I never realized how much time has passed. Lately I've been so absorbed with my next flash project that I didn't even know it has been almost two months (again!)I feel so old. Right now, I put my Kid Icarus flash on hold and currently doing something else.

This one is a Saria/Oot flash. I'm not abandoning the other one, but this one will be easier to complete due to the fact that I won't need voice actors for it. Its a music video. Right now, I've gotten about 45-50% of the animating done.

I'd give it about two months before it is ready. Mainly because I'm in the middle of moving to a different city.

I'm sure by now you've heard on the news about the floodings and levee breaks. Well, a couple of days after came home to visit my parents, our area got hit with some flooding.

The good news is that our town didn't receive any flood damage. Bad news, about every other community around our town did. Now, I'm thankful that our town was spared. I don't even know how. Was our town built on higher ground? Were we far enough from any rivers to prevent flooding?

In terms of utilities, we lost the cable for two days. I know it sounds whiny, but it was when my dad's factory makes its debute on the show "Factory Made" on the Science Channel. It seriously cut off right before they were going to show his segment. So now I have a spare tape ready to record it if we get a chance to see it again.

Finally, a rumor on the radio said that the city was going to shut off the water for an indefinite amount of days. Well, that sent down the hole. Every one went to Wal-Mart and bought out every bottle of water that they can get within 30 minutes that they announced it(combined with the fact that shipments haven't been arriving due to the closed highways.) I bought about four cartons, two for my family and two for my grandparents. There was some people that would load up their cart and have two more stacked high with their kids pushing them. There was no meat, milk, diet soda... there was just so many areas where it was empty.

One hour later, the rumor was decomfirmed .

Its been a few days, I really wanted to write about it earlier but at the same did not. I'm happy that one of the worst floodings in a long time went around our town but I'm just still shocked.

I'm not so sure if it is real or not. One thing for sure is: I'm glad the Ninja turtles are bald and wear nothing but belts. So if Leonardo's Captain Kirk...

A good guess would be that Dontello is Spock... but what would Raphael and Michelangelo be? Any ideas?

Anyways, I got a visit from Jehovah's Witnesses today. They were pleasant to talk to, didn't take too long, and didn't hand out a free bible. Although there was something odd about this visit. Now, my fiance's last name is Gan and he's half Chinese. Apparently that's how they picked our apartment. They brought over:

-Pamphlets in Chinese (I think simplified)
-A bible for him to read in Chinese

They asked if he speaks Chinese, and I told him he studied it from school. They then asked if it was English, but I corrected them and said no, English IS his primary language.

They weren't being racist at all. They were sweet old ladies, who probably didn't know much about how to approach people of a different background.

The only thing I can think of is that they thought we were immigrants since his name sounds so foreign.

Man, I didn't t time could fly so quickly. Well folks, according to the side here, I haven't made or visited Deviant Art since Feb 25. No, I didn't leave, I'm not mad at anyone. I just kind've got distracted.

Anyways, I was going through my collection of games one day only to realize a few things:

1) I never finished VP nor started its sequel.
2) Never started Onimusha (I think that's how it's spelt)
3) Halfway done with Mortal Kombat: DA
4) Need to start Kingdom Hearts
5) haven't started Twilight Princess

So I told myself that I would try to at least finish some of these before getting any more.

All was going well until "it" came. Smash Bros Brawl.

So from that point on until today, I've been under the biggest gaming binge in a long time (even worse since I've borrowed Harvest Moon from my sister )

In that time, I did manage to finish Valkyrie Profile 1 though. If you are not familiar with the series, this game is LONG. Especially if you are the type who wants to level up to the maximum stats. The last dungeon (the secret one) takes about 2 to 3 hours to complete without any save spots in between. Ouch. Neat thing is that the characters are voiced by alot of the main stars of the first pokemon cartoons. I think the main character is done by Officer Jenny and the lead male is Brock.

Another funny thing to note is that the one who plays Jesse does two characters. However, she makes no effort to try to hide the fact that she plays both of them despite one being like 12 and the other is in their mid twenties.

