It's been a loooong time, ne? ne?! I apologize. It seems I've become more a lurker now than an active...member? If you call my silly scribbles being active. Man...it's been ages since I've doodled anything and I don't think I will for a while.

Summer Tutoring is over. Well, it's been over for the best two weeks now but I'm still getting my days off from work. The only grudge I have against my work right now is that I've been closing every friggin' Tuesday. Before it was two people closing and I didn't have to crawl into the atrocious "liquor department" but...they decided to cut hours yet again! Apparently, word on the grapevine is that the store has somehow misplaced $150,000 after the recent inventory. It's like...wow. So I get the end of the fugly stick and have to close by myself now. The good: Tuesdays are awfully slow as hell. The bad: I still have to deal with selling alcohol D
Hate selling it...

School wise: They canceled my Plant Bio class :c. Which is okay...that just means I have to take Biology in the spring semester along with another history class and either geography or geology. So I won't be getting my AA until then >:/. Damn, I was really interested in that Plant Bio class...beat learning more about the wondrous human body. I was going to opt and sign up for the Creative Writing they offered here...but it got the boot too =3=.

As for Life...well let's of things going on. I'm getting a lot of spite from my family (mainly my siblings). Not all of them...but one of them in particular holds some nasty spite. Spite, spite, spite and enmity D<. Sorry for living pathetic life so pathetically! /rantmore D<

And...that's it XD. I swear I'm making these journal posts like blog posts. Ahaha...

My fellow coworkers did so much crap on my birthday (I had to work that day). One of them kept randomly saying Happy Birthday throughout the day. Her and another cashier also sang to me...on the store intercom...(embarrassing...) and yeah. I mean...I guess they care XD. Anyway, the Spring Semester is almost over and Summer has apparently made itself aware earlier this year (yay global warming?). Well turns out I still need a bit more classes to actually finish (really it's just a math and science class) but...if I'm going to transfer, I found some info in the catalog that lists courses that I should take to receive credit for!

What does this mean?



Another History class (somehow, the other two I took don't qaulify under the Breadth System). I need a math class and a science+lab course. Also...Political Science? wtf >_>? So how am I going to remedy this situation?

Summer School:

History 17A-ONLINE.

I was debating whether I wanted to take it or just rest during the summer. In the end...I'll bite the bullet and take it during the summer. I just hope I don't burn myself out like last Summer semester. That's when I hated waking up every day~

Fall:

Political Science B1-ONLINE

Psychology B5-Statistics Equivelent. They say it's much easier.

Crop Science (Plant Biology + Lab)

Student Development-ONLINE. Silly class, but it's online so should be easy.

When that's all done and I do well in them, then I should have reached all requirements. I will be getting my AA regardless, since all I really need is the science and math. But the Poli-Sci and History is needed to fulfill the Breadth Thing and the Student Development is for graduation requirement.

Turns out...I still need more lol. Me and another Tutor were going over what we needed and ya...so I need to take another friggin' science class (has to be physical and life =3 and a foreign language :/. I would love to take japanese (and be a total weebo, or whatever) but it's main campus and that's like...far. So I'll just settle for Spanish since mine is okay, but not really good?

This means I get to take the summer off and really push my projects. Then take the last courses I need in spring! Like I said, I'll get my AA in the fall if I do well in my science and math, so the rest is just to clear out the small steps!

Anyway, I know I've been absent and inactive in other areas, but I don't really have an excuse to justify my behavior. Well, I guess I do but who wants to hear emo rants? Thing is, I'm back on my feet and things seem better, can't really complain.

Almost bought a laptop yesterday, simply because I've always wanted one...but I couldn't. Apparently my sister removed my mom from her costco account, and well...we weren't allowed to buy anything lolol. Thing is she never told us so it was like...ouch. Well it wasn't that big of a deal, we didn't make any big expenses after all--well really I would have been the one making that expense lol.

