Um quick apology for not being on dA as much. Yes I know it's summer but I've actually been pretty busy! Plus also since a CERTAIN BOOK came out, I'm looking through it to get some quotes for more icons!

Ok. That out of the way..

FINALLY.

B R E A K I N G.

I was so excited! *squeal*
As you know, the midnight release party for the last and FINAL book of the Twilight Saga was a couple of days ago. Of course, I went.

Obviously.

And got the book! Since it was a walk-in party and you only had to reserve Breaking Dawn to come, the store was packed. There were hundreds of people (literally!) and when it was time to get in line to actually buy it, there were those who had to wait outside. *coughMEcough* 8D

Anyway, I read it the next morning since I practically dropped dead the moment I came home. And let me tell you, the book does NOT a disappointment. I'd give it 5/5 STARS.



Haha of course, I'm probably biased and all, but who cares, right? :]

<sub>Ok. Be sure you have read Breaking Dawn before you read this unless of course, you just want to know what happens. ^^ One more warning. Below ARE spoilers, k?

Other than that: can you believe what happens?! I thought it was awfully sweet how everyone ends up together. Bella and Edward. Jacob and Renesmee. When I first read how Bella was pregnant w/ Edward I was totally devasted. Even more so when I read that one line "She was even more beautiful than her father." Bcuz I automatically think that Edward's love would be split and he wouldn't be smitten with Bella anymore! And after seeing those two together in a lovey-dovey romance with each other for three books it took some time to get used to. Of course, everything resolved itself and Bella/Edward forever and I was ok when I finished.

Another thing that got me mad was when Jacob was happy in the end...! Ok, so I don't totally hate him or anything (I am actually pretty tolerant of him at the end of the book!) but I kinda wished there was more plot action for the love triangle. Plus, kinda random, but I love the name Renesmee. I just think it's a great way of combining Renee and Esme and it's really unique!

Those were probably the greatest twists in the story, besides the action at the end. Thank you Stephenie Meyer! (:</sub>

I'm guessing you've already got your own personal copy of Breaking Dawn, and if not, go buy one! It's totally amazing, all though the popularity of the Twilight Series is a love/hate thing for me. For one, I started reading Twilight before it got blown up by Hollywood by making a movie out of it, and also before so many people got too carried away with it. Obsession much?

For myself personally, I love the series (and Edward!) but I don't thnk about it 24/7 or anything. (;

Ok, so I found this anime/manga called Katekyo Hitman Reborn! from ~crowofwonka and ever since, I've been H.O.O.K.E.D. on it! Lyk, seriously. I've finished all the episodes AND manga chapters by now (1 week) and I can't wait for the next episode/manga! Ok, if you don't know the series, I suggest that you look it up on Wikipedia ASAP! (Oh, look... the link is conveniently there! Maybe I should check it out... *hint hint*)

More information about it: So far, there's a total of 79 episodes (subbed) and 191 manga chapters (subbed). There are four arcs in all: Daiy Life Arc, Kokuyo Gang Arc, Varia Arc, and Future Arc.

I believe you should (for manga) read chapter 1-15 for a taste of the Daily Life Arc and immediately skip to chapter 60 (beginning the Kokuyo Gang Arc). And don't worry about the chapters you miss, either. they're just useless chapters about pointless comedy that scares off any potential fans. Trust me, chapter 60+ is where there's real action.
Same for the anime: watch episodes 1-5 and skip to episode 20 for the Kokuyo Gang Arc.

The book, Gone With the Wind, by Margaret Mitchell is now officially my favorite book. Yup. The Twilight series will probably become my fav. again when the next book comes out, but for now it's got to be GWtW. It's such a wonderful novel full of romance and intrigue!

I highly reccomend this book to people of all ages if they like romance books! ITS AWESOME I TELL YOU. Ok, it's about this spoiled and vain girl name Scarlett whose life changes forever when the war comes and changes the world around her. Um. I suck at summaries but just read it.

I think Margaret portrays the characters in the book very well, and can fully imagin these people as real humans. The heroine, (sorta), Scarlett, is concieted like many girls these days inside their heads. She is headstrong and independant, which unfortunately doesn't fit the status quo back then. It is written in 1963 so there ARE some words that might offend some people but READ IT.

