It is, largely, people through his eyes though it's so much more encompassing of a person's personal scope, how they see people and how they see concepts and imagery.

In short, it's the perfect coffee table book for visitors (and yourself) to browse through for some relaxing photography.

My favorite parts about it are the deep contrasts in tone, Nikos' ability to bring out eyes, hair, and skin in such a vivid portrayal whilst staying within a realm of reality. The element of class combined with modern sexuality explore an intoxicating realm of culture. Yet, don't expect the photos to hold back, they assault the senses in their striking portrayal of the human body and human society. Materialism and absence surround the majority of these photos and yet Nikos occasionally breaks consistency by presenting harmonious photos of peace and nature.

My only quip about B33k is that there are no options in the size it is presented, B33k is smaller (a little less than 8.5in x 11in) and I believe that photography highly benefits from larger size presentations.

Still, the resolution of the photos are crisp and clear and Nikos presents his views in a splash of varied saturation. B33k is available in softcover and hardcover, though I recommend the hardcover in this instance for overall presentation to all who value the portrayal of people, concept, beauty, and sexual culture.

I've just been reading a lot of Ultimate Spider-Man lately and I love talking about artistic direction; seeing as I don't have studio set up in my new place to work on art, let's talk Spidey 4.

A lot of people I know weren't overly impressed with Spider-Man 3, but it felt like a comic book progressing the story with interesting turns and was overall really fun!

Now I see Sam Raimi, Stan Lee, etc. talking about Spider-Man 4, and I want to join in!

I think the logical move is to open up the story and the world. The majority of people want to see the Lizard next, which 'could' be awesome. I really don't want to see Carnage yet though Black Cat would be pretty sexy. I guess the biggest question is, what do you do as Spider-Man your whole life and how can we present a compelling story that has super-human elements? I just hope the film isn't formulaic, I'm really looking for something that breaks barriers for superhero territory much like The Dark Knight, Iron Man, and Watchmen have done. I think they are pretty good with their handle on effects (I did think Venom's CG was extremely weak next to the Sandman). What to do, what to do... well rather than listen to me, give me some thoughts!

Death Note
Warner Bros. has picked up the rights to do a live-action Death Note film, and I trust them more than Fox right now. I hope to do more in-depth movie analysis of good martial arts films and hopefully you can send me some recommendations of great martial arts or anime films. I hope Warner Bros. does a decent job with Death Note, the Japanese live-action wasn't too bad, just a little unpolished.

Also, DragonBall Evolution recently was released in theatres last Friday, I'd like to know your opinion on that. If you didn't like it, I'd love to recommend some other martial arts films you might prefer: Legend of the Drunken Master (1994, Jackie Chan), Ong Bak (2003, Tony Jaa), Iron Monkey.

I just read the Street Fighter comics developed by the UDON team, they're very well colored, drawn, and are full of heart, not ego; I recommend them to any street fighter fans.

I've recently redesigned my main DeviantArt page to reflect all of my art not just DragonBall; also, DragonBall RN probably won't ever see completion, or at least any more participation from me, I just couldn't dedicate the time to it anymore and am planning to move on to more original projects.

Other than that, let's see... moving to a new place at the end of the month is about the biggest news I have. Have a good one, leave your thoughts.
