ah wells. i bought my first four-pack (legally) today- that was kinda dull, nowhere near as exciting as buying it illegally :/
i was bought a pint of Fosters down the pub after college today by my good friend Lee, good old Lee, here's a shout to you bro!

But the best thing about today has to be the gift Amanda sent to me. like, the absolute best card ever, with some notes, as well as all the originals of all the art she's drawn me

so yeah! today has been super awesome.

In other news i went back to college today, turned out to be more of an induction, so we were only in there for about two hours, which was class! so we all hung about for a bit, stole some free fruit from this buffet thing, then went down the pub!

and we don't go in tomorrow either, we've some kinda day off, but we do have our new timetable, so you wont be able to reach me during the day on the following: Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. however, only for a half day on friday, but i'll probs head round town for the rest of the day, though you may still be able to get me.

i have the be the luckiest person ever!

i woke up yesterday and loaded up firefox and clicked for my homepage (the-vanguard's general page) but before i get there, -bam- i win a free sub! But not for me! i forgot i left myself logged in as the club i'm currently in charge of... so the club got the sub and i didn't :\ i was a little dissapointed

BUT! i login today as me and win yet another sub! yess! this is the free sub i've always wanted!

other news includes:

we had a huge thunder storm a couple of weeks ago and ofcourse, i was outside watching it. little did i know i'd return to my computer to find a fried ADSL modem.. no there was no smoke, no sparks, nothing. i just couldn't get an ADSL signal. i spent a week or so calling everyone, BT, my service provider etc. only to finally be told to try someone else's modem which i did and it turns out the modem's gone... and it was only like three months old and cost something like £35
psh. so now i'm ordering another hopefully for monday.

i doubt many people will read this but bleh.

once again i've stumbled upon an absolutely awesome artist who only has 314 pageviews after 8 weeks, which is rediculous considering how good she is. i absolutely adore her art, her style is wonderful and her gallery really is stunning.

Not much to update you all with. we had the most awesome storm here tuesday night, we had purple bolt lightning, sheet lightning and deafening thunder cracks. wow. so intense. like no storm i've ever witnessed

in other news the storm totally wiped out three quaters of the ADSL network in my county, so my broadband has been, and still is.. disabled :/ which means reverting to my gay, slow, yet trusty 56k modem. which means i can actually speak to you all!

man it's late, and well, i know how much you all luurve reading my journals <3 so i forced myself into doing it. now i'm so tired i'm seeing double

anyways yesterday was 32 degrees C and was also very humid, i just sat about tipping cold water over myself.

we now have thunderstorms forecast, and flooding predicted. such a random country i live in. looking out the window now i see huge dark grey clouds and i hear the occasional rumble of thunder. i hope we get bolt lightning again, storms rock.

but hopefully i wont get another power cut, like i did with the last storm.

now i'm very bored though. i've another week at college and i'm free for the summer. bring it on i say!

in the mean time i'm working on sexy-ish anthros. i'm practicing different ideas and things. i'm now working on a sexy anthro bunny chick, don't worry, it's not yiff. just something ~onigrift suggested, i think people think all i can draw is dragons, so i'm attempting things i'd not normally do.

in other news, i've found one of the most under-recognised artists on DA, her pencil art is most excellent and her human drawing skills are absolutely amazing, her gallery is stunning. you have to take a look and leave a comment, right now!..

the weirdest thing happened to me at work this morning... i'm talking super weird.. this is the strangest thing that's ever happened to me...