I'm currently reading Scarlett: The Sequel to Margeret Mitchell's Gone With the Wind, by Alexandra Ripley. At the end of GWtW, it leaves us off with a kind of cliffhanger (this doesn't count as a spoiler!) and so, it was supposed to bear a sequel. HOWEVER! Margaret died (I think, something like that) before she was able to write it, so Alexandra takes on the job where she left off, chosen my Mitchell's family. (Plus, there's the third book, Rhett Butler's People by I forgot who, that recently came out in the USA.)

I bet Alexandra studied a LOT of History and read and re-read GWtW over and over to continue Margaret's story. Even though I admire her for her determination, when I started reading Scarlett I can immediately tell it's by a different person. The thing is, no one can copy another's writing style, so unfortunately Scarlett isn't as good as GWtW. (So far. I just started reading it.) If you want to know what happens after GWtW, go ahead and read it, just like me. ^^

Movie

Just finished watching the 4-hour long movie! Yay! It was spectacular! (BTW, I watched one in color.) It followed the plotline of the book magnifigantly and just...wow. I loved it! All the characters looked like their book characters, and how I imagined them in my head. How did they get such great actors, anyhow? Everybody just looked so like THEM from the book!! Awesomness! X3

*wistful sigh* Now I know what it was like back then, and I must say, besides the part where you cut off ppl's legs w/o any numbing stuff (o.0 That part got me all...ew.), I actually liked it. Just imagine, you're all young and carefree, and get to wear these fanciful dresses, and flirt w/ boys like, 24/7. XD You don't have to go to school, for goodness's sake! How great is THAT?! I SO wish that I could've at least experienced that time era. A lot of ppl say that our generation is lucky bcuz of our new technology and stuff, but don't you think life back then was, well, so much simpler? "Not a care in the world." That's how it was when Scarlett lived.

Oh, yeah. "Frankly, my dear, I don't give a dam." Lmao.

Well, yesterday I went to Disneyland with my band. (I play the Flute. ^^) It was like, so cool! We get to skip school and since we went on a Thursday, basically nobody was there! There was like, no lines at Disneyland and I got to ride Space Mountain four times in a row! (And a whole bunch of others, too!) OMG. It was awesome. = )

Plus, it was from about 7 AM - 8 PM so when I went on my last ride, the Indiana Jones one, we got stuck. There was like, a glitch and the whole freakin' ride stopped and I was all scared, (it was really creepy...) bcuz we stopped at the part where the guy, was dangling from a rope in front of us. o.0 Oh, well. XD The ppl turned on the lights and we got to walk out of there and got to see how they made the stuff and stuff. It was so cool!

Um. Yeah. That's about it.

Are you know adequately warned? (BTW, the following is indeed a rant. X3)

Well... I just finished all of the Death Note episodes, (thanks to ~notemoperson for nagging me to watch it,) and was just wondering about Light-- do you think he is guilty and deserves death (like he did) or should he have beaten Near and won?

I have heard from many people that in their opinion the ending of Death Note "sucked", just because Light had been found out as Kira and died. I, myself, thought it appropriate that Light had died, even though it was sad. I pity him, but he has done wrong to many people who trusted him and betrayed them in ways that are not morally right. He had killed L and didn't even bat an eye when L had told Light he was his friend. Additionally, Light purposely used Misa's love and Rem's feelings against themselves and manipulated their actions.

What he did throughout the anime was rather cruel and clandestine, but he did all that to in the name of what he believed. Can we really blame him for that? Is it really his fault that he was delusional and followed in ideals that weren't viewed right by other people's perspectives? I do not feel sympathy about his death, but pity. He should have at least faced his defeat from Near with a calm attitude; but, like L had said, Light had a strong will to win. And when he loses, he does some petty things. He probably just couldn't believe he had lost to someone; he went beserk and ended up with Matsuda shooting him and Ryuk (in a way) mercy-killing him. In the end, Light will be remembered not as Kira who judged criminals, but one who was chasing an illosury dream of a new world.