Pokemon Platinum: Love the game. It's the same friggin thing, but everything feels so new ; ;. Problem is...iono why I decided to do this "EV training". I never really cared, even when I heard of it. I was like "no thanks, I wanna enjoy the game," but now I find myself doing it anyway. So, first badge and I already have a lvl 22 Monferno, Luxio, and a Buizel on its way. EV training is such a bish ; ;''

Last but not least, Spring Break is next week \o/. Hopefully they don't realize that at work and still give me Mon-Thu off, then I'll FINALLY get to rest. Ever since I got this tutor job, I've had no day of the week to really just do things I want to do. All work work work ; ;''

...it took me like 4 friggin' tries to format it correctly. By format I mean the line breaks as indentation is different story. I did my best to revise the first chapter. I did make some changes and hopefully it reads fine, but I still think the fight scene (spoilers?!) seems a bit cluttered. Either way, please enjoy~

Most likely going to password protect the next coming chapters as this one may make or brake it for you. Feel free to comment on it or anything on the site for that matter (not on the empty ones mind you) and I promise to upload more stuff soon.

Before I go: Please do not copy or distribute any of the content found at said site. I know it's a rather risky as its the internet, but please don't ruin it for everyone. I'll edit them to the best of my ability and also elaborate and clarify scenes that may seem rather confusing. Because I will edit them, then there's a possible chance that new chapters will be woven within the process; however, the drawback is that it will take longer. Again, I will try to follow a month-by-month update with a new chapter added each month.

But please do keep this in mind: Despite the setting being placed before the current events of project-mana, it will not be my main focus. If needed, I will put off updates of project-paradise when needed so, thus prolonging updates. I suppose it may be a risky hand to play, but at the same time it can turn out to be a beneficial strategy. I may keep each chapter password protected, but it seems very unlikely I will do that, who knows XD;

Other than that, thanks guys for showing some interest. I greatly appreciate it that you seem interested in my works and I hope you will indeed enjoy them. Though...please don't hold high expectations (lolwut?) I feel that my writing style for these projects to be experimental and perhaps still underdeveloped. I'm not saying that it won't make sense or it doesn't flow, but you will notice that my style doesn't seem to follow the standard flow/structure of current novels--or maybe it does? I don't know, I'll let you decide!

Expect some updates soon as I get the site up and running in the coming week or two~

Yes, I'm still alive and kicking (...sorry world, you just gonna have to deal with it a bit longer) and...yeah! Tutoring is going by fine while work at the supermarket is rather...meh. I get to close saturday and have to go in early on sunday to make things worse. My small group class...is going by fine. We had our first speech due this coming monday but it was pushed back like two weeks. I really don't have a day to just sit down and do whatever I want since each week is work, tutoring, and school--anyway...

After a bit of a fiasco with my web hosting, I can now say that its back and running. Granted I haven't uploaded anything or have a home page yet, but I was wondering that maybe...besides adding info and details of the novel-project...what if I...maybe upload the novel I did for NaNoWriMo?

I won't guarantee anything, but maybe I'll start uploading like a chapter each month? I forgot how many total chapters there are, but there's enough. Of course, the question is...edited...or unedited version? See...if I do make some edits, then it would follow a month-update queue. Maybe even longer as it won't be my primary focus, but hey you get to read some of my work and be the one to tell me "you suck, stop writing and focus on life!"

Course I lied! ...about studying lol. Then some people were like what are you going for/what are you majoring in. I learned some people are just insane taking like 15+ units at one go. I mean, good luck, will, and all that good stuff--but like wow XD;. Some people were pretty cool and there's one person I remember having in Debate Class...and apparently in my last comm. class from last semester (though I don't really remember, but she insisted). Anyway...

Today was my first tutoring session. I was nervous as hell, pondering just what subject I would have to tutor in. I even found my English B1 book and started going over it. It focused all on grammar, sentence structure, etc. etc. since I figured I would most likely get someone that needed help in English. WRONG! All I had to tutor today was--help at the Tutor Club Bake Sale!

