Okay folks I'm going out on a limb here, but if any of you blokes who look at my journal are both twenty-one or older AND are in or near the San Diego area this Thursday, than you should TOTALLY come to a show involving my friend's band, Black Spot ([link]). It's gonna be at a bar in OB called Dream Street Live ([link]). It's a six dollar cover charge and there'll be other bands going on too, but Black Spot goes on about nine-ish, or so I'm told. Hope to see someone there! Oh and remember to tell them at the door that you're there to see Black Spot!

I'm willing to idea pitch if anyone reading this wants to gimmie feedback or throw around some ideas with me, drop me a note.
FIRST 10 PEOPLE TO REPLY TO THIS JOURNAL GETS FEATURED ON HERE (a.k.a. I'll dive into your gallery and choose three of your best deviations (in my opinion) and post them up here, only catch is You have to put this in your journal if you choose to be one of the 10!

1) *AngesPurs ( [link] )

a) I Spy ( [link] ) I really like this one. The way the dress is done really stands out and it impressed the hell out of me. It's a really good piece of work.

b) Rose Colored ( [link] ) This is another impressive work. I like the details and the shading on the petals in particular!

c) Link from Wind Waker ( [link] ) Gyahaha, I loved this incarnation of Link. Wind Waker was a great game, and this is a great depiction of lil' Link from the game.

2) *GreenArrow ( [link] )

a) Green Arrow - Process ( [link] ) I was very, VERY hard pressed to only pick three of GA's works, but I've finally done it. First, comes his namesake, with a wickedly awsome dynamic pose and good use of shading. And it's the freakin' Green Arrow.

b) Nightwing - Process ( [link] ) Another favorite hero of mine, I love the pose used for this piece. The escrima practically leap off the page.

c) Hawkman - HQ ( [link] ) And to wrap things up, an incredibly detailed piece of Hawkman. The feathers (both real and fillagree on the helmet), the color and shading and even the body hair are all displayed in fine detail. A wonderful piece. And dammit, check out his gallery, there's a lot more where this came from!

3) ~Kestrel-chan ( [link] )

a) For Me? ( [link] ) Here is the first of Kestrel-chan's works that I will be pimping. She's a good friend of mine and she's pimping out my artwork too, so it's only fair. XD Anywho, I should say more on this piece, but I'm too busy humming Katamari on the Rocks. Needless to say, this is a cute and highly amusing little ditty of the Prince of the Cosmos from Katamari Damacy

b) Ambience II ( [link] ) I like this picture a lot, the extremes of light and dark and the reflection of the flames round it out nicely. It's a bit fuzzy but I like the way it makes the picture look.

c) Figure Skating ( [link] ) Rounding things up, this is a fun piece that I got to see work it's way up in stages, as this is the first really significant picture to come off her tablet. It's a picture that ought to bring a smile to the viewer.

4) ~devilmanlady ( [link] )

a) Dynamic Duo... 2nd Gen ( [link] ) For starters, this nifty piece. I love the pose; motion towards the viewer has always been hard for me to do so I always like seeing it , especially when it's done well. The color job is very well done as well. It's one of my fave pieces from her.

b) Xan portrait ([link] ) I really like this one a lot. It is simplistic in design but it works. I especially like the facial expression and the way the eyes contrast with the rest of the picture.

c) Superbat... WTF ( [link] ) Because let's face it, this design is bad ass. The subdued reds and blues make the fusion of Super and Bat work well.

5)~Daimera ( [link] )

a) Grind Up 'n Cut Loose ( <a href="http://www.devianta...

Wow. I mean, WOW. I have been feeling really jazzed lately. My confidence has gone up, that inability to perceive the feelings and thoughts others are trying to make apparent through hints and signs is wearing away, I've been in a very good mood, my artist's block is a thing of the past, and even my posture when I walk is better. Wow, if I could get a nice little backrub, life would be PERFECT. Anywho, Gundam: Encounters in Space is REALLY cool and has re-inspired me to pick up an old project. So expect more from my Sonic as Humans bit that I'm hinting at (I still need a title. Any ideas folks??) and expect to see some Gundam related art. Peace out all!
