Well, tons of things have happened recently. Not much good either... In my last journal I mentioned that I had gotten a new laptop and scanner as well... And then... stupid debt collector's called and decided that they were going to threaten to take us to court and I had to take them back in order to pay part of the stupid debt... I'm furious about it of course... And I had to get my own internet connection seperate from my landlords because they're jerks about sharing a connection... So bills are definitely not being paid easily, practically not at all. I honestly hope that we can catch up on it so I can keep coming online. And we've come to the point of trying to deal with this that gonna say screw them to the collectors. We don't have the money to pay them what they want us to, so tired of it!

Besides this amount of great stress I was happy at one point with the idea that I was going to have some of my art included in an art auction but the person in charge of arranging it was so incredibly incompetent they managed to mistake my artwork for my friends even though our styles are different and my signature is nowhere near hers. So my stuff didn't get put out because they claimed that they had too much stuff out (nowhere near as much as last year's) Oh, and the woman didn't put tickets to the side for my husband and I like we'd been told for the event. So needless to say, that event turned out to be highly disappointing... On the upside of it, I get to keep my paintings, which I like to think they turned out very well.

Working on obtaining a career and funding in order to start education towards that, so that's another thing distracting me from my artwork, so going a little slowly. Unfortunately, I'm also having flair ups of my tendonitis so my time in working on stuff is limited to less then I would like. Even typing is hurting recently. Other things that have made me slow on working on my art is that for over the last week I was really sick with the flu. I don't think it was the H1N1... but even if it was, I'm getting better slowly. Hopefully soon I'll be 100% healthy again...

I'm considering doing something like art trades for X-mas gifts for others, don't know for sure. Hopefully soon I'll have a better idea about all that.

The entries that were put in were nice, and I appreciate the 3 people who took the time to do them. However, I'm very disappointed in the lack of interest everyone else showed... Normally and most of the time, I'm a fairly pessimistic person... (as some may have noticed lol) however it's always a good feeling when you experience a nice event and come across one of the few people in this world that are nice. Especially when you're used to the people in this world on the lower end, the ones that will treat you poorly without a second thought or consideration. Anyways, my best friend

did a very generous thing by giving me a 3 month subscription as a surprise. So as some of you may have actually noticed... (sometimes I wonder why people watch me if they're not even going to do/say anything... kinda discouraging...) I drew a picture to thank her for her kindness. She'd mentioned she would like a picture drawn of her character Nayiah and so I did that for her. Glad that she really liked it

Anywho, I recently got a new laptop so it may take me a bit to get everything sorted out, transferred over, installed, etc including my tablet and... my. brand. new. printer/copier/SCANNER. :giggles: Yep I now have a scanner! So happy about that! I plan on definitely getting some good stuff in now that I have it. Well, that's all for now.

Well, well it's almost been 3 months since I last posted something here. Honestly I feel bad about that for those who made the effort to keep up with me. Sorry about it. Up until recently however I've just been feeling really down. Not that I'm 100% better mind, but I'm at a point now where I feel more motivated again. Also been feeling more artsy, so I'm hoping (key word is hoping) to get more done and posted soon. I bought some new paints recently along with a new sketchbook and charcoal pencils to give that a try. As for computer art, done on my tablet, etc that will prolly be awhile to come still. One of the 'fun' things I ended up dealing with while not being overly active was the reformatting of my laptop. *sob* After all these years I actually got a virus, and a stubborn one and since my computer had been running slow at the time I decided screw it, time for a format. Backed everything up and poof, clean puter. I just haven't gotten around to reinstalling every single program yet, including my tablet drivers and my drawing programs. I may use this as a chance to try out some of the others I've heard. Dunno.
Health related, I haven't been sick (yay!) for a while, at least physically. Mentally... still having fun with the med cocktail to find out what works. But people have said they've noticed a bit more of a positive attitude about me, so maybe, just maybe things are working out that way. Biggest problem right now are the dreams... due to the meds I'm on it's made my dreams much more vivid and given me nightmares. I hadn't had many since I was kid until now and I'm sure you can guess that this isn't having a positive effect on my sleeping and restfulness. So the doctor gave me yet another med to help with this... Haven't been taking it for too long, but so far all it's done is make me less restless physically in my sleep rather then mentally.
Speaking of positivity, I'm working on getting myself a career

