While not having money for expensive food we might be able to slim down, everybody likes to be fit, riiight? Also you might manage to learn to cook, and no I'm not talking about microwave pizza.

People will start to stay in with their family, getting closer than before. Yay for family.

While clothes are getting more expensive we can learn to sew our on clothes, make some new clothes out of old. Even start a fashion trend

Since we're not able to go abroad for vacation we might as well travel inside our own country, after all Icelandic nature is beautiful. (Since the Gas cost about a million-gasillion krónur per liter we might have to travel quite many together)

There were a bunch of new student I knew about 11 people who had gotten in and saw a few more faces that i recognized.
It's been fun so far, we've mostly introduce our selves and made a space for everybody to work in.
Every day we get one word which we should interpret in some way. I will be submitting those pictures in here So far we've had the word: fallegur (beautiful), Ægifegurð (sublime), ógeðslegt(grotesque) and ljótt (ugly). I'm not at school today because I'm sick so I haven't made anything "ugly" yet.

I thought I could totally do this sickness thing, might sleep for a while, then work a bit in my cartoon and other artworks but after two new pieces in my gallery I didn't really feel that inspired anymore... too bad. So the last 4 days have been spent in front of the TV watching His and Her Circumstances (which is oh so good ) and Buffy the Vampire Slayer (don't judge me! *puppyeyes*). Besides my boyfriend has all the series so why not watch it

School started again the 3rd and everybody's been really busy. I've already got some ideas for my application for the art academy so now I just have to start working on my portfolio (fun times ahead).
Also I'm going to take some animation classes this semester, which will be fun but also really hectic. I guess I'll be putting some of that stuff in here later, my characters are already here (that is in my gallery ) and I'm going to write the story for the animation next weekend

tomorrow I'm going to pack my stuff, gonna make all the arrangements before I move to Hafnafjörður to my sister.
Guess I'm not a kid anymore - might actually have to start to think before I act No really I feel like now I have to let loose so many things that maybe I'm not really ready to let loose. For example my cat, I'm going to miss not having her messing around in my drawings and on my computer like usually. Also I haven't really been away from home ever, not for longer than 2 weeks at a time, which is without a doubt strange.
The day after tomorrow I move to my sisters place and leave behind a lot of stuff but that doesn't really matter because I should look into the future rather than the past, 'aight?
I know a lot of people didn't find it hard at all to move away from home, and they were even younger that I am and they even looked forward to go - well I don't. I happen to like the way things are right now - of course I really want to move and I know I'm going to have to some day - in this case that "some day" is the day after tomorrow.

6 weird thing about me you say - that'll be easy :silly:

- From time to time I think in English and say it out loud in Icelandic or think in Icelandic and say it in English, the only problem is when the words come out they got they might be in English but they got Icelandic grammar so I might sound a bit weird

- I often talk in circles when I get nervous

- I often get nervous

- I often sing inside my head (I'm not crazy ) and then all of a sudden I might start singing out loud in the middle of the song, quite funny actually if I'm with people who don't know that well XP

- If somebody tells me I MUST clean my bedroom I won't do it. There for I haven't seen my bedroom floor for quite some time now . If nobody nags about my bedroom I might keep it clean for weeks

- I tend to think about a joke in my head or a funny moment when I'm bored (at work or school) and the of course break out and laugh

And no I'm not crazy I just think a bit to much

Last week-end was fabulous! On Friday I went to a concert in Reykjavík where one of my oldest friend was playing his band name is NïnjaFish. They were the first one to play but they were great... or at least I thought so Afterwards we went to pick up his girlfriend and some stuff and then we were off to a bungalow in the country, close to my home town. There were a lot of others waiting for us there and it was really nice. When nobody was playing guitar hero we watched Futurama and Black Book (great stuff) and some headed for the hot tub. On Sunday four of us went out side for a walk. We climbed a small volcano (really really really old volcano). The view was awesome
Anyway some new stuff might be coming up, after all I shot a lot of photos in the trip, but we'll see

What's happenin'

Courage the couwardly dog is what's happenin at the TV. Homework in the PC and in between some DA reports about my awesome life (mwahaha). No school today since it's friday, and no not for everybody.. just for me Have to go to Reykjavík for a doctors appointment and then to work, which btw is way better than I remembered! Went to work yesterday for the first time in a loooong time and it was way better than I remembered it. Then on sunday I'm going horseback-riding with my school, it's been a while since I've even seen a horse up-close, but I'm sure it will be a blast