This is about 2 hours late bcuz I just got back from a party from my friend's house. It was rather... hectic. Fun, though! I got to spend it w/ my family and friends!! ^^ I'm hoping to get a fresh start this year, and practice writing -08 for the date.

It's just too bad we're not privy to a deeper side of her since her screen time is taken up by her Lulu obsession. (Obviously, tho, I love him more! <3)

The perky and slightly perverted president of student council, Milly is a pro at throwing wild events in the name of the council. She's a terrible tease-often remarking on Shirley's bustiness. Her lineage, the Ashfords, have been knocked down several notches for their relationship with the late Empress Lamperouge, but they're looking to rebuild their social status through marriage-you'll never guess who the arranged interest for Milly is!

I say, "crush," because Nina blushes at the mention of Euphemia-it's the only same-sex connotation that you'll seee in Code Geass. All jokes aside, Nina's grandfather had once built Knightmares for the Ashford family.

- Jeremiah Gottwald -

The first high-ranking official to fall under Lelouche's cunning. Jeremiah is a purist elite Knightmare pilot of the Sutherland and at first meeting with Lelouche, a margrave (military governor) of Area 11 who commands battle formation. Watch as he falls from the ranks as a result of being under the influence of the Geass.

- Viletta Nu -

Jeremiah's single, more level-headed, loyal right-hand. She's a Knight who pilots the Sutherland, and supports Jeremiah even after his fall from favour because she is the only one who believes in Jeremiah's story after Lelouch used the Geass on him. Viletta aspires to gain the title of nobility and has come dangerously close to apprehending Zero for that purpose.

- Lloyd Asplund -

The pinnacle of mad scientists everywhere. Lloyd is, in fact, pretty mad. His playful and often inapporpriately cheerful demeanor lends to his passion of Knightmare engineering. Lloyd is not exactly the aptly social type, and jumps at the opportunity to gather data on his creation, the Lancelot, despite the pinch of the situation and altogether without consideration of Suzaku.

Cecil is Lloyd's assistant and she couldn't be more polar opposite to her superior. Code Geass Plot Summary

On August 10th, 2010, a.t.b., the Holy Empire of Britannia overpowered Japanese forces and conquered the country with their robotic weapons, the Knightmare Frames, in less than a month. Japan lost its freedom and rights and was renamed Area 11. The Japanese people, renamed as "Elevens", were forced to survive in ghettos, while Britannians lived in first-class settlements. Rebel elements persisted, however, as pockets of Japanese organizations who struggled against the Empire for the independence of Japan.

After his father, the Emperor of Britannia, did nothing to pursue the terrorists who murdered his mother and crippled his sister, the young boy named Lelouch vowed to destroy Britannia. Seven years later, in Area 11, he encounters a mysterious girl who gives him the power of Geass. With it, he finally has the power that he needs to defeat Britannia and fulfill his two wishes: to seek revenge for his mother and to construct a world in which his beloved sister can live happily.

Recommendation

I highly recommend Code Geass for everybody! It is a very good anime with many plot twists despite the fact that it is owned by Sunrise, who released the disaster that was Gundam Seed. This anime keeps you on the edge of your seat and will urge you to keep watching the next episode and then the next one after that. Code Geass also has brilliant cliff-hangers and the one at the end of Season 1 will leave you with your mouth open! Sunrise better add Season 2 before we all lose our minds!!

I want lots of stuff but I can't. Which suxs.

Yes, I am not usually THIS violent, but they're so mean! I mean really REALLY mean! I feel so sad/mad! They are such... [sigh]. Boys. They don't care one bit that they're hurting someone's feelings and like, I'm feeling very MURDEROUS.

I wouldn't kill them, though. Because then my parents would ground me.

Nana's Everyday Life: Click this [link]

It's this comic strip called Nana's Everyday Life that's about (whaddya know?) Nana's everyday life. It is really funny in a horror-y sort of way. The ending is sad, (made me cry a bit!) tho the person who created the comic finished it off beautifully. You need to know 'bout Elfen Lied/Nana to understand and it'll take only a few min. to read. (BTW, it contains a bit of Gunslinger Girl, but don't worry if you've never seen the anime. Still check it out.)
