Awright, a mostly full-night's sleep has me ready to fix this godforsaken journal. DX


This week, I've had to send my trombone, Fortissimo, to the repir shop because it has a dent in it's tunins slide, which, in case you didn't know, is the WORST POSSIBLE PLACE TO HAVE A DENT other than the main slide. And the main slide is easier to move anyway. DX When the repair guy told me I had a dent in the tuning slide, I felt like I had been diagnosed with terminal cancer or something like that. D: It was terrible. And now I have to play a school-owned instrument. His name is Fred and he's an old Bach model, and he was so dusty the day I started playing him that the spit from the spitvalve came out grey. (ew!) Also, when I'm marching or moving around AT ALL with Fred, his tuning slide resets and I go really, exceedingly flat RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF PLAYING. DX He has the exact opposite problem Fortissimo has. Which was that the tuning slide didn't/couldn't move. Fred's moves TOO MUCH.
But we all (we meaning the girls in the trombone section) still love Fred. XD
And, if you think it's weird that we name our instruments, we think it's weird that yu listen to our rantfest. THERE!

School started, like, four weeks ago for me. It's been kinda funny watching all thes "School is Here!" journals when I'm doing my math homework or editing an essay for AP World Civ. XD

Also, I've started posting on my Fanfiction.Net account again. [link] I'm not posting the fics here because I like to keep my fanart and fanfiction seperate, but if you want to read them they're there.

And It was all my fault. I felt sick going back to the computer to try and make up for what I did for a week and a half, and I still get a sick feeling just thinking about it. If that person is reading this - which I very sincerely doubt they are - for the seventh time, NO, you are NOT my favorite artist, bit I still love you as a friend.
With more emo news, famous people have been dying a LOT this past week, Micheal Jackson being the most recent. I'm sad that he's dead and I'm sad for his family and fans, but GEEEZ people, shut up about the "toxicology reports" and the "autopsies" and ACCEPT that he's dead, not caring about the cause of deat because it's happened and nobody can take it back (*gasp* god forbid!), and HAVE A GODDAMN FUNERAL ALLFUKIN READY. When somebody dies, no matter how notorious, they should be put to rest in some shape or form, NOT PORED OVER BY DOCTORS AND SOMESUCH.

With some nicer news... I just came back from three days in DC and am saying with my grandparents in North Carolina. This past week has been amazing for me and my brother. I got an Obama T-shirt, a postcard for , and a new Arctic Fox plushie. :3 I will have to post a pic of my stuffed animals collection at some point, won't I?

Chapter ONe of my Jak and Ratchet comic has been done for about a week and a half. I just have to post the rest. I'm going to then go back and fix the linework and text and make it more of a pleasure for Jak and Ratchet fans to read.
I read a ouple of interesting books, too, the most notable of which was Frank Beddor's The Looking Glass Wars. I only got to read the first one, but it's an amazing book I think should be on every fantasy-lover's shelf. Why? HATTER MADIGAN, SEXY MILINNERY NINJA THAT KICKS ASS WITHOUT THINKNG ABOUT IT
Also, there's a Maximum Ride manga out now! I read the first one, and it's spectacular! Iggy is sooo cute in it. Especially when he and Gazzy blow up the Erasers with their homemade bomb.

On another note...
The Jak and Daxter game coming out this fall had me completely enthralled with the idea... until I heard that neither Micheal Erwin OR Max Casella were returning to do the voices of Jak and Daxter for this particular game. THat totally and completely ruined it for me. I'm probably still going to get it for the sake of a dying fandom, but only the PSP version. Watching and playing Jak II just made me want the game less.

However, the next Ratchet and Clank Future game sounds epic on so very many levels. According to the multiple descriptions I've heard about it, the plot, grapics and epic factor exceed my earlier expectations. At first I thought that the next game was gonna be a "Let's save Clank! 8D" type thing, but it's so much more epic that that. I'm not going to go into detail in case anyone reading this is allergic to spoilers, but I think this plot will pretty much wrap up the whole series.
I never thought the story of a furry mechanic and a robot who was a glitch in an assembly line could GET so epic... I want a PS3 sooo bad.
I wish NaughtyDog could go to such great lengths with the Jak and Daxter story.

