I miss having long vacations (haven't been on one for years) but I guess now that I'm older, I won't be as easily entertained there like I was when I was a kid.

I'm also trying out copic markers after I got a pack on sale. Unfortunately, it didn't have the basic colors that most people start out with (they were mostly secondary colors), so I'll have to start buying them, but I honestly don't know what colors to start out with! I've been trying to find out what colors would work for skin tones, and good base colors in general, but haven't come up with much.

Also, this has been bugging me for a while: When artists sell fanart at anime conventions, why don't they get in trouble for it? It's illegal isn't it? I mean, when I was younger, I bought all sorts of fanart at the con here, but didn't think about that until recently. Cons are official events, so I figured that there would be a strict policy on it. Discuss?

Anyways, I finished the semester and passed all of my classes! Unfortunately, I still have to take a chemistry class during the summer until July 23. 3 hours at night of lecture on Mondays, and from 1pm to 8:30 pm on Wednesdays. I'm going to die! D:

Other than that, I honestly haven't been inspired to draw very much, but I have been writing more and playing video games more. Being jobless sucks. I need money~ (but really, who doesn't?).

HOWEVER, an issue has been brought up; Many people in Korea have signed a petition against the series in any form. The problem being that the Korean character is depicted in a way that isn't representative at all to Korea.

Many people are saying that it's not fair for the series to be stopped because of a group of nationalists. They were horribly upset, but never stated why, so I looked into it a bit, because I didn't understand at the time why it was so serious. Now I guess that people haven't really thought about it.

I can see the issue and to me, it's perfectly understandable on why they would be upset. But I really like the series too and I don't want it to be cancelled. I was just wondering if anyone else read the series and what they think about this issue?

Tetsuya (Tetsu) Hikari

2.)What's he/she like?
He really is the kind of guy that you want to smack, but still be friends with. Overall, the idea is that he's a pervert, but is pretty clueless when it comes to love. He's averagely intelligent and he can be serious when necessary. He also wants to become a stronger, more mature person for Sakura.

3.) What spurred his/her creation?
Well, I was just randomly doodling and I accidently drew him. That's pretty much how all of my characters were formed.

4.) What inspired his/her name?
I took the name Tetsu from my brother. I decided his full name would be Tetsuya (since Tetsu by itself sounds like a nickname to me) and Hikari was chosen more for his sister than for him. Tetsuya itself is a weird name for him because apparently the first meaning for it can be "Arrow of Philosophy", so I took to the translation of a second meaning I found; "To be iron". I chose that for his desire to be stronger both physically and mentally.

5.) What inspired his/her personality?
Any pervert in a manga really. I wanted him to be more humorous since the other characters were more serious. But just like with everyone, he can be different depending on the situation or who he is talking to.

6.) What inspired his/her appearance?
I suppose Serge from Chrono Cross. Obviously, they are very different from each other, except the blue hair. He likes to wear more personal designs that his sister creates and has a pretty typical style in clothing (jeans, t-shirts, sweatshirts, etc).

7.) What inspired his/her powers/fighting style?
He doesn't fight. He's never really been forced into a situation where he needed to. Sure, he can punch and kick, but he never went out of his way to learn. I thought that this would make him more realistic.

8.) Would any voice actors be good for this character?
Hm... Well, for his Japanese voice, the only person I could think of was Soichiro Hoshi. I don't know who would be good for his english voice though.

EVERYONE is probably studying their asses off for finals, right? So am I, or at least I am trying to. Okay, so I have a bio lab final on Wednesday, which also includes a lab report due and a semester long project which consists 4 of the labs we did. But my partner is UNRELIABLE.

For the lab report, she messed up height measurement for our fast plants for a day. That was no big deal. But then she didn't record data for two days. They were completely blank. So our data is messed up. Then, when we were working on the analysis part of it, she doesn't come because she is sick (again) and I'm left to do it all. And I'm supposed to do the lab report with her, but I can never meet up with her. I haven't seen her for the last 2 weeks. So I'll probably do it myself.

Then for the semester long project, we've had some issues. I have half of the pictures for our project (2 labs), so I could do the first half and on her flash drive, she has everything. So I have to rely on her. So I asked her for the pictures just in case (we both ended up losing our flash drives at one time, but we found them) and she said that if she were to send the pictures, it would be like an hour of her life. BOO HOO. An hour? Couldn't she just do something else while it was sending? And it's not like she has to send me ALL of them!

So I emailed her saying we should meet on Wednesday (we had lab off to work on our things) and she said she was free all afternoon. So I waited. FOR 2 AND A HALF HOURS. Should I have waited longer? I didn't care. College is the last place I want to be when there's no class.