Medical transcriptionist. That is if I can get the funding for the education, I'll be trying to start that ASAP and get an at home job for that. I've always been a quick typist and I think that I would do really well at that kind of job. Especially if I don't have to deal with people on a daily basis that I don't like

Hubby has a job interview on Tues. He's still working as a Cook atm, but the job that he's interviewing for pays MUCH more ($20/hr!!!) and altho it's further away and would give us less time together I'm wishing really hard he gets it. The plan is, if he gets that job is we use it to save up hardcore for getting out of debt and saving up for him to go back to college, while I'm training to be an MT. Then once I'm doing well as an MT and we have enough money for him to go to college for computer courses, he'll quit there and concentrate on his chosen path. It'd really increase our quality of life (not to mention our pets as well) and give us a more accomplished feeling. Like we were actually getting somewhere!
Other changes... well bro-in-law may move in with us, dunno when, it all depends on the situation with his dad. The guy is a real douchebag... sorry but he is. There's things he does or doesn't do for his son that make me just want to slap him. And the brother is a real nice guy as far as I've known him so far. I know I haven't wanted to live with anyone again, but we're willing to do that for him. I also think it would give hubby and brother to get to know each other again (long lost kinda situation) and he shares our interests so it won't be hard to hang out and such.
As for comics, I'm still working on those. Still on hiatus kinda, even tho I'm working on stuff, but the work I get done for it is dependent on my mood, so that can swing around wildly

On a bright note for me I got two new pets! Two little ratties!! They're called African Soft-Furred rats, newer to being pets, fairly popular for snake food (awwww poor ratties) They're incredibly soft to the touch, but very jumpy. And because that they're new for being bred as pets, they're still not as tame as typical fancy rats. But I love them, very interesting personalities, and with time I think they can be warmed up. One's named Velvet and her sister is Katame. Unfortunately Katame seems to only have one working eye, and a lot more skittish so I can't pick her up for the time being without her springing away, but she's still very cute. I think the eye thing may be a birth defect, but I'm going to check with the vet some time when I have the money. But that won't be for a long while... I think my new anti-depressant meds are working because as it is, I've been feeling better as a whole. Not as many days have I plummeted into terrifying depths of darkness and hopelessness. I'm not cured, or have everything fully managed, but this is at least a good start and I'm generally sleeping well. Also, although I still have the ingrown toenails, the infection is gone due to my new Dr. being competent enough to help me and I don't have as much pain.

Recently I also got to go to the Vancouver Aquarium, it was an awesome experience, although I was incredibly sore. Seeing all those underwater creatures was amazing and I did enjoy the Amazon section as well with the butterflies and birds, and monkeys. The most amazing sights that I have to say I enjoyed however were the sharks, sea turtle, dolphins, seals, sea otters and of course the Beluga whales. I'm so glad that this time I got to see absolutely everything. It was great! I have tons of pics, and may post some of them up here sometime maybe.

can attest to how much fun we had. Although I would have to recommend, if you're downtown Vancouver, the food at Kimono, a Japanese restaurant wasn't very good compared to most places I've been.

I got my hair cut, getting rid of most of my annoying hair. So now it's JUST long enough to put in a ponytail, and a lot cooler on me. Also dyed part of my hair purple, my hubby thinks it looks good

So that makes me happy.

Now for the bad stuff...

I'm going on sort of a summer hiatus, mainly because of the fact that there's a lot I need to do this summer. Including I have plans of going to the pool as often as possible. This is for my health because I need to lose weight and the exercise should hopefully help with my back problems. I'm hoping anyways that it will...

