To whom it may conern,

I feel the need to delay a little longer before I get back to work. So, as a spawn of my procrastination, I have given bith to this brand new journal. I forewarn you of the lack of "D"s... My "D" button is on the fritz.

Onward and upward!

A while back (almost three years it is safe to presume) I was in truck stop in Austria- very nice by the way, I commend the owners of said truck stop- and my dear friend (now in Hong Kong) ran up to me in a flurry of excitement. "Look!" Said she, "Is this a man, or a woman?" There, in that nice Austrian Turck stop, I saw Bill Kaulitz. In all his andryogous glory.

Why is this important you may be asking?

Well, in truth it isn't. But I have time... So here I am.

I acutally guessed correctly and said it was a boy. But (to me) that was only logical in said situaiton... If she had run up to me and showed me a picture of a women dressed more masculine and repeated the same question my answer would'v been, "Well, it's a woman."

Backwards logic I suppose.

Anyway, I was there introduced and then from that point onward I listened to their music and saw their music videos. Went to a concert, and had a CD signed. All as most do.

But the question is... Do I love Tokio Hotel? No.

Do I like them? Yes.
But they shall never be my more favored band.

Their individual style is intresting, and I admire them for achieving such fame (not without reprecussions as we may or may not be aware).

Time and my own limitations (ones I created for myself) have made it so I must close thise journal. It's sad. There are so many things in this world that could be discussed. But more would be accomplished face-to-face.

Thank you for your time,
Tianlong ( I do believe that is the first time I have ever used a smiley...)

P.S.
To whom it may concern,

Please, I ask for this one thing, my opinion doesn’t matter. Whether you love or hate the album, it’s not about what I think, but how you relate personally to the album; Think and remember it as only what it means to you.

I would also like to say; I absolutely adore Tokio Hotel's album "Scream” and “Zimmer 483", and because of their previous albums I was rather excited for their album "Humanoid" to come out, the short song snippets I had heard before sounded impressive and I concluded that the album would be something I would at the least consider going out and buying.

The album opens with “Noise”, this track right off the bat shows the change in sound Tokio Hotel has gone through, the addition of electronics adds a certain kick to the song with out totally blocking out the guitar and drums. The melody was quite catchy as well! It wasn’t a bad song to start out with, the only problem was the rather annoying repetition of the word ‘noise’. But other than that, a decent song!

The album then goes on to “The Dark Side of the Sun” and “Automatic”, both good songs are enjoyable and very danceable! I thoroughly enjoyed “The Dark Side of the Sun”! “Automatic” Is slightly over-played and I believe Bill used some auto-tuning in the vocals, but it wasn’t over done. I have problems with the music video, but I won’t go into that.

Then it’s onto “ World Behind My Wall”, I absolutely despise the name. It sounds too similar to “Wonder Wall”, and I really have no great love for that song. Other than the name, I have no quarrels with the song, the melody is well done, and this song sounds more like the “Old” Tokio Hotel. Slight Auto-tuning, but nothing more.

“Humanoid”, it starts out with heavy guitar, very rock sounding. But all and all, it’s nothing unique.

“Forever Now”, the opening has a noise that reminds me of some strange sound I might’ve heard in Morocco. This is where we really see the band start to lean toward the electronic experimentation. The rock and electronic compliment each other rather well though.

The &#147ain of Love”, what can I say about that? It starts out with a nice heavy beat, and then comes the vocals. Bill’s (?) voice is deeper and resembles the voice of Luminor from Cinema Bizarre. It was unexpected, but the goal of this album was to surprise.

Then, it’s “Dogs Unleashed”. I have major problems with this song. The jarring electronics take away from the track ( In my opinion mind you, remember this is only my opinion). I despise it, Bill hardly sings… he talks to a beat, no guitars and the drums are nothing more than a synthetic beat. It sounds more robotic, than anything I have heard so far. Music isn't written by robots, don't attempt to make it sound like it is. Humanity helps us relate to each other.

