Spring break... trying to be excited about it and really not working out. Down here in Corpus Christi, Texas, its been raining and is rather cold. But it decided to finally clear up and is supposed to be hotter than the face of the sun for the next week. I guess that is a yay ... at least I can get a tan. I'll look like an island dweller by the end of the week. Go me and looking like a Bahama Mamma. Hopefully while my friend and I are down here we can find some buddies. 21 year old buddies. That will make this trip a whole lot better.

You know thoses moments where you go, "Jumping mother f**cking Geronimo, what the hell just happened?!" Well, that just happened to today on the way home and since we live on a little back road, people think that they can go fast, even when the road is wet. The speed limt for around the corner is 45, but in the rain, you have to be going 20 to avoid sliding.
I came around the corner and an Exterra in the other lane passed me going at least 40. I really didn't pay much attention untill I heard something and looked in my rear-view mirror. The cargo van was behind got hit head on by the other vehicle when it skidded across the line because the driver lost control.
I backed up because I was the only one near when it happened and as I got farther back around the corner I saw the Exterra upside down in the ditch on the side opposite of the van.
Both of them were alright and walked away, but this does teach us one thing though: Drive responsibly people!!Just because you can drive a road you know fast when its dry doesn't mean you can drive just as fast when its wet.

Well, I can safely say that my horse, Monty, has finally gotten over having tied up. The other day in the arena, I don't know what he saw, but he absoulutly wigged out. He tried to bolt and when I kept him under, the bastard started rearing! And I mean heavy duty, no kidding around, serious as a grenade in your mouth with no pin rearing. He pulled his Zorro stunt horse shit three times before I finally said screw this and got him calmed down enough to get off. I was fine and perfectly alright when I was on him and he was pulling these little episodes, but as soon as my feet hit the dirt, I was shaking and I guess I got really pale, because my trainer, Kathy, was there and she shot up and walked over to me (we were only a few yards from the gate of the arena) and took the reins from me. She told me to go lean on the railing and not to take my helmet off in case I passed out. She told me that it ws from all the adrenaline hitting my system at once.

But the good news is, I can work the hell out of him and not have to worry about him tying up again! Hopefully we'll get over this little fiasco and be ready to do some hardcore showing this season!

Well, I guess that I'm just not happy in school or out of it. We just got back yesterday ... and I'm already sick of it. My math teacher sure knows how to put a damper on the returning happiness. She welcomed us back with a pop quiz! Yay, everybody get your pencils out! Bring on the confetti and silly string! ... I hate math class... with a passion.

My parental figures decided that they would surprise me over Spring Break by going to a party (I obviously wasn't being asked to come) and staying in a hotel so I could have the house all to my self.

*Sarcasm out the pores* Oh, I've got goosebumps.

But I wasn't allowed to have anyone over, I wasn't allowed into the Rum cabinet (they hid the key), I was allowed on the internet and *Pulls paper after paper, throwing them over her shoulder* the list goes on and on.

As for another bit of good news, my horse tied up a few days ago and for those of you that don't know what it is, I'll summarize. VERY VERY BAD THING TO HAPPEN!!!! But at least he really didn't have a bad case of it and his muscles weren't convulsing. He was still interested in grazing, but he could only move his body down to the hips. His hind legs just wouldn't move. He was turning himself around and his hind feet were digging into the mud. I felt so bad for him, I mean, he's like my baby, I care more about him then I do my parents! But he's doing much better and I was able to ride yesterday (at a walk but it was a definite improvment).

Spring Break is such a nice time of year, ain't it?

*Major sarcasm* Yay, Spring Break. My favorite, I can hardly control my joy!

As you can tell, I'm feel a hell of a lot better. I've finally kicked this stupid sickness and just in time for Spring Break. And such a lot I can do now.

Not saying that I don't enjoy getting out of school, because I do and I get to spend time with one of the few intelligent people I know (I'll sit in front of a mirror and talk to myself) but I really don't know anything to do over Spring Break. I guess that I might get some of my drawings up here, but otherwise I think this is going to be a very boring week.

But, on the down side, I have sooo much homework and classwork to catch up on and two finals that have to be turned in before Spring Break. Maybe I should have just stayed sick?
I don't know what the Hell I have, but it is really ticking me off. Last night I felt really good, and was actually looking forward to going to school, and then around 3:00 in the morning, it came back again with a vengence. Think of having someone stand next to you and followling you around everywhere you go and having them shove a knife into your gut and twisting. Now multiply that pain by, oh let's see, twenty. That is how I feel. And I can't eat, because it just comes right back up. I would just like someone to put me out of my misery.

Any takers?
I thought that I lived in Misery, not the frickin' Amazon! My friends and I were planning to go to the Zoo tomorrow and what does it do? It rains. A lot. A Hell of a lot. What does the Big Head In The Sky have against me? I try to be good, honest, but somethimes the temptation is just too great to do something horribly evil. Like the time I super glued little army men all over my cousin's work boots the night before he had to go out to work.

So you have to read them, as it is all part of my master plot to take over the world one sorry little mind at a time.

And as to the title, yes indeed, my own mother called me an idiot. And just because I told her that I was sick of her trying to pick cutsy names for my goldfish. A goldfish people! Well, since he's been dead twice (long story) I decided on a good name for him:

Lazarus Kafka Fish

I think it fits him. Lazarus because he's died twice and Kafka because he's creepy. And I'm sick of finding my dad trying to catch him to use as fishing bait. He's at least a good 5 inches long and I've had Lazarus for three years. I raised him from a carnival feeder fish, you know, the ones that you have to throw the ping pong ball into the bowl?

I love my Fish. He's spazzy.

Well, somethings are truly better left unsaid. And some people just shouldn't be allowed to live, as they do some really stupid shit sometimes. My friend, Laney, went to the Wal-mart near her house the other day and did a few things off one of those lists that you can find on the internet. You know, the ones that tell you all the nifty shit that you can do to play mind games with the people who work there.

She took one shirt into the dressing room and stayed in there for at least a good 15 minutes, then called through the door to the lady at the desk, "Hey, there's no toilet paper in here." Guess that got them really worked up and they were banging on the door to tell her that the bathrooms were at the front of the store. Laney unlocked the door and ran for it. She said that she hid in a clothes rack and watched them actually go into the room to see if any thing was 'left behind'.

I just know the best people, don't I? Sometimes I think this place couldn't get anymore screwed up, and then Laney proves me wrong.