And the worst thing of all... this has put me off the mood of really doing anything, at least for the moment. One of my babies, the youngest of my 3 cats, Crisco has a fractured tail. We don't know how this happened, but this morning we wake up and he wouldn't hold his tail up like normal and when I pet his tail I felt an odd lump on it. Turns out it's a bend... Now I'm sure his tail wasn't caught in a door or anything so it's a complete mystery. And to top it off we had to pay to get him some pain shots and antibiotics, and we have to try and restrict his activity. Which means he'll prolly have to be kept in his carrier for the entire time. This will be heart breaking. Crisco is oneof the most affectionate and loving cats I have ever known, him having to be kept locked up will make him miserable. Of course I'd rather have him unhappy then the fracture getting worse and his tail having to be amputated... But it's still upsetting... Hopefully he gets better too, I know there's no way I'd be able to afford xrays if the problem persists... or the surgery on his tail... Please everyone keep your fingers crossed, and keep hope that my Crisco will heal up just fine and will be able to keep his tail....

Anyways I'm off for now, tho I'll be checking DA everyday still... I really just can't guarantee any submissions for awhile...

Anywho, sorry if sounding a little bleh XD Onto the good stuff!

So there's been this cute little egg thing going around where an artist will create a number of eggs and allow people to choose which one they want, (the appearance a surprise) and once the eggs hatch the character is then given over to the person who chose the egg to use, etc in whatever way they want (while still sticking to the basic appearance and any other static things of course).
This has inspired me in a way to help promote Destiny's Kiss and give myself a way to relax a little and not stress for awhile.

I'm holding a Fanart contest! I know I haven't gotten in too far yet into the comic, but I'm looking for fanart or even fanwriting if you prefer. Everyone who sends me something will have their stuff posted up on Destiny's Kiss webcomic. However, this is where the egg based idea comes in. For the ones that I like the best in submissions, will win one of these (even though they may not all be eggs lol) And these will be based on the races of Gaeus! So there will be 9 possible positions. Here are the basic guidelines to this contest.

Nothing obscene, I'm not against general nudity much like in the comic already but if you submit anything disgusting by most other's view, it will be disqualified.

It must be based on the world of Gaeus!

You may use your own OC's, however if you're writing something out, please explain how they got to Gaeus if they're not one of the races of Gaeus.

If you would like to use one of the races I have not yet posted pictures and information about, feel free to message me for information about anything of Gaeus you want to know of.

You may submit more then one submission if you like! In fact as many as you want. If I get enough submissions, only one per person will be counted towards the prizes. However if I don't get enough, all submissions will be considered for them.

I think that's everything important that I need to outline, however this is subject to change, even without notice if necessary. And I sincerely hope that I don't need to add anything due to immaturity.

Soonish I'll prolly submit a pic of the 'egg' versions of the winner's prizes. And no, I won't be telling you which one is what race. XD The person who gets 1st will get first choice, then 2nd, 3rd etc. If there are any left afterwards (hoping I get enough submissions that won't be the case XD) the remainder will be free to anyone.

Then yesterday on Saturday I was out at a friend's because we were having a Bridal Shower for another friend which was a lot of fun!

Anyways, my point is, been busy lately and away from the computer a lot, and for a little bit I'm prolly going to be a bit tired and not wanting to do much.

Then there's also the fact with May coming up I'm going to be quite busy! My husband's birthday is on the 2nd, his brother's is on the 4th, and my own birthday is on May 6th. We're having a combined party with my best friend on the 9th because her birthday is on the 13th. And I think it's the 11th I have an important appointment that I was waiting for, for several months.

So as everyone can see May is going to be a slow month for me, because of those dates and also in between those days I'll be having to go out to go birthday gift shopping XD Sometimes I hate May just a little... lol

However, don't worry I'll still be working on things, even if most of it's behind the scenes for the moment.

Now I thought this was the end of it all... what bird would come back to the scene of capture a second time? Well this little guy did... within two hours he was back and driving my cats nuts again. Luckily this time it took less to catch him and we tried to go tell our landlords about this to hopefully speed up the repairs.... well they were gone. So now... I have a wild Starling sitting in a cat carrier decorating it with crap x.x and throwing a temper tantrum. Not that I don't understand or feel bad... but I'd rather he be pissed off at being confined temporarily rather then trying to come back and getting killed by one of my cats.

Not that their vicious or anything O.o But they ARE cats... and well small moving animals just register as toys to them. Even though they don't hunt for food they'd certainly want to '

lay' with the poor thing.