Another friend has my chem notes which I need to study for the chem test on Monday. I was going to get them today, but well... kind of a funny story.

I think I had an allergic reaction yesterday. So I was going crazy because my body itched so much. So I have to get my notes tomorrow. But I'm fine now, but I don't even understand how this works. I took a baking soda bath yesterday (which my mom suggested), so the itching went away. Now my skin is very smooth and soft... it's nice. I don't understand how, but if it works, it works.

For Chem and Bio we started a bit, but it was so simplistic, I had to wonder if I was in the right class. In Chem we started from the very beginning, meaning learning what matter, physical changes and chemical changes were. *eye twitches*. Bio, we just stated what made things alive. XD; Yes well...

I also had English today, which is a 1 hour and 40 min. class and I am so excited for it! Again, we talked about the syllabus and learned basic things, but she introduced the books to us and I can't wait! The theme for this semester's course is "Songs and Darkness". Epic man, EPIC.

Well, my school requires me to go to these events today and tomorrow and I will be starting classes on the 3rd. I mean, come on, I want to spend my last two days of summer in peace. I also finally stopped hesitating and got around to reading the new Artemis Fowl Book. I don't really know what I think about it... I like certain parts of it and overall the book wasn't bad in my opinion, but it seemed a bit... I don't know, "off" maybe? Maybe it was the environmental friendly messages, if that wasn't obvious at all in the book.

I'm a big AH fan, so I liked their moments together. So what if they're different species?

Today there were a lot of block parties going on. I never realized that a lot of neighborhoods did that, but then again, my family's pretty anti social. But I was surprised to hear from my parents that my neighbors recognized them because of the fact that I say hi to them whenever I see them pass.

Instead of going to the one that was in my neighborhood though, I went to another one to raise money to help cancer research. It was a lot of fun running the tattoo area, but we didn't have too many kids come until later in the night. So now we're all pretty much covered with them because we were bored at the time.

While I was at the block party though, my parents bought me a car! I was a bit too tired to be surprised though, and the fact they kept pushing me for a car kind of made me guess that I'd get one soon. But I'm happy, because we desperately needed a new car.

This man is most likely a serial killer or sexual predator of some sort. Deviant art staff is handling this for me right now. The man originally added me as Jere1234 and then he notified me that he would be switching to Caeruleum. He asked that I add him. Thinking he was just some nice man who liked my artwork I said "Sure, why not?" On this account he began writing some poems about and TO my girlfriend Kayla, and I. I began to find this odd but being an overly naive and trusting person I was polite about it, commented the poems, thanked him, so on. He wrote a poem about a lifestyle choice that I thought he spent alot of time critisizing for being different than his own and I believe I posted a comment as simple as "Gosh, what have you got against that, anyhow?" The man literally flipped out. He not only wrote two journal entries condemning me and calling me things between immature and evil, but he also sent me notes telling me how "disappointed" he was with me. A man that I don't know in real life, have only talked to online for a few days, is "disappointed with me." He blocked me, and I blocked him back.

Not long after I began to get several favorites and then a watch from the account !kyakuchuu. I noticed the similar style of poetry and similar interests but I hate people who make assumptions and I'd rather not be one of them, so I just figured it was another poet with similar interests. "Kyakuchuu" soon after began calling Kayla and I "muses" and writing poems about us as well. 2KL he called them-- and informed me that this meant "To Kayla and Ellie" There is a numerous list of them in his gallery. He favorited absolutely every work of mine with Kayla in it along side of me and also any of my pictures that showed my feet. (foot fetishist, obsessive personality: bad sign) He wrote me notes telling of his extensive admiration for Kayla and I, his plans for other poems about us, thanking me for being his "inspiration". All of this seemed very creepy, but I was always thinking, what if this is really just some eccentric old man minding his own business, and he just hasn't got anything better to do. I would hate to just hurt some innocent old man by lashing out at him for no reason. HOWEVER upon talking to Kayla about this, she has taken criminal justice classes. She said that many of these traits sounded like BAD traits and BAD signs. She told me about a type of serial killer called "collecters" Who will collect information, pictures, anything about their subjects, and obsess over them, for a long time before they make any move. So now I have to see if I can change just the lab to a Tuesday, or else I have to change my major and possibly have to wait until next year to sign up for both Biology and Chemistry (If you're a Bio major, you have to take both your freshman year and in the same semester). I swear, this school is just constantly screwing me over!

