Every time I think I've got a good thing going it starts to get weird... creepy....whatever. But seriously am I to be plagued by horribly strange boys for my ENTIRE life? Third!!!!! Well as some of you may know, I'm going to France this summer, for those of you who don't know. I'M GOING TO FRANCE THIS SUMMER!!! I'm soooo excited! I leave on saturday (June 28) and I can't wait! Its an exchange program (sort of, my french girl failed some classes so her parents wouldn't let her come here but I still get to go stay with her) and the girl I'm staying with has TEN horses. So I had a GREAT time it was warm and sunny and I even got a little tan (well really tan for me). The beach was AWESOME even though I couldn't really go swimming because there was a large storm off the coast for most of the week. I did play in the 10 foot waves on Thursday though. I was COVERED in sand and knocked over a lot but it was SOOOOO much fun! The coolest thing by far was the shark though! I got pictures too! It was wicked! I'll post some of the pictures from the trip but not all of them cause theres A LOT XD.

Entomophobia-the fear of insects.

Prologue
It was dark and dank, like always in the large cave their captors’ considered a cell. The floor was rough and slick and the ceilings roared high above with stalactites and grim. Soft voices bounced off the crumbling walls and the smell of ammonia and feces was strong. Every head turned in the dim light as the horrid sound of metal on metal echoed from the heavy door. Everyone tensed as the key turned and the lock clicked. The sound of heavy boots fell hard on the slick floor. From the other side of the cave a woman sobbed loudly a scream echoing around them making the hairs on the backs of their necks stand on end. A cold skeletal hand clasped around the room silencing all sound but the woman’s sob. The wide red eyes followed the dark soldiers as they dragged the woman from their presence.

The only class that isn't exactly rocking yet (besides Alegbra 2 blech XP math) is band. I'm nott so sure about it yet. During class the teacher acts like my friend and I are awesome but outside he doesn't. He told the symphonic band that one of the other girls was in charge and if that didn't work out that the section leader of the flutes there would be ours too. If you follow that at all I give you kudos. Ignore my ranting now.

Now onto the serious bad news. My older brother leaves for college tomorrow......We're pretty close, though it doesn't seem that way. I got off the computer earlier and I practically packed the entire car (he was out with his friends) I had to do it because I needed to do SOMETHING other wise I would've become a hopeless mess. I had some ice cream then hauled things everything except the tv. And DAMN his office supplies bin was HEAVY. But I can't go with them tomorrow because the cars too full and thats saying something seeing as the "car" is a suburban.(HONKIN' CAR its like a frickin bus)

Also, did anyone see the fucking EPIC red sox game tonight? History was made! First Boston rookie to ever pitch a no hitter! Go Buchholz! He's my new hero especially because he HAS to be like 15 or something he doesn't even look old enough to shave nevertheless pitch a no hitter in the majors! He rocked, and well so did Cocoa and Pedroia awesome game.....

My pool is open and we FINALLY have a new solar cover for it. (Our old one dissinigrated last year) Its been on for like 2 days but it hasn't really helped cause its been rainy and cold.

In other news, the horses are good, except my pony. Bayzil (the horse I'm training currently) pretty much attacked her and the quarter lateral o her left hind hoof wall was sliced away from her and you could put your hand between her and the hoof. It's really horrible and shes in a ton of pain.

Expect some really nice pics of Bayzil and me soon though. He's turning out BEAUTIFULLY I'm so proud of him. Its a shame he's for sale.... I hope whoever buys him loves him as much as I do.He's a really good horse and he rides great, we're still working out some kinks.

Um... life sucks...... MArching band is great though We've won first the past three weeks in a row! We're undefeated! Next saturday is States o.o I'm a bit nervous. We have to shows in one day, ther're both far away.... *sigh*

Art is uh dull right now.... i hate Chalk pastel, so i have been working with oils, after a loooong discusion with my teahcer... she wanted me to use theem differently then i normally do but i've fallen back on my style so nyah!

My art classes have started up again, we're working with chalk pastels and we're studying fauvism. I hate it!