Anywho, that's my adventure for the morning XD

People may notice I'm happier lately^^ Well I am... not much, but one of the unseen burdens that I didn't notice it for what it was is gone. Some may have known of the recent conflict, and while avoiding sinking down to the same level as the person I have to say I am glad for it! Of course being happy that it's over, once I cleansed her from my life I felt this weight being lifted off my chest. And hopefully you guys will be seeing more pictures from me. Because I realized part of the reason I had problems drawing and such was due to a dark cloud that loomed over me. This person has always been highly critical and did things to make myself and others feel like, just because our work was done in a different style, we were not good enough. But that's gone! That person's opinion no longer matters to me in any way or form, and since I realized this... I just feel more free!

Anyways, I think that's it for now, as I'm off to go see if I still have some of my old stuff for my rats to make the Starlings stay a little more comfortable until we can release him without fear of a return performance XD

Anywho, onto the reason I'm writing this, although this post may be like.... short. I'm really tired at the moment and am going to bed as soon as I'm done. And yes, it's 9am here... Gawd I'm getting bad about staying up this late. I just keep staying up until I'm about to pass out for the last while. Bad habit, and as much as I want to, having a hard time kicking it. What am I doing you may ask? Random stuff XD No really, it can differ from night to night. The most common one is Sims 2... I seem to have refound my passion for the game. Although it's not nearly as bad as my old obsession, but still just finding it so occupying. Either then Sims 2 I've been playing S4, an online shooter game. Besides those two, there's other things as well, just not as massively time consuming.

I find that I'm playing Sims 2 more so during times that I'm feeling anti-social. Normally I wouldn't have fallen into such an anti-social phase, but I think that due to everything that's been happening I'm just not dealing with all the emotional crap so well anymore. Hit the roof/limit/etc.

As for S4 I've made some pretty nice friends on there, and have enjoyed the mindless shooting of the game plus the strategy portions. It's a shooter game I'm adequate at XD Mainly I'll play this when I'm feeling more social or when I'm in such a mood that I want to shoot people in the face. Although... last few days I've lost some of the enthusiasm for it due to a lot of... well let's just say they're people that make me disgusted with people in general.

And last but not least, my other smaller time occupations. Still rping, but my adopted sister's been out of commission lately so barely been doing that. A little here now and then. Also been planning out some drawings... like who I want to draw, what poses, what style, etc. What sucks is my lack of focus for this when I WANT to do it. I've also wanted to work on my novels, but that's been a bust... and the webcomic, well that's not been going so well. Yeah, still on my mind every now and then, but focus? Nil, nada, zilch... Ugh.

As for my considered project of working on posting my RP characters profiles and drawing the picture to go along with it... if that's going to happen that's like a long way off. There's enough other things that inspire me more that I'm going to actually do first. Going to keep the idea on like a shelf of stuff I can do when done others first.

As for the contest idea to help with choosing the name to the webcomic, so far I don't think many people have shown interest in it. So ya... go ahead and suggest if you guys want, but putting effort into organizing anything is obviously not worth it.

Anywho, during the time I wasn't updating, I was still thinking on the comic. (still have no name for it yet, that still escapes me) However, a lot of the smaller details I've been thinking on, and as such, should be posting information on the world soon, characters, races, etc. Also another side project that I've been considering doing, although haven't fully decided that I have the attention for will be posting my RP char profiles and a drawing done by myself on them. We'll see how everything else goes before that's a certainty.

I'm thinking of doing a contest on suggestions to help with the title of the comic. What do people think? Would you all be willing to participate in something like that? Of course, since I'm still poor, prizes would consist of requests, trades, or something like that.

Anyways, the contest is over due to a lack of interest. Those that applied/gave ideas will still be included, but it's pretty obvious no one else is going to give anything so I don't see much point in continuing this. Anyways, I'm still plugging away at my comic idea, slowly refining it and developing the world. This isn't going to be some half-baked idea, with no real stuff to go on... for once

This is going to have a lot of effort put into it. So far, the only person who's given me a character to put in is

so the range of characters is still a bit limited. Waiting on at least one person who said they would, not that it's any huge rush either. I've got a few race ideas that'll be incorporated, and even a few side stories with some characters. Big part that I'm having a bit of a problem with is deciding on the world's pantheon. I'm sure I'll figure something out eventually tho.