My friends also threw me a surprise birthday celebration on our last day which really made me happy. I got a bag filled with Flaming Hot Cheetos. One of the best birthday gifts ever! I also got .Hack//GU vol. 2 for my birthday from my brothers! I love it because I can't find it anywhere around here. But I'm still obsessively playing Subarashiki kono Sekai (It's a Wonderful World/ The World Ends with You) and I'm on the final boss, but I can't beat it... ;_; I heard that there was more afterward, so I really want to finish it.

What's up with DA's new layout? I mean, it's okay, but I have to reload every other page because of the crappy server. I hope they fix a few things soon. People are saying that they are okay with it, but then I'm seeing a lot of complaining about it on journals, which kinda makes me laugh.

Anyways, how's everyone's summer been? Mine's been kinda boring, other than going to grad parties or a surprise birthday party that wasn't that surprising. Apparently my friends and I are pretty bad at back up planning.

I feel like I'm the only one who's not eager about going to college. I mean, really, is it that big of a deal? I don't see how. I think college is going to suck in all actuality. I'm sick of anything to do with college.

Anyway, the senior party that we had was really fun. I loved the chocolate fountain! God, I wish I could have eaten more from it. Dipping the strawberries in the fountain and eating it was so delicious! All the activities were fun too, as my friends and I saw movies from the film festival, a palm reader, velcro wall, music, video games, photo booths, magicians, and the hypnotist were awesome!

And the best part is, is that I have time to draw now! Oh, and I'm planning on getting a y-gallery account when my birthday comes around, but I'm not sure yet.

I was cleaning my room and found the Beanie Baby Handbook! I felt so nostalgic and instantly started to read it. I forgot they had estimations for the price they would be in the future. Funny enough, the year that they estimated was 2008. Yes, this year. And my freakin' god, some of the beanie babies are worth a lot.

Like Peanut the Dark Blue Elephant is estimated to be at least $7,500 by now. And Peking the Panda is supposed to be worth $4,000 by now. I got a total kick out of it.

The fans. God, the fans. They did something at almost every little thing. In unison. Seriously. Even the parts I didn't find that funny they would laugh at, and I laughed at their reactions. But it was fine at some parts like when a blanket was put on L who was "sleeping" and there was a collective "Aw" in the audience, followed by laughter because of the "aw". We're such nerds. In a good way. The constant clapping got annoying though.

We might go see the Bleach movie that they're only showing for two days too. Saw that in the previews.

Not much in other news though, other then getting closer to graduation and I have a butt load of projects to finish. On Sunday when I was filming for one of those projects however, I shocked by an electric fence (along with a horse) because I subconsciously put my hand on it. I laugh at how stupid I am.

I am SOOOOOOOO glad I preordered it. Holy shit. Seriously, it is so much fun! I need to practice on jumping, but whatever.

All the characters are all so cool! I absolutely love Metaknight, Kirby, Lucas, Shiek and the pokemon trainer. I think the pokemon trainer is the most entertaining. I love the levels, but as usual, Metroid's level is a bitch in itself. But if you have a Wii, you better buy this game! It is horribly addictive. Oh why is tomorrow a monday and not a sunday? I wanna keep playing it.

At least fiction and poetry really got me into a writing mood, so soon I might put up stuff up. I hope my writing's not too terrible.

In other more pointless news, I've finished the first series of .hack games and the first game of the .hack G.U. series. I still have the side missions to do in them though. G.U.'s just so different! The camera's set up as the exact opposite of each other. For the bosses when you're doing the whole knock them down to protect break them then data drain them, it's hard! @_@

But I'm taking a break from them to play my newest obsession... Star Ocean: Till the End of Time! This game is great! The battle system is a little hard (It's mainly the targeting) and I don't understand the inventing thing at all! No matter how many times I read it, I just don't get it! But so far it's a really fun game and I spent an entire 2 days playing it instead of homework. I like Fayt and Albel. Albel has cool hair.

Wow... reading the last two paragraphs makes me sound like such a gaming nerd. lol. Well, I guess I am a nerd. Anyways, to finish this up, I have a lot of art that I've drawn, so I'll post that soon.

This is how it went: Monday was of course pajama day, Tuesday was Spandex/Jersey day (shudders), Wednesday was Where's Waldo day, Thursday was Lumberjacks and CEOs vs. Hippies, Trees and animals day (Weirdest one yet) and today was of course Color day. It was also activity day, and my friends and I decided that we were going to the Man pageant! Oh god, it was great! I hope they put it on youtube. lol.

