Anyways.. I have my layout sheets almost done for DoA (Dragons of Asthenos) and I've hit a huge break through on my writer's block. I think my readers will highly enoy what I have come up with. The book is about to get a little... dark. Well, time to go find Steve. I'll write more soon!

Also, I've gotten the third installment fully done and it will be posted today. Best news of all, my room is actually CLEAN! I swear I thought I was going to give my mom another heart attack.. Eep! Now all I have to do is tackle the basement. Oh and guess what? I'm gardening. I have a bunch of flowers growing in the front. I got grass growing in the back. I'm also growing tomatoes and doing good at it. Best of all, I'm growing pumpkins and the plants are getting HUGE!

It's the roly-poly! Also known as the pill bug or wood lice. Did you know they are actually crustaceans? They are related to lobsters and crayfish, being arthropods.

Why am I telling you this?

Simple. I have toads. Many toads. I started with one toad. But now there are many toads. Feeding said toads is not always easy. So now I am trying to breed food. Crickets didn't work. Mealworms take too long. Moth larvae are too small for fist-sized toads but good for toadlets (baby toads) and medium toads. I am going to breed pill bugs. or rather, try to. Also I am so fascinated by these creatures I shall be drawing pictures of them and making creatures based upon them. They're neat!

Wide awake still. I'm working on the ending of the third installment of Scrolls of Asthenos. Also, trying to map out a character design sheet now that Coal is officially colored and done.

Still awake. I'm also a bit upset that my gift for my boyfriend isn't back yet. I have a custom framing job in the works and it has yet to be done. It's been a few weeks! It wasn't done for his birthday so I feel bad.

I'm also very hot. And not in the good looking way. In the sticky sweaty icky kind of way. But still in the good way too.

I had to take it in for service. They said it was a battery error, that more than likely the sold it to me with a dead battery. Well a few days later they called saying it was a battery error and I could come pick it up. I got there and they wanted to exchange it for another. I was told a different story and couldn't pick up my laptop. It was unable to be repaired. So we tried talking about exchanges. The ones they showed us that was my model were TERRIBLE! They said they had three in stock. They showed us two, one with a warped keyboard and the other with a lopsided dented case and a broken cursor pad. So they couldn't find the third and we went to the laptop area to ask about others in our price range. First they were lying about the make of year on mine. They they were only showing us models that were $1000 + which sucked. They didn't show us other refurbished ones. My mom and I were so mad we had to walk out. A day later we went back to talk with the manager.

He at first didn't seem to believe us about the condition of the laptops we were shown, until he was trying to show us one and when it didn't work, he saw the power cord was all ripped and exposed. So we switched cords since mine worked. I was allowed to look it over and all that, even set it up. The manager made the exchange, extended my warranty, knocked the price down, and switched hard drives so I didn't have to reinstall anything.

Things worked out. Now I have a laptop that holds a charge and it was cheaper and set up my way and with less work. Now I am happy.

Oh! And today I posted my first installment of Scrolls of Asthenos. So read! Help me pick a title too. Scrolls of Asthenos or Dragon Diaries?

Aaaand things are going GREAT otherwise in my life. Nick and I are doing wonderful and planning to spend more quality time together. I plan to try to drag him to the Detroit Zoo to see the warthogs too.

I'm still getting my art studio up and going and soon shall be working on making some maquettes. That will be fun. I plan to make a gryphon or griffin for my first one. Then Kooky. Then Levi. Then a random dragon. Or a character dragon.

I'm also spoiling my bunny Cassy big time. But she loves me so it's kewl. My room needs work, but who's doesn't? My brutha fruma nutha mutha Jakey is not doing so well health wise. Has me worried. But I'm hoping for the best as usual. I'm also keeping in touch with my favorite Literary teacher ever, Dorene. She's got a book selling event happening June 5th I hope to go to.

Sooooo... That's what's going on in my life. Woohoo!

I have a project I'm working on. Besides fixing up my art studio, I'm writing another story chapter. "Torrent's Echo" and it was inspired by a song sent to me by my bro Jake, Document by Assemblage23. I'm also going to be drawing a picture on it and I plan to do character designs for those in my story.

I plan to get it published and write this book over the summer. Wish me luck!

As for life.. Things are decent. My dad has calmed. My mom is sick but getting better. I avoid my dad, needless to say... I'm taking care of my mom. School is bogging me down because I have to play catchup due to only getting registered on the deadline day! Oh that's a whole other story to tell.. But, things are good. Life is hectic. My multiple toads are mating. I'm worried about my relationship. Well.. Such is life. But I'm happy anyways! So, I'll be sure to be putting stuff up here. I have a file FULL of scans.

My Experimental Animation project is due next week. I'll be posting tons of my work up here soon now that I have a working network and scanner. Home life sucks. I'm talking about moving out now. And my temperamental drunkard of a father is once more hurting my mom and thus far divorce after all these years is officially on the table from what I understand. For now with it there, I think my parents are going to separate for a while. I'd like to see how far my dad gets with that one. My mom will be fine. She's a real trooper. Don't get me wrong, I love my father, but lately I don't -like- him. He's become cruel and apparently jealous of -me- my mom says. So now I am venting and hoping for the best. Karma, my dog, is out of surgery now. She's recovering and it wasn't cancer, but instead a cyst. That's a good thing! Right now I plan to clean up my studio and my room, then on to buying more paper and finishing the background for my animation piece. I came up with a title for it! Peek-a-Boo Moon! Yes I know there are books out there with that title, but none have anything to really do with playing peek-a-boo with the moon and I -am- allowed to sue the title without legal issues. Will write more soon when I can get to another computer.

Now for today... WONDERFUL! I went into class today and the students that were present at the time had GREAT feedback on my story! They loved Navigator! Right away I was even asked if I would be writing more. They wanted so bad to get the next installments. The descriptions were loved. The characters were great. The dialogue (which I thought I would fail miserably at!) turned out to be one of the best parts about it. One of my friends commented on how he just saw my face light up as everyone was discussing my story. I got some suggestions, but not many because apparently it was just THAT good. I may even post it up on here... So I'll be submitting the next installment for class in a while. First, I plan to rewrite "A Splice Named Leviathan" according to some of the suggestions. I was so glad... To make things even better, another student approached me and asked if they could illustrate my characters. They wanted permission to draw my characters! I felt so flattered and respected. Of course I let him, under the condition I get signed copies! People were laughing because it was like "O.M.G, I've got fans!" So I'm psyched on this and very hyped. I guess those past times of old text role-playing paid off! I passed the torch to my bro, but I may just start up again... Yay me!

I plan to just be a better big sister and have more time for him. Poor little guy.. He's not so little anymore either. 14! And Jeffy my cousin is going to be 13 on Friday! They grow up so fast. I recently received a letter from the people who were originally going to inherit my uncle Kelly's dog. They're checking up on her and I have pictures to send them and lots to tell them. Currently I'm working on my new business cards. So far so good. I don't plan to sleep tonight. I'm just working and at the same time talking on the phone with my lil bro. I worry for him so much.. So please keep him in your thoughts as I do mine.
