SHe is the one who made my Kahlan replica costumes!!

OY

I am trying to finish up that Bonnie and Clyde piece today
but with a headache, stomache ache, and other...stuff like that, the prospect is not looking so good right now
its close, its looking really good but at the same time there is still A LOT to be done like straightening lines and the gun, sela's shirt, and the car are definitely not done
the goal was to make this the equal to or better than the one the got the DD but its so different its hard to compare.
but its in progress.

Hopefully by the end of the week it will be done and posted

In the meantime I am sure you will all see lots of polls related to the portfolio folder and what should be taken out to trim it down.

I am still SO excited about the Daily Deviation from last saturday....the piece has almost 1000 favorites! How cool is that! It give me a little bit of confidance for my portfolio and for myself. Speaking of portfolio...Oy. Yeah it's real fun to print this shit out NOTHING comes out the same as the computer and hey, nothing even prints the same way twice! What is that about?? The 'Pretty Bird' piece...I love it, it got me into the arrow/canary comics, then I dressed up like her and modeled for that fantastic photo shoot and went to the Boston convention but printing that damn piece is MADDENING! Without changing any settings....first theres no detail that shows up in his muscles or her face....then his outfit turns black....then her outfit turns black...then her legs get overly sunburned. I kid you not NO CHANGES to anything. Just a different crappy print out each time. I think it is a sign to leave that one out.

they dont come out looking better than 'the only 2 good pieces i have' (zombie sama and always my way)---(though i thought some others were nice like Shi but apparently i was mistaken) then im done. i have failed at enough things in my lifetime to know when its time to just quit.

So, that is 5-6 pieces to get this right or say fuck coloring and just take all the 'you suck' and be done.

i have them all picked out. Some are started, the pin up is almost finished. last ditch effort im sick of trying, all i do my whole life is put my WHOLE HEART into things that blow up in my face or else i just fail. I am sick of failing. I don't believe I am meant to be anything special anymore.

I know I am creative I have the most unbelievable ideas but I can not even call myself an artist at this point...I can't draw and the color work I have been producing is sickening
And we have lost the Film camera which was my greatest and favorite tool...along with the darkroom....which i was in by the time i was 7 and it was my happy place and my escape...
No test strips nescisary i could see the negative and I could do without testing

Here all I do is fail. Just like everything else in life

They send us to the 'best schools' for me...10 years of all girl school where I didn't fit in inside...a brunette in a world of bleach blond fake tans and pearls....to prep me for a top 10 university
I did my part I got in early admission. I went.
Where I didn't fit in, they called me weird, said I didn't deserve to be there. A couple years, fall apart completely and totally
And home. To...we need not go there...
And back to another school where this time I didn't bother making friends I just finished, worked hard to finish
And worked harder to get into the next school THE fashion school to go to.
And I got in to learn what i needed to make my dreams come true.
But great Ideas get you nowhere without talent.

And now we are back to the begining. Where you have way too much information about me all of you people i dont know.

Still feeling a bit burnt out but I have some new motivation so maybe it will help me step up the working pace a little bit

I still can't get past the shiney thing wih my coloring. You know the put white shine on anything leather thing. I have determined that if I have to for a project I will but otherwise...so not my style...Leather doesnt actually shine white....most things dont shine white, it drives me crazy..and then people get all judgy 'wheres the white'...welll, look at the photos of me in leather do YOU see white? I don't.

But aside from that I've had fun the past few weeks bothering some people I have found on deviant art about some of their line art that I loved or commissioning line art to color.
So I have a list of things to do for fun which I am really psyched about...though I overdid it and I definitely have 'fun stuff' to keep me occupied for the next millennium....but I will start one tomorrow (feb 25) as a break from doing working type stuff, and then on from there with portfolio stuff, work stuff, other work stuff, and fun things whenever I can!
But the fun things are really really fun, so look forward to them, I've got harry potter themes, and x-men, and all sorts of fun stuff coming up as I get them done...though today was dedicated to fixing up an old piece that I loved and did a crap job on the first time around

I am so excited to start the year with saying I have FIVE pieces that have gotten 20+ favorites! I never even thought I'd hit 20 so I am SO proud of myself, wether they deserve it or not I am besides myself with happy right now!

