New camera: Canon 40D, 17-85mm lens.
I can't believe I saved up enough money to buy it. Duty Free!
I can't believe I'm using digital and not hating it.
The main thing that annoys me is that it's too easy to take photos which would be quite difficult and require lots of trials and experimentations on film on this camera in a few minutes. It seems to take some skill out of it...

New camera photos soon.

I'm still in the process of going through lots of film I had not scanned, hence not posted.

Recently my boyfriend discovered a great park near my house so we took some photos featuring glowsticks and clilmbing trees. They turned out really, really well. "In The Park" series.


We've also recently discovered some large underground pipes connected to a creek with heaps of graffiti and so on also near my house. Hopefully when it's not so wet and there's time off work we'll go and take some more photos.
We went to the pipe (not to be confused with the other "pipe" series photos -that's a different one) yesterday evening and someone was sitting in the pipe playing a drum really really loudly, sounded great. You could smell the weed in the pipe, ha.

For my 20th birthday, a Mamyia C220 (made '68). It's in amazing condition. Currently it just has a standard 80mm twin lens on it, I wouldn't mind a wide... one day.
I love it! I'd only used the C330 before, mostly for the Untitled Knight series, and that was a lot of fun to work with too.


The other is a Minolta Hi-Matic G ('74). Condition is ok, not as good as the Mamyia tho, just needs a bit of a wipe over. Found it in an antique shop. Was only $15! It still works really well. It's so cute and compact!


Yay! So now I have 3 very different cameras.
Now I just have to actually put some stuff on here...

There's dust on my film, my scanner bed is dirty (again...), and even scanned at a 1200 resolution, it still becomes pixleated, let I do feck all to it in photoshop. It's just auto levels and crop. THAT'S IT.

They're meant to be blurry and lots of reflections and movement etc so that's ok, but quality wise, they look shit compared to other people and their digi stuff.

I don't like digi shite, dammit!!
