Hi everyone. This Journal is for anyone who's a fan of Pokemon. Weither it be Diamond/Pearl or Platinum, back to Pokemon Yellow. My topic is obviously about the new game; Pokemon Platinum. I'm only saying Pokemon that I recomend that I use/continue to use through out the game. Hopefully the strategy's I give you will help you advance to become the #1 Pokemon Master.

I'm going to start off with Pokemon I recomend through out the entire D/P/PL game. You can choose to use this or not. I just want to express my strong feelings for this game and it's features.

[REC001] Pokemon Recomendation:

You know what guys... As I play this game, I find it easyer to use the Pokemon called: SHINX. This Poke'mon turns out to be very useful on D/P/PL. Not only does SHINX use Thunder Fang (30ish % chance of paralisis or flinching), but you can teach it almost any Electric move! Not to mention, Luxray is epicly cute! 8D Shinx is too, but Luxray kicks ass seriously. You sadly have to wait till LV 42 for Thunder Fang if you let Luxiro evolve. But I like to wait till LV 33 on Luxiro before the final evolution to Luxray, that way Luxiro knows Thunder Fang before the evolution. Spark is another great move you get out of this Pokemon. Spark is basically like a Thundershock, but with a kick to it... When your SHINX learns "Charge" keep it seriously. When I started on Pokemon Pearl, I got rid of the move because I thought it was useless, but I ended up paying for it when along the way, GYARADOSE always went first, and made my SHINX/LUXIRO/LUXRAY faint, all the time. I went underground and after two hours of searching, got a "Heart Scale" and flew to PASTORIA CITY. There I talked to the man who can make Pokemon remember moves, and had Luxray remember Charge. Since that time, Spark, Tunder Fang, all those moves get super charged, knocking out Gyaradose's in one hit. (and yes my levels were around 40's compared to 30-35ish and I still got whipped out badly) So I strongly recomend keeping Charge because trust me, that move helps when you want a one-hit wonder. lol xD On that note, make sure that the SHINX you get has the ability: Intimidate. That ability is extreamly useful I believe. It cuts the attack of your foe, and sometimes you get the first move cause of the lowered stat.

Another useful Pokemon to me is Staraptor. Brave Bird is now my new favorite Flying type move (The power of it is 150/100, but the user takes serious damage) The speed department is what this bird is all about. From being a Starly it almost always goes first in a turn, but when Staraptor takes the stage... I duno, but to me, this bird is a god. It's call is marvelous, and Staraptor is just fluckin gorgeous! ^.^ So for any bird type lovers like myself, Staraptor is the way to go. (Also, if you dun know, Starly earns Brave Bird at LV 37, Staravia is 43, and Staraptor is 50) Remember, I don't recomend using Brave Bird alot due to the damage the Star's recieve, but if you're going against a strong fighting, grass, or bug type... The move should only have to be used once, because if your Star has Arial Ace, well, that move NEVER misses, so keep it. Arial Ace is a sure-shot move, don't make the Star forget it, you might regret it in the long run. On that note, make sure that the STARLY you get has the ability: Intimidate. That ability is extreamly useful I believe. It cuts the attack of your foe, and sometimes you get the first move cause of the lowered stat.

Budew's are a must in D/P/PL. When you fight the first Gym Leader, Rowan, he uses rock and ground types. Unless you have a fighting type like Monferno or Machop, or the water type Piplup, Bibarel.... You're screwed for the first badge. Not only does Budew learn every absorbing attack, it turns into Rosellia (but the friendship has to be 2 hearts or it's a no-go) Once Budew turns into Rosellia, I recomend that you level it up till it learns Giga Drain (unless you want her to learn Magical Leaf) then use a Shiny Stone to evolve her into Roserade. Budew, Rosellia and Roserade aren't one for defence, so have them drink alot of Iron if you want. Poison Point is a clever ability to me. (May poison the foe uppon contact) I've noticed that if you have Budew/Rosellia/Roserade hold "Poison Barb", the chances of this ability working grow. As well if you give one of them the "Big Root", the power of Absorb, Mega and Giga drain increase, having alittle more then half (or all of it) hp recived. Roserade is one of the cute GRASS-Poison types to me I guess, I'm really not a huge grass type fan... But I do love Bulbasuar. Name: Toshi Kumo or Nori Noriga

Age and Gender: Male, 12 before time skip, 16 after

Likes: Ramen, Naruto, Misume, and Mar, music of all kind.

Dislikes: Real high pitched noises, dog whistles, cutting, and Orochimaru

Village: Leaf and Sound

Appearance: Toshi looks just like Naruto. The only difference is his hair is light blue. Has fox-like ears and a big bushy fox tail. When heÂs 16, he looks like an innocent 9-year-old girl.

Eyes: Emerald green

Hair: Light blue

Bloodline Limit: Shape shifting

Personality: A big baby but can be very aggressive and protective of his friends.

Weapons: Nothing but his shape shifting powers

Ninjutsu: Shadow Clone Jutsu

Genjutsu: none

Taijutsu: None

Weakness: HeÂs vulnerable just like a regular human

Family: Misume (Sister) Orochimaru, and Kabuto considering he lives there.

Background: Toshi came from a cruel history of war and death. His father Hishte Noriga fought and died in the battle, leaving Nori with his very ill mother. He lived in a village where only few villagers walked. Demons only owned the territory. When Toshi was 6, his mother had stepped into a giant poison plant, causing her to be very ill; no cure on the earth could save her.

On his birthday, the 13th of October, his father died in battle with the leaf village. Soon after, his mother died from a heart attack. Later on, he went and began a new life in the Dragon Village, home of Kumo, who became his secret crush. When he had arrived, something odd had occurred, in the rain, his body wouldnÂt function at all, and this would cause a problem.

In time, he had learned how to use chakara to shape shift, just like his father did. Nori soon found out that his secret crush; Kumo became an evil experiment for Orochimaru, with the 10-tailed dragon as her host. Toshi then sacrificed himself to make sure that wouldnÂt happened, but ended up becoming a new tool to use, he would become MisumeÂs brother. Nori had soon changed his name to Toshi, to be rid of his name that his father gave him; he chose to be dead last to him.

To Toshi, he would always remember, and love Kumo.

He never knew what happened to the boy, only to assume he was dead, as well as ToshiÂs heart.