I found my cameras from Disney! I'm gonna get all of them developed with two copies of each! That's gonna be over three hundred photographs, though...

Also, to epically celebrate Jak and Daxter and Ratchet and Clank, I'm taking one of my crossover fanfic ideas that I've had for a long time and I'm putting it in manga form! I'm making it take place just before Future: Tools of Destruction and The Lost Frontier. I've already gotten to page 6 of the first chapter and it's going awesome.

And just for anyone who's interested, I'm going to award a fully-colored commision of pretty much anything the winner wants for a kiriban (print screen) of my 2,900th pageview, my 3,000th pageview, and my 3,010th pageview. You have three cances to win!

(two of the days were actually getting there and back ) For an amusement park chain dedicated to cartoons, that was probably one of the most amazing places I've ever been to in my life! The rides were fun (especially the Pirates of the Carribean one), the shows were neat, and the light show and fireworks display I watched on the last day of our stay was fantastic. (To think that they do that every day... that is a shitload of fireworks!) I watched one of the live showings of Beauty and the Beast, followed by the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular show(that was for my brother - I took a bunch of pictures there). Also, after we performed that day, there was an awards ceremony and our band director got to shake hands with Mickey Mouse. :3
I took seven camera's worth of photos, and I haven't gotten them developed because I put them in a bag and lost them. I hope we managed to get them during the move...

Oh yeah! I moved in April. To a house a mile and a half away. Sounds easy, but it took us a few weeks to get it done. I got a really cute bed that's a sleigh-style daybed that's stained this really nice chocolate brown. :3

Another amazing thing: JAK AND DAXTER: THE LOST FRONTIER!!!1!1
I can't wait, It's gonna be epic. I'm gonna get both versions, and love every minute of both.

Besides that, nothing really spectacular has happened. I did, however, get hooked on Karl and Climber, two of 's charachters. (If I had to choose between the two of them, I might choose Climber. He's just so freggin' adorable. :3 )

I'm going to continue posting pages of Lillend, as soon as I get the first chapter drawn. (gawd, I hate expositions, they're such a bitch DX)

Er... Project: Ottsel Kingdom has run into a problem and is postponed until further notice. I'm in the middle of doing other things (plus, half of my Prismacolors have died in the past week) and its being a bitch, between school and said other projcts, to get the time to bring up the Model Viewer on Jak 3 and look at all of the Naughty Dog charachters.
I have a bunch of neat arts to show you all - it's just going to be a little while until I can get them uploaded. One of them is a redone version of Project: XIII, based on what I've played in Re: Chain of Memories.
Also; my brother and I are going to shoot spoofs for YouTube! Starting with a Ratchet and Clank spoof, we plan to make fun of anything and everything that we can. Here is an example from the draft of the KHII spoof.

I've beaten Okami and Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII, and they were AWESOME.
Except for the last bit of Crisis Core. The overkill of poor little Zack was NOT awesome!

I've spent all of my Fall Break making huge batches of peanut butter cookies from scratch. They're gone by the next day, though, no matter how many I make. All that cookie is gonna end up killing my brother, I swear...

OH! I was playing Crisis Core, and I noticed something when Zack changed his hairstyle.

HE LOOKS LIKE AXEL FROM THE SIDE! LOL!
RENO'S NOT HIS HEARTLESS! IT MUST BE ZACK! And I can prove it, too. :3
1. Both Zack and Axel have blond, emo people for best friends.
2. The hair. IT MUST BE THE HAIR!
3. Axel was a part of Organization XIII + died fighting Nobodies. Zack was part of SOLDIER and died fighting the ShinRa army. COINCIDENCE, I THNK NO.
4. Both of them took their deaths lightheartedly, ex Zack was smiling when he died, and Axel told Sora not to worry about his death too much...
5. They both have an immense armada of fangirls.
Need I say more?