Earlier this week when i was lunging Bayzil he got spooked and took off. He dragged me halfway across the ring on my stomach before riping the nylon lungeline out of my hands. I have some burns and cuts all over my hands. I wasn't wearing gloves >.< the worst part was i had to cram my sore hands into my too-small riding gloves and ride....-.-;; they still hurt pretty bad but i have to suck it up.....

so here goes i have to do twenty >>

1. When i was younger i drew on EVERYHTING napkins, placemats everything now i only draw in my sketch book or on computer paper

2. I used to draw horses like big circles on stick legs and they always had a huge smle on their faces >>

3. um well recently i can only draw a good picture when i have a specific song lyric that catches the mood of the pic that i want

4. i am the world's messyest painter when i work on paintings i end up with paint EVERYWHERE on my legs on my face the floor.

5. i'm obbsessive over shading and i could sit there and shade grayscale for HOURS on end.

6. when i have ideas for a drawing half the time i can't draw it for like months after i had the idea and then nobody cares >>

7. ummm.... painting is my favorite medium and when i paint half the time i dont shade until its mostly done

8. i focus mostly on eyes when i'm painting or when i'm drawing

9. Half the time i just sit and draw different styles of eyes

10. its easier to draw and stuff during school and i still cant figure out why

11. last summer when i was bored i drew a picture of my friends dog Duce that happend to be my background at the time and it came out super awesome, and now i cant seem to draw like that anymore.

12. i cant draw hands..... at all.....

15. i was very against digital art then i got photoshop and found the sketcher

16. i hadnt drawn horses in AGES then i went on the sketcher and the only thing i could draw was horses

17. uhhh....... i'm working on an illustrating project for actually reworking because my drawin style has changed since the first few pictures i drew for her book

I've worked some on my painting project and have found my hand in drawing in my sketch book again, thank god! I have some things to post but i might not be ablke to post 'em 'till i get back. Sorry.

I'm holding a small adoption of characters for the . There are 2 lion characters that have been made by my younger siblings. They are all set they really just need roleplayers. This is a strictly a Pride adoption because these characters were specifically made for the role playing purpose.

the charcater will have:
Name,
Symbol,
Sex,
Age,
Mark,
Any Unique Traits,
A Back Story and,
Any personality traits that they have chosen.
They will be relatively developed characters ((sorry)) but they can be changed in slight ways.

The adoption process will be as follows:
Once i have posted they're pictures on dA anyone and everyone in the pride who is interested will draw a picture of they're chosen lion. You will NOTE me with a link to your picture, and i will judge based on how many entries there are. Once I have chosen i will anounce who has won the character and they will get full rights to role play and draw them as they please.
The only thing i ask is there are VERY minimal changes in they're design/personality/backstory.

In about a week i'm going on vaca, will be gone about a week starting the 4th of August. then i'll be around but not much due to marching band camp >.< 9 a.m.-5 p.m. everyday untill school starts

in other news, i have been a bit unhappy with my art recently. so to hopefully make all well again, i grabbed some paint and a rather large piece of plywood and started a big painting project. the plywood is about 4ft by 28in. and its imple craft paint, but i've barely started and i'm already happy with it. i'll post some in progress pics eventually.

I have recently become only SLIGHTLY addicted to the Sketcher at artgrounds.com. It's really cool, and fun! so expect to see my sketches from there when i get around to posting them >.<

I have almost finished a ref sheet of my Fursona, Pet. All i need to do is color it and i havent gotten up the energy to actually do it yet X.X i have drawn multiple sketches of him and i like a couple, they will als be posted eventually.

As most of you have seen, i havent done equine art in quite a while but since i've been on the sketcher that has changed seeing as horses are about the only thing i can draw on the sketcher o.0 Expect to see my horse sketches as i edit them in photoshop.

Life is boring, its hot and i've been really lazy. Nothing has really happend... yesterday on the sketcher there was a spammer and he was bannned along with his friend who was flipping out at Mazbourne. luckily none of my art was ruined during the persons spamming.

So, im STILL working on my trade with Its proving harder than i anticipated... IM SOOO SORRY WINTER! i dont have constant time on the comp so its been hard to finish coloring. Im having bit of trouble getting my trade with started. I just have NO inspiration........ I'm gonna pull some ref sheets and try again. Other art news: i've been working on two ref sheets for a recent rp that im doing. No i'm not making a new charrie. I'm reffing Aisu and Predator because you all need to meet them better ((as in their true forms)) they should be done soon..... i finished most the drawing today.

I got some help from on how to get through photoshop and stuff and this project is making me excited! its comin out good so far, but if anyone knows any background lighting tutorials that are easy to understand that would be great.