So now, I'm at Harvest moon and Tales of Symphonia (dah I got distracted again). I haven't did anything else aside from going to work and fixing dinner. I'm trying to slowly get back to my old routine. You know you did too much gaming when your hands hurt and at night, you dream you are playing the game, open your eyes and realize your holding an invisible controller.

Anyways, I liked playing as Pikachu in the first and second games (gotta love the laser sword in his mouth) but Pichu was just awful in the second.

Now that I'm making this flash (actually, it resembles more along the lines of a slide show since I'm not putting much effort into animating it) I've been trying to do the sound of a Pichu and I can't get it right.

It's kind of pathetic.
So I was driving to work on a lovely Thursday morning when the "Start Engine Soon" came on. I was about a block away from the school so I drove it over there. It sounded fine up till that point but by the time I got there, it was like it was really working hard to make it there; no smoke but the noise was off.

The car was towed after a few phone calls and a day later... I got the big kick in the gut: the car would cost about $2000 to fix. **** I still owe about 15 grand to college loans.

However, my dad was able to help me out. He also helped me out by preventing them from trying to weasel more money out of me.

Anyways, here's what they tried to do. Imagine three people at a shop. They charge $92 per labor hour. However by their math, they were charging it as in: person a would open up car do a check up, close the hood. Person b would repeat this and then again with person c. My car was going to be charged as if it was being fixed three times over.

Then I got it back today, all fixed up... except they busted my locks on my drivers door! Oh my gosh, I open the door and hear a grinding noise in my locks that would not stop. I had to go inside and get them to disable the button locks.

I dedicate the title of this entry to one of my favorite musicals out there: Avenue Q . Why I used this? Because that was all Deviant art was to the library. It was porn. It had nude content and there fore it was banned.

But now that our finances are solid, we decided to get the internet. Although for the first month I can't help but feel that ATT is over charging us. We got a bill for like 146 dollars... well supposedly we were going to get a rebate and reduce that by at least 50 and get the modem thing for free. Well didn't happen.

The nice thing about internet at home is that I'll be able to post some of my stuff easier. I'm working on a flash right now. It has already been written and so far I'm close to getting the first chapter done. I'll post one screenshot in a moment. I do warn you that the shadowing and lightening isn't in yet so it looks a little flat. However, I always try to work with flats first because if those look bad then shadowing and lightening won't do squat.

Anyways, I'm going to go around and look at everyone's profiles to see how they are doing.

I will never take internet access for granted again.

After a painstaking 3 moves... over the course of one year, me and my fiance finally have our own apartment at last. It's cozy, has a nice corn view (I lived in the country for most of my life... living at the dorms and in a city disturbs me a little), and I'm closer to the Employment market.

Originally I moved in on the 10th. That was my tentative date. However, one thing happened that I never expected: The library banned Deviant Art because it is labeled a porn site . Yeah...

Everything is settled. Its not that I didn't like the person we were liviing with, but it felt ackward. Like, I kept questioning myself if I should use "item a" eat "sample 2" ...

There is one lesson that I've learned from living there.

Beagles have feelings too.

I feel sorry for the part Beagle/ part basset hound... before her owner was always away and she had no one. Then I came along, hang out with her every day for three months... giving her treats, rubbing her belly and taking her out for walks.

Lordy, she gained like two fat rolls at her neck because I spoiled her so much.

Sadly, when I left, the owner called me a day after, and told me her dog was crying, not eating and sitting by the door... apparently waiting for me

So, for the next few weeks, I'll be making stops here and there so that maybe it would make the transition from me not being there a little easier.

The job market has been tough. I was narrowed down to six people in one interview... and I got passed between one other person because they were internal and I wasn't. Lame.

Ah well, I'm getting closer, if not, I'm getting a subsitute license so I can get to know the town better while making a network.

Anyways, I have a lot to catch up on this site... Art alerts are in the triple digits.

Speaking of art, I have been up doing some work on Flash since I was without the internet at night.

I still have that Team Rocket sketch that really needs to be finished.

