In other news...

I've been on First shift at work for the last 2 weeks it was kinda nice coming home during the day the last 2 weeks but also a pain to get up to an alarm clock in the morning. I've only been on first shift these last 2 weeks because a coworker who works the same job as I do has been on vacation for the last 2 weeks and I filled in for his shift. I'll have to do it again in the coming months as well because since he's been there such a long time he's got 6 weeks of vacation to use up.

And Finally...

Im still working on my latest CG drawing the background is taking a seriously long time with the small amount of time I have for it because of work but I am making progress on it and i'll hopefully finish that sometime in the future. It's been a while since I did a full blown background scene for a picture. and thats about that other than that i've been watching the last 8 episodes of Code Geass alot lately on DVD it didnt surprise me the one bit that it was made Best Anime of the Year of 2008 I can't wait till they start releasing the second season episodes on DVD but I have been watching them on them on Adult Swim.

Also i gotta find out if my current version of Photoshop CS1 will run on Vista that i have but they said i should be and ok hopefully my and scanner will run on Vista as well because all the hardware im running right now is on XP.

well thats it needless to say with all the money i just spent this will be one monster computer.

and its gotta link attached to it DO NOT!! click that link because it will send comments like that through your account and onto other deviations

I've also read in another journal if you do click that link clean out your Internet Cookies and also change your DA account password
otherwise its a good possibility you'll lose your account.

on the downside of this promotion though is that I haven't been putting my graphic design education into practice ever since graduating college 18 months ago so alot of things really arent fresh in my mind and now I gotta get use to working with Quark and Indesign again after so long but i managed to get the quickstart books today at Barnes & Noble so i'll be able to relearn the software faster.

So Saturday afternoon I went to Best Buy and I bought a Samsung 24 inch widescreen flatpanel TV it costed me like about $520 since i had my $75 giftcard to bring the price down a little it would have been almost $600 without it.

I also went on a shopping spree a bit and bought Phantasy Star Universe: Ambition of the Illuminus and King of Fighters XI, and I gotta unlock Mai Shirunai to play her in that game.

well i guess im done here for now if my screen starts flashing on and off again like it did earlier when i started it up i'll be installing the new flatscreen probably later Sunday

and now the bad news we got a phone call from my grandma telling me that my cousin Tony was found dead on the streets of Chicago from what i heard today the police investigated what happened and found no evidence of foul play. So now an autopsy is going to be performed to see how he exactly died. well anyway the funeral is going to be on Wednesday for him. this has to be at the worst time too just before Easter.

I guess thats all i gotta sya cya later everyone im watching Howls Moving Castle right now and I seem to be coming down with something as well thats something I also don't need right now.

Thats right TORNADOES what the hell is going on this is extremely rare for us luckily they didnt hit my house but they did come awfully damn close to my area but they did manage to cause quite a bit of damage in the Town of Wheatland, and Twin Lakes where they took the most damage luckily nobody was seriously hurt.

What a way to start of 2008 whats next 5 feet of snow in the middle of July?

Well I just found out today that the strength of the two twisters that touched down in my area the one closest to me in the Town of Wheatland was an F3 a moderate tornado and the one that hit the city of Kenosha was estimated as an F1

The Zappa group begun the episode by invading Whiskers territory but the Whiskers did drive them off thanks in part of being the biggest group in the area but when the Zappa withdrew they left one of their pups Axel behind, Mitch found little Axel and brought her back to Flower and in amazement Flower spared his life and he was adopted into the Whiskers group. later they return home and find a venomous Cape Cobra near their home so they frantically mobbed the snake and were succesful but the snake went off in the wrong direction and ended up finding their burrow in desperation Flower bravely went inside the burrow to take on the snake and defend her newborn pups she was successful but having saved her pups she herself took a fatal Cobra bite to the head and she died she was dominant female of the Whiskers for 4 years.

Now who will take over as the new dominant female of the Whiskers my choices are Daisy, Rocketdog (who was acting dominant during flowers absence in the previous few episdoes) and my outside pick would be Mozart who's currently with the Starski group.

when they get a new dominant female I wonder whats going to happen with Zaphod will he stay dominant male or will he end up losing his spot possibly to Mitch who seems to be an extremely responsible and strong meerkat

The next few episodes are really going to be interesting to watch.

I went in for an interview today for a place called Promotions Unlimited just outside of Racine in Sturtevant and managed to get the internship which could eventually go into a permanent position. I'll be working there Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays.

I'm hoping I can get the permanent position and finally break out of this crappy job im in now.