Okami was awesome.
And I now officially am an Issun fangirl. He's just too dang cute. thinks so, too.
And I seem to be the only person among my Okami buddies (elfkin, os24 and soulfromtheabyss) who thinks Waka is awesome. Why?

Oh, and in other news, Ottsel Kingdom is proceeding nicely and parts 1, 2 & 3 should be done by Christmas.

I'm starting a side project as well where I draw a picture with all my favorite video game charachters in it. Easy, right?
Wrong.
This list includes Jak, Daxter, Ratchet, Clank, Sly, Sora, Roxas, Axel, Cloud, Vincent, and Riku, none of them pictured as ottsels. That's just one problem, though - the other one is how the hell I'm going to fit them all on the paper...

Oh yeah! My brother and I are going to film a spoof!

It's called Ratchet and Frank, a retarded parody of Ratchet and Clank with my brother playing two or three roles (Ratchet, Qwack/Qwark, Sly Cooper, ect...) and me playing X amount of roles, basically leaving Frank to be a robot-shaped box on Ratchet's back. :3 This thing's gonna be ingenious. If we're lucky, the first episode will be out a week or two after my birthday.

My birthday is on September 14th! I'm turning 14! *squee*
And my early birthday present to myself is the fact that I can draw Jak AND Axel now! So I drew Jak in what I think his Jak IV gear will be, and I drew Axel in a scene from one of my fanfics, totally kicking ass.
Next on the list is a perfect Sly (nearly there!) followed closely by Vincent Valentine and Demyx...

All right, because "Fit for a King" is being difficult, the official contest to choose the "Ottsel Ruler" begins now!

The goal you have to acheive to win this contest: design a throne that is worthy for the ruler of Ottsel Kingdom! The prize: YOU get to choose the King (or Queen XD) of Ottsel Kingdom AND you get a full-color request of pretty much anything you want from me. And that means ANYTHING. Well, anything EXCEPT "Innapropriate" pictures, and I do believe that you know what I mean by that. I have to draw the line somewhere.

I will judge the entries based on style, creativity, originality, and whether or not I can draw an ottsel sitting on it. In other news, school ended. :3 Yay. I got the highest grade in the class on my final exam - an 87 - while other people passed with 50's and 60's , and I STILL have to take this damn class over again in high school. I hate the system. If that test proves anything, it sure as hell proves that I know what I'm doing. Still, I kickes ass on those final exams.
And they were FINAL. As in NO MOAR! YAY!


And I got a hug. :3 Hugs are good.

I was playing KHII earlier today, on the level in Hollow Bastion where you have to fight Demyx.
Having to destroy those dang water forms are cheating. No fairs.
But the reacion command "Showstopper" was fun. He played a tune and I.. interrupted it. :3 Rather rudely. With Oathkeeper XD
When I beat the boss fight, it was kind of satisfying since I LOVEtrouncing bosses, but kind of sad, too, because I've become A Demyx fan. :3
Well, I know how he dies now. And it's kind of funny.

Those are the randomest last words ever. That's seroiusly what he says when you defeat him, right before he falls to his knees and fades away into darkness with a splash...

Away from the musiscian-killing, my brother has promisd to buy me KH as well as a new controller with his newly accquired fifty dollar K-mart gift card. It seems that little brothers aren't all that bad...

I've got a few peices of J&D-only fanart (for once) and I've got an update on the Lost in Darkness doujinshi (please let that be how it's spelled...) and I'm going to have several "How-to-draw Ottsels!" tutorials as well as a really funny pic that involves a certain final-fantasy charachter as an Ottsel...

Project: Ottsel Kingdom is all revved up and ready 2 go! All I have to do is send some notes and then we're rockin' and rollin'! Remember the contest: The person who designs the best throne for this project choosees who the next King (or Queen) of the ottsels will be! More details when the contest starts...

Organization XIII Puppet Pals "Paint Test" will be continuerd this summer due to lack of time. Trust me, this gets funny, and it involves a bucket, a shovel, two walkie-talkies and one very pissed off Nobody. I'm planning to bring in all the mebers of Organization XIII, and, if I get the chance, Sora-puppet, Namine-puppet and Daxter-puppet (Don't ask :3)

I'm also doing an all-original Manga called FLAME: Legend of the Apocalypse, and if you can dream up a better title, I'll be glad to hear it. Mine sucks. D:

I downloaded GIMP onto one of my da's computers, and I like it. I may continue the Organization XIII Puppet Pals Paint Test on GIMP now.