That's right. I got paid 2.5 hours for sitting on my butt, selling goods to raise money for the Tutor Club scholarship since there was no one scheduled for my time! I was also suppose to be introduced to Returning Tutors...but, my god, they reminded me of the work environment at, well, work lol. Yeah...I dunno. I'll be handling a student on Thu. for sure on...Art Appreciation...I believe. I hope I can be helpful in some way and not further confuse her e_e;;

Let's see how things play out...

I have to close at work after so long--as a bagger. They removed me from the cashier's list because of the hour cutbacks, complete bs really. I hate, HATE, HAAAAATTTTEEEEE closing as a bagger. Why can't I be smitten now? Why? Wryz?

Okay, now that you're attention is mine. I enrolled in the tutoring course after all and therefore I am flagged as a tutor. We won't start tutoring (mind-controlling) students yet (propaganda) until the fourth...week? Either the fourth or third week since tomorrow is just the Job Placement Phase and then after that is an Observed Tutor Session to see how it plays.

I also requested 4 days off from my job and got them--sweet. Since I have to put in Tutoring Hours (paid) and take on an extra class PLUS my other classes, I need time to study and do my homework. So I will work weekends now (fri-sat). Even though the schedule was a disaster for next week (why am I not surprised), I exchanged 16 hours (8h shifts) with another cashier who only got 20 hours this week (they cut a ton of hours--stores not doing so well). I will get my official 4 days off for sure next week though, so that's all good.

I hope the best for this semester and for you guys as well <3 ~

I guess I'm ready. Like I've said before, it should be my last semester--hopefully. It seems so far that one Beginning Reporting class isn't going to be canceled. Though...six students is still not enough to meet the minimum required for a class, guess we'll find out on tuesday. Also, I might become a tutor this semester . Long story short--I got a letter in the mail inviting me to the Tutor's Orientation and on that day I will decide whether I wish to sign up for the class or not (they're basically workshops and training).

The cool thing about becoming a tutor is that you're actually being paid while taking the class. You hold 4 tutoring sessions a week and they're all paid. So 4 weeks in a month, 4 hours per week--that's 16 hours * minimum wage = 128 a month. Not bad.

I would focus on Communications (Speech Outlines and Presentation), English (essay/research paper construction)...and iono what else. I guess I can tackle math even though I haven't taken a math class since senior year in high school lol. Iono, it seems rather fun...plus I'm helping someone in some way and not feel completely worthless ^^"

Just gotta see if work is gonna comply with my schedule if I do sign up for the course. I'd most likely require afternoons off for my sessions. Maybe I'll drop beginning reporting if I do sign up for tutoring and just make my life easier XD;.

Also, we finally painted my room--only I have to sleep in the living room lol. Of course I took my mattress, so it's not so bad XP. Was gonna move in back today, but my mom wanted to put in new carpet so...probably won't move back in monday or tuesday when they do install the new carpet. I was only able to plug my PC back in today...alas...

Anyway, nothing new so far really--two weeks left of vacation (T_T) which I'm dreading, but alas can't be helped. I'm thinking of dropping all my classes minus the two that I need (Small Group Comm. and Edu. Planning) since...that's all I really need. The Intro to Reporting doesn't look like its going to thrive--okay, six people now and that's including me. I believe they need a minimum of 15 to even consider it a class.

The only problem with that is that FA won't support you if you don't have a minimum of 6 units and between the two I need...that's only 3.5 units. I'm not sure what they do if you don't meet the minimum. I think you just don't get the check, which fine by me. I mean, less stress for me right? Well, can't decide yet so meh.

I'm thinking of applying at a new place. Another supermarket but it's totally FAIR AND PAYS WELL (10/h baby! Take that Ranch Market bishes!). It hasn't opened yet but I know they're taking apps, should apply...but I think you do more than just one job. Which is fine...not like they didn't do that to me @ my current place for less pay >>.