Sorry I haven't been on Deviant Art in a while. I'm still waiting to get my own internet access so I can communicate more efficiently again because let's face it, an hour doesn't really cut it when you have to job hunt and check how people are doing at the same time.

But still, I luv you guys and just wanted to drop a line on how things are going.

Right now is probably a good time to find a job. Remember that temp job that I mentioned from my last entry? Well, I loved working there so much that I've made it my effort to try and get permanent placement there. There are two positions for clerical work, one in HR and the ER. ER would probably require more under pressure work. Then there is one at this one school where I could work with kids and teachers as a technology aide. It doesn't sound too secure in terms of long term, but sounds like a lot of fun. I know enough about computers to do light-handed troubleshooting, I was a computer assistant for two years at Ball State so I've dealt with various programs (including crappy ones like ALICE), but most importantly I've went as a teaching major during half my time there. I have expierence with communicating with children and high schoolers. (Crap, enough of this, I feel like I'm typing my cover letter instead of a journal entry )

My biggest problem is trying to create my cover letters. I'm going to try and contact my college to see if they would help me out.

Aside from that, we picked out the apartment. I'm quite pleased with it because not only is it decently priced but it is a street away from the library.

Now, I did mention a DUIer in my title. What had happened was he was driving to work at night on a highway. On his way to work, he has to drive through a small town before continuing his drive. He was in a fairly new Toyota truck when this small chevy with a spoiler turned infront of him.

He discribed to me that this little car was driving a little erractically. the road was 55 mph yet sometimes he was going slow, then normal, slow then fast... like his car wasn't in the right gear half the time.

Finally, the man in front was driving about forty miles an hour and my
dad reached a passable area so naturally he did so. That is where all hell broke lose.

This forty mile an hour car suddenly began to speed up. Daddy said one moment he could see the head lights and the next not. He then felt something banging the back end. Apparently the DUIer got angry and started wailing this tiny chevy against my Dad's honky tonk Tayota. Dad started fiddling with his cell phone and called 911 immediately. However, the guy just kept banging the front of his car into my Dad's. I guess not all his brain cells were dead after a hard night of partying. He came to the conclussion that he wasn't doing hardly any damage and suddenly pulled to the side of the truck and began to bang it there too.

No police in sight, my Dad slammed on the gas and was forced to drive fly at almost ninty miles an hour with the chevy in hot persuit. Finally, they reached a four way. My dad drove straight into the gas station and he flew by the red light. At this point, the police still haven't showed up yet and my dad wasn't going to allow this guy to "get away". So, keeping a VERY far distance, he kept driving. He didn't want to persue the guy persay but because he knew the country roads, if the guy tried to dodge the police he'd know where he at least turned.

The cops came at last, and he actually pulled over to them. Drunk as a smelly skunk, he was immediately arrested. Wanna hear something that almost made me throw up when I heard it? The guy had a really BIG hand gun at his side.

The damage estimates were about 3500 on the truck. He was a little worried that the man's insurance won't cover it since the damage was intentional and not accidental. But I'm sure he'll figure that out later. Do you know the irony of all this is? A few weeks ago he applied for a motorcycle license and after work that night, he was going to go to Illinois to pick up the bike with the truck.

I'm one step closer out of the post-college phase. Since the day I graduated, I've been keeping a really sharp eye on my money. If I could walk it, I did. Me and my fiance worked on eating food from our last aparment. The most we did a week was spend five dollars on renting movies at Blockbuster and maybe a couple of cheeseburgers from McDonalds as a way of entertaining ourselves. It wasn't that we were poor (I have at least five hundred in the bank and he has alot more) but I didn't want to be stuck if some emergency came up like car problems or something health related.

The hardest part was not having the internet at home. It made a lot of stuff difficult. Aside from deviant Art and checking the daily updates on Smashbros.com, it made job hunting more difficult.

Finally, after a month, I finally got a breakthrough. I managed to land a temp/ with the possibility of permanent job at the hospital. Get this, for nine dollars an hour, I just scan stuff and document them and go home. My guess its just monotonous. I'm not complaining. They said that after all that is taken care of, I may get moved to receptionist.