Have a lot of appointments right now, and even have yet to still squeeze in time to be able to go to the hospital and get xrays done on my ankle. For those I haven't told about it yet, the ankle just decided about 2-3 weeks ago now that it wanted to hurt like a little mofo. No reason, just walking down the street, fine, no twisting, no tripping, etc and BAM, pain shooting through it. Weird, but I'm used to it. For the moment tho I'm on these anti-inflammatories, that may possibly be what's causing other problems... however I'm not sure. The same day I started the meds, it snowed... and I don't mean a little that melted, but a nice few cm's of gross, cold, wet, evil snow. So maybe it's the cold. All in all... I have no idea once again.

Can't say I'm in a terrible mood tho. I'm in a pissy, irritable mood due to the relentless throbbing pain that makes just living hurt. But somehow I'm in a VERY rare optimistic mood. Maybe it's cuz things are finally being done... Things are happening! Sure it's put most of my drawing on hold, but that's alright cuz when I get into it again, I have a feeling there will have been some improvement. I took a lot of books out today, drawing, crocheting, yoga, etc. And so I'm working on improving myself. At least I want to look at it that way, and for now it seems to be actually happening. Cross your fingers for me that it all stays cool!

What I'm looking for is a concept for a storyline, not an actual full out storyline because I don't want to be accused of stealing someone's idea down the line, but a concept. One that I feel I can work with.

At this time I'm not limiting the possible concept ideas. So suggest away! The kinds of things that I'm partial to is fantasy themes, etc.

So, how I plan on this working is, that everyone who wants to participate should leave a comment on this saying that they want to, and when you're ready to propose your storyline concept send it in a message/note to me. Along with sending the concept to me, send me information on an Original Character that you would like to be included in the webcomic.

There is no current time limit to this contest, although one may be put on it later on, so you'll want to keep checking back now and then.

With this contest it's also possible that there may end up being more then one person deemed as the 'winner'. For example if there is more then one concept that I like and can combine that inspire me, they will be given credit for that equally.

I guess that brings me back to the '

rize' description. As mentioned above, with every concept sent to me, information regarding an Original Character should be sent as well (although I'll let people send the concept and OC info seperately). Whom ever's concept(s) that I use, I will be using the Original Character in the webcomic, as a main character. And of course, they will be credited to assisting in the concept and the designer of the OC.

Now the info can range from very basic (name, appearance, etc)to very detailed (bio, attitude, etc), but that does mean that you wouldn't get anymore say then that. I'm trying to think of a good comic idea... I know I started Atrio Unknown already but I dunno if I have the gumption to continue with it. I'm searching for something that can inspire me for more then a few comics in. An idea I was considering is combining webcomic with writing. Such as drawing one scene, maybe two and that sums up the story that would beneath it. Does anyone else think this is a good idea? Or have any suggestions, regarding this?

Those are the worst that I've mentioned there and interfere the most.

Looking up some more information I've begun to suspect I actually might have misdiagnosed Fibromyalgia and plan to talk to my doctor soon... If I can see him... and he'll actually listen. It's disappointing on how often doctors just don't listen...

They said no. That's right. Our GOV'T said no to someone who needs disability. They said that I didn't ELABORATE enough... but the stupid form didn't say: Put everything down in MINUTE DETAIL!

I HATE THEM.

Make me wait a month AND a half JUST TO SAY NO! Now... I AM appealing it. But this leads to yet another bout of the WAITING GAME. That's right... I have to WAIT 48 hourse to get notified I can get a reconsideration form. Prolly have to WAIT to talk to a worker to fill out part of the form. Possibly have to WAIT to talk to my doctor to fill out stuff again. Then I have to WAIT a minimum of 10 days to hear from them... NOT including weekends and the mail systems delays.

Don't get me to go into what I have to do if they then reject the reconsideration...

