I’m on Winter Break now.
If I never have to see another math textbook again it will be too soon.
I do kind of miss Social Hour.

So hello there everyone, life is pretty sweet at the moment.
Schools alright, made so cool new friendlys. T.A. isn’t as hard as I thought it would be, then again it’s only the start of the year. Art class has been cool, doing a surrealism piece right now that involves fish and a building that I’m pretty sure could never exist on Earth.
Yeah.
I’m cool like that, defying the laws of perspective and probably gravity. It’s my creative license…

Anyway, I got tagged to list eight things about myself twice so I guess that means I have to list sixteen facts about myself. Thanks and , the world really needed to know sixteen things about me. xD

I have a deep love of music and I think I would be nice to play something but I’m too lazy.

I don’t comment a lot because I don’t think I have anything meaningful to say and I tend to make myself look stupid. I love to receive comments even if they are irrelevant which I think makes me kind of a hypocrite. xD The exception to this is my RL friends and close Internet friends who (I think) don’t mind my idiocy as much.

I keep a Microsoft Word document where I write down all the funny/wise things I hear.

I use ‘um’ a lot when I speak.

I worry more then I probably should.

I sleep very late.

I like to dance and sing. I am good at neither.

I laugh and smile a lot, even when I shouldn’t. I guess it’s a nervous tendency.

I like bright retina burning pink.

I love, love, love pastries and candy.

Apples are my favorite fruit.

I want to learn how to sew but I’m scared.

I’m a nerd and I am proud of it. 8D

I use “scientific words”. xD

Breakfast is my favorite meal.

Someone told me I had pretty eyes once and then they asked me if I had contacts. So I guess that means I have fake looking eyes. xD

I’m listening to Against Me! right now in order to wake up. Let’s face it, I think getting up at 11:00 A.M. is early and even then I hate everything that moves and is light for about thirty minutes. Now think about that as I tell you that I had to wake up and 5:30 A.M. today.

Yeah.
For those who know me IRL you get the most vivid picture. x3

We’re going to California so that means a six hour flight, and we have two connections because those where the cheapest tickets.
It’s going to be a LONG day.

I probably won’t have any computer access for the first week or so, so don’t expect to hear from me soon.
But when I do have a computer I’ll tell you all about the family reunion.
I’m sure I’ll get at least one crazy story. My family is really big; to some degree every one of us is crazy. (Some more then others… I fall towards the deeper end of the crazy pool.)

I won’t get to see my brother though; he’s going to Texas for Ozzfest.

I’d like to say that I would pick seeing my family over a music festival… but if given the chance I would ditch them for Warped Tour. I know where he’s coming from. xD

ANYWAY,
I got The Ting Tings debut album We Started Nothing last week. I think it was last week anyway, on summer vacation everything kind of runs together. It’s a great record though, not one song out of the lot I don’t like.
My dad just came in a teased me about my lack of memory. BUT AT LEAST I CAN REMEMBER WHAT I WORE YESTERDAY.
Does it strike any one odd that I can’t go a journal with out abusing my Cap Lock?

I had a sleep over with on Tuesday/Wednesday. It was great; we beat our record of staying up the latest. Poor hadn’t slept in over twenty-six hours. We also rode around the neighborhood in my friend Zack’s golf cart with my other friend Tori. Again, poor hardly knew any of them. xD I think she still had fun though. At least I hope so.

Tori, Zack, and I had Popsicle Wednesday (A new summer tradition started by Tori.) this week, I made twenty bucks by selling my MH:F2 game to Zack. I can’t play it anymore so whatever right? Plus, I need the caaaaaaash. –is poor- Popsicle Wednesday was cut short after Zack got in trouble.

The girl came to art class this week, she was cool. I finished the bronze trash can in my still life. I think I’m going to do the cane next week.
That sounds kind of weird.

Yesterday though, I caught up on about a month's worth of No.1 Countdowns (The good ones, you know the ones of fuse? Not that crap they play on VH1 or MTV, fuse has music a care about. Gogol Bordello was on Steven’s Untitled Rock Show! How cool is that?), The Office, I Love the 70’s/80’s/90’s/New Millennium. (I just don’t like the music on VH1, I have nothing against the I Love the… shows, they are great.), Colbert Reports, and Daily Shows.
That was the most T.V. I’ve seen at the same time in like, a year, I spent the whole day in front of the T.V. 8D
Though lemme tell you, VH1 Classic like, owns your SOUL.
So does fuse.
Yeah.

AND I HAVE A BOOK TO READ.

Things blew up.

A lot.

Yeah.

