Animations are in progress still, but there are three projects in production, one I'm waiting on lines to be recorded for so I can time out what's been produced, one from the OrgLIX archive which is just taking longer than I thought, and one final personal project I'm still keeping secret so apologies for the wait for some of my watchers but your patience will be rewarded by hopefully the close releases of three feature animations over the course of 2010 I hope you'll enjoy.

Thanks for anyone who attended OrgLIX's late night panel at Anime USA, which I could have been there especially since I've heard little about what occurred there with the complete lack of photos and footage.

Not a huge amount to report on currently beyond the fantastic news that my wonderful girlfriend

will be coming over a visit in December for the very first time.

Project-wise I've been struggling to stay focussed I guess, that and majorly distracted by the addictive Dissidia and 358/2 Days, the latter simply because I'm a perfectionist player sometimes and wanted to see it through considering the groups I'm a part of.

Can't stay I'm close to finishing any new Pokemon drawings but I'm still set on seeing that project through to the end considering I'm already a tenth of the way in (I just haven't uploaded them all since I've separated them all into specific groups as incentive to draw Pokemon that don't grab my interest as much as others).

Since no one attempted to capture my 20K Kiriban I made a small OrgLIX quiz which

successfully completed before anyone else and shall eventually receive her request, I shall consider another quiz next time but would like for once for my watchers to try and get a screengrab of 25,000 or as close as possible, it would make me feel loved like other artists I know who indulge in the tradition.

And in other news OrgLIX is returning to Anime USA and will be at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Arlington, Virginia this weekend throughout the 20th-22nd of November and hosting two panels (2:30 AM Saturday and Sunday morning), if you're an OrgLIX fan or already attending Anime USA 2009 we'd really appreciate seeing you there (plus there will be free giveaways for the fans if that's of any incentive).

), again I use Deviant Art to showcase my work, not my photos but visit my angel's account for some choice photos of our cosplay sessions which will hopefully be added to in the winter.

Project-wise I'm dabbling with the Pokemon Project having finally gotten back into watching the Japanese episodes and collecting references for Pokemon I intend to draw in the near future though for anyone watching me because of this I'm not taking requests and have already decided on the order I'll be submitting new entries as I've previously divided the entire collection into as many groups of similarities or traits as possible and yet I'm still free to work on Pokemon that may not be due for release any time soon.

However, it kind of takes a back seat when I'm focussed on the animation (granted it hasn't been much since Dissidia has been occupying my time somewhat) as I've accumulated far more suscribers on YouTube than my Watcher count (not that you guys don't take priority considering I upload animations both here and there but the same doesn't apply to my illustration work).
I know it's been a while since my last animation release (almost one year ago) but this is because I'm currently working on Three projects and jumping from one to another depending on what motivates me best or what's quicker to do at the time, one of these including the last OrgLIX animation for the time being, so rest assured there should be less time between uploads once the first of the set is ready to go.

And finally, I'm due for 20,000 pageviews not too far away so as per usual I'm putting it out there so whoever can get a screengrab of it (or as close to it as possible failing someone comes forward with the exact number) I'll draw and colour an original character for them (though with some outstanding trades and prizes I'm afraid it won't be immediate but will remain on my to do list until its finished).
I haven't had much luck in the past but I'm hoping with all the recent watchers I've been noticing (apologies for not writing to each and every one of you or thanking you guys for favouriting my work as there's simply too many) that Someone will consider a free drawing from me somewhat appealing (remember, the screengrab of the closest pageviews following 20,000 will be eligible once enough time has passed to give people a chance, even if it's several digits away).

My legs were worn out from all the walking around the sites but it was one of the best weeks of my life just getting to be close and spend some real quality time with her and to confirm what we'd felt for three months in addition to our year long friendship was everything we thought it was.

We did a little cosplay but I've never really been one to post photos here so for anyone who wants to see me all dressed up in silly costumes feel free to visit

I love you with all my heart Katie, you complete me and I can always be myself with you, our love will remain strong despite the distance and I promise to be faithful to you and wait as long as it takes for us to be together in a more permanent setting.

Project-wise the illustration has taken a back seat considering my animation has a lot more viewers waiting on the next installment over at YouTube so the Pokemon Project is on hold as well as whatever I owe prize-wise and trade-wise, I will get on those when I'm properly motivated as I just haven't felt as driven to focus that long on Photoshop let alone drawings not linked to my own characters.