“Human Connect to Human”, becomes so unbalanced between rock and electronica it literally jars the ear drums. There is a... background sound... which resembles an electronic version of a fox-hunting trumpet. A lot of this track sound is out of place and awkward.

“Hey you” Sounds like a mimicry of Queen. A good hard beat, I liked that, it made me want to jump up and down to a certain extent. Bill’s vocals are nasally and rather distracting though, they take away from the possibility of this track. Two Words: Voice Lessons

“Love and Death” It's fine. Except for the auto-tuning in Bill’s voice. If he can’t sing that high, he should have a machine do it for him.

“Zoom Into Me”, in my opinion, it’s a mediocre way to end an album. The piano was wonderful though, a nice touch. It wasn’t that impressive though.

Overall, the album is, alright. There isn’t anything earth-shattering about it or unique about it. It was a mediocre album, not bad and not good. The lyrics have limited subject matter and just don’t appeal to me. As previously mentioned I debated whether or not to buy it, but decided against. For those die-hard Tokio Hotel fans though, this is will hopefully provide them with joy and not with the disappointment it gave to me.

-TL

Am. So. Happy. To. See. My. Family.

Kapeesh?... Good.

The first stop was Italy. In which we explored Rome, the Vatican, and several other small towns that I cannot pronounce nor write down correctly. The driving over in Italy is horrendous, they do not slow down when they see you on the streets. They had numerous small cars, which impressed me simply because of our lack of small fuel efficient cars in the US. Rome was bueatiful and contained many works of art that I myself could not help but gape at. It not only left me with an impression to see more, but also with a want to never leave.

The Vatican is acutally a small country run by the Pope. So the Pope is not only the head of the Roman Catholic Church, but also the head of the smallest country in the world. He speaks to the crowds every Wedsenday and says the same thing in 64 different languages.

The Vatican is also home to the Sistine Chapel, the interior was painted by the sculptor Michelanglo ( one word, not two) . It is a truly inspiring piece of work, and for the record it is copyrighted by some Japanese company... Along with The David.

Never have been a fan of forums. You can't tell what the words you type do to the other person on the other side of that computer. We think we are only talking to a electronic device, and the people aren't really people. No... they are only a small box the holds a picture of some random object or thing. The pictures don't show emotion, they don't show hurt or pain. Please respect each other on a forum.

-Tianlong

P.S. Hm, I wrote a small novel so it seems.

Okay, I had my brief spazz attack.

As we all should know the Phantom of the Opera is travelling around the U.S. and my sister and I have the great delight of attending one of the performances. even though my sister constantly argues with me about the small inconsistences between the book by Gaston Leroux and the play by Andrew Lloyd Webber. Her main issue is that she believes Erik is not ugly enough ( In the book his entire face is deformed and he lacks a nose)... and that Christine does not have blonde hair. I tell her that Mr. Webber used a thing called "Artistic License", allowing him to change the play in any way he sees fit, whether or not we agree with it. She also would probalay like to say that she thinks they replaced the Persian with a Monkey music box in the 2004 version.

My sister and I have a obsession with the Phantom of the Opera and we have watched almost every film version of the Phantom of the Opera, including the cartoon version, which I have to say is probalay the most accurate. The film by Lon Chaney is accurate... to some extent. My sister says that the scences were too long I then reminded her that it was a silent film, and so all movements and experssions had to be overdone. Her and I both agree, that we didn't like how Lon Chaney potrayed the Phantom, and we didn't prefer the ending much either...

-Tianlong

P.S. I apologize for any spelling mistakes...

I suppose it doesn't really matter.

Hm, working on a lion canvas painting, unfornatley (I don't think I spelled that write) it is to hot and humid to get any painting done, because my mother only allows me to paint outside. I plan on setting up a studio... thing... inside the garage somewhere.

I wish some one knew what to do about inconvient game characters?
