The neighbour's kids are here atm. We made a special treat bag for them. My neighbour is talking about Guitar Hero now XD. Apparently he can't hear me playing when he's in his house but he can when he's outside XD. Ya, I usually have it pretty loud. But hey, when you're playing "Beat It" or "Hot For Teacher" you're gonna wanna blast it and let everyone around you hear it. At least, that's my opinion.

Gameplay

It's basically everything you had in Rock Band 2 but done a lot better. The venues are a combination of the old-school song scrolling mixed with specific gigs. I really like it.


Setlist

This is definately the strongest setlist so far. Not only do you have 85 songs, but you also get 15 pre-made tracks created by Neversoft and an unlimited amount of songs in GHTunes. I was just checking out some of the songs in GHTunes and I'll have to say I'm actually quite impressed at what people have been able to do in just 3 days. I plan on making songs just as soon as I finish the guitar and drum careers. The first song I plan on making will be E1M1 from DooM and Ultimate DooM


Guitar/Bass

The guitar is amazing. The slider bar works perfectly and works very well for strumming. The strum bar is longer, contured better and slightly quieter. No flaws to be found atm.


Vocals

THEY'RE HARD!!! Seriously, I can FC most RB2 songs on hard. In GH:WT I can only get around a 90%.......ON MEDIUM!!! Overall, the vocals are very well done and the ability to launch starpower anytime is very nice


Drums

Got a soft couch near you? Wanna go hit it with a spoon or a stick? That's how quiet these new drums are. Seriously, I compared them to my RB drums and I was just blown away by the difference. It has GREAT bounce and the pedalis much easier to use. The only flaw is that most of the sets are way too under-sensitive. Thankfully, there will be a patch very soon which will allow you to set your own sensitivity for each individual pad/cymbol.


Overall

Great game in every sense. It's deffinately a must-buy for any rhythm gamer out there. Good luck finding it though. The full band bundles are selling faster than hams at a fat camp.

Luckily, I've found a copy elsewhere and EB was good enough to give me a full refund and my pre-order (still keeping the $5 on my pre-order just incase I don't get it in time) Anyway, after that's all done and over with I'll be selling Rock Band 1 (for the Xbox 360) with my drum set and 1 of my guitars from GH3 (the one I don't use so it's not abused or damaged in any way) Probably gonna sell all 3 of those together for around $80 since I'll have a new drum set and guitar compatible with all the games.

The game disk has no scratches or anything like that and works perfectly.

The guitar has only been used a few times and once for the Endless Setlist in RB1. The tilt sensor seems too sensitive and tends to auto-launch starpower when it's tilted just a little bit but this doesn't seem to be the case with RB. For some reason, it works perfectly in RB.

The drums have no damage at all, work perfectly and have been coin modded to reduce double hits, increase sensitivity and reduce dropped notes. I will remove the coin mod if you wish, but I strongly recommend you keep it.

As I said, this will be for sale once I have GH:WT. I'll be posting the price, pictures and info on the school bulletin board near the office once I am ready to sell it. Even though I'm trying to sell it, people I disslike will be completely ignored if they so much as ask me anything about it.

note: Rock Band 2 is likely to be going on sale sometime in the future since I disslike it :/ Possibly before christmas. I dunno.

ANYWAY, about the actual game. As compared to RB1...........it's pretty much the exact same, like I said it would be. The tour mode has replaced the regular mode everyone is used to. It's basically band world tour, but single player. You also earn fans in singleplayer, that's nice. The graphics are like....exactly the same. They finally have cheats now, but they're the same cheats GH already has, nothing new. As for the new songs............they're pretty good. The main bad thing is, all the songs that were transfered from RB1 have no scores. You gotta start all over again I still say GH:WT has the stronger setlist. All-in-all, RB2 doesn't really do anything new or exciting, but if you play RB, you pretty much have to get it if you want new DLC. Now that I know what GH:WT is up against, I know it really has no competition.