In case this is what some of my watchers are here for yes there is another OrgLIX animated episode in the works which of course will be distributed here and on YouTube and Newgrounds, just in case anyone is unaware there's more than what I've produced please note there are many more episodes available at the OrgLIX website (www.orglix.org) in audio form.

The animation mentioned isn't OrgLIX though I am in the middle of one more episode for the time being where my focus was interrupted by a few technical problems late last year, also, I may or may not be finishing up an additional short animation written and voiced by members of OrgLIX depending on as and when the audition process among the cast is decided and a soundtrack completed even though I've drawn up the character layouts so that what's left shouldn't take too long.
And finally the current animation I'm working on was spontaneously written up and all the character roles voiced among myself alongside my now girlfriend

, don't want to spoil the surprise of the setting though it is Square Enix-related and over nine minutes long, depending on as and when I can really focus on the work it should hopefully be finished within the year, perhaps before July if I really focus and continue not being employed though technically I tend to do more work when I have a job due to having a proper structure and knowing I only have those limited hours each night to myself.

So yeah, as of the forth of March I have a wonderful girlfriend in my life and I am so much more happier for it (though I was happy enough just being close friends with her) and overjoyed to have been asked out by one I now consider my best friend, I never thought I could find someone who shares so many of my interests nor someone willing to give as much effort towards me as I would for her but it happened.
The only downside is that we do live significantly far away from each other but technically we do speak and see each other almost everyday on Skype and I'm willing to be patient and see if it works out come July when I fly over to spend time with her.
Once the animation is completed which will be her very first official voice acting debut you should probably expect random drawings depicting us or characters she loves to pop up on occasion. I love you so much Katie...

Anyways, not much else to tell really, I finished my EDCL course and am a bit more knowledgeable about Microsoft Office programs and after weeks of inconvenience and discomfort the building work to my kitchen and bathroom has paid off, and unfortunately several members of OrgLIX due to commitment and stress-related issues have come to the decision that we need a small break until July but we're not disbanding the project completely (at least I hope not, I've a ton of scripts written up I'd love to hear recorded).

However I felt I needed to make the point to catch up on some illustration work before the next animation (whenever completion may be).
Please find the Pokemon Project a little more updated with a minor adjustment to Hoothoot and six alternative Bug Pokemon, it might be a while as the following airborne group has Pokemon that haven't even been drawn let alone inked, coloured and cleaned up.

Apologies for not uploading photos like I said, truth being I prefer to keep photos separate from my art so they're on my Facebook account if you'd like to see them and can be considered one of my friends.

Still no job but I've been learning Microsoft Office programs during the day to hopefully increase my chances of finding another office job now that I'm considering two more brief trips to the States to see my amazing friends.

As for the work I haven't done any major animation since my computer started playing up again so I brought a new hard drive before it crashed completely (fifteen to twenty minutes to open Windows and programs disappearing isn't normal), Vista feels odd to get used to, all the technical problems has affected my drive and I only started doing actual animation and Photoshop work not long ago.

Animation projects are on the go with at least one OrgLIX episode on the go but another big project planned either immediately after or following maybe one more OrgLIX animation depending on my feelings at the time after a chat with members of OrgLIX themselves at the con, and now following a Skype session where a one-off script was presented, I instantly volunteered to provide animation for it and I'm currently setting up layouts for when the soundtrack is completed and I can animate it properly, not giving anything away until then I'm afraid.

Sometimes I write a new journal to draw attention to new material, and this is one of those times.

After premiering at AnimeUSA on a projector screen though not in front of quite as many people as we were hoping for, the public version of the latest OrgLIX animated episode is now available on DeviantArt, YouTube and Newgrounds (the latter I'd appreciate if anyone could view the file there and give it a good rating and/or comment [link]).

I'm a little lost as to having purpose in my life aside from playing Crisis Core on my PSP and other video games I'd set aside to get the creative work done, if I can I'll get started on my contest prizes and art trades though I'm a little wary of my computer which after losing all my personal data has recently been subject to sudden restarts and blue screens, also I feel I'm somewhat still in animation mode if anything and likely to make a start on yet another episode, I've at least two more I'd like to animate and that's provided Orin doesn't write more episodes I get drawn to wanting to add to the list, and after a chat in person I might also animate an episode from our side project based on FF Crisis Core "Crisis Perverted" which will make a nice change though the style will remain the same.