Today was the first day of my art classes, my mother was determined to get me out of the house this summer and I was determined not to do a sport. Plus, I love art so it’s all good.
The class is really small, only three kids, and is taught by my elementary school art teacher, which is cool because I really liked him and he’s great. The first thing he said when he looked at my art though was:
“You have an anime influence.”
I said, “Yeeeeeah, I want to kind of get out of that. I really want to work on realism.”
So we agreed that’s what we would work on this summer. I am exited! The other girl in my class didn't come today so it was just me and the boy, Tomas was his name. He maybe said like two sentences to me the whole time. I was lonely so I mostly talked with Mr. Suttle.
Since I’ll be constantly working on things this summer THERE WILL BE UPDATES, INORITE?

In other useless news:
-I watched that new show, The Middle Man, today. It was actually pretty funny. Not as dumb as I thought it would be, so I think I’ll keep tuning in.

So we have this new thing call lexile levels for reading or something like that. It’s basically like our reading level. We can only read books in our lexile range and this is absolutely horrid. Do you know why? BECAUSE MY LEXILE RANGE IS TOO HIGH! All the books that interest me are /below/ me! That’s right folks, I AM TOO SMART!
I mean, have you ever been forced to read something you don’t want to? It’s like being stabbed with the English language with every word. I remember once is the third grade my mom made me read a Nancy Drew book AND THOSE HOURS WHERE SOME OF THE WORST IN MY LIFE! It should be some kind of torture…
I have beat Dune, even The Lord of The Rings! That’s right my friends J. R. R. Tolkien is /beneath/ me. And there are four of five books that interest me that I can read… and seeing as I spend most of my time reading they are not going to last me long.
The only other books are biographies of authors. Do know why I can only read their biographies? Because I’m to dang advanced to read the actual books!
And my mom was totally unsympathetic. She was all, “I’m glad you teacher is challenging you.” Mom, I read the first few pages of Gulliver’s Travels there is nothing challenging about it! And then she started to yell at me for being a pessimist and told me to look at the glass half full. WELL SORRY MOM BUT THE GLASS IS EMPTY!
And I know lots of people have worse problems then this but I have devoted a very large portion of my virtually non-existent life to literature. The prospect of me not being able to enjoy it is well… ABSOLUTELY AWFUL!
But Gulliver’s Travels sounds good… it’s political satire from the 1800’s. And I love political satire so this is good. But what happens when I’m done with this book? I have to… to… read NONFICTION! And I like some Nonfiction but this is well, the bad kind. It’s killing me, it really is…

And now, you get to hear me rail on my art! I’m just… so unhappy with it, it’s to stylized. I want it to be more realistic. And as ever, I WISH I COULD DRAW THE HUMAN BODY PERPORTIONED AND ALL! And man… hands and feet… they kill me. Just kill me. It’s murder realy, very cruel. I think I have to high of a expectation for myself. I mean, I’m in middle school its okay not to be perfect… De Vinci wasn’t perfect when he was my age! Right? RIGHT!? Man, but I can’t help but be very unhappy with it. You guys haven’t seen any recent stuff; I would say I’m getting better. But I’m not where I want to be, it’s very frustrating.

Summerland by Michael Chabon is a very good book; I recommend you go check it out now! It is about baseball… but not realy… it’s just… great. Very well written.

Then after, we went to Boarders! Which is always a treat for me because I’m such a huge bookworm, though I never get novels, always manga. Novels are what the school library if for! I got the Ouran High School Host club vol. 1. It’s funny; I’ve been in love with the anime forever but only now decided to get the manga! (Usually I prefer manga over anime.) And vol. 2 and 3. of Tsubasa! So now I’m all even with xxxHOLiC. (I got an omnibus edition of it with the first 3 volumes in it for only $14! Such a great deal. Lol, I’m so tight with how I spend my money.)

So, yeah, all-in-all a fun day! Hope all of yours was fun to!

I mean, come on, sure I can read at a collage level. But do MATH At a collage level!? Are you kidding me? If I skip one chapter ahead in my math book I’m lost. Lost like stuck-in the-middle-of-the-Pacific-Ocean-after-your-plane-crashed-and-your-floating-on-a-piece- of-fuselage-and-every-one-thinks-your-dead-and-there-is-almost-no-hope kinda lost. It’s shameful realy.

And yes, seeing as people don’t believe me when I tell them this I do have an uncle named Bob. People, incase you didn’t know, Bob is a real name. Not just something you say randomly to get a laugh. People don’t seem to get that.

