Well what better way to start off a first journal entry other than me saying that ive finally switched from using windows to ubuntu (dapper drake). For quite some time now ive been using bblean for windows as my alternative shell which over a couple of months ive fell in love with, the ease of use is amazing, and recently ive been hearing the word spread about ubuntu so I figured what the hell why not ill try it out.
Its been all of but 5 hrs since install and it wonderful already have fluxbox installed which was one of the main reasons why I decided to switch. Although it will take some time getting used to not having the programs ive been working with for years (photoshop, macromedia suite, etc.) to some newer ones such as miranda im (which i hope that someone will soon port this), so some getting used to is in order.
ok enough of the excited rambling time to do some more exploring ... and getting used to this damn terminal lol .
