Yes, I fianlly saw WALL-E. And it was wonderful! It pretty much had it all - great graphics, an adorable storyline, an ADORABLE star (I could barely keep from going 'cuuuuuuuuute!' in the middle of the movie theater) and to top it all off, an inspirational message. It was so frikin moving when the captain of the space ship went, "But it's OUR HOME! And it's in trouble!" I feel like a destructive fatass. But it was a good movie, nontheless And the ending was such a cutie pie!! ^_^ I love the way robots kiss.

I'm reading Twilight now.. I know, but I just had to. It's like, everywhere I go someone's talking about it, especially now with the movie coming out in December. So I asked my dad for it (he got back from London again a couple of days ago) and I started reading it... And I was up all night with it I was done with it by the next day. It was so great!! Like all of the female readers, I fell in love with Edward and read the book all over again just for him. And no, I won't be reading New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn, cause I read the plots for them on Wikipedia (I couldn't resist) and they were totally off the wagon, if you know what I mean. I have no interest in going depressed or upset or enraged because of those books so... Goodbye, Twilight, at least until Midnight Sun Can't wait for that one!! And the movie!! Oh my!!!

And finally, a little treat for kitty lovers (is there anyone out there who isn't? 0_o): [link]

Thank you for reading,
me.

Well, hi... Haven't been around in a while. And I have some small news. One-
SUMMER VACATION!!! HOORAY!!!! Two-
I am bored off my ass. So I will be dividing my days between being here and reading Interview with a Vampire.

Anyway... I'm trying to get a subscription soon, if I can get enough money for it. Hopefully, I will get a subscription and be able to use all those cool subscription features. Including styling this journal, which I can't wait to do...

By the way, I am trying to get into a fantasy art club called Enchanted Forest. The icon is down here, so if you want to join, feel free to check out the guidelines. Also, if you are members of any cool clubs, let me know - I'm trying to get connected with the community more, and clubs are a great way to do it.

Some new clubs I'm getting (hopefully) into:

Love, me.

PS. That stupid mood thing is STILL stuck on gloomy!!! WTF? It's been like two weeks! I am NOT gloomy at the moment. I'm actually quite chipper. Keep that in mind.

Tommorow is the last day I can enjoy freedom before three grueling (sp?) days of summer school. But, I also have some good news for whoever's reading this...
Today, I was gazing longingly at the pictures in =Cataclysm-X's gallery and decided I wanna try too... So, I read up on some tutorials of hers and yanked out a very old Cosmo from my desk. Copying shamelessly from a Maybelinea ad and some elements of a drawing of the aforementioned drawing genius, creating my first (ok, second, but the first one was horrendus) drawing which I actually put some work into. It doesn't look anything like the actual model, but it came out okay... at least for a first try. I had a really hard time with the lips and the hair and the shading (though I surprised myself with how great the eyes and the neck and the nose turned out), but eventually it worked out and it came out semi-pretty. I'll be uploading it as soon as I get some feedback from close friends and scan the sucker up. I suck at scanning, so it'll take a while...
Well, thank you, Cataclysm-X. We here at the DeviantArt drawing-retard group all love you!
Now I have to get back to the most boring footbal game ever - it's been 115 goddamn minutes and NO GOALS!!! Come ON!!! Even though Portugal lost yesterday (oh dang) it was a fabulous game!!! How huge is 3:2? How incredible is that??
Expect more (and a cute drawing actually signed with MY initials) soon,
Love, me.
p.s.
In the three minutes since I just wrote that footbal part, each of the teams slipped in a goal and the game ended in a tie (1:1) between Croatia and Turkey. Dang. I was rooting for Croatia...
Also, ignore the mood below... I'm not gloomy, the bastard just got stuck on it.
p.p.s
CRAP! Penalties!
TURKEY WON! Oh goshadarnit! Oh gully! Oh FUCK!
Well, I'll trot off to bed now... goodnight.

And here it is... my first update in about a month. And school is OUT, suckers!! I now have TWO AND A HALF MONTHS of blissfully uninterrupted freedom to hang out with my friends and sleep for more than four hours a night.
But wait... It can't be that good, can it? Is that something I see in the horizon? No... It can't be...
SUMMER SCHOOL! No!! RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!!!
Yes. It's true. My school has decided recently that my year did not manage to learn all of the required material in math this year, and that to learn productively next year, we will be forced to attend three days of four straight hours (each!!) at school. And my friends are all in a different group! How awful is that?!?!?!
Though, I have to admit, today was pretty cool. Since it was the last day, we were all wearing our usual clothes and not the baggy uniform they make us wear, so I got to show off my tank top And there was this hilarious thing where they made this contest thingy, about which class in our year was the most disciplined.. And since we have this ' pink page great, yellow page good, white page horrible' system to notify our parents how we're doing, they counted off who had the least white pages throughout the whole year... So my teacher is with us in the assembly and she's writing on a board which class got how many white pages, and the average was like 80 or 90... and finally she gets to our class, and it's 166. The minute she wrote that down our whole class just rolled around laughing... We could barely contain ourselves!!
My report card turned out pretty good. 2 100s. most of it turned out like 95 or 90. Yes, I'm a nerd... But at least I'm not thrilled about Summer School. Some kids actually CAN'T WAIT for it... weird.
Summer School. Blech.
Expect more soon, Love,
Me.