Unfortunately, not the best month with the above and it's completition having become questionable in my mind due to some technical problems which forced me to discard a lot of persona data and work (no illustration or animation which I make a point to constantly back-up), I'm over it long as there are no more problems to delay the animation work though until I get Photoshop working again illustration isn't an option at present though once I'm done with the current work I'll consider getting started on prizes and art trades while I'm out of work.

~Tetsubo As Good A Time As Any (+ Kiriban Request Decided) http://Tetsubo.deviantart.com/journal/19607572/ http://Tetsubo.deviantart.com/journal/19607572/ Sat, 26 Jul 2008 13:35:08 PDT Sadly not me as I'm in England and have felt the need to commit to my first job regardless of the temp status but just maybe if OrgLIX are invited back or get into other events and locations I could throw caution to the wind and take a brief weekend holiday in the States to contribute to a panel, finally meet some awesome friends in person as well as a certain fan I consider a good friend now.

Speaking of work I'm being made redundant in two weeks (though there's a slim possibility of an extention if more work comes in and quite frankly no one else, not even the permanent staff are going to be able to work to my standard and meet the deadlines as I have, not without a couple of months experience under my tutelage.
Either way I'll be happy for the break given I've only had one day off in the year and that was a booked holiday so hopefully between my continuing work on the next OrgLIX animated episode I can get back into my illustration projects including outstanding art trades and contest prizes, I haven't forgotten in case anyone thought that.

I'm taking a break from the Pokemon Project to focus on animation but it will continue in due course as I've got twenty odd drawings virtually finished on my computer but the submitting Pokemon in groups has been a real help in motivating me to draw Pokemon I didn't choose to priotise on my own and something I'll need to push me to get close to drawing them all as I've intended to do.

As for the kiriban, it's been over a month with not one response, not great for my self confidence that the free request was either overlooked or not wanted which I hope will change as I enjoy setting myself an unknown drawing challenge for every 5000 pageviews so if you like my style and have visually interesting original characters do keep an eye on my journals come the next pageview target as it can be relatively easy to be considered to win a kiriban now that I've almost given up on the tradition of a screengrab.

Anyway, because of some great responses and feedback for my contribution to OrgLIX both in the animation and my characterisation of Luxord and Lexaeus as well as having become a good friend of mine I'm giving a free drawing to

I do have some randomly completed Pokemon drawings but the groupings have helped me get on with Pokemon I normally wouldn't be as into drawing as others so that tradition will continue once I organise every basic Pokemon into a group, however I will say now that after a lot of work on this I'm returning back to the animation for the time being and helping OrgLIX by animating some shorts to advertise the convention the majority of the cast will be attending, details are on the site.

The kiriban number has been reached (I just happened to check my page as it hit 15000) so since again I don't think anyone sought out to catch it I'm making it fairly simple.

Any member of DeviantArt reading this who is interested in a fully coloured character drawing should simply reply to this post for the chance to have their character drawn.

The conditions are that you must have an Original character that you designed yourself and a link/s to a/some reference drawing/s must be provided in the post (or as soon as possible in a second post on the offchance you're worried the slots will be filled before you can provide links).
Once five to ten people have posted requests or until a set amount of time has passed, whatever the situation calls for (so don't hang about if you're interested), I'll decide among the requests which character is the most appealing to me that I want to draw (so put your most creative and visually interesting characters forward).

Not much to report on my life, job's still taking my time but is due to end between July and September depending on when my workload is transfered what with the place shutting down.
This'll hopefully give me a lot of time to continue my projects and not demotivate me as not having much to leave the house for sometimes does to me though I'll still need to actively seek work, my love life is verging on maybe for change though the online correspondance could just as easily lead to nothing, not sure why I'm sharing this though I guess this is playing on my mind from time to time.

Once again I'm offering a free original character drawing to whoever catches my pageviews at exactly 15000 (failing that, the closest number after 15000 so do screengrab on the offchance a predecessor doesn't own up).
The only conditions are that you must have an original character of your own to draw and links to references of them, however if the kiriban is caught by someone who doesn't have their own characters I'm sure we can work something else out to be drawn.
If you catch it, note me immediately as I'm going to make an alteration in case no one comes forward again.

My birthday has been and gone and wasn't overly significant or spectacular, just got a night of kareoke with friends and family and a small gathering after a hard day at work on the birthday date itself, also no sketches or anything here which is disappointing, maybe next year, anyway I'm awaiting a couple of kiriban wins so that'll do, I'm open to art trades but currently I'm way too busy with work as well as my own projects which includes the next animated installment of OrgLIX which I'm happy to say I am halfway through completing.

