TheKwEeNofKoRn is an old nickname of mine I received from some friends. Since I'm such a huge and loyal fan of the band KoRn, they started calling me The KwEeN of KoRn. Now most people know me by just KwEeN or Vicious.

It was originally a picture of Shion Sonozaki from Higurashi but I changed the hair and eyes to dark brown to resemble me and also added "Vicious KwEeN" in pink.

I'm really excited for all the cosplays my group and I will be doing next year! We actually are already getting started on them because well, we have so many to do Dx But we all are having a lot of fun learning to sew, make props and style wigs so it's worth it!

Otakon is finally over and it was definitely a lot of fun! I met new people, saw old faces, premiered new cosplay, did new things, etc. It was probably my busiest con yet though which was tiring. I'm STILL fucking tired from it Dx But it was worth it :3

The Higurashi gathering was of course, the most fun I had at the whole con for the second time. I seriously love all those people!!! They are always so much fun <3 We got some pretty epic and hilarious photos too. Check some of them out in mah gallery ;D

My group premiered our Black Lagoon cosplays this year and while my Revy isn't completed yet, I think what I have done came out good. I still have to make the gun holsters and style my hair accordingly. I also forgot to wear my gloves which pissed me off >_< It's a lot of fun doing her though and so comfortable! My most comfortable cosplay yet xD We will probably only do Black Lagoon for summer cons though cause we would freeze in the winter D:

While Hellsing is still my group's main cosplay, we are retiring it from Otakon. We just cannot stand the heat Dx Each of us have multiple layers on and whether we are outside or inside, we all sweat our asses off and we just don't want to deal with it anymore. So this year was our last year for Hellsing at Otakon. Sorry everyone :[ There is still a chance I may show up next year in my She cosplay if I have it completed by then. I really want a Dok to go with it though and I don't have one

There is a chance I will NOT be wearing my black suit Integra for Otakon this year. I finished the blazer and when I put it on with my pants, it turned out being more of a blue thank black. I am very disappointed in myself for not realizing this sooner. It is not VERY noticeable but it still is depending on the lighting. In all honesty, I don't want to be wearing a dark blue blazer with black pants all day. It's not the colors of Integra's suit and thus, I will look stupid. So I finally started writing my Watchmen story which involves my Watchmen OC, Anastasia/Pareidolia. It's going great so far, a lot better than I planned actually! I'm currently writing chapter three and I honestly didn't think I would even get through chapter two because every fanfiction I have written in the past, I lost interest with writing it by the beginning or middle of chapter two. So I'm happy I'm getting this done, and I'm not even pushing myself to, I'm constantly wanting to write because I LOVE getting lost in the story. It's such a nice feeling to not have a writers block anymore. Considering I've had one for the past 3 years >[ But yea, I've been uploading a new chapter every week and I hope to keep it that way.

So what exactly is the story about and who is my OC? Well the story takes place in the Watchmen world and contains all the original characters and also my OC, Anastasia. It follows the original storyline but is its own story in itself. The story is through Anastasia's point of view and never switches to a different character's.

Anastasia is young girl in her early twenties trying to survive on the streets of New York City. Her parent's abandoned her after she was born and was raised in an orphanage. She never had an easy time fitting in with the other children so she rarely had friends. This led to her becoming anti-social and thus, never learned proper people skills. These factors cripple her to this day as she can't hold a job, doesn't have friends and lives in a rundown apartment. Ever since she left the orphanage she has been watching "them". Following them. Especially one in particular. They are her heroes. The only people she can trust and care about. They make her feel not so lonely in this dreary, lonesome world.

Why is the story called "Pareidolia" and what does it mean? You know how each person in Watchmen has a superhero name that isn't their actual name? Well Pareidolia is Anastasia's. And its meaning is similar to Rorschach's. It is a psychological phenomenon involving a vague and random stimulus (often an image or sound) being perceived as significant. Common examples include seeing images of animals or faces in clouds, the man in the moon, and hearing hidden messages on records played in reverse. I figured it was fitting considering she follows Rorschach's footsteps and sees the world close to how he does.

Some of you are probably thinking this is just another poorly written, batshit insane fangirl story but it definitely isn't. Well, I'm not amazing at writing but this sure as hell isn't an insane fangirl story. I've been planning this story for months and I have pages and pages of notes on the story AND Anastasia. So I didn't just throw together a Mary Sue OC and a short, uninteresting story to go with it. I keep all the characters in character most of the time and the storyline stays the same besides adding in Anastasia. Daniel is still chubby, has trouble getting it up and is in love with Laurie. Laurie still leaves Jon, has a revelation on crime fighting and falls for Daniel. Jon still has his accident, goes to Mars and is naked. Eddy still gets his face cut, freaks the hell out of Moloch and dies. Adrian still is obsessed with Egypt, kills millions of people, and catches a bullet. And Rorschach is still a masked vigilante, hates humans and dies by Jon's hands. Yes, Anastasia has a thing for Rorschach BUT he doesn't completely return the feeling. So no, there are no excessive sexual actions that happen between them.

So anyway, if you are a fan of the graphic novel or film and love drama, suspense and a hint of romance then you should definitely give it a read! I'm not promising you will love it but if you are already a fan of Watchmen, it wont hurt! You can read chapter one here [link]

Remember the journal I posted about a week ago asking for an artist to draw Anastasia for me? Well my good cosplay friend took up the challenge and has given me some AMAZING work! She has drawn and colored Anastasia's everyday outfit character sheet and I couldn't be more amazed at how accurate she made her! Sabby is definitely one talented girl. I couldn't be happier with the results. I can't wait until she finishes Anastasia's crime fighting outfit character sheet! Definitely looking forward to that one! Recently I finally bought myself a subscription here. Something Ive been wanting since I joined back in '07, lol xD.

Its not TOO much different. There are some nice perks that are great to have but nothing OMGAMAZING. I wish we could customize our profile instead of just our journals though >_<.

Katsucon is coming up!!! Only about 4 weeks to go! I have almost everything ready. Waiting on my contacts for Integra to get here. Had to get new ones because I accidentally ruined my old ones D;. Waiting on my Harley costume to be finished. Should be here in a week or so. Waiting on my whole gothic lolita outfit to get here. All of it better come in time or Im gonna be fucking PISSED >_>. And Im also waiting on my Formal Integra dress to get shipped. Those people are so slow D<. I have everything else thank god. Gah I definitely cant wait for this con! Its going to be so much fun x3!!! Ill be going with , , Katerinu, Enigmis, , , , , , , , , and TONS of other people xD. Ive scheduled a Hellsing shoot, Formal Hellsing shoot and Batman shoot. Im sure they will be tons of fun <3. Im SOOOO happy we got a room in the Hyatt [hotel the con is taking place]. We seriously lucked out with that ._. Im hoping for good weather because two of the shoots are outside. NO rain and NO cold! RAWR! I dont feel like freezing my ass off while trying to do poses Dx So yea, look forward to a bunch of new cosplay photos!!! They are gonna be good >D.