I highly recommend some of these great artists that have recently (or a long time ago, but who's counting) entred my favourites:
- well, everyone knows her, and everyone loves her. You should check her out. She rules.
- Her comics made me slurp juice all over my desk. I love Maria!!
- She's just incredible. I can't get enough of her, she just rocks my world And her English is a lot better than she thinks it is, just for the record.
- She just made a comeback after a long absence, and she really compensated I love all of her works, they're brilliant.
- Though she's not a conventional artist, her cakes should definitely be in a gallery somewhere I would literally eat her gallery up. No, literally.
- Her sketches and her little cake jewelery are marvelous... I got engulfed in her gallery and couldn't get out.
- Her art is consisted of the cutest things I have seen in quite a while. Her use of color is just spectacular, as I have pointed out to her like a gazillion times.
- You can just eat all of her little animal art up. I really appreciated her Bill and Fleur obsession, and especially her gift for very sexy love scenes...
- Her art is mindblowing and amazing. Spectacular artist.

So that's it for now. Of course, there are so many great artists I didn't mention, but I felt like this is enough for now. Of course, all artists will be notified <img src="http://e.deviantart.com/emot...

Well, here I am, listening to Pottercast, and I realize I have not updated my journal in ever so, on the background of Horcrux discussions, I will bring anyone who is reading up to date about current events:
1. I have re-developed a Potter obsession. If you read anything I might write in this journal, beware: it might be Potter stuff.
2. Have bought new earpieces, and they hurt my ears so bad If only my housekeeper hadn't have misplaced my old little earpiece pads, I might have been spared. Grrrr!
3. I am trying to read serious books. Have purchased Brick Lane, by Monica Ali, to try and be more political. SOLD was pretty good, though, so this can't be that bad, right? (scroll down for a list of highly recommended books I've read recently)
4. I am working a comic about Marie Anotientte and her famous quote, 'Let them eat cake'. It might turn out so sucky, I will hide my face in shame, but at least it's something to do other than mull over Harry and Ginny's children, for God's sake!!
5. Big history test coming up, and if that wasn't bad enough, it has to be about 1950's politicians. Shoot me now, please...
6. My cat has left grey fur all over my new, black, beautiful jeans. I'd be so mad at him if he wasn't so adorable when he was snoozing in my lap. Of course, there's that fact that he likes to crawl into my closet and leave fur on all of my clothes, but for what it's worth, I love him anyway.
7. Just watched Predator (you know, the original one) and it freaked the hell out of me. If Arnold Schwarzenegger wasn't in there, with his arms and his mud-covered pecks, I swear I would I have switched it off the second that thing started skinning people and one of the guys went 'I know it's dangerous, Dutch. But I owe it to my men." I mean, come ON!
8. In addition to my Potter-fixation, I have also grown a strange obsession with the play Equus. And not even for Daniel Radcliffe (in the nude)! It just sounds so good!!
OK, so that's the news.

Here's some books you might like to consider reading (I haven't included Harry Potter, becasue if I would, I would grow consistently more pathetic as the night wears off):
*Wicked by Gregory Maguire: You may have heard about the play "Wicked", that is now in countless theatres all over the UK and the US. Well, this is the base for it, and the two could not be more different. An enthralling fantasy story, laced with murder, torture and highly juicy love affairs, and, of course, a lovable yet psychotic protagonist with a slutty mother and an ignorent, supposedly gay father, makes this book incredible... And later there's that whole thing where you start to recognize Wizard of Oz everywhere, and that's just cool, and the parts where Elphaba becomes insane are highly enjoyable too.
*Memoirs of a Geisha, by Arthur Golden: Everybody and their sister have read this book, but if you haven't, then go and get it now. This is the story about a 9-year-old Japanese girl who is sold to become a Geisha in the years preceding the war. She is seperated from her sister and is forced to lead a cruel, frustrating life. This book is drowned in witty metaphors, political, highly amusing manipulations used very subtly by women to get what they want, and very moving and interesting in the same time. Also, if you thing Geisha are prostitutes, you are SORELY mistaken. I have even learned how to set Geisha from whores from this book, and some other parts of it were just as informative. Read it now!!
*Brick Lane, by Monica Ali: I haven't read much of this book yet, but it's already proved itself difficult to put down. Just as moving as Memoirs of a Geisha, and very amusing and sweet in the same toke. The amount of critical acclaim for this book is not misleading - it is truly spectacular, or at least from what I've read so far.

Books NOT to read:
*Allie Finkle's Rules for Girls, by Meg Cabot: Seriously. Just, no. Meg, what have you done? What have you done?
*You, Maybe, by Rachel Vail: Nobody wants to read about some slutty high school girl with some psychotic complex that can only be solved with three years of therapy and three daily pills of Lithium, unless it has a happy ending. And this one does NOT. Also, this book is strange. It doesn't seem like Rachel Vail knows anything about writing or men, frankly. Seriously, just... Do not read it. It is not good. (Sorry Rachel, I just had to say this).
*Prom Nights from Hell, by various: Except for Cabot's story, this book is just all about (stupid) British idioms used incorrectly and uterus fluids. Seriously, bad. But it had bowling, so at least that was less awful. Bowling in a ballgown. ALRIGHT!!!

Okay, sorry about this. If yo...