I printed off several inches of fanfiction today for reference when I'm doing 's fanfic manga, Lost in Darkness. I've looked long and hard for an excuse to do a Manga...

Oh! I haven't posted any of my japanese manga and fanarts here! I feel stupid now. ^-^' I've gotten really, really good with practice, and I'm doing several non-serious mangas- and one SERIOUS one- in my free time. "Fit for a king" is a skech of what the crown and scepter of the Ottsel King (or queen) will look like, and the contest is this: The person who can come up with the best design for the Ottsel throne gets to pick whose furry butt gets seated on it. :3 For those who wanna enter - rememer, this throne has to be fit for a king.. or queen.

I had some really long, detailed and poetic stuff here. We had a bomb threat at school, so I came home looking like a shoebrush from the wind, a shade darker from the sun, and hungry as H-E-double-sippy-sraws from the skimpy lunch. DX

Along with that, I'm sitting on enough artwork to kill someone. I WANT THIS SCANNER TO WORK! *glares evilly at scanner*

There is some good news, though! My school's archery team made it to Nationals! I get to shoot with 91 other teams from around the nation! Man, if there were a world tour with Austria on the map and we got to go, you all SO know where I'd be. :3

Also: has given me permission to do a manga for her KHII fic: Lost in Darkness. If you wanna know why I wanted to do it so badly, read the fic. It's really funny. XD Demyx is a cute little beaver!

I was playing the Olympus level for the second time around - I had skipped all the cutscenes the first time and I missed some uber-cute Demyx - and I was about to start when i leaned back in my chair... it was an oversized office chair with wheels and the ability to recline. I don't know what happerned, really. I was leaning back, and then I saw the chair's seat in front of the TV screen, which I KNEW was not right, then I smacked my head against the huge wooden chest we keep our fishtank on.
I wondered what they meant by "seeing stars" until now. (Wow, what a flash!) Pretty good thing I got a thick skull, huh? Ha-hah!
I wasn't hurt too bad, even though my brother thought I had cracked my skull open or somethin', but after the initial shock, I was fine. Except when I picked up the controller, I noticed the part where it connected to the PS2 was tangled up in the fireplace candlebras. -_-*

Demyx is SOOOOO cute! XD But, unfortunately, so easy to defeat.

Speaking of the Organization, I typed "Organization XIII Puppet Pals into the Google search bar, and looky what I found.

*Elexeus and Kounichi are charachters in a manga I'm working on. (I'm going to post some pages and art for their manga, UnreaL, as soon as I can) They're the main charachters, Kounichi being the girl protagonist and Elexeus being the guy. Elexeus was originally a charachter that resembled Roxas greatly, but now only his hairdo has stayed the same. He looks cool in his fighting outfit, though. :3 I really like how the manga's trning out. I can finally draw manga! *squee* Still can't get Axel or Demyx right, though. It's their hair that's bugging me. But I can't wait until Demyx shows up in the KHII manga. He'll be so cute! XD


BTW, I hate pretzels and bottled water. XP And I hate the standardized testing that comes with it. I get all Distinguished on this crap. Just proves school is full of ninnies.

At school, the've totally gone nutz. Because a few kids totally screwed up all three lines, and now we only get the bare minimum for lunch. Kiddie, elementary-school servings. We aren't even allowed totake it out of the line if it's extra. It totally screwed eveyone's day over.

Well, at least there's not enough food left over for anyone to throw anymore.

And, my best friend likes this guy who, when he spikes his hair up, looks like Roxas. (His codename is Tom Pickle) Now, whenever I draw some Roxas fanart, next thing I know, GLOMP! she's asking for it. And now that I've rembered that Roxas was voiced by Jesse McCartney, all I have to do is print a pic of him, get a sharpie, and write "TOM PICKLE".