I'm glad I listened to my Dad. I told him that maybe I could work at Texas Roadhouse and earn alot of money. He told me I was better than that and I should go for something that was more of a "career builder" instead of something that just made more money.

I'm just really excited right now. Before I was worried that if I didn't find a job soon, I wouldn't be able to put the deposit and first rent of the new apartment we will be going into or pay my loans right now (while there is no interest).

I really needed something to boost my energy up. Ever since moving to Tipton for the summer I've been bored out of mind. I'm not depressed mind you, but I litterally have nothing to do. I'm saving my gas tank until I can pick up some temp work (I can't get long-term until we move again), the tv only has three channels and I've played Dynasty Warriors 5 so much that I've gotten about 30 of the "48" alternative endings, almost all the items, costumes, saddles and orbs.

Well, after putting it through some thought, I finally did it. I got a hair cut.

Mind you, this is a big change simply for the fact that from my scalp down, it was almost two feet long. When I got it done, it was down to about three inches or a little below my ears. There was so much hair on the floor that it looked like Cousin It was playing in the lawn mower.

Do I like it? Actually I was surprised at how well it turned out. Not only does it feel cooler and doesn't stick to my face when I walk or sleep but it looks 10x healthier since the lost weight of it has caused my natural thick waves to show up again.

Now I have something to play with until I can have full access to internet (I don't really trust these computers here at the library because they have a ton of trojans). It won't be long, I think like two more months from now.

We've already found the perfect apartment at 545 a month for one bedroom or 599 for two but we are going to stay the woman's house until the internship is up and my fiance has a solid income going since her's is only 300 a month(and she pays for all utilities)

Back in April I had this glorious vision that the month of May was going to be my most relaxing month ever. I graduate on Cinco de Mayo, spend the next three weeks playing around with my animation bible, finish my Team Rocket picture (that I think I've been touching here and there since February and move out of the old apartment) well that didn't quite happen as I hoped it would.

Anyway, if you read the last entry, you know what I've been doing for the past three weeks. So I'll skip that part.

I've now moved into a new town that is about a 1/10 the size of my old one(hint: it has a staggering population of about 5000). But with any sized town, there are its benefits. Folks are friendly with no worries about anyone stealing anything. I haven't seen a cop car here yet. However I've been spending alot of time inside getting to know the nice lady who is putting me and my fiance up. For a cheap 300 dollar rent, we get to stay in an air conditioned house, no utility bills, and a guard dog named Bernice (half basset hound and beagle). She's quite cute. I'll have to take a picture of her.

Plus the lady works like double shifts. It is like we own the house. But we try our best to conserve electricity and help out in the house. These are rare acomedations that you don't want to abuse.

Although there are three things she doesn't have that I wish was around:

1) her tv has only one channel and she she doesn't have a DVD player. The PS2 is going to get some lovin' this summer.

2) Non-coffee drinker.

3) no internet. Sure there is the library but it is limited to one hour per person. I'll have some trouble going back and reading entries but I'll try. Shot, they have this giant clock on the monitor. So when your time is up, no more for the day.

Speaking of time, the clock is at 39:00 minutes. I have to go find some resume addys for my job hunting.

Man, took alot longer than I thought it would but I finally finished school. I took a long break from Deviantart and my Animation Project to crank out a seven page paper over "Green", create a visual basic project (horray, I can program the computer to open the file dialog box and save ) analyze the scheme of Ocean's 11 for Project management (best assignment ever!) and create like four databases for my ISOM class before taking the weekend to study over three classes.

It feels so good right now. Even as I type, I feel like I owe something but I DON'T!!!

I even got revenge with my Spanish teacher who failed me in one class because she can't assess. No seriously, this teacher was awful. One example: she spent two weeks drilling us over this one war and kept shouting (literally) in espanol that we need to know every detail for our next test (she only has three of them and no homework). Right before the test, she showed a slide show of little pink churches in Mexico. She would say their name, where it is located, when it was built and move on. Next day, test was ALL on churches and nothing on the war. The next test, she threw in the war questions in which NO ONE, not even the dude who somehow managed to do well on the last two tests expected.

