I will be one of a few different artists participating in the very first showing at a cool new gallery down in Hollywood. The Gallery is called Moral Punch and it will be showcasing the talents of animation artists and filmmakers. Many of my pieces will be offered for sale and are now up on the website as part of the presale. So if you can't make it out to Hollywood you can purchase some works online and have them shipped. I'll make an update with dates and times of the reception as I get them.

He gave a great talk that was very inspiring. The man is a living testemant to the power of positive thinking. Everything that he has wanted to do in his life he has had the chance to. From working in movies and theatre to designing $50 million buildings for the World's Fair and Epcot Center.

After the talk we all got a chance to meet the man and have him sign some books. I was thrilled to finally get my first edition copy of 'The Halloween Tree' signed. That has been one of my lifes goals for the past few years. When I got my chance to talk to him I was actually shaking. The man has been such a huge inspiration to me. How can you possibly begin thank someone who has given you so much to aspire to? So, my lovely girlfriend Marie and I got our books signed and got to take our pictures with Mr. Bradbury. It was a really amazing evening.

I like to look at my films as an extension of the rest of my body of work. I fully believe that everything that we do as artists should be related in some form. My hope is that that comes across in this film as well in more than just the obvious ways.

So, when I do finally get the whole film finished and a musician to write some permanent music for this puppy I will repost it. But that probably won't be for a couple more months. But in the meantime please check it out and let me know what you think.

Creator, writer and artist of the Hellboy comic series, Mike Mignola came to CalArts to give a talk (1/20). It was a somewhat small group of 100 people or so in the room. He brought in his sketchbook and some thumbnails and descriptions of the next Hellboy book, "Darkness Calls". The talk was great and his sketch work was really inspirational. Everybody should check out the book of art from the movie to see his sketches as well as all of the Hellboy books. He's an incredible artist and storyteller. If you've never seen his work, it's definitely something to check out. He even signed my sketchbook after the talk and drew a sketch of Hellboy for me.