What's about to happen

Easter vacation is coming up, and hopefully I've finished my dress then (which I've been sewing fun,fun,fun ) then after the easters I think I'm gonna go to a bungalow (funny word) with my friends, then it's my mums birthday and a week after that on the 23rd it's MY birthday *wohoo*

bad news first? Ok I got no time to draw :S It's a bit frusterating. Good news! We (me and Angel-Alaria) won the logo competition happy!! I do believe I spotted a new me also because all of a sudden I've noticed I really love to sew! Jup, I made myself some pyjama pants and a cape (which looks pritty cool) and aladdin-pants and now I'm sewing a red mini-dress. It's ssssoooo much fun, maybe I should just skip art-school and become a fashion designer ... naah don't think so.
I'm telling you now there's only like two months till I'll graduate and I'm so excited! This is such a big step! Although there's one thing that I'll miss, well maybe few things :S I wount meet my friends everyday at school and I woun't live at home with my family and my cat because I want to go to a school in Reykjavík and it's way to exspensive to drive all this way! But I'll live with my sister and her family ... and their goldfish (which btw I though they would kill in a week or some hehe) I just hope everything will fall in the right place and then I can go meet my friends on holidays and my family and my darling kitty-cat. Everything is going to be a-ok!

Oh man last week-end was awsome! Well first on thirsday me and went shopping, totally fun. Then on friday I had to work but only for 9 hours. Then Saturday went to work (again) then to Akranes for make-up something and then to Reykjavík were I went to a photoshot (totally weird) and then to my sisters 23rd birtday party which was really the best time ever (well beside the fact that I was like almost the only single one and the youngest at the party). Then after a night out on the town with my sis and some of her friends and boyfriend we went back home to sleep. Sunday bought some clothes (yay) and then drowe home, listened to some great music and had a really great dinner at home with my mom and dad (and my brother :/ ). Today it's monday and the day has been okay as far as I can see. Schools fine, good stuff on TV tonight (Heroes *woo-hoo*).
Always getting to know better and better that I really luv my friends they're awesome (you hear that ) and my fam. and my sis hehe feelin' maybe to happy but hey I'll enjoy it while I can.

ok so it's sunday and I'm going to school tomorrow, nothing weird about that. I was sick fr like 5 days last week so I missed out a lot of school but managed to go to school for one day for some france-tests and stuff. Was workin' on friday night but since I looked like sh** my co-workers send me home one hour earlier.
Yesterday I went to the capital city for a movie with my family, saw "Night at the Museum" it's really funny actually.
Next saturday I'm going to the capital once again with one of my classes, we're going to a wall-climbing house (hmmm sounds strange) and then the 10th of february my sister is having a birthdayparty - and bestof all I don't have to babysit *wohooo*
After that I'm going to have to work a bit I think, since I usually spend my money like a crazy person. But enough for now ...

AH finally a new year has arrived It's gonna be so freaking awesome (that's my oppinion). Yesterday (last year ) we had a really nice meal and then watched some TV (me and my fam.) then after midnight I went outside to watch the fireworks and then I went to a party at my friends house, we've done this for some years now always fun was there too and a bunch of my friends. We had some drinks, some of us, and talked and one of my friend bought her playstation and some Singstar games, that was fun to. Anyway if this year is going to keep being this much fun I'm not gonna complain.

Anyways bought myself some subscription here on DA and wow I don't think I'm ever going back, it's way better this way ... also it's not that exspensive.

So I'm gonna go watch a movie or some and enjoy the fact that the year 2006 is over

... don't think I'm gonna count all my presents even though they weren't that many, but still. So now I've managed to turn the day totally around, sleep till 3 or something in the day but tomorrow I'm gonna have to go to work at 11 O.O scary ... not the timing but me when I go to work after no sleep :S
Anyway I'm going to meet my friends at a "party" on new years eve, we've done this last 4 years or more ... it's really fun and I hope that we'll have good weather. Usually this evening is so freaking cold you don't really feel like goinoutside to see the fireworks.. but still you drag your lazy ass outside for 15 minutes or some.

Life has been pritty fine since I got here a lot of money spent though I went to an Aqua Zoo today and took a lot of photos there which I will submit when I'll be home again. Tomorrow I'm going on a shopping trip to the next town ehm at least I think it's the next town, it's really close). Yup I'm sleeping and eating like a pig these days so it might be a good thing that i'm going home next week. The people that I'm staying with are really nice and drive me anywere I wanna go, I feel SO spoild and I so like it :-P I''ve been offered a ride to the south of the Netherlands for a day but I don't know if I'm going to take it becuase that means I'll have too stay there for like 10 hours or something and I'm just too lazy and don't know what to do there other than spend money and take photos, I'm such a tourist O.O Anyway talk to you soon gonna go to sleep soon because it's been a long day (and yeah I know tha clock is only 23:00 but I'm just so tired)

It's not like I've been up to much lately so this will not be long. Last friday my boyfriend came to my place and spent the night, it was ok not like it was the first time or anything and then yesterday my big sister came with her boyfriend and their adorable little daughter I just love that kid even though I've never liked small kids Today I'm supose to be studying for my oral exam in french but I just get started to lazy next week the final exams are starting, can't say I'm looking forward to it because I've got like five of them and the 2 most difficult ones are on the 14th and 15th dec so I don't have much time to learn for the one on the 15th that sucks but on the 6th I'll start working so I guess I'll have a lot to do after the exams to.