But seriously, how could I elaborate... CANNOT lift stuff, CANNOT walk more then four blocks, CANNOT climb more then 5 stairs without help... Is that 5 stairwells? Or five steps in a stairwell? I could understand if that's 5 stairwells, not 5 STEPS.

How does the fact that I need medication to operate as a normal person NOT compute to them?!?!

Anyways, enough ranting from me. Sorry to subject you all to that. I am just so angry and upset right now, I want to go hurt someone and curl up in a dark corner at the same time. Maybe I should go beat up a dark corner?

Anyways, just haven't been much in the mood to draw, or do much of any artwork. Been SERIOUSLY depressed lately. I won't go into details so no one gets freaked out or think I'm a mental case as to the extent of how depressed.

I'm still waiting to see if the government will grant me disability so my husband and I can actually live month to month beyond eating instant noodles (which I can't eat over half the time because it makes me phyically ill). SUPPOSEDLY the waiting period was over Saturday, Oct. 25, but they didn't send out the letter until the following Wednesday. And it's not like I'm sitting around either... I went to their office Thursday to find that out, and they said I should have been getting it that day or Friday... so far nothing. I only hope it comes early this week. I'm so tired of waiting for the government to get it's act in gear and disappointed with how stupid things can be.

And what sucks is part of the reason I'm depressed is my depressional disorder... and I can't get any anti-depressants until I have medical, which my husband's work doesn't provide...

Another depressing problem, truly. But anyways, I'm still trying to think about what scene to do with the Inuyasha theme... not much success so far, but hopefully by the time I figure out how I want to do it, I'll be feeling up to drawing again.

Anyways, the first one that I'll do is an Inuyasha themed one... then after that no idea on the order. Although been considering drawing all in one!! Dunno quite sure yet x.x

Anyhow, I have some schoolwork to concentrate on now, so the picture itself will be started once I'm done that^^ And in the mood to do it of course.

So this means that it won't be too long before I hit 1000. Even more Yay!

However, I have noticed that I've only recieved 3 votes. That's right, only 3. And those 3 votes are for 3 different things, so it's all in a tie. What I need everyone else to do is start voting on which one for me to do (the option to suggest something is still open, but not for much longer.) And the longer it takes for me to reach a decision about which one to do, the longer it'll take for me to post it. Right? Right.

As I had promised in a previous journal I'll be doing a picture for every 100 pageviews, and of course the next 100 after 900 is 1000. To me that seems like a pretty big deal^^

So, I want to do something a little more focused to show how grateful that I am to everyone's support. To anyone who views this, I am offering a choice of what my 1000 pageview picture will be.

Some suggestions as to what I can do:

-My own original characters, including my rp characters, my webcomic characters, or characters from my novels.

-Fan art, pretty much any anime character(s)as long as it's possible for me to find reference pictures.

Poses, scenes, etc may be asked for although I can't guarantee that I'll be able to do them, however I will try^^

The above is not a limit to what I'll accept in the way of a request, just a couple ideas. There's not much limits that I have, nothing overly gory, disgusting, etc. I will do hentai as long as it's once again not overly gory, disgusting, etc.

Once again, sorry for the delay in getting this up, but definitely hope that it was worth the wait. I like how the picture turned out with the Harvest Goddess in it.

I am most definitely flattered.

As for the promised 900 pageview pic, I am already working on it (only got ahead of myself at 898 so don't worry, not getting egotistical!). However I'm going to have to sadly say it may be a day or two late being posted. It will be a comibination of not so much time and just not feeling overly well. But as soon as I can I will have it done, working on it little by little when feeling well enough.

On that note, haven't been feeling well lately. I'm suspecting that this is due to low iron in my blood (yay for anemia

) or something of the like. Also I'm trying to work on school work (why do people always take so long to reply when your dependent on them?) which is another big thing. But as soon as that starts happening you may be seeing more anyways because of the fact that part of my Digital Media course will be including my artwork and comic.

Anywho, off to make dinner for the hungry hungry hubby before he chews off my hands... Later everyone!

The offer still stands of course, that for every 100 pageviews I will be drawing a thank you picture. My ultimate hope is to get to 1000 pageviews at the very least.