Anyways, in every class she has, the failure/drop out rate is 90%. I am NOT making that statistic up. The program, because it needs graduates, can't fire her because of tenure and so they just dropped her class as required for the major. People, including myself go an extra semester just to avoid hers. (Main reason I'm graduating this semester instead of the last)

So, what I did was that last year, I borrowed a book for one of my reports. This book happened to be the same one that I needed for my Spanish class that I needed to graduate with . Last year I forgot to return it and, this year I used it instead of paying $60 for it at the bookstore and today I happened to notice a bin. I thought about returning the book to her, kind've slip it under her door and run like hell. Instead, I send her book to the poor regions of Africa as a donation.

Revenge normally isn't my cup of tea. I am a person who believes in love over hate, forgiving over repressing. However, she was a bitch and I will gladly not miss her when I leave this place.

Well, I got alot of catching up to do. Especially with the art box. So many pretties and finally so much time to enjoy.

A deviant who I watch who was suicidal just posted today and seems alot better now.

I can work outside with my laptop again!

I can pull out my bicycle and start riding around the college paths.

I won't have to rely on the buses as much! I can walk to the video store and pull out some weekend selections.

Plus, I got alot done on my two other academic projects that it will be easier to do my horrible horrible Green paper.

Unfortunately, alas some things most always go wrong. I was trying to take out the ladybugs from my apartment so I can free them into this nice weather but sadly I keep killing them by accident That really bites. I try to do the right thing and I keep doing the opposite.

Ohhhh, how I hate this paper. I found out recently that I don't have to write a four page paper but a 1200 word paper... aka about six pages long

I'm at about 460 right now but my brain can't take it.

So I decided to take a small break and rent a videogame. I go over to the local Family Video store and picked up Star Ocean: Till the End of Time. I thought, well, it is by Tri-Ace, the box looked beautiful. Plus it was $.99 for five days!

Let's hope it is any good. So far I'm not impressed but I've yet to fight a battle so I'll give it a chance . Although it does give me motion sickness. Maybe because I haven't really picked up a game in over a month.

School is picking up at a mean pace but it will all be over in three weeks. Then I can have fun once more. I've been neglecting the story beats on my cartoon for the third episode. People are going to kill me for what I've been working on for the past year. But, I've never been one to be afraid of breaking tradition.

Another thing that I'll be grateful will be the end of my hallucinations. Whenever I get really stressed (such as my little Green Poem that decides graduation or not) Imaginary people visit me at night. Now, don't think I'm crazy, because frankly, I know they aren't real. But it is just so annoying to wake up and have someone tell you to do something stupid.

Ever seen "A Beautiful Mind"? Yeah, I have that problem. Made great fan fiction fodder. Some of the stuff I wrote actually came from a few ackward conversations with them. I've met a couple of nice hallucinations. Last night was one of them. He was Skinhead but oddly enough he tried to give me a nazi book. I told him no. He said that was fine. He then told me to eat my Tolberone bar (thing was huge) and my chocolate easter eggs. Can't say no to chocolate. I have a stomach ache right now but I'll be fine.

I'm glad that if I had to have illusions that they aren't mean and nasty like some stories I've heard. You know, the type that made that one woman who drowned her five kids (although I personally think she made that one up to avoid being electrocuted) or those that force people to kill themselves or swallow a bunch of pills.

Nope, I just sit on the couch, watch one of them stand around throwing suggestions at me for a story or another that tells me to eat chocolate. If I tell them no, they listen. At the same time, I know they are fake and they never appear when someone is in the room. Only when I'm alone. Hallucinations aren't that bad. Hell, I rather discuss a movie with my mild-mannered skinhead than go through a seizure.

Well, back to my Poetry Paper. The sooner I get that done, the quicker they can disappear

Well originally I was going to rant about my experience about a bunch of llamas on the highway when me and my fiance were driving back from Easter but that's going to have to wait.

