Now, any who also follow my LJ might have noticed I haven't updated even there in a few months, and I do in fact have a reason.
Art- the day after I uploaded them to FA my laptop broke.
Internet slowness - broke laptop, college, and my internet being dead this week.

Not to mention I have in fact started college!

Yes, I'm an actual art student now It's interesting, fun but I'm a bit disheartened our first actual project is leaning heavily on futurism so far, but I noticed we have line and tone coming up and that's a favourite of mine

Poor Widor got a dodged water balloon to the face (Nightwind ducked, but that's who Draken was aiming for!) , Xiver had 'Just a try' of the wine (and drank most of the bottle with that try) while wearing a bright orange jumpsuit. We went off for food, a picnic was planned and then it rained, As usual. So myself, Draken, Neko, Graham/Lupus and Enteireh went to Nandos while almost everyone else went to Wokmania. Ours was superior >:3. After that we went back to twist, but me and Neko spent most of that time sitting on a bench with Xiver whilst he warned us about not trusting anyone who's favourite colour is white. Later he told us his favourite colour was white.
On Monday, less people, but this time we had Skippy who I hadn't seen in a while. We went to the Baltic, where I began feeling sick so me and kitteh slept on the childrens seats, scaring the children and pretty much everyone else away. We found a pub/bar that don't hate us! And it's not miles away from the station! And IT'S CHEAP!!!!! *Hallelujah!* Yes, so it looks like we've found a new gathering place

I've been fairly busy working on getting commissions done, it's going quite well.

I'm quite upset at not being able to go to RBW. They have changed the age required to 18 instead of 16, something I'm not too happy with after saying a lot to go :/

On the plus side, that money I've saved means I can get something I've wanted since last RBW, and something I was planning to buy this year.

Soooo, I somehow managed to watch three awesome things this weekend. I went on a sorta family day to Nando's (Favourite restaurant EVER!) and then we went to see What Happens In Vegas (I woulda gone to see Forgetting Sarah Marshell, but Betski is too young D: ). I honestly didn't think it'd be good, but it was awesome! The timing of all of the gags was perfect, and the ending still has me laughing! I was thinking of writing a fic based on it, with KibaSaku as the main pairing, NaruHina as a side. Any ideas?

Oooh, and I thought I'd missed Dr.Who yesterday, but my gran had taped it I'm sorta pissed since I thought their'd be Rose and the Daleks, and part of the ad spoiled some of this 2 part episode for me. So anyway, Ten and Donna are in the Library, where some little girl thinks it's her dream world. Shadow creatures be eating peoples, and this dumb ass girl dies after thanking Donna ;__;. I was creeped the fuck out. Is it odd that this affected me more than The Amityville Horror? Meh, anyway, it looks like Donna dies, and as it turns out, due to this fucking ad she will live, since she's seen in the Rose/Dalek episode. OH, and this bitch be stepping out trying to mah Ten. >: I think she's like his lover or something.

So, I was looking in a Neo mag or something, and flipped to the cosplay section. I FUCKIN LOL'D SO HARD. At first I thought I saw a Trucy Wright, then I spotted an Apollo next to Ema Skye, AND LOL'D. THEY WERE SUCH BAD COSPLAYERS I COULDN'T HELP IT. (To be fair, Apollo's hair was pretty cool) Then I spotted THEM. A line up of Naruto cosplayers. AND THE FAT KANKUROU. I laughed at that guy even when I'd put the mag down. HILARITY! (As a side note, do they get money for sending the shitty pics in? I'd send in my shitty cosplay for cash <3)

EDIT: Well, that was a fun way to spend my night. I got there at ten past eleven, and their was already about 80 people outside of Grainger Games. HOWEVAR, Eric, a friend of the family, was fifth in line, so me and my stepdad just jumped in with him. I spent the next hour playing Pokemon Diamond and Apollo Justice. Then got the game, bag, box, art book and cap and went homme. Then I slept.

DID I MENTION THIS GAME ISN'T MINE BUT MY SISTER'S LAWL?

Anyway, GTA4 is way overhyped. The nights are painful to play, the cars are hard to control, and some cheats block achievements on the 360 version (Not sure about the PS3). Still good, but just not as good as expected.

My favourite Fanfiction in progress, entitled "All That I Am xxFox,Demon,Human,Mexx" has been discontinued. Forever.

OMG NOOOOOOO

I love that fic, always will! With it's awesome, realistic NaruHina development, a fox Naruto, a unique storyline, and it's dashes of fluff and smut. Gawd, I just won't be able to re-read it without being sad that it never gets it's well deserved ending.
But, at the end of the day it's the author's decision. They created it and have the right to stop. I'm just saddened it had to happen to such an awesome fic.

To cheer myself up, I shall post all my Fanfic recs. Later.If you want to, post your own! I'm off to subscribe myself as well with Birthday money.