Also, be keeping your eyes open for more that will be submitted, as I am planning on working on a webcomic. At the worst if the idea falls through I'll have more pictures put up... lol^^

I haven't done this before for the simple reason that I admire everything each of them does, but it occured to me that perhaps it would be better to pick a favorite, for whatever reason to help promote them in some manner? That way, if anyone looks at my profile, they'll see those pieces favorited and can take a look on their own. At least I hope my flawed mannerism of thought is correct in believing it can be beneficial.

Because of this, reading and looking at everyones' work today, got me to thinking. No... more to feeling... useless. I'm jealous of so much that they do, I know some excellent artists. Even those that are artists with their words... My heart, ever since I can remember, all the way back to elementary school has belonged to art.

What did I want to be when I grew up? An artist... I have to look back on those memories with a sardonic smile. Such naivete, to think that I could ever even be considered equal to the great masters. I know I won't in my lifetime. The reason I know this is because I can't even equal those that I know...

So many pieces of work that are moving, that are wonderful to behold. A lot of them bring smiles to my face to see the quality that my friends can do, to see the emotions in it. And those who write so well... their writings are moving as well. I pride myself on excellent grammar and spelling, also on the extensive vocabulary I've been praised with... but even with all of that, I cannot move others such as they move me.

I itch, crave, desire to bring to life images and emotions that are within me, but... my hands cannot create them as I imagine them. It drives me insane with frustration to see these beautiful ideas in my head, and the want to express them, but to fail each and every time I attempt it.

I do not even feel worthy to attempt it anymore. My tries to create beauty only result in twisted mockery, for which I expect any day now to be berated for such. 'How dare you try to do it, to twist such beauty?' But I must keep on trying. It's what I live for. I know that I won't ever succeed, that my dreams will only stay as unattainable ghosts, but a part of me won't allow me to give up. I'll continue to try getting better, I'll try to reach that goal, because it is all that I can do.

And the only time that I will know that I have reached that peak, if a miracle occurs, is when I have moved someone. For, that is what art means to me. Something, so beautiful that it can move someone deeply within their heart whether it be with sorrow, happiness, or any other emotion.

My dream... Shall it ever become a reality?

Things are sort of on the fence right now, submitted my disability application and now I'm just waiting to hear back from the gov't about their verdict. I'll be furious if they turn it down, I mean what the heck could I ever do job wise without extensive education? Really, not much.

As for my video game that I was so excited about... well it got pushed back for like half a month. So now it comes out on the 16th... if they don't push it back again.

I'm also currently waiting to hear from my teachers for two online courses I'll be taking, because I do definitely want to finish my schooling so I can do better things. I just hope I wasn't forgotten about or there was no bs that happened and I haven't been informed about.

Well, anyways, I might be in the mood to start posting more stuff as long as the FPS online game, S4 (Look up S4 League if your curious) doesn't suck me back in. Normally I hate FPS games, but this one I've been having a lot of fun with surprisingly. So, we shall see^^

I have been waiting, and waiting, and waiting on my medical files to be transferred to my new doctor. And harassing the poor receptionists like every two days... cuz I thought, 'Hey, I was told they were sent in June, so they should be here by now.'
That's right, I was told they were sent in JUNE, not July, not August, but JUNE... Turns out that was a big fat lie. They actually didn't send my files from my old doctor until August 13th... Ya... almost 2 full months, go going morons... Anywho, they arrived TODAY. So finally I can get on with my application for disability. So please everyone cross your fingers for me that it will work, the doctor isn't a total moron, or some other related crap to rain from the heavens on my unsuspecting life...

Second piece of good news, I got a response back today from like the principal of an education program or whatever that I had emailed over a week ago! Yaaay... and anyways, he's being like super helpful so far. I know sweet shit all about my school records, student ID, etc and everything was like 4 years ago, but he just asked for like my name, where I went to school and all that and he said he'd look it all up for me. AND he'd try and get me like a chance to talk to the people I need to this upcoming week. I mean... wow! Someone COMPETENT? I'm just stunned! He also told me that I only need to meet the requirements for back when I was attending an academic program, although I still plan on looking into college stuff so I can milk this for a all I can, AND also told me that any jobs or whatever I've done out of school could possibly count toward things.

