The experience was great. I walked around speaking with each concept artist, modeler, animator and script writer that was around at the time. Each one was kind enough to show me all the work they'd done with my character, all of which was really f'ing impressive.

Now, to be honest, I didn't like any of the voices I came up with for the main character, but fortunately I was able to really sell myself with some of my villain voices because the lead developer happened to come to listen my recording sessions. His words to me were essentially "even if you don't play the lead role, you have so many voices that I'm almost certain we'll have you working on some major characters."

Anyway, I left happy and sad at the same time. Happy that I'd just had such an amazing experience and even got paid a bit for it, and sad that I had to leave the studio and knowing that they wouldn't need the voice actors back for quite some time.

I had met some of the staff a while back while auditioning for the cross-platform title "Monster Madness."

To make a long story short, I was asked to come in and do some recording for a small part this coming Friday. It's paid work in itself, but furthermore, they're bringing me in to have me audition for a bigger part in something else and to see how I sound alongside the female lead (who I imagine was already cast). I am, of course, very excited about this.

As a side note, Drew and I presented our vampire movie ([link]) in class today where it was met with much laughter and a very loud sincere applause at the end from the 150-200 students attending.

Today was a very pleasing day!

I kinda expected the thing with the dubs, but they took down all my sound files with the only justification being that they were MP3s. DA is not a place for voice actors. Basically the only way I would be allowed to post my voice clips is to embed them in flashes, and right now I'm disenchanted enough with DA that I have no desire to do so.

I now revert back to my old status of DA spectator... Damn I wish I could draw. Then, at least with some patience, I'd be able to animate. It's fine though. My inability to animate myself has, after all, resulted in my making many awesome friends.

To my fans, thank you all so much for your support. I do hope you will keep up with my stuff on SA, but if not it's been fun. Sorry I went and got all my stuff deleted by being stubborn.

This is the second thing that's been removed, and I have no idea what criteria is being used since I still have numerous dubs up on the site.

Basically, I filed an inquiry to find out for myself. I already realize that this could actually make the situation worse and get all of my dubs removed, but if that's the case, so be it. My dubs are still my art, and while they may be plagiarism by some rigid by-the-book definition, I don't think they cause any damages to the creators or attempt to take credit for their work or any of the negative things associated with the word.

I do hope that I am done justice (at least what is justice from my perspective) and that my dub is restored. I was able to accomplish this on Newgrounds with my original dub (whistled to death but then restored by the admins) thanks to the awesomeness of the Fulp brothers, but I'm not sure that DA advocates free expression in the same way that NG does. Only time will tell.

This is all very disappointing, but according to the rules quoted to me in the notice I got, I guess I am in violation since I wasn't submitting a work made "entirely" on my own.