Well, I've completed my GH3 goals and I'm happy ^_^ Though there weren't many things to complete. Just the hardest songs. DWDTG, TTFAF and the DF pack.

That's right. I finally did it. It happened yesterday at about 6:50pm. As of now (excluding Aerosmith and the 2 noob packs for GH3) I've beaten every song in the entire GH series. I've tried to beat this song too many times to count and failed around 70% every time. I haven't played it for about a month, so I decided to try it again. 1 try....just 1 try this month and I beat it. Odd thing is, I didn't even need starpower. Usually I need it for 2 crazy parts, but I stayed in yellow durring BOTH of them. I seriously couldn't stay still after I beat it. I was like.....shaking. So yeah, I'll try to get it on video next time.

I just finished Trigun a few minutes ago and I'd have to say that was my second favorite anime, right behind Chobits. Vash is just such a lovable character XD He reminds me of myself a lot.

Anyway, something really weird happened within the last 2 days. I've actually been getting a lof of attention from 6.....that's right, 6 grade 7 girls. It's really freaky and I have no idea why it's happening. Well, one of them is Nami's little sister, so I don't mind her. She's awesome to the extreme. But the other 5....they kinda creep me out a bit. 2 of them, apparently, think I'm really hott. I was a little concerned when they told me that, considering I've never even seen them before o.O And a few people already know about the last 3. I think they're friends of Nami's sister or something. Anyway, one of them has been stalking me for about 2 weeks now trying to convince me that I got Nami's sister's name wrong, when I know for I fact what her name is. As I was saying, I was standing just inside the school's front doors when she confronted me for money. She asked me if she looked like she needed to eat and I told her "no". I think I insulted her so I quickly appologized and as soon as I did she was begging for money again. Then 2 of her sriends show up to back her up. I was trying to get out of it by being my weird self and trying to confuse the hell out of them, but it didn't work In the end, I just felt kinda bad for them so I just reached into my pocket and tried to give them some change. Only problem was, I accidently pulled out my $5 bill. Before I knew it, it was gone and so were the 3 girls. They were all screaming like you would hear at a 90's boyband concert *pukes at the thought of N'Sync* So there I was, confused and poor. I also did something else later after school....but you guys wouldn't be interested in that. Actually, you probably would, but I'm not telling you. It's nobody's buisness

Well, that was one long-ass journal. I should have put a note at the beginning telling you to go get a drink or something first. So yeah....deffinately the most interesting week so far for me. Hopefully things don't get any weirder than this...........till next year.

It's basically Rock Band........but improving on everything.

1. Vocal and drums are now implimented.
2. The new drums look better, they have more pads, they're a lot tougher, they're quiet, and you can use starpower...WHENEVER YOU WANT DX.
3. They revolutionized the guitar in some way that it's changing the way we play (still no news about this)
4. Custom song creation.
5. Playing with bands online progresses your band offline.
6. VAN FUCKIN' HALEN!!!
7. Fully customizable in-game instruments.
8. Character creation said to be as in-depth as that of Tiger Woods PGA and Tony Hawk series
9. ALL songs will be master tracks. No shitty covers
10. Boss battles will be returning but they will play much differently than in GH3, not focusing on power-up attacks
11. Guitar will now have open notes and 4 note chords.
12. There will be a very heavy focus on downloadable content.
13. You will be able to upload/download custom-made songs.
14. New "Easy Rhythm" difficulty for people wanting to get into GH.
15.With some of the biggest companies in the video game industry, (Neversoft, Activision, Red Octane, and Blizzard) Guitar Hero 4 has the biggest selection of music artists of any game to this date. Far surpassing that of Rock Band.
16. (Rumor) Buckethead - Nottingham Lace!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All-in-all, this will be the be-all, end-all rhythm game. And...there's no nicer way to say this, but it's gonna make Rock Band a useless, loud, cheap piece of shit.

If you believe that Rock Band will still be better than Guitar Hero 4 in ANY way, please discuss it here. I'd love to hear your argument of why.