Real life working for me... at least a bit... wow. I am so grateful for it and hope that nothing totally negates it.

Anywho, onto art related stuff. I've been in a drawing mood lately and if anyone wants to see any of my wonder-crap pictures I'm open to suggestions, and maybe requests. Hopefully the way that my latest project turned out will not be the last of that calibre.

What am I referring to?

Why the two cockatiel pictures that I just posted. Some of you may be thinking to yourselves 'They're not that great, sure not the worst, but nothing I'd say GREAT about...' or something along those lines. Well to those I want to explain that the feeling of doing something GREAT wasn't about doing something that is so skillfully done it leaves others speechless (As much as I would love that), but it was more about doing something that left me with satisfaction. Something that made me feel like I did something worthwhile and meaningful.

Although I believe I did a very good job on these drawings, there is more to them then just how I did. It's more like why I did.

I had gone into the program to just draw SOMETHING, when I just felt like flowing lines would be great. And what has flowing types of lines? Birds. At first I was thinking of doing a phoenix (still might when not so tired...) but as the drawing took shape with the strokes of the pen I realized it was a cockatiel I was drawing.

I had no choice in this decision, it just happened and that is what developed. Now for the story that explains more as to why they feel meaningful...

When I was younger and still living with my mother, when I would've been in about Gr. 7 or 8, my mother's boyfriend bought her a present. My mother was always crazy about cockatiels, and because she'd recently lost one she had raised from a baby, he bought her a brand new one. A fancy cockatiel that got named Donavon. (Fancy cockatiels are the yellow/white ones btw) Although this bird was meant as a gift to my mother, it for some reason bonded with me. When he wouldn't allow any other to touch him and pet him, he would let me. If he bit at me it was only nips. If ever I was sad and crying he would fly all the way from the living room where his cage was to my bedroom on the other side of the apartment, sit atop the bunkbeds and chirp at me until I was feeling better. If the door happened to be closed he would keep on trying until it was opened for him.

Needless to say that bird and I had a special bond. However, things would take a bad turn when my insane mother brought home an abused parrot. That's right... she bought a parrot that had been abused, and was violent and brought it into a home with two children and another, smaller bird. I guess one day Donovan decided to tease the larger bird when he was in his cage, and things turned bad... The parrot put a hole through his wing, and bit one of his toes off. The vet said Donovan was lucky to be alive and would never fly again.

Donovan would prove them wrong though... he eventually was able to fly once again. But things were always tense with the fact that of course Donovan hated that parrot and vice versa. So... my mother decided that one of them had to go.

Now I ask you... if you had to decide between getting rid of a small bird that was decently friendly towards most, and was bonded to one of your kids, and a large, violent, parrot that tried to kill your other bird, what would you pick? My mother chose to keep the parrot. That's right, even after my many tears and begging her not to, she gave away Donovan...

Unfortunately I never knew what happened to him after that, but without a doubt I still think about that bird now and then and how much he meant to me.

Some people may find the attachment I had to that bird as silly, or the fact that I still get teary eyed over it to this day as stupid... but I don't care. That bird was my best friend... and I just hope that where ever he is, he is healthy and happy...

I'm sure everyone has lost a best friend over the years that they won't ever be able to forget...

Anyways... as I said on one of the pics of the cockatiels that I did I said I would put information about the birds here for anyone curious.

Cockatiels originated in Australia and are related to the Cockatoo (also from Australia)

The yellow/white cockatiels are called Fancy, while the rest are usually a mix of grey, white and sometimes yellow. Those types are just more common then the Fancys.

The feathered crest on their head is a good way to tell their mood, when it's up normally they're usually in a good mood. If they lift it up and puff it out... means they're pissed off. Down I believe means they're sad (forgive me if accuracy is a little off, has been years since I owned one.)

Their red 'cheeks' are not actually cheeks but a feather coloration.

And well... there's much more one could know about them, but I have always found them to be great birds. Maybe I'll try experimenting with some drawing programs... maybe something good will happen... maybe not.
