CONTEST CONTEST CONTEST! That's right I'm holding a contest! I am leaving for the beach tomorrow (June 8) but all you have to do is post the link to the entry in the journal or send it to me in a note. ^^

Please do not rant about the contest or the characters, it's a comic not real life.

Subject
I need your help to create a character for my Comic Haunt!

What I want
I need a character for one of the Seven Deadly Sins (must be a wolfish- mixing species is ok). Choose one of the below and draw him/her. Multiple entries are ok.

The ones that need to be created are-
-Gul (the sin of gluttony) male
-Acedia (the sin of sloth-being lazy) female
-Lux (the sin of lust) male -WARNING! he will be a homosexual-
-Invidia (the sin of envy) male
-Ira (the sin of wrath) female

What else?
Along with a picture, I need a brief summery on how the animal died and why it became this sin.
They can range in ages
Jewelry is ok
Wings/horns/fins/ect. are fine
They must look wolfish (but can be mixed with other animals)

What I'm looking For
I'm looking for creativity! You don't have to be the best writer or artist (I obviously am not), but I would like some thought and original ideas in these. ^^

I Will
Absolutely give you credit every time the character is referred to or used in the comic.

There will only be one or two winners

Ok, so I'm leaving for North Carolina in 3 days (leaving June 8th). I will try to get some art an avatars out to people, but I can't promise I will get it all done. And guess what? I might color some of my hair pink! I am so excited, it is ubber easy for me and it has taken forever to finally get my mom to agree! It's not like I'm totally pinkifying my hair, just streaks. But like I just can't wait! I have tried Kool-Aid before (works pretty good until you go swimming) and that hair spray stuff (NEVER COME OUT I SWEAR)!
Otherwise, yeah that's all I have to say today.

Sorry, no people in a pool for real. But this past Memorial Day the pools were opened. Hope you all do some major swimming (remember, swimming is good for you). I am in an oober good mood because I passed all my SOLs (it's a big deal for me). Which means I don't have to go to school the 6th, 7th, or 8th! Well, that does this mean to you? It meant, that even though I closed down the requests for avatars yesterday (5/29/07), if you requested before right now, at this moment...

The journal title is from my buddy Sean during art class. Some wonderful people in the public school system find it amusing to take huge chunks of clay (that good expensive stuff) and lob it halfway across the room into people of the wall. -_-
So what did Sean do? He made an interesting comparison.
"Come on guys stop being stupid. Wasting clay is like sticking clay down your pants." Boy that got a good laugh out of us.

Dealing with my comic, I need to know how to get nice smooth not blurry outlines... how do I do that?
I have seen many comic artists achieve this, but ho?

So yesterday pretty much -pardon my language- sucked.

1) on our first flight to Dallas, our wonderful pilots got lost 8 times (I don't blame them really; I think flying is hard) but it took us 4 hours to get there.
2) Texas isn't used to cold and a tiny bit of rain- our flight was delayed
3) After charging my i-pod reading english and watching the cute boy with his gymnast sister, and the hat guy with the puppy we got on the plain.
Here's where things went wrong
While we went to Denver, our luggage stayed in Dallas... and while the other people staid in Texas, their luggage cam with us.
But, hey, the wonderful airline that made my day (and kept me up to 4:00 am (6:00am back home) finally found our luggage.
Thanks for letting me vent.

Anyway, it's about a traveling group that imitates many oddities (dragon, werewolf, bearded lady, ect.) I wouldn't call it a "freak show" because they have the atmosphere of a circus- sometimes. Ok maybe they are a tiny bit like a "freak show". Anyway, the characters involve a female character, two male characters, and three canines. 'Till I get the first page up this is all I'm telling you.