Ive got my computer back...

and since then on saturday....well no i guess my disasters started around monday....you know when its one thing than the next and it just snowballs and you feel like WTF snowball! can't ya just fall off a cliff??

Coloring has been my savior the past few days which is why so many new ones
keeps me occupied, sometimes i listen to my harry potter books that i know by heart but who cares they make me happy

it keeps me relaxed and sane though i really do love to color,
and no im not the best. but should i care?
i come on here and get all dejected because so many people are SO much better than me, and people close to me tell me they arent better i just have my own style to which i usually am nasty back saying something like yeah the style of a 5 year old.
because when i look at my work comparatively i see nothing good and it upsets me a great deal
but i keep working and i keep trying

im not ready to give up yet

i never really am

things have to give up on me before i give up on them...once something has given up on me...then i stop....

but so far....i got my computer back, and i am getting faster, and i hope they are looking good, i like adding my own styles to things while i am awaiting some real pages from people instead of all this disney but im starting to have fun with the disneys

the snow white takes the cake, i just look at it and knowing what i wrote in it and what the scene is now about it kills me, cracks me up every time

ok ill stop talking to my lack of audience

ah listen! all those people in my head are clapping for me

OH and i changed my journal skin. I like this one. I like the rainbow one better...but apparently it was for gay pride and im not gay. i dont have anything against gay people but people assume enough about me without having a journal that makes them assume that i am not only this that the other thing but gay too...so i had to lose the rainbow journal

but this one is kinda potter-ish so i liked it. its a solid 2nd choice...with no hidden meanings that i overlooked...i don't think!

I wish more people looked at this stuff, even if i don't do great work yet I wish someone was looking at the silly stuff i even put up. makes me happy when someone marks something as a favorite i just wish i did work good enough that it would happen more

But I added 2 new disney colored in coloring book pages...I am on an old laptop because mine is broken....I am sure if you are on here some of you can relate to the feeling of freek out without your very own computer....I know my computers that I do work on I get very funny when they are not around because I use them so much....not that I am a technology aholic, it'snot like I need my email every 2 seconds...even though now I get email every 2 seconds...sometimes I want to throw the blackberry out the window...

But the computer becomes something else when video and art and coloring are all on it...then once without it its like counter productive to use something else or something old or something that just doesn't work as well. I am completely all over the place without my 'normal' computer, it is making me crazy.

Anyway 2 new disney coloring pages I think is what I was talking about. The Belle one came out nice...I think. I am a very poor judge of my own work...but I THINK it came out well. Snow White not so much,

I have a few friends who have promised some better stuff to color beyond Disney coloring books...but I am still waiting on them, but it's not like a big deal at this point I don't know if I could do a good enough job with this computer anyway.

I think I might even decide to post up some of my designs as well for some of my projects...maybe

Though drawings of shoes are not as interesting as actual shoes. So we'll see

My coloring on the drawings is atrocious. So I am kind of embarrassed to post them! But I'm sure in the end they will all go up there because my real art is ideas

Above and beyond all else is what I think and what I see, and thats probably important to have here if I plan on sending this site's link to anyone.

Some of my photoshop stuff is posted now, I'll post some costume stuff later. I have really way too many photos to post but maybe in the future I'll get some of those up there too but they are all things I darkroom developed so that would involve scanning which means I would have to find, scan, and put them up so it might be a while until my photographs make it up here!

So until then, some photoshop stuff is up, just play stuff

I'll put some shoes and bags I've drawn up

I am just starting to learn pin-up girl proportions, I'll put some of them up

And when I get some really good samples of my coloring work I'll put those up too!!
