I managed to watch a special screening of the New Star Trek film last night. I will say that thank god I watched it for free.

I will respect everyone who wants to see this film (and judge for yourself) and not spoil anything (YET). I will say I went into this with as much of an open mind as possible and I came away from it borderline between mildly to extremely disappointed/disgusted.

I have new found Hatred for J.J. Abrams, Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci who obviously didn't do enough homework on Star Trek. It's not to say that the film is not a good action movie. It's quite decent, but the source material is so badly disrespected. As I said NOT ENOUGH HOMEWORK went into this. It was watching a real bad Fan Fiction Script come to life. I'm just sorry that Leonard Nimoy endorsed this.

My reaction as the film ended, Those three Living Turds (Abrams, Kurtzman and Orci) just just spoon fed me Crunchy Bullshit and called it Rocky Road Ice cream. Sure I got some sweets from it, but I'm still eating Shit!

Anyways, as I said, see it and judge for yourself.

ALL IS RIGHT WITH THE WORLD AGAIN!!!!

On to another topic......

I recently saw "Crank: High Voltage."
Now I'd give a much more detailed, slightly comical review but the words would do this movie no Justice.

This was the Greatest nonsensical Movie I've ever seen. 90 minutes of Cinematic Awesomeness. This is Sooooo getting a Spot on my Blu-Ray player. Just see this Movie!

Also saw a "Obsessed".
Ugh!!!! I want my money back!!!! I saw this Movie once before. It was called "The CRUSH". Also this is a Bizarro version of "FATAL ATTRACTION"!!!!

Beyoncé go back to singing. You have no business being an ACTRESS!!!! I kept expecting Ali Larter to to kick you in the face the same way you got kicked in the face in GOLDMEMBER.......The same 3 KICKS!!!!

Okay, My blood pressure is slowing down. Time to find that disk and go back to work. Later on it's Art work time!!!!!

Not going to be able to post any work for a while. Thanks to this nasty "catch a Virus every 7 years" trend, I had to get my hard drive wiped of everything. (good thing I have an external Hard Drive)But I ended up losing photoshop and I have to search for a disk program just to work the damn scanner.

I'm looking into new avenues to get photoshop back before I decide to have to pay an arm and a leg for it. My previous sources (or I should say so-called friends) are acting like childish hypocritical idiots. The Pot calling the kettle black sort of mentality.

Anyways, that is a pointless topic for me to vent about so I won't waist your time and mine. So I will say that hopefully I'll be back in running order in short time. (I hope) So to Mr.Majesty's request as well as some Classic Trek Characters, and some other stuff, that will be my first order of business when I get Photoshop back on.

Is there a good art program other than photoshop that I can acquire that wont cost my arm, Leg, my left nut, as well as 3/4 of my hair on my head?

I'm open to suggestions.

Forever's Log: 62609.1

Just got home from Watching the new "Friday The 13th part Remake" just a couple of hours ago and I must say it wasn't all that bad. I do have some things I have to call McBullshit on. More on that later.

The Plot goes something like this:

Crystal Lake
Friday the 13th 1980.
Major Kira is taking a vacation from Deep Space Nine, suddenly snaps and starts killing camp counselors until she confronts the last one. As Kira is rambling on about how neglect from the Horny Counselors led to the drowning of her son Jason, The Final Girl chops off her head. (Sisko's going to be Pissed!!!!) All this happens in front of a young and very much alive Jason. (This Takes place in the first 2 minutes of the Movie)

Fast Forward 30 years: After we get 20 minutes Plot, Exposition and Killings, we fast forward again 6 more weeks!

Sam Winchester (without his brother Dean who died and went to Hell called "My Bloody Valentine.....in 3D") goes looking for his missing sister who went missing 6 weeks prior (Sam and Dean have a sister?). He bumps into Trent (the douche bag from "Transformers" who wouldn't let Megan Fox drive his truck in that film) and his friends: The Chick from "SkyHigh", Owen Wilson, Two Hot BLONDES, Chris Brown and Chewbacca the Wookie, who are going to a lake house for some Sex, Drugs and Liquor Debauchery.............................Until Jason Voorhees shows up and starts to lay the Slasher Smackdown on them!!!!

The Good:
-Story aspects of the first 4 Friday movies incorporated into the film. You'd really need to see those films to know what They Are. Plus some "Easter Eggs".

-If you're a fan of "Supernatural", this is the closest to seeing the Winchesters do battle with Jason. The only one missing is Dean Winchester and the Impala!

-Jason is a much more cunning and dangerous killing machine. It also helps that he's Human in this story. I think he's scary again. Jason even starts off with the sack on his head (From Part 2) and they show how he gets the trademark Hockey Mask. (which he gets in Part 3)

-The kills go from standard hack-n-slash to extremely gruesome. Two people in particular get the most horrible deaths that actually made me feel really bad for these characters. One almost borderline on Torture Porn which I am not a big fan of.

-Just as important, there is a LOT of Nudity and SEX in this movie!!!! Which you kinda need in a Friday Movie!

The Bad:

-One particular Kill that bordered on "Torture Porn" It took the "Sleeping Bag" death from part 7 to a whole new Degree.

-No Dean Winchester or the Impala!!!!