When I first heard on Pokedorks about Contest 16, I figured it would be something fun to do. So, I put off my Team Rocket picture (that one's looking really good. I finally got Meowth right :woot: ) and work on an entry. I left the good version at home by accident during Spring Break so I redid a quick one by mouse. At this point, I wasn't happy with the second one's design not because it is bad (I think it's actually cute ) but the first one was so much better. In the end, I had fun drawing it and considering I hadn't picked up a pencil in six years, it gave me practice and showed me where I need to improve (lighting and shading need the most work)

But there was one thing that really upseted me today. When me and my fiance got back after driving around two accidents and a pack of wild llamas I went to check to see how my picture did. Well, I got my comment, which made me happy but then I also got my first devfav and my fourth devfriend.

I checked their profile, it turned out, they favorited EVERY person who entered Contest 16 in almost the same order that they were listed. It really made me sad at that moment. They don't care what it looked like or even any of the smaller details in it.

It reminds me alot of what Rachel (StardragonBlue) said in one of her journal entries about people who fav things just for others to notice them.
Here is a link to that entry if you want have a good read:
[link]

I don't know why it made me sad. I knew that this stuff happens on here, it could be the stress of my "Green" paper acting up or the cold weather. But if they are going to fav it, I want it to be because they actually liked it, not because it is a good way for them to advertise around.

Well, I feel better, unfortunately, at the cost of my encounter with the runaway llamas of the highway.

I have never visited Popeye's before but yesterday that had changed. I've always been a fried chicken fan since my home in the southern parts of Indiana contains a colony of Amish. When I left for college that was one thing I missed: their chicken. All their food is made from scratch and decently priced. They always showed good hospitality and they even cooked for the inmates at my cousin's jail.

Damn, I miss those Mennonites.

Anyways, me and Fiance drove over to Popeye's. The manager was cleaning the area after a lunch rush. My fiance went to the restroom while I waited on the side. I turned to the manager and asked him how spicy the chicken was.

Well bless his heart, he said to me to try it for myself and gave me a free piece of chicken. I expected him to just describe it to me.

He was such a nice manager unlike the one I had during Highschool. I worked at Hardees (Carl Jr. to some) where the manager would assign me nothing but the cleaning assignments. Although I preffered sweeping floors over hot grease popping at me, I'd like a little variety in my life. But it made no difference to me. I was always guaranteed forty hours a week so it was good money.

However, one time when it was dead (well actually anytime after breakfast the place is dead) I was in the back resupplying the meat for the cook area when I noticed these two guys and my manager standing over in the bread area. I didn't think much of it since I had no real say on who was allowed in the back. The two guys left and I looked up.

There was my manager sniffing crack on the flour counter. I mean, come on, she was doing it in the exact same area where we make biscuits! Most of the people who eat our breakfast are like old. What if that stuff got mixed up with the flour itself? We'd have an entire room of elderly high on coffee and crack!

Well, I didn't say anything. I just continued to take the dishes and wash them.

To see such a nice manager at Popeyes somehow triggered that memory of my not so nice manager at Hardees.

And so, I dined on my delicious cajun chicken and biscuits.

Crack-free I hope.

Graduation is creeping up on me. I've about a month left of school before I head out to the real world. But before I do so I have to pass this one class. Now, I can fail the other three classes if I wanted to except for my SP 360 or Spanish Literature. Would you like to know the difference between passing and failing?

The Green Poem.

I have to write a four page paper in spanish over a "the green poem". It was written by Juan Ramon Jimenez and it goes like this(translated):

Green was the maiden, green, green!
Green her eyes were, green her hair.

The wild rose in her green wood
was neither red nor white, but green.

Through the green air she came.
(The whole earth turned green for her).

The shining gauze of her garment
was neither blue nor white, but green.

Over the green sea she came.
(And even the sky turned green then).

My life will always leave unlatched
a small green gate to let her in.

It really isn't a bad poem. It's just, well how exactly are you going to talk about something like this in four pages? All I can think of right now is that it is very... green.