Also, I finally got ToS: DotnW (Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World). It's pretty neat, though I kept dying in battles cuz I'm not used to the wii mote. Frick, it's my second Wii game ever LOL, so yeah XP. Just one note: Tenebrae is WIN <3. I friggin' love his character, too bad he doesn't fight with you in battles >: but his attitude and style is just so <3.

X-mas wasn't as exciting here at home this year. We spent it by ourselves again, versus previous ones where the whole family was here and we'd open presents and what not. For some reason, I wasn't really excited about it either as it drew nearer and nearer. Could I possibly be any more boring? >:

Other than that I'm making some progression in FFXI and in my story as well. I think I'm still stuck in NaNo mode since yesterday I wrote about 1.5k and today I ended up doubling it with +200 more~ That or it's a trait I picked up from the experience. I'm not complaining really.

I feel this Arc (which I deemed the Shinji Arc) will be a long one. Which is fine since it should hopefully draw you into the story itself. Hopefully >o>...

Also thinking of re-re-revamping the website for the story itself and actually add things--finally. Maybe upload a chapter or two for reading~ Maybe.

Those aside: What are you planning to do for the holidays? I'm not sure what we'll be doing, though I'm sure it'll be stay at home with the possible family coming over.

Well just two more weeks to go before it ends. I think I got into the meat of the story itself. The characters developed nicely...so far, I hope 8D;. I feel...there will be a time jump soon...somehow, lol. Then it will proceed with some twists and then followed by the planned time jump and finish up with another twist.

Damn...didn't reach 25,000. Oh well, I was blessed with having three days off in a row from work. Classwork wasn't so demanding this week either, but man...next week will be a killer. First, I have to work on my part of my group speech for Intercultural Comm. and tackle whatever Advance Dreamweaver throws at me (this week was rather hectic for it with PHP, MySQL, and phpMyAdmin thrown into the mix). Yeah, this coming week is going to be a bit...e_e;;!

Well here's my goal for the second week of NaNo!

I'm actually quite afraid that I won't finish the story within 50,000 word mark. Which is okay--as long as you breach the 50k mark, you're gold. But...ahhhhhh DX!

You see...I was updating my notes for my novel project since I was lacking some motivation. Then, for some reason...I wanted to expand on the story of a certain character as I was going a bit more into details behind his reason for his actions, who, which, plays a key role--the prequel would basically be his story before EVERYTHING in the current present time within my current novel.

Of course, the prequel won't explain everything since the rest will be revealed within the current novel (ohoho, so in case you get hooked and what to know more :3). However it will give readers an insight on that particular character and also grant a bit more history and background information about the world itself.

So...I'll possibly write this prequel for NaNoWriMo 8D! Thoughts? Questions? Irujustshutthehellupalready?

So...something happened this past Saturday at work. I went to take my last break of the day since it was an 8-hour work shift. Like always, I take my breaks/lunches in the break room up stairs on the second floor of the store (nothing really up there other than the break room and restrooms). It goes by like any other break, uneventful and quiet which I like...and the only soul up there was one of the members from the Safety Crew.

Well...as my break drew to a near, I noticed that the Safety Crew member began to clean the stairs--with the mop. Now, I don't know if they are actually suppose to clean the stairs with the mop...but this guy did. So when I began to make my way down the steps I tried to be careful since they were heavily scented with the cleaning solution---and I end up stepping on the edge of one of the damn steps about halfway down...

Yeah, it happened. I fell down the stairs 8D!

At first I was like OHSHIT I'M FALLING--to--oh screw it =3=; and I let gravity take care of the rest. Next thing I know I was doing some funky dance and ended with me landing on my fat ass~ I started to laugh afterwards, I don't know why XD;;. Luckily I didn't hit my back against the steps OR fall forward. I remember hearing a customer (I think) at the top of the stairs gasp and the cleaning dude was like "are you alright?"

I got up and told him I was fine and went my way, because I didn't want to...well, be burden and cause all this trouble for him--or anyone for that matter. I just know that my leg had this tingling warm spikes for a bit and it did start to hurt but nothing too bad. I didn't bruise of anything...so that was cool, but what pissed me off was the fact that the front end manager didn't do shit about it.