I'm also working hard on the next installment to the animated versions of OrgLIX, I hit a bit of a wall a little while back but I'm in full swing again and still far from completion, little by little I'm making progress despite my full-time job which has risen in workload and leaves me tired out by the end of the day plus rush hour conditions but I'm hanging in there and doing a little work each evening, without that to occupy my time and give me something to look forward to I'd be seriously depressed about the routine my life's become.

Finally it's my birthday this month on the 20th not that I'm overly excited or anything, (aside from hopefully a kareoke night with friends) at my age it's not as amazing as it used to be and quite frankly the things I truly want right now can't be bought (a special girl in my life, time to work on creative projects, etc), but I guess I can think up a few DVDs to have bought for me even though I still have some from Christmas I've not gotten around to watching due to time constraints and creative projects.
Sorry if that comes off too negatively, one other thing that can't so much be bought is the effort towards fanart so if anyone wants to send a gift my way I do love and appreciate it when artists take the time to draw my original characters in their style.

Firstly things may or may not be set in motion on the relationship front thanks to Facebook and a recent meeting, currently the person in question is out of the country but not for long and we're going for a Let's See How It Goes basis.

Secondly as may have been noticed, the first selected episode of OrgLIX is complete in the form of the somewhat classic Stickers ([link]) which I chose from the available episodes because it involves all the Organization (and unofficial members) as well as my voice as Luxord so it was interesting to have the full cast of characters to draw.
That and the plot is as introductory to the members as OrgLIX gets as we expect our listeners/watchers to check out the site, read the bios, identify which voice parodies which character and listen to the rest of the audio soundtracks as the character traits, quirks and running jokes develop over time, all the animation does is solve the placing of the voices with the characters.
I usually thank any favourites but Stickers has skyrocketed with favourites on DeviantArt alone as well as gotten good feedback from Newgrounds and the OrgLIX fans on the forums so thanks everyone should I not reply personally.

All characters are parodies of Organization XIII and so certain traits are exaggerated or twisted or bring in themes brought up by fans of the original characters, Lexaeus is mute at this point before I had the opportunity to audition for his role, there are yaoi themes in the pairings of Axel & Roxas, Saix & Xemnas, Marluxia is extremely metrosexual (very much gay if not for suggestive relationships with Larxene), OrgLIX also includes Namine who lives in Castle Oblivion, Riku's Replika (renamed Repliku) who serves as maid and cook and constantly pines over Namine, Patrick, Demyx's pet Heartless and DiZ who although serves as narrator in the episode is a borderline paedophile (at least for Repliku) as well as other creepy interests, OrgLIX sometimes has a twisted and dark sense of humour so be warned.

After that I will complete the projects in due course (so please no pestering from anyone as I've heard of friends taking years to get around to contest prizes) but am currently working to actually complete some animation basic as it is for the Kingdom Hearts parody audio group Organization LIX which I have thoroughly enjoyed being a part of and have been happy to devote so much time to properly animate one of it's many audio sketches (though there have been AMVs made of such already), excluding any problems transfering files and syncing sound I'll upload it here among many other sites.
Hopefully after that I can break from animation and get back to illustration and all the prizes and outstanding art trades.

Tetsubo's Characters Contest

Unsurprisingly given how much I appreciate seeing fanart, the subject of this competition revolves around... my characters.
Generally I don't tend to do just drawings of characters, I can't seem to help building a background, a history and a personality for each and every one, even in university I did so even just a little for my creations I designed in small projects, and I've always been passionate about my characters over the years.
Therefore the theme of the competition is to draw any of my characters and virtually however you want (subject to some rules though), it can be a solo pic or a group pic and you're allowed to mix and match characters from different series to interact with each other if you wish.

Rules and Regulations:

It can be done in any medium; pencil-drawn/inked, coloured or uncoloured and drawn in any style including your own provided it's still recognisable as the character the image is meant to be depicting.

It can be in any pose or expression except for anything distasteful such as excessive gore, nudity or sexual positions or suggestions.
Poses and expressions that match a character's personality would be beneficial but feel free to have a little fun in that regard if you wish.
Among the references provided should be some basic information and background on the relevant character for you to view and get an idea of the characters' personalities and such but feel free to ask questions if there's anything specific you'd like to know about a selected character via noting me.