My supervisor walked over to me and was hiding something brown under her sweater thing, and was like "hehe, what have you been ordering Alex" and i was like "what have I been ordering? :S huh?" and my friend laura went "what is it" and my supervisor goes "it's something he didn't want his mother to see " and i was like "huh?? wha?!" and laura went "what is it a DVD?" and my super produced this brown package... in the shape of a DVD case.. and i'm all "WTF?!? i haven't ordered anything S:S" and she was all "well it has your name on it"

and i hadn't ordered anything, so i have no idea where this thing came from. so i wait about till i get a quiet moment from customers and as i'm waiting about i'm like "omg omg omg what if some one has sent me porn as a joke" (i'm on a checkout). but i finally open it ...

and.....

it turns out to be Amstrad's Anniversary Edition

"WHAT........ THE........ HELL......"

this just made things even more confusing... and i'm like "WHAT?!"

i have absolutely NO idea why ANY one would:

1) send me THAT in the first place..

and 2) why they'd send it to where i work...

i mean WHO the hell would send me that

WHO the hell knows i work there

and why the hell would some one send me Amstrad's Anniversary Edition lol... i mean jeez... "The excitement, thrill and challenge of... PONG!" lol, not that it's a bad game.. but... WHY!!

if any one has any information on this at all please contact me!

so that was kinda the highlight of my day.. if not month..

also there was no return address and had three stamps on it.. which came to a total of 64p!

i refuse to install it, or even put the disk in my PC.. it could be some kinda Nuke Virus or something... my friend was like "do you have any arch enemies?".. lol.. my answer was "too many!"

ok.. first thing's first i guess... "Hello"

ok phew, glad that's out of the way...

now... it all started when i woke up this morning.. [large amounts of rambling may occur].. and i noticed the time was half 9 in the morning... that was kind of a bad sign seeing as i had to start work at Half 9 this very morning... so i was all "shit shit shit shit" rushed down the stairs and everything realised i left the budgie covered up... rushed back upstairs, right, now i'm all "omg omg shit, i wish i hadn't run up those stars". so now i'm back down stairs and i have to formulate a really neat excuse as to why i'm late... i call work and i go: "oh erm.. yea my mum (always blame your mum ) forgot to put my clock back.. or something so yea i'm gonna be a bit late..." so that went ok, they believed me and all.. so yay! Now i have to get ready and stuff, i didn't get to have breakfast so that was a real bummer... but to cut to the chase.. work was crappy and knackering as usuall.. got home, had to de-stress myself so i painted "Flight", that went well, listened to some chillin' tunes... *phew* all relaxed and chilled and everything suddenly !BOOM! your best ever clan for a year and a half has just disbanded for no reason... (my clan was called TFH or 'The Forgotten Heroes' [dont ask]) and we were like a family at the very begining, we were all really close... suddenly our 13 year old leader Taka decides to go against all my advice i'd given him, {i'd been in about 6-7 clans prior to TFH so i know a bit about what works etc} and began enlisting anyone and everyone... so a year on and we're full of people who rarely show up and people who act like children, Taka the leader just doesn't seem to care at all...the clan admin just doesn't show up any more, not sure why... but anyway i suddenly see all my best clan friend leaving and i spend something like 7 hours just ranting at them all trying to get them to reconsider staying and i'll sort Taka out again and everything but they are having none of it... and around 10:00 PM UK time i finally saw there was only one way out of this.. to chainsaw myself away from my loyalty and morals and just quit TFH... i guess i saw what my friends were saying was true... oh well... now i'm neither here or there... well what ever.. any way, now i have the head ache to kill all headaches and have to work on 7 scripts... Tal' the leader of the Dracten Mod for HL2 has asked me to do a revision of a revision of his revision of the first revision, i already did a revision of the first revision, but he revised the first revision by accident instead of my revision so now i have to do the first revision all over again.... i'm really begining to hate the word "Revision"... well here i am.. another day in which i forgot to order my damn wacom tablet and i only have two more days until saturday... which means another full on day of working at somerfield...

well, today i had to work, so that was a bummer, i missed my good mate's birthday drink.

well, still no luck on a scanner.. guess i'll just have to stockpile my artwork until either a scanner turns up or my Wacom Tablen, i should be ordering it tomorrow. i'm dead worried i'm gonna get the wrong one, or a rubbish one etc...