I'm mad that I signed Fiction and Poetry Writing for my second hour class, but they switched mine to first hour. I usually wouldn't mind if it weren't for the fact that all of my friends who are taking it are in the second hour. So now I'm alone and it bugs me, because I don't have very much faith in my writing. I'd rather have my friends read my work than others in my grade. I guess all I can do is deal with it.

Last Friday I went to 's house to have a Rock Band party. Can you believe it? We played for 8 hours straight. Noon to night. It was AWESOME. I also learned something new. I can't play drums or sing. XD

I finally got my own copy of .hack//Quarantine! There weren't any copies around where I live, so I had to order it. *pouts* I started playing it this weekend to relieve stress and I bought the first game to the G.U. series! It's very different. I actually bought the G.U. game first and started playing it, but then got Quarantine, so I stopped and switched games. XD

In other news, I have to wear a traditional Vietnamese long dress for New Years when it comes. So far, I like it a lot, but I'm a little bit embarrassed to be wearing it. I mean, I haven't worn one since I was three and had my hair in two small buns on the side of my head. lol. I personally think I was an ugly child when I was younger.

I also got fish yesterday from my biology teacher, because we were doing experiments with them and she was going to feed the rest of them to her frog Bubba (that is a vicious frog!). So I took some home with me, and one died today. I think it got it's head stuck in the gravel. That's such a horrible way to die. Freeing it and seeing it slowly float up was so depressing. Man, my first pets and one of them ends up committing suicide the second day with me No wonder I'm not allowed to have pets. *sigh*

I haven't been drawing a lot of anime stuff and I can tell, it's really affecting me. What is it about most art teachers hating that style? Over the weekend, two girls from my school died in a severe car accident. I'd rather not go into details because it's just depressing, and this tragedy has bothered me all weekend. Stupid morbid fasination humans have. It was disturbing at school because many of my classes consisted of silence. What really pissed me off though were the people who were taking advantage of being able to leave class even though they didn't know the two girls. Maybe I feel frustrated or guilty for not feeling sad enough? I know I didn't know them personally, but I can't help but feel strongly about this. Sorry, I had to vent; the depressing part will be over.

In other news, I'm having printer (which doubles as my scanner) troubles, so the pictures I was going to put on, I can't for a while. Sorry. But I've gotten back into writing, so hopefully the chapters to my fanfics (on FF.net you MR fans) and original stories will be typed out soon. I outlined the fanfic chapters during class (since my classes let you do anything today) so I'll work on those first.

I've been focusing a lot on art but I keep getting behind in those classes. I know I'm slow at art, but it's hard to keep up. Actually I should be working on it now. lol. Also, apparently my school has an art club! I did not know that! But then again, a lot of people missed that apparently because last year there were like 4 members (who became our leaders for the club). Now there's like 50 something kids in the club so we have to use 2 or 3 classrooms. lol. What probably amazed me the most is that the fee is cheap! Yay!

4. I draw while I watch TV/a movie/watching my bros play a game or else I will fall asleep

5. The only style I can really draw is anime; anything else sucks

6. I research a lot for my artwork

7. I sometimes draw characters just so I can draw the clothes

8. I really hate doing value (which is why it's so bad)

9. I draw original pictures better then fanart, but I always want to draw more fanart then original.

10. I force my brothers to pose for me if I ever need it, even though I have a small wooden mannequin that I could use. XD

The reason for the title is because this morning my dad locked himself into the garage. So he got out of it and rang the doorbell and knocked on the door for like 5 minutes at 7 in the morning in his pajamas. Seriously, I feel bad for our neighbors. We also had a pretty big storm last night so I couldn't sleep until it calmed down around 4 in the morning. Try waking up to that. XD I ended up getting sick again too. ><

Anyway, we finally got a Wii! Of course, the first game I got was Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. It's so much fun, and I absolutely LOVE the music (that really nice, melancholy song that is used a lot is my favorite). I also defeated .hack//mutation (not the extra boss yet though)! YAY! Now I need to find the third game. I really want to try playing the G.U. games too. Does anyone know if they're good? I've been in a real gaming mood, so I've just been doing that lately.

I've also been doing a bit of art and writing, but it's hard to do because I caught a cold, so hopefully when I feel a little better, I can focus more of that (I'm lightheaded most of the time, so I don't know how I beat the boss in .hack)...

Cecil and Kain from FF4 are in there! (They are the first ones you see, in that order) and Zidane and Kuja from FF9! And of course, they have to include characters from FF7... I love their voices! Especially Kuja's voice... he just sounds so evil! *fangirl squeels*