Your drawing may contain one character or one hundred characters (unlikely as that is), basically as many characters per entry as you'd like though I wouldn't suggest overdoing it as you can freely enter as many times as you want in the set time.

The Deadline:

Because of general school/college/university commitments of some being taken into account the current deadline stands at the 1st of October 2007 in order to give people the whole summer to work on this, however extensions will be considered for special circumstances should I be aware of entries subject to them that need an extension.
Depending on the results I will announce the winner a week from the deadline or if need be, hold a poll to decide the winner.

Prizes:

As with contests I've entered and being low on income the prizes will be in the forms of art requests:

1st Prize: A drawn, inked and digitally coloured drawing of any three characters of yours (or a pairing of any two characters should you not have any).

2nd Prize: A drawn, inked and digitally coloured drawing of any two characters of yours (or a pairing of any two characters if you don't have any of your own).

3rd Prize: A drawn, inked and digitally coloured drawing of a single character of yours (or a request of any other character if you don't have any characters of your own to choose from).

I will also consider giving away bonus prizes for non-winners for factors like visual effort, appealing concept and/or a significant amount of entries, if this is the case then the prize will be chosen by myself.

Speaking of which my voice actors finally came through and recorded for me on the 19th so the first two episodes are feasible to work on now, just don't expect too much what with the animation degree, I'm a little out of practice and this series is just for fun so I'm keeping the animation basic.

All in all I had a nice 26th birthday especially compared to the three that came up short due to my university course and distance from my family, no dud presents, got to see my best friend which has been an outstanding thing for several months and the karaoke night was highly memorable.

Things are temporarily running slow drawing-wise as I caved in and bought a US copy of Pokemon Diamond which I'm playing loads, a little hesitant to do the whole Wi-Fi thing so no friend code as yet.
Also I'm working on that long term Pokemon project too which'll be big when I submit the finished pieces but not before it's ready.

In other news I should be recording lines with my best friend and his missus who came down for the weekend so provided his throat isn't strained from last night like mine is I should be in a position to build the first soundtrack to Flat Shack and continue animating, we also got a lot of brainstorming done and now have a basic runthrough of the first four scripts which I look forward to animating.

Anyways, usual information, no job, no replies as yet, working out still but no significant changes yet, work-wise I had to take a break from daily submittals due to the stress I put myself under meeting deadlines and my loss of internet while I changed service to save a significant amount of money each month, I've stuff in the works but I'm working on other things for the time being and will submit more Realms characters and others when inspiration hits me.
The other works in question are a quick animated series written with my best friend called Flat Shack (preview available soon) and what with the release of Diamond and Pearl in the States I've been motivated to work on a long term Pokemon illustration project of my choosing, more info on that when I decide to reveal it, at least I'm keeping busy in the absence of paid work.

Job-wise I'm still unemployed but going to a place called Goldmans where I may or may not have an interview or job prospect, it's all been set up for me so I've little to no idea if I'm up for the job but wish me luck as it'd really help my self-esteem if it worked out.
Not that I'm not working on things myself, I've had chats with a friend and a goal for me is to simply be more social, I've also made the decision on my own to get in shape so I'm currently working out two/three times a week and altering my diet for the time being.

As I said in the last journal this month has been all about submitting the very last of my classic drawings, it's been a tad stressful keeping to a daily deadline as I've been cleaning up each drawing and writing a description of all my Resistor characters (the first I ever created that are somewhat credible and part of my stories).
I forget the exact date it all came together but technically the Resistors and relevant villains celebrate ten years since the days I created, designed and started writing about them as well as illustrated them in comic form which was a big step for me as an artist.

That's almost over now as I cover the last of the villains I illustrated a while back, I've three Realms drawings ready to go and others waiting to be coloured but to be honest I will be slowing down on submittals after this as I'm keeping busy, currently I'm uploading my animation database to YouTube and selected works to MySpace which means finally I'm going to fill in the gaps for my final film which is currently incomplete.
There's also plenty of Zomboy and Kadaver to work on (clearly a June deadline was too premature) and now my new series Flat Shack which I'm writing in collaboration with a friend and recording the dialogue shortly, I've finished the title screen and will upload it here in due time.

I've plenty to get on with and although I've not a job, my personal projects keep me happy and give me something to work on and generally feel good about, thanks to everyone for any and all comments (or favourites), I'm almost at 3000 page views.

