Just thought I'd give an update since it's been a whole month. I'm doing fine, still drawing a little but still not very motivated to do much unfortunately ;_;
I still log on though and try to comment and look at peoples work as much as I can of course.

OK we have just returned from Canberra and I'm so tired -_- zzzz But I have so much to tell but I will try and keep it all short

THURSDAY

Got up earlyish, ~Teh-ShadowMan went to pick up the hire car whilst I waited at home and made sure everything was packed. Well I waited over an hour and then gave him a call. Turns out his credit card didn't clear to pay for the car and ended up calling my mum to come down and charge it to hers So we didn't leave til 10:30am.
The trip in between wasn't too interesting. When we finally got into Canberra it was after 6pm and we didn't have a map I was relaxed and kept telling Shadow to go straight until we find a sign to get us to Deakin, he was panicking and wanted to stop somewhere to get a map We got there fine in the end.

So we book in, get our stuff in the room and decide to dine in their restaurant as we were under the impression that their prices were good (there was a menu in the room with decent prices). So we went down, turns out they are quite pricey but luckily we weren't that hungry and just ordered entrees. Shadow ordered chicken and ended up getting lamb He doesn't seem to have much luck! But he did get a free glass of wine for the mix up

FRIDAY

Friday Shadow wanted to do some shopping in Woden. So off we went to the shopping centre. The only thing I ended up buying were 2 tshirts for Shadow
After that I got bored and wanted to sightsee so we went to the War Memorial to take a look and take some photos.
After that we went back to the room to find that it had been tidied when we left the "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door -_- This actually happened for the duration we were there. They even tried it when we were in the room and didn't want to be disturbed! Can't ppl f**king read?!?!

SATURDAY

Finally the reason why we came to Canberra! To go to the National Zoo and meet a cheetah
So off we went. We arrived at about 11am and walked around until it was time. We waited at the king cheetah enclosure and got nervous as we were told to be there 15 mins early and the keepers didn't meet us there until just after 1pm. But it was all good. We got to pet Jama, their king cheetah and November who I think was Jamas sister? But it was great! They purred the whole time and felt nice and cuddly I didn't want to leave but we got some good photos
We then walked around for a little while longer and I dragged Shadow around to try and find *theperfectjez but to no avail ;_;

OK, it's confirmed, ~Teh-ShadowMan and I are going to be in Canberra early next month
We will be staying 3-4 days on the first weekend of May. I'm really excited about going to the zoo and meet cheetah's. We are going to pet the king cheetah, they named him Jama. . what kind of a name is that? I think I will just call him Indy ^-^
Another exciting thing about coming to Canberra is that we get to see *Zarafa and *theperfectjez and take photos by the lake I'm going to get so many great wildlife photos! ^-^

Also still working on pics slowly. My photoshop is being funny atm, I can't seem to get the pen tool working properly, it keeps making a new layer everytime I use it which is not what I want and I can't fix it ;_;

Finally a big thank you to those who have commented/faved my latest deviation Xel x Zel because I tried really hard on this one

Hello everybody. It has been almost 2 months since I've updated this journal.
I have been doing well with work and life, sorry about the lack of photos, I have been busy lately. I have officially moved in now with my baby ~Teh-ShadowMan I have been moving stuff over slowly, now we just need to move the big things such as the furniture But I am really happy now I get to be in his face 24/7
Also we are planning our trip to Canberra, that's right you heard me! Going to visit *Zarafa and *theperfectjez go to the zoo and the park where Zaffy takes her amazing pics!!!! I'm am so excited about meeting them and meeting cheetahs at the zoo We haven't planned a date just yet but we should be going down late April if possible
Other than that, all good, ya all

Now I meantioned a free subby in my title right? Well =astarsia is having a comp. So if any of you guys are good at making avs, then go see her latest journal and enter, there is not much time left though but I'll bet if you ask nicely, she may extend the comp

I had a really good Australia day. I went to Ocean Grove for the weekend with ~Teh-ShadowMan to visit the family. Whilst there we had celebrated our first anniversary of when we had first met in person and next week we celebrate a very special anniversary *rubs hands*
I have taken some nice photos on the trip, although I've only uploaded one so far and it's of a seagull

I am still slowly working on pics when I can, I've just finished the lineart of my latest (took bloody days).

Other than that, life has been good. Work still keeps me busy but I enjoy what I do.

Just wanted to give you all belated chrissy wishes and hope you have a great new years eve.
So what did everyone do for christmas this year? I just went for a family lunch and spent Christmas night with Shadow. Didn't get much this year besides what I bought for myself Mum got me Donnie Darko on DVD, I got $40 and a bar of soap. . they must think I smell or something
~Teh-ShadowMan bought me a pretty black dress which I and I bought myself anime DVD's and the new Canon 400D D-SLR I've played with it a bit but I haven't been out to take any photos yet ;_;

Anyhoo I'm toddling off now ^-^

Other than work I haven't been up to all that much. I bought a $400 68cm LG TV for my ~Teh-ShadowMan birthday which is next month. His TV died on him 2 weeks or so ago which to me was just as well because he really needed a new one anyway and that was one of the gifts I was considering getting him ^-^
Went out last Friday night to see a German DJ called Phace who totally rocked! Wasn't planning on staying the whole night because I had to work Saturday. . I ended up doing an all nighter. . it was worth it It took me 2 days to recover though

Oh and 2 more months until the Wii comes out here in OZ!
Anybody excited?

But it has been good. Had my first week of training and onto the second. Should be getting on the phones soon but I'm nervous and excited about it at the same time. Other than that, I went to the zoo yesterday for a devmeet, going to catch up with friends at Manifest this weekend and we shall see what else from there. My life seems to be getting more interesting by the day

One thing I don't like too much are the devious comments. I liked them how they were but now you can go back 5 pages to see previous messages which is cool.
All in all I'm glad they didn't change it too drastically and it's still easy to use

I got lots of nice gifts including $300 (hello digital camera!) a $50 coles/myer card, a nice top, a jigsaw puzzle, a 1985 mug among other great things. I was really happy to see and I got a nice decorated umbrella off of Asham and Azusa, thank you!
Everyone bought me alcohol as well which was nice but I didn't want to get too drunk ;_; I love long island ice tea!
Today I spent the day with ~Zed-sama we watched Howl's Moving Castle and I had Smudgley (a HUGE mastiff) on my lap all day long. I think he really missed me for some strange reason o.O Afterwards went to meet Shadow and had a nice dinner and played pool with some friends and got treated to some Franjelico (so nice). And now I am here on devart. .
