Hello all you Dark Link lovers out there! This is the randomly-disappears-for-unspecified-time-periods Captain Fireworks. XD* Yeeeah... I know. I've been making FMZ do all the work. I'm sorry! *glomps FMZ* Anyway, on my way back from vacationing down south, I got bored during the 15 hours or so spent in the car. I started randomly rating Zelda games, starting with comparing Ocarina of Time to Twilight Princess. I eventually did

EVERY SINGLE ZELDA GAME.

Yep. That's right. I have rated every single Zelda game, and I thought it would be fun and silly to share my list with you. ^_^ I would love some comments and feedback on whether you agree with me or not. Heh... and if you feel up to the challenge, go on and do your own Zelda rating!! Now then, enough rambling... HERE WE GO!

1. Ocarina of Time, N64.
Yes. The original OoT game was the best Zelda that there ever was and probably ever will be. Believe it or not, Ocarina of Time was the first Zelda game that I ever played. Needless to say I was hooked after that. The graphics, the sounds, the music, the characters, the swordplay, the bosses, the dungeons, the SHEER 3D-NESS OF IT ALL!!! Need I mention... fishing? :3 I could go on and on and on and on... I'll just say... The only thing bad about this game was Navi. xD
Oh yeah. Dark happened to be in this game too.
2. Twilight Princess, GC.
I must admit, Twilight Princess came very close to Ocarina of Time. The graphics were out of this world, the Zelda world was incredible, the ability to shift from Hylian Farm Boy to Wolf Of The Twilight was amazing... the music was good, but if it could have been orchestrated. THAT would have been amazing. Midna was kick butt. WAY cooler than Navi. The dungeons seemed easy, though. Well... easier than Ocarina of Time. Maybe it's because I've gotten better at video games since then? o.o I really don't know. The Zora's were cool. ^_^ I was sad that Kakariko went all ghost town, though. o.o And--And-- NO GREAT FAIRIES?! What was up with that?! Okay, there was ONE. In a hole in the ground. Well... anyway... it was a cool game. Ganondorf's hair was probably the greatest thing about the game, though.
3. Majora's Mask, N64
I don't care what people say about this game, I LOVE it. Termina was an awesome world to explore - over and over and over and over and over again. Anju and Kafei were the two most original characters I've ever seen in a Zelda game, and to actually complete their entire saga was dang near impossible! (*Cough Curse you Sakon cough*) Oh, and Skull Kid? He was one of those lovable baddies you couldn't help but loving and hating aaaaaaaaaaall at once. ^_^ Tatl and Tael were adorable. I loves Tael. A BOY FAIRY! Hehehe. And once again, being able to change shapes at will was fun. My favorite form? Zora, of course. LONG LIVE MIKAU AND THE INDIGO-GOS!!
4. Link's Awakening, Gameboy
Probably a strange choice to pick as 4th, but I can't help it. Link's Awakening was so original... xD An entire land that exists inside of Link's head while he's floating somewhere unconscious out at sea? Aah... in my opinion, some of the best Gameboy Zelda music EVER. The items and dungeons were so fun, and the end of the game was so awesome that it nearly made me cry. The whole leaving everyone behind, even though they were never real... er, nevermind. OH! This was also the very first Zelda game I beat without dying once! ^_^
5. Link To The Past, SNES
The only Zelda game for SNES. Dark World was just about the coolest place ever. If only I had a Magic Mirror... XD I wonder if I would turn into a pink bunny rabbit? Was this the first game you saw any of Link's family in? His uncle was in the very beginning. Then, y'know, he goes and gets himself killed 5 feet into the castle.
6. Oracle of Ages, GBA
Ages was better than Seasons. Nothing beats Time Travel. And the Tree was cooler in Ages than in Seasons.
7. Master Quest, GC
Master Quest... aaah. Nothing beats Ocarina of Time other than a more challenging version of Ocarina of Time!! XD
8. Wind Waker, GC

First, I apploligize for vanishing for, oh, nearly a month and a half. Christmas break, Twilight Princess, friends visiting, Twilight Princess, family, Twilight Princess, church, Twilight Princess, books to read, Twilight Princess, classes to register, Twilight Princess, gifts to deliver, Twilight Princess, oh and did I mention Twilight Princess??
If you have NOT played this game yet, you had better fix that before I come and hunt you down!!

All righties, onto business! I see that I have a ton of comments and watches and requests. I will get to that ASAP. However, it's getting close to midnight and I should really go to bed soon, so I'll probably get to most of it in the morning.

However, I think it's high time for a contest! :3 So, without further adieu...

THE DARK LINK FAN CLUB BANNER CONTEST
Rules:
1) Design a cool, original, spiffy banner for TDLFC.
2) Must be made by you, or in collaboration with a friend!
3) Must have (*resists urge to type shirtless OOPS did it anyway *) Dark Link somewhere in the picture/banner.
4) Um, keep the filesize small, if possible. And don't make it ridiculously huge, like 4000 pixels by 6000 pixels. XD* As great as that would be... Make it banner sized. ... what is banner size?
5) It has to actually say "The Dark Link Fan Club" somewhere in the banner. Be creative.
6) Any media/medium goes! Pens, pencils, photoshop, airbrush, sidewalk chalk, whatever you feel like using! ^_^

Hmm... The contest will go until the end of the month. January 31st. You can post a link to your work as a comment to this journal or as a comment on the main screen... thing. Yeah. ^_^ Have fun designing! I can't WAIT to see what y'all create!

After reading the latest chapters of ELOZE (an amazing Zelda-based fanfic. If you don't know what it is, I'll provide a link towards the bottom of the journal. If you do, rock on!), I decided "Hey, there's so many Dark Link pics and stories and what-not out there. That must mean that everyone's favorite Shadow has more than one fan, so why not make a club???"

Yup. So I did.

Um, well, I guess since it just started there's not a whole lot we can do. YOU, if reading this, can join, of course. Just add yourself to the watch/friend list to join! Then you can invite anyone else who might want to join! Then after we get a few members perhaps we'll hold some art contests, since this is, obviously, an art based website! As for now, check out the favorites. If you know of any cool DA Dark piccies that I haven't found or favorited, let me know!

I'll draw some stuff myself whenever I have some free time. Or maybe I can find my old doodles and submit them... well, we'll see.