Anyways, the rough plans this month are to submit a classic drawing cleaned up a little on Photoshop every day and given the large amount of characters I created for The Resistors (my first proper project and lasting characters which is ten years old now), it's going to pretty much take the whole month but after that that'll be all my classic watercolour pictures so it should all be digital coloured drawings from there onwards in which I'll continue uploading some new drawings from my Realms short stories from which Blaze has already been submitted (and at some point the last Astro Quest duo pic with Hunter and Tessa whom I'm still tweaking design-wise).

The recent absence was used effectively as I got back into some of the animation but it's still slow going (it's six minutes worth and therefore double the length of my last film) but I've started on cut-out animation wherever it applies.
I'm also planning on starting yet another series which I'm writing together with a friend although we won't be resumed our roles for Thicko and Braino but creating all new characters for a series based in a radio station with randomness and comedy galore (and a less serious approach on the animation so as to get it done but amateur Flash animation out there comforts me that I don't always have to do things perfect just cos I graudated from an animation course).

I have an I.D now for the first time, I had planned to maybe draw me struggling against my cartoon self or alter-ego in a photo-manipulation/drawing but the months spents not doing that have set that concept aside and Guitar Hero has been such an inspiring game I decided to go with that while including Tetsubo and one of the Sinnou Pokemon, it's down below for anyone who doesn't know what I look like.

Currently feeling good about my recent interview, not the one with the test, Ive still not heard back as I write this but an alternate one at an art agency, the interview was very informal and my flexibility as well as my skills should hopefully put me high in the running for an admin position, I thought I wouldnt dare put so much hope on a successful interview after the airport thing but I cant seem to help it sometimes, guess its what makes me unique, negative as I can be on certain issues I somehow manage to pick myself up from a trail of failure and rejection in various matters and carry on, I dont mean to sound vain or above anyone, its just given the way I usually feel and recognizing this in myself though its been mentioned to me before its a trait I should be more proud of since I have trouble recognizing my own self worth sometimes.

Anyways, in regards to projects, Ive been majorly distracted from the animation, Im thinking I clearly wont make the deadline I intended, however I only set it so soon in the hopes of finishing it before this years Glammie Awards and gatherings but at least I can still say Ive been animating, Flash is harder than I remembered and given sync problems at present and difficulty presenting things like I want Im likely to use some of the lazy techniques to get scenes done though I intend to do my best animating others, Ive seen a lot of amateur Flash movies and having graduated in animation my projects have to show something for it unless Im deliberately being cheap and lazy (which will happen when I get a friend on board to write a less than serious script together).
Ill probably be better off concentrating on my gallery for the time being which I am at present since I also wish to launch my first contest in June/July time and need to work hard to give participants range and choice to work with from my character database.
Currently Im finishing colouring on my Astro Quest villains and may or may not follow up with a few couples pics from my various stories to celebrate the Valentines period (not that I have anyone to celebrate with), then uploading the last of my classic drawings of my very first solid storyline and characters and then running through each series Ive written in illustrating all significant characters and present as much as I can when the contest begins (overall itll be easier if one of two people whove promised to help in my Photoshop matter, M.F and Z.J, I hate to have to remind people of stuff but Im still waiting on your offers and would appreciate lots if either of you guys came through for me).

The interview I've been going on about turned out only to be a test section alone, I'll know soon enough if I'm applicable for an interview, I guess I did okay considering although it was harder than the examples suggested and I was disappointed in not outright perfecting the maths and observation sections, the latter's final part went over my head and I never did take in how to swiftly calculate long division thanks to several flawed maths teachers over the years' neglect.
Also had to go through a couple of pages of information and reply to a theoretical letter summarising the important facts which I also suck at, I left somewhat upset since I spent too much time on the rough version and didn't quite finish the cleaned up letter, would have been different if I had a computer keyboard as the job would no doubt provide.
I can only hope I've done well enough to proceed and that I can sell myself in the interview if it comes.
I do have an alternative interview soon for an office assistant role at an art gallery though the many tasks included may become stressful but these are the only two appropriate job applications I've had returned in months and money is quite tight.

