...Just a Journal


I haven't update any journal since....a long time ago.
After finally started drawing again I realized it's time to update my journals again. And I found this great css created by =edmunn
Coverflow just like Ipod, by the way I named my Ipod 'the Joker' :D

Like I've mentioned after the graduation this July I moved to Shenzhen, a southern city near Hongkong in China. Started a new job I'm not sure if I can do it well, rented a over-priced apartment, and had been to more places than I've ever been. I heard news that it has already snowed in Harbin, but I'm still wearing Tee here. Lots of changes, huh.

Besides these I have nothing much else to say. I'll try to keep drawing again and make my life a little bit happier. Though boring job sucks, you guys rock! DA rocks! :headbang:

The deadline of my thesis is in one week, and at the same time i have to write a very long (and something i'm not quite familiar with) article for a magazine. So this is it, I'm busy and I'm feeling good (really?). All my drawing plans have to be delayed.

And I don't have the time to get another one right now because I am so busy with my thesis or whatever it is called. It has to be done right away and there is still lots work for me to finish. kind of make me freaking out.

Moreover, I am just told one of my cousins got this terrible disease. I don't know the precise situation yet. I just know she was supposed to get married this August. I guess I'll try to make some time to visit her lately, hope she will be OK.

So, always, harsh time for me? First I have to get used to the old look of DA.

I received lots of presents from all my friends, it's far more than any other year before. Books, Cards and the surprising cyber-gifts that makes me really excited. What is more great is this stamp made by :iconkatesw:, I don't know what more to say, it's totally great!



My job hunting is still going on, if i get lucky i can be settled before Chinese new year. And there's an exam of my last course coming, (I hate any maths-related course!) So I'm sure I'll get busy again pretty soon. At least I can just think about DA and you guys all the time, and looking forward to my last long winder vocation and of course home sweet home. The only pity of these days is that it does snow here in Harbin.

As I can see from my gallery stats, I've become less active since Sep. I kind of busy these days, Job hunting, 'research work', those things I have to do. But I will find things I really like to do. Last month I saw Linkin Park Live Concert, that was really great!! I read and write and watch movies, and I'm starting to write another article for HIT western music magazine now. And of course, I'll try to draw more.

~ :iconvigshane: No doubt she'll be the first one in my mind. I met her through lotr.cn, she's a girl with great passion and talent. And she's also the one who leads me here on DA!

~ :iconkatesw: She's a good friend I got to know through VigShane. With great cerebration, she always show some different view from the common thoughts. Her works are great.

~ :iconfalconfan: Great artist and a kind friend! Her comments are really helpful and inspiring. And I must thanks again for her helpful imformation, it was really useful!

~ :icongrantgoboom: I always like his powerful comic style!

~ :icontrickyvicky1978: Her pencil works are always have the greatest details!

2. What is your favorite kind of art here on DA and why?
That would be traditional pencil arts, especially portraits. I can learned a lot from those great works and try to make mine better. And I think portraits can express a lot. I also like photographs here.

3.What is your favorite kind of color and what image do you combine with it here on DA?
Well, I guess I love dark color, or simplely black, white and grey. Most pencil works are composed with these.

The Lord of the Rings! Actually I'm a movie fan, most of my favs on DA are movie/character/actors/actress related.

I always want to pay a visit to New Zealand, the sacred place for Ringers. And Ireland, where many great people I worship come from, must be a marvelous place.

7. What are your favorite animals or plants and what images or artists here on DA are reminding you of them?
Basically I'm not interested in animals or plants on DA. But I think dogs are great, especially giant ones :D
And when it comes to LOTR fanart or all kinds of knight stories, horses are indispensable.