I wasn't going to fill in a report but they've told us if something ever happened (if we fall, etc.) that we should file a report incase our conditions worsen yada yada. Well at first I wasn't but I told myself "NO, YOU NEED TO DO IT." So...afte talking with one of the cashier's I told the front-end that I wanted to file a report (we had told her beforehand what had happened). She said "You want to file one?"

"Yeah...I think that would be best."

...

She never did anything afterwards >_>.

Doesn't really paint a good picture for the store...and it's a painting that's just getting worse and worse by the day.

Well my PC is back from the dead and lookin' sexier than ever. I even went out and bought a fancy new monitor (HP w2207h 1680x1050). Everything is so bright right now but nothing I can't fix with a bit of a tone down. It's just so...<3 everything looks really nice on this baby!


Well school starts monday (boo) and...I'm sort of looking forward to it and really not at the same time. I need to drop an online class I signed up for cuz they have this annoying participate in an online chat and offer different hours. Knowing my work schedule...eh not gonna be that possible. So...as I slowly sustain myself from going into complete withdraw (no FFXI--its WAY out dated here, no story--this PC doesn't have word)...I'll probably be playing some DS or maybe some FFXII...

Anyway, she spoke to me afterwards and congratulated me for wearing my button and apparently I won a dinner for 2 at Chilis. So...woo for me.

Other than that...can't really think of anything else but that I just want to quit everything and just sleep/die/fade/disappear etc etc or something :/.

I kept putting it off for so long that this is the only way for me to actually sit down and work on it. I already have a nice layout set up, but I need to add the content! So I came back from my trip to San Jose, visiting the Winchester Mansion. Hate to break it but...didn't encounter any ghostly sightings as I was hoping for :<. However, I did learn more about the wacky mansion and noted that Sara Winchester was a very smart kooky old lady. Slanted, grooved sinks? Smart. Indoor greenhouse room where she would water her plants and any excess water would drain through the floor and water her plants in the garden--genius XD.

Anyway, now I can say I visited a historical landmark \o/. My sis took some pictures, and some of us where me and her were being silly during the tour XD. I'll post those whenever she develops them (which can be a while...).

Hmmm...other than that, can't think of anything else to say. Other than I want a freaking Wii and now I can't find one /grumblegrumble. But it's ok, as long as I get it before SSBB--guess that extra day /coughcough, will help me 83.

Well the start the new Spring Semester begins on Tuesday (well, tomorrow but since its MLK's Bday and all), and I'm only taking two classes this semester.

I was actually thinking of taking more but when I was looking at which requirements I still needed to complete--turns out I covered all of them , lol. So here, taking random classes at times and I covered the general ed. requirements. So what am I taking?

Child Development
European Civilization

Euro Civi is a history class cuz I need to take two history classes for an AA degree. Child Development is just a filler class to meet the FA requirement and also taking it as interest. If everyone goes well, by fall or next spring I should receive my AA in Communications (imagine that lol).

Should be a somewhat lax semester. Now for the ranting D8<

Work is being a complete bish. I turned in my class schedule one week and half before school. I highlighted when school started, what days I need off. What happens? I check today and BAM, wednesday from 11-5 when I have class @ 11:15-12:30. What the ----....seriously. It's complete and utter BS. I'm so looking for new employment...somewhere...someplace ; ;''

PS: I need to buy LONGER PS3 games. Maybe I need to opt for a Wii |3

Work Work Work Work Work Work Work Work Work Work Work....did I mention Work?

Yup, that's whats gotten a hold of me lately. I hardly have much to do much of anything. And if I do, I put whatever days off I have into thy story :<.

Speaking of story, my last entry mentioned I made a website for it and junk. Well, I just uploaded the Prologue from Book I. I was planning on uploading Chapter 1 as well, but that will have to wait. I did not expect to have so much time consumed by simply formatting the story to look presentable on the website. So it may seem a bit strange (though its merely a personal complaint XD).