Contrary to that last note I have a new computer which I aim to pay back soon on the credit card I used, the only program I've found it impossible to transfer with ease is Photoshop which explains why I suddenly stopped uploading images after the regular run of them.
I can still use my laptop though the noise and now the trouble of setting it up every time has kind of put me off colouring drawings in general, that and Twilight Princess which I've recently finished as well as Mystery Dungeon (I'm a Treecko) and Guitar Hero I & II.
Hopefully a friend will help out with getting Photoshop on my new computer with pretty 17" screen and hopefully it'll actually work, I have tried out a similar program which apparently does the same things but I prefer the familiarity of Photoshop.

Drawing-wise all my relevant classic Pokemon drawings are in so I'm currently finishing up drawings of my Astro Quest anthro characters, then the last of my classic drawings in the form of the Resistors and hopefully plenty more new stuff including the possibility of a few more couple drawings to coincide with the Valentine's Day period provided I obtain the appropriate programs to colour them.
Animation-wise I'm struggling a little with sound and animatic synching up as Flash is being a tad annoying in that department, at this rate I can't guarantee a June deadline for Zomboy and Kadaver though I'm determined to finish it and move onto other episodes as well as projects I've been thinking up.
The auditions are officially closed and my full cast on Zomboy and Kadaver selected, one of which by the name of Rina-Chan has already done some awesome work as the voice of Trinity and I look forward to all the recordings and building the soundtracks since I've already acted my heart out with many many male characters on every line in the series.

Time draws closer to a pretty decent job prospect and interview at the FCO, I desperately need a job now and the new computer I ordered on the credit card certainly won't help, other than the job long as I get the relevant programs installed without problems I should be able to work on my animations without as much distraction or worries from unusual sounds.

Thanks everyone for viewing my page and all the nice comments throughout last year, the 2000 pageviews makes me feel really good about myself and my work so please visit often to build it up steadily even more, I'll try and make an effort to celebrate the 5000th pageviews with either a general drawing or a kiriban request, I haven't decided yet.

Currently having found a voice for Trinity on the Zomboy and Kadaver series I've finally decided to hold auditions to fill a male and female role, on the offchance a voice actor is reading this here's the link: ([link]).

After a few late and sleepness nights of final backing up and completion of the Zomboy and Kadaver recordings of mine while I still have a working copy of Premiere only for it to be decided in the end that buying a new computer would be more cost effective than what it would cost to fix my laptop so as of January when the sales hopefully come about I will be purchasing a normal PC.
On the plus side I've decided to forget about the risk and start work on the animation I've been holding off though I am backing it up over and over again since the file size is currently small.

I'll be submitting more new (and old for the time being) drawings of my character database, I'm just being picky about the order of things, I've got one last Zomboy and Kadaver-based image to finish then a few classics and then onto my Astro Quest villains, from there on it'll be more classics which should just about cover every old character image and then digital coloured pics all the way I guess.

Currently I'm happy to say that despite still not having found a job I'm feeling creative and motivated at the moment.

My requests were finished this month though I've managed to acculumate some art requests which like the requests I'll work on when I'm motivated to do so and possibly all at once.
I'll keep a progress report on the art trades but for now the request list is moving off the front page still my side of the feature is completed.

As I said mid-month I'm now up on a Voice Acting forum in order to help out some fellow animators with voice roles, however I'm also seeking voice talents now that the talented lot from GCADT are no longer available to me, I just received an audition from a talented and experienced voice actress and Trinity now has a suitable voice actress behind her which is progress considering I've searched long and hard for a fitting voice for the series that I can rely on for several episodes worth of lines.
If anyone needs a male voice role for animation and such let me know as I enjoy voice acting and have a fair range.

Still haven't checked in the laptop which is worrying and forces me to back up my Photoshop work constantly, as soon as the problem is fixed since it appears just to be my hard drive, I'll hopefully jump back into the "Zomboy and Kadaver" animated series which I'm serious about doing as a personal project in my free time.

My Deviant circle is quite large now and my page views have certainly increased lately so I'm motivated all the more to upload lots of new (and old for the time being) works, currently I'm still working to update the gallery with most of my significant characters since they will be the subject of my competition in around six months.

Just a minor update to the journal really.

I'm finally feeling creative again and almost finished with my requests, I'd like to upload some of my recent character drawings before getting started on the recent art trades I've ended up agreeing on lately.
Laptop's still making loud noises during any remotely strenuous tasks including Photoshop and Flash which is slowing down some of my projects such as Zomboy & Kadaver Episode 1.