I hate Halloween. Hate it. Only because I’m stuck here to die. And rot. DIE AND ROT I TELL YOU! Ugh…

On the up side, I can be a zombie.

OK SO, we get there and we are standing in line. And there is this guy covered in fake blood and just looking generally creepy. So he comes up to me, Ashley, and Mr. Ken (Ashley’s dad.). So he gets in my face and I go, “So, how are you today?” Like I had just talked to him at the corner market the other day. He goes. “I’m kinda having a bad day.” The conversation goes as fallows:
Me: “I can see that. You might want to see a doctor for that.”
Creepy guy: *sticks his fake-blood covered head in my face*
Me: “ Please… don’t do that. I have a weak stomach.”
Creepy guy: “I used to have a weak stomach, I ate it with peppers it was tasty.”
As Creepy guy is leavening Ashley calls after him, “Enjoy what’s left of you!”

Then we where waiting in this hallway as we are explained the rules. Out of the corner of my eye I see this zombie girl enter. She’s standing right next to Ashley but she doesn’t notice. I whimper and bury my head in her shoulder. She asks me what wrong and a point. She jumps and the zombie girl goes. “Hi! Have you come to play!?” Ashley nods and turns around. The zombie girl proceeds to remove the arm of her demonic looking doll and poke Ashley in the cheek with it. After the rules are done and we walk in zombie girl calls after us, “Watch out for my friends, they live in the walls! They don’t like visitors!”

So we are farther in the house and we start to hear this thwack. We are in groups of seven and there are two black girls with us and a couple. One of the black girls is holding on to my hood. As the thwacking get louder I say, “It’s just a woodpecker.” The girl holding my hood says, “I like woodpeckers.” Ashley goes, “I don’t think it’s a wood pecker.”

So we are farther in and this guy pops out at Ashley and is staring at her. Ashley says, “I don’t like you go away.” The guy goes, “But I like you.” And fallows us. Now, I’m behind Ashley, clutching her jacket because I’m scared out of my wits and keep bumping in to the guy. He keeps turning around and giving me all these creepy looks. Then we enter a room full of spiders. For those of you who don’t know I am petrified of spiders. So I keep repeating “Why did it have to be spiders!?” And they guy goes, “Why!? Afraid of spiders?” Which was dumb because if I’m moaning over and over “Why did it have to spiders!?” Common sense tells you I’m scared.

So we get even farther in and it’s like black. And Mr. Ken who is leading can’t see in pitch blackness to save his life. I have excellent night vision so I can see. So he keeps running us into walls and getting us lost. And this clown keeps flashing a flash light on and off so I yell, “CAN WE BORROW YOUR FLASHLIGHT!?”

Then we get out and there is this chainsaw guy that chases you through the parking lot. And my ankle is badly twisted so I can barley walk, let alone run. So he revs up his chainsaw and here I am hopping madly through this parking lot on one leg. Ashley and Mr. Ken are already at the car. And I’m just hopping along like I’m on an invisible pogo stick! Still can’t believe he chased us. Terrorizing the injured!

So yeah, I got home and I could barley talk because I was shirking, screaming, and yelling. That was my first real haunted house experience. So don’t laugh at me. Of course, there was more. But those are the high lights!

Ha ha… I’m rambling. And I got Children of Mana this weekend. This game is godly. I want people to multiplayer with so if you have the game and got Wifi. Drop me a note and we can dungeon crawl together.

I’m sick and tired. AND THROWING UP ALL OVER THE FLOOR! Sigh… I hate being sick…

And I haven’t had anything to eat or drink since LAST NIGHT! So I don’t know what the world I’m throwing up now. But it’s slimy, yellow, and chunky.

Yeah, I know you didn’t want to hear that. But I don’t care.

I’m going to the bathroom now. Buh-bye!

“I’m going to make my own dictionary! It’s going to be called the Hannictioary and it’s going to have words in it!”

Friend: “I love Hiro.”
“Hiro!? But he’s only in middle school!”
“Hannah, we are in middle school.”
“Oh… right.”

Friend: “Oh yeah!? Well I can play foot ball on water!”
“I can do the Moonwalk on water.”
“Dang it Hannah! You can’t beat the Moonwalk!”
(Me and a friend comparing our “ninja walk on water skills.”

“You are NOT a hedgehog! You are human!”
Friend: “I’M A HEDGEHOG!”
“I will get your DNA analyzed to prove to you that you are in fact, a human! Do you see that you do not have quills?”
“I would if I spiked my hair up.”
(Me reprimanding my friend who is in permanent denial that she is a hedgehog.)

“So, eat any babies lately?”