-There is absolutely no way in the universe that Jason would ever, EVER take a Prisoner! Regardless of the Circumstances.

-Not enough Ki, Ki, Ki, Ma, Ma, Ma. This is Jason's Theme song for crying out loud!!! Not to mention the score didn't sound like a Friday film.

-When did Jason become a grower of Marijuana? More importantly, when did he get a degree in Electrical Engineering?

Over All the movie didn't disappoint. Go Check it out. It's good for what it is.

Wanted to wish everyone out there a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Everyone have fun and Be safe.

As far as me. I am drawing but I keep finding myself getting distracted with different projects. It's a good thing I am on vacation.

What's got me distracted? I've always been a fan of Starship/Spaceship cutaways, so I've been going through a painstaking amount of research of set photos, CG images and other blueprints of the Enterprise (TOS & TMP) and putting together a cutaway of MadKoFish's Enterprise design. (or at least my thoughts of the interior)

In honor of the Late Majel Barret, I'm drawing a Nurse Chapel to join my TOS crew.

That and a whole lot more.

As I was House/Dog sitting, I was drawing some characters for the next Trek Picture I am going to do. As much as I think that having the Original Crew there the line up is not quite complete. Something is missing. I know what it is but I'm going to let you guys take a guess.

As far as drawing bridges and The Enterprise are concern? I bit off a little more than I can chew. But much like a Jackass, I'm too stubborn to know when to quit. It might take a little more effort than Normal but I'll catch "Lightning in a Bottle".

As far as Drawing TNG, DS9 and Voyager Crew goes? I have that on the back burner. There are other drawings I want to work on. I'm just glad my negative opinion of the upcoming Trek film motivated me to draw again. But there are other things I want to draw beside Star Trek.

Finally got done with My Classic Trek Characters revamp. Now after I get done with Turkey Dinner and Head off to House sit and take care of a couple of dogs, I'm going to get started on another Trek Picture.

I'm still trying to figure out what My version of the Enterprise Bridge will look like.

is my personal favorite for the Enterprise. I may draw her based on his awesome design!

I've been influenced to do my own Star Trek redesign based on my negative opinion of the New film and from the awesome Enterprise redesign I've seen by MadKoFish.

After working a couple of Pics and seeing a reduced prices on AMAZON, I decided to shell out the cash and buy the TOS series remastered dvds.

For some reason I decided to go backwards and get season 3 first (Mostly cause I wanted to see "The Cage" and because Season 3 for as bad as some of the episodes were, was a guilty pleasure for me.) I wasn't disappointed by what I watched so I went on to order the other 2 seasons.

I got Season 2 which was my favorite season of TOS and was looking forward to watching it when I notice that the glass casing was unattached and there was some cracked glass. At first I wasn't going to let it bother me but then I opened it up more and discovered that there was broken glass inside the disk casings as well.

I didn't bother to see if the disk was playable. I repackaged everything, reported and reordered a replacement for my damaged product!
From the way it was packaged, I can't blame this on shipping!

I was disgusted that I tolerate this SHIT when Taco Bell (or other fast-food places) pulls crap like this but AMAZON pulling this was ridiculous!

GRRR!!!!!

Wow it's been a while for me to even write down one of these. I normally blog my personal stuff on myspace that I leave this for more artwork stuff.

However I find this to be a slight exception.
Last week I was fighting a fever of 102 with the weather outside matching it (give or take a degree or two), my car needed to have the breaks changed and that was quite costly, I had to help my friends move a 350lbs TV, Move out of their apartment/House, then finding myself in the hospital because I refused to get rest when my fever caught up to me. To top it off, My Computer's power source blew out. Effectively keeping me from doing any art on my computer.

Funny that I placed my artwork ahead of my own health!

Anyways, The Car's okay, The Heat is SLOWLY dropping, My Fever's gone, I got out of the hospital, The TV is where it belongs, My Friends are where they need to be, and my computer luckily survived and is once again powered.

Time to get back to work.

It's been a while since I've had anything to write about, Life been a little hectic to write anything and barely been able to find the time to work on my artwork.

This week I am taking a much needed vacation to Las Vegas of all places. I have some family there and I intend to do some gambling and getting into some Naughtiness, The GOOD Kind!!!!

Well I had it done to me. I recently put together a pic using my Lex Luthor Character design (MY DESIGN) and I put pictures of the different actors who played Lex and I am in a violation of Deviant Art Policies!!!

Maybe I am making a mountain out of a mole hill, but I found that to be full of shit!!!!

Well this weeks been pretty rough. I've had no time to myself with Work, Field trips, Work, Harry Potter, Field Trips, Work. I'm sensing a pattern here.

What Sucks is that I don't get to relax this weekend and do any artwork. I get to work at The Sac-Anime show for my Buddy who is one of the directors of the Con.

The good thing is that there is an Artemis Radio reunion at this con. I get to hang with my friends from the time I used to do this Internet Radio show called Artemis Radio. If anyone one's heard of us let me know. According to Scott, we got thousands of Hits when we did the show for 4 or 5 years.

So Scott Anime, Shrum, Fleener, The Girl, Mr.Tony and the Mexican are reunited for one weekend. I'm looking forward to it.