I liek just got my R4 for my DS. And Downloaded APOLLOOO JUSTIIICE!!!!!!!! I've waited for this game for liek a year. I think in about ten minutes I'll see Klavier, so I can ship Apollo/Klavier without feeling so guilty.
THE FIRST CASE WAS EPIC. HOBOPHOENIX IS SO AWESOME. HE OBJECTS WITH HIS RIGHT HAND, AND I TOTALLY WANT HIS HAT WHICH IS ON SALE.

Second, OMG!!!! I'm getting an electric Guitar for my 15th B-Day! It's pink

Third, Guitar Hero 3 is AWESOME. seriously. I've yet to complete medium mode though, and I tried 'Slow Ride' on Expert. DEAR GOD, WHO CAN STRETCH THEIR FINGERS LIKE THAT!?!?

Fourth, I found my old Game Boy Colour~ and played pokemon yellow and gained my first lvl 100 pokemon! Ohh, Nostalgia. That was my first ever game.

Fifth, I really hate NaruSaku more than usual right now. I dunno why, but expect some funny ANS quotes when I think my fingers won't fall off.

So, the Naruwards have been delayed til after crimbo. Poo.

And is it just me, or is the quality in fanfics rapidly decreasing? I don't go actively seeking out fanfics other than NaruHina, but the quality is really bad in most right now. I've found few I like that are recent, but some seem okay. I'm addicted to 'Blind', which is very well written, with a unique storyline, and the author also wrote a LinkXIlia post-twilight princess fic. 'A mothers love' is also good, with frequent updates, but it seems like a diamond in the rough.
Links to any good KibaShino/ShinoKiba fics are much appreciated. Most I've read are either poorly written, one-shots, or involve a horrific lemon. Or all three.

I seem to have ShinoKiba on the brain now. I'm sad it won't become canon.

He's best friends with the tiger-guy, Sam (Strype). I love them both. I created them YEARS ago. And they've changed so much.....I'm so proud! *sniff*.

Basically, it was like this:

Sometime in 2004/5:

Started writing random crappy stories. Invented Strype as part of a group. He was just STRYPE. No first name, just his nickname. Later invented DAN as a love interest for the main character (who was later scrapped, however Waves isn't single. I just never draw her...).

current Appearences: Strype had a scar which made his left eye half-closed. He coloured it black, and did the other one the match. His hair was short and spiky, messy and blood red. He had one black line running to the tip of every spike. Half tiger, with the ability to take the form of a tiger.
Dan only had a wolf form. He had one lock of wavy hair which fell down the center of his face, and the rest of his hair was in wavy spikes. His hair was pitch black, but his fur snow white. His tail was black-tipped. His human form was the same, minus the fur and tail. He had one piercing in his left ear.
Strype was loud, assertive, and loyal. Waves was shy, so shy that he would yelp in shock if someone touched him. Interestingly, his girlfriend was shy as well. Not as painfully shy as Waves, but she thought she knew HOW shy he was, so she knew what she should and should not do. By God, she was WRONG. It had hilarious consequences, but I unfortunately have no original writing or drawings of the couple interacting. Which is a shame.

After the pair were created, I never intended to do anything more with them. Throw them in the odd fanfic maybe, but nothing more. The pair slowly developed into their own personalities, with Strype becoming more subdued, but still as insane on the inside. His inner monologue was a fun sight to watch.
Waves was just as shy, but I realised I had a lot of plotholes regarding his past. Waves could come anywhere at any time, and his house was always empty. I never thought about it at the time, probably because I was too lazy to write a new family. And thus, a reason for Waves' shyness was spawned.

Anywho, anime-master14 gave me a link to Gimp. Of course, I'd never heard of it. Shows how in touch with art programmes I am..... So, I need practice with it. I started to colour gimme_back_my_pants, and Kisame came out lovely. However, kakashi was too small and intricate for me. Anime-master14 has been nice enough to allow me to colour and re-colour his pics as practice. I can't wait to colour them, because they have quite simple lines and few difficult details. However, he, for some reason, deleted his computer account (I have VERY bad luck. I give Maggey from PW a run for her money) so I'll go save some pics from his DA account.

Now, the reason I've named my journal entry 'Cosplay' is because I'm excited about, you guessed it, COSPLAY!!! For those who don't know, I frequently attempt to cosplay as Kakashi. Failing I might add. For the New Naruto manga's, me and Varijak are going in cosplay through Newcastle to pick them up. She's gonna be Hinata, and I'm Kakashi. Which is backwards, because she's MUCH taller than me. But I was on toysnjoys.com, and they have a sale on shuriken holsters and pouches, as well as an Icha Icha Violence Notebook. I'm buying them both, and hopefully a face mask as well. If I get the sandals, my cosplay would be complete. And we're gonna try to get my hair spiked.0.o. firegirl1414 may also be coming, but it's not confirmed.

Oh, and I was wondering if anyone knew where I could get a Pakkun putfit for my dog? He's a chihuahua. If not, anyone got any tips on how to make one?
