And it was too happy. Being a vampire is a dark curse, one not to be taken lightly or made into an irresistable love interest.

I swore I could do better. That may be a bit bold, but I am trying. Gosh darn, I am trying. And yes, there will be love.

Anyway, wish me luck. I am having some trouble with the pacing. I am wildly impatient, and getting to main stuff right away, which makes for a rather short story. But I think, in the end, that it will end up well enough.

Also, I am in the market for a job. I have degrees in Religious Studies and Government. If you've got anything, let me know. haha

1. I prefer pre-modern times. I like to take up things and ideas from days past. The Middle Ages are fun. Mostly I think ancient and Medieval thought was more accurate philosophically than what we've got now.

2. In the vein of #1, I have taken up knitting and spinning. It's really calming, and it's like a connection to everyone who knitted or spun before you. Or maybe I'm just insane.

3. I LOVE celtic folk music so so so much.

4. Cats are awesome. I have five at home, and when I'm in Charlottesville (at school) I foster for the SPCA, ie I take care of them if they are sick or too young to be adopted until they are healthy and ready for adoption.

5. I'm engaged. A lot of people think that's weird.

6. I converted to Catholicism. A lot people think that's really weird too, ;-P

7. I am trying to build a small scale functioning trebuchet. (that's a type of catapult that works by dropping a weight). I did this in high school, but this time I want to keep it and actually use it. :-D

8. In August, I am hiking the last 56 mi of the Appalachian Trail in Maine. I recently (like in May) had my knee start hurting after hikes, so I have to try to work out all the little muscles and tendons and stuff so that it doesn't bother me on the trail.

9. uh...MissCyraf recently got me into my first anime: Bleach and we are working on an awesome fanfic for it, if only she would write her part. *grr at casey* lol

10. This summer, I am sporting a red bikini!

Anyways, so I have up some of my attempts at drawing the characters. I'm not much of an artist, so it takes some practice. I have up some of screen shots I use as references and some ones that I plan to use soon.

I'm hoping that as I practice, my skills will improve. That's why I put up all 5 of my attempts at Hitsugaya, (please full view all of them). I think that by 4 and 5 they are looking better.

My favorite characters are: Hitsugaya, Urahara (and the Yoruici pairing), and Ichigo (with Rukia).
-These 3 guys are basically awesome beyond awesome. and I'm a huge IchigoXRukia shipper. Urahara and Yoruichi are officially together in the show, which works, and Hitsugaya should totally be with Hinamori. (and Nel, Nel is also awesome)

Also up are a few (2) of my first trials with charcoals. They are cool, but overall not worth the effort.