In regards to speaking roles I might be able to request outside help for the female voice roles on a Voice Acting forum I've joined, as well as drawing, animating and writing I'm now occasionally voice acting whether that's from the parts I was accepted for or the parts I'm auditioning for to play a role/s in various Flash animations which is great fun and something I really enjoy (those from GCADT will probably be aware of that).

who provided the link who I'm also voice acting for with Crash Bandicoot characters such as Professor N.Gin, Doctor Neo Cortex and Crash's alter-ego Crunch.

My Deviant circle of friends has grown during my search for people doing the request feature as I love seeing other artist's takes on my creations, it's gotten me some more work to do via art trades but most of the time it's enjoyable to draw other people's characters, long as it doesn't hinder my progress on uploading lots of my character's for June's promised competition since my characters will be the theme and I want there to be a range of every significant character of mine.

Hmmmm, it doesn't feel like this has been the most productive of months, still waiting on more job replies and worrying since my laptop or maybe just the fan is making loud noises whenever I need to load anything remotely strenuous on the computer including Video Files and even Photoshop.
As such I've not done very much new pics as the above problem is distracting and annoying, as well as other distractions like Kingdom Hearts 2 which I loved and have now finished.
Now it's pretty much Guitar Hero every so often which I got to test at the Video Games Exhibit at the Museum of Science and then bought two days later.
And thanks to

's competition my creative spark has seemingly returned and I'm ready to submit a few new pics throughout the months starting with my overdue requests.
(PS - Please Please Vote for my Seshi entry from possibly the 4th or later onwards when Inugurly closes the comp as I'd love the chance to win a contest for once, or at least get into the top three which I've never done in the previous three contests I entered and made a lot of effort for).

Moving on, I've got a lot of high hopes for my Zomboy and Kadaver animated series but given the problems on computer I've been backing up my files in case a trip to get my computer fixed deletes my files as has happened with other computers in the past so I'm a little reluctant to continue animating until this computer problem is sorted.
I've even voice acted All of my speaking parts for all 20 episodes in advance (it was fun) which is a lot considering I've acted for as many characters as I can do before any other character sounds like one I've already done (Zomboy, Kadaver, Professor Evil, Lank, Chunk, Salvador, Bongo, Billy Bob Joel, Mr Buzz and all the other male teachers in the storyline's school and a bunch of cameo roles).
Now I just need to get confirmations on the little female friends that are available to fill in for the roles of Trinity, Chainer, Jun and the other females in order to have the option to put together Episode 2's soundtrack.
At this rate I might take until June or thereabouts to finish which I hope I can do as I'd like to return to Wales for my uni's annual event that showcases the student's animation so that I can safely say I've animated at least one project in the year since I left uni.

First off I didn't get the airport job, but what was annoying was that I was left hanging around by the phone for two weeks with the promise of an answer either way within one, so if any users ever become responsible for interviews and such, don't leave applicants in the dark especially if they were unsuccessful.

Moving on, I'm looking elsewhere while hanging in there regarding money and will probably have some time on my hands to be creative.
I've actually started animating again on my Zomboy and Kadaver series which I'm hoping to eventually get through all 20 scripts I've more or less finished writing.

Again, not a lot on the job front though that's currently leaving me with time to draw and plan out my next animation project if not allow me to spend away on material goods (video games mostly).
Anyhow, I attended the graduation ceremony a good week ago which was nice and really made my family happy for me to have gotten where I have but considering it was an animation course it doesn't feel as hard to have achieved compared to other degree courses considering I enjoyed it so much (despite a lot of sacrificed sleep at times).
Good luck to everyone in class wherever they move onto from here.

Currently I'm waiting on some results from various job-related places, did a patronisingly easily Literacy and Maths test so I should get a callback for various jobs at a local (ish) airport but will have to attend a 4 week course before the interview itself, oh well.

I'm currently working on my many entries for

's competition and then hoping to do the same for

's contest afterwards then it's back to my own ideas which mostly involve my first episode of "Zomboy & Kadaver" which won't likely be finished for a while to come considering I've just done layouts and soundtrack.

Still haven't worked on the Flash portions of my animation course final film except for the Zomboy & Kadaver preview but will do so when I'm inspired to animate it properly.
The nature and length of the film mean it's probably more beneficial to cut it up into small easily loadable swf files, I'll do that when I can be bothered and submit them here alongside clips like the aforementioned preview and the Arctic Weather Report which can be seen in my gallery as well as other animations like my 'masterpiece' Crash Site starring my current avatar Bobby (might change it to Zomboy & Kadaver's Chunk at some point).