I like Jimenez's work but seriously, my graduation is on the line. I got about a page done. Well wish me luck.

I had forgotten what it was like to have a sports injury up until last weekend. My fiance asked me to perform twenty long jumps for his class. I agreed and did so. However, when we went to check on the film, it turned out that he only got pictures of me doing longjumps. Since his assigment was due on Tuesday I did 20 more again.

It wasn't until the next day when I couldn't even get up. Apparently I did some tearing on my front part of my thighs and lower abs. This meant sitting down and getting up was really hard to do. Shoot, I couldn't even go to the computers or sit down while taking my test that was worth 1/3 of my grade.

Today I'm feeling alot better. I may not be grooving down the street but I can get around.

On a side note, I would like to note that this season's orange juice crop is really good this year (Tropicana) and Happy Feet is out. I thought about getting the special that they have at Wal-Mart but I'm pretty sure they'll come out with a 2 or 3 disk special edition in about a month or two.

Notice anything different? I'm no longer 25, I'm 24 now. Apparently while I was filling out all the nifty tidbits I accidently made myself a year older than I should be. Oddly enough, I didn't catch it until I was talking with my dad over health insurance and he mentioned my age. Strange how he can remember that but always forgets my birth date.

I was sitting in my room working on a Visual Basic project (I'm not good at it but I thought it would be an interesting class to try out) when I overheard my sister saying that was going to break up with her current boyfriend. Now, this guy isn't a jerk, but the problem is, he doesn't see her much (I'll give you a hint, the last time the two met was when still had a Christmas tree up). At the same time, he probably has good reason too. His mother has brain cancer and he works two jobs just to pay for her treatment.

Anyways, now here is where it gets really weird. While my sister is off to tell the news, me and my mother had a conversation. I played this one PC game called "Cradle of Rome" while my mother, began talking about her past loves and this one story where the police came in, drunk as skunks, and pointed rifles at all the waitresses and my Mom (the cashier at the time). You may think that is silly, but this was the Philippines back when it was under a dictator and a shoe obsessed wife. (even more odd was that the day after, all the mayor did was ask the police to apoligize to the waitresses and my mom before going back to business)

Then my sister comes into the room and announces that she didn't break up because the guy then presents to her an engagement ring, a Valentine's Day Bear and some melted chocolates.

It's nice to see my sister find love. She's had a hard life. She works night shift at a motel, she's 27 but still living with our parents and doesn't really have any friends except for me. I'm happy for her.

I've been here for almost a month and I still don't know how to submit a piece of art or even to update my icon. When Spring Break comes, I will have to play around with this website some more.

Anyways, I call this post the chicken entry because of one thing: I can't stop eating chicken. Normally I'm not big on meat (I'm not a Vegetarian nor an animal rights activist... although I do try to purchase free graze as much as I can) but for some odd reason I had to have chicken everyday.

This is what my meals mainly comprised of last week
-Fried Chicken drummies from KFC
-Chicken Cajun Salad every other day
-Chicken Miliano when my fiance took me out
-Chicken Strips for a late night snack every night
-Chicken Cordon Bleu (did I spell that right?)
-Chicken Ranch Pizza from this local bar when my me and my friends went out
-Chicken Noodle soup for lunch about every two days
-Sandwiches with lean chicken breast slices

Anyone else see a problem with this? At least chicken is cheap. I'd hate to see what tab I would have on a Beef Binge.

On lighter news:
-I joined Pokedorks not too long ago. I'd like to put their icon on my sig but I have no clue how to do that.
-Cancelled my cable. I will NOT pay 70 dollars a month for a service that I watch 3 channels on. I could buy 2 or 3 DVD series every month. I'd rather buy a video game and entertain myself with that each month.
-Been practicing my drawing. Meowth is so hard to do.

The title speaks for itself. I use to blog over at IGN but over the year, I started growing tired of it. Now I figured I'd throw out my two cents here.

Right now is a busy time for me. I'm preparing to graduate from college so I've been focusing on class.

That's all I have to say for now. I have a lot to do right now. I guess the next to work on is customizing my page here.
