Well, lessee.. it was my birthday on the 29th August (I accept cash, cheque or PayPal).
Grandad died a few Sundays ago, and his funeral was a few days later on Thursday. I was prepared though, since Dad told me that he probably wouldn't make it to morning, so it wasn't much of a surprise when there was a phone call at around 2:00 am from Mum and he was muttering about post mortems, but it was still a shock. RIP, Grandad.

And now I'm back. And I have over 2,000 pageviews! Phwoar!

Anyway, I've been here almost a week now and I've been bitten, sunburned, injured and I'll miss the release of the Simpsons Movie, Deathly Hallows and Pokémon Diamond and Pearl. Fantastic!

*I'm currently addicted to Okami for the PS2. If you don't know what it is, or want some info on it, there's plenty of stuff here.

*Normally my hair is messy. REALLY messy. But a while ago, it had fashioned itself into a sort of bowl-cut, but it's back to normal now. IT HAS A LIFE OF ITS OWN!

*I got a 68 on my math test. I got 80 last time, so... meh. Better luck next time. I expected Dad to tear my head off, but he just told me calmly that I did my best, and that he didn't expect me to do any better than that. He must have been drunk.

*My French teacher hasn't given us back the results of our test yet. And apparently we're getting another spoken test next week.

... Well, the rest of the class will be doing it, but I won't... which brings me to the second half of this journal...

I'm going to band camp on Tuesday until Friday!

There are two separate places for people who are going: strings are going someplace with huts and brass (me!), woodwind and percussion are staying in dormitories. I'd've preferred a hut, thank you very much.

There are three buses: Bus 1 is taking strings, Bus 2 (me again!) are going to both, and Bus 3 is going to brass, percussion and woodwind. Well, I'm glad I'm on the same bus as my friend Lindsay (note the spelling )! At least I'll have someone to talk to on the way there; I didn't recognize any other names on the entire ROSTER. OF ALL THREE BUSES.

And I don't have to do my French or ICT homework because of it!

... But I still can't get around my English or Math homework...

But at least my load got halved!

And I got "The Simpsons" Season 9 a while ago. Too bad the good stuff ended with Season 8.

Oh well, the hilarious audio commentaries make up for that.

I got the results of my science results back today. 63%. Dad is now pinning my head up on the wall. -_-;

For those of you who care, chapter 3 of my Tekken fanfic will be uploaded on Wednesday.

Got Tekken: Dark Resurrection for the PSP on Friday from Mum as a holiday present (she went to Cyprus for 10 days on Friday, and since she wouldn't know what to get me, she just got me DR.)

Pros:

Great game. Better than Tekken 5, even. Tekken Dojo and Gold Rush were great additions, it was nice to see Tekken Bowl make a return, Jinpachi is easier to beat, more moves, more interactive and interesting stages, Mokujin and Eddy can actually be customized, more customization stuff per character, 3 new (2 brand-new and one a returnee) characters,all characters already unlocked (Yay! No more going through Story Battle endless times to get all the characters! ) and wireless Ad-hoc.

Cons:

Default colours are the wrong colours, for no reason. :blank: Tekken Dojo gets too frickin' hard, no ends to Arcade and Survival, Jinpachi's character design was drastically changed, even though it remains the original in cut-scenes and even the opening movie, Armor King is in here, even though he's... well, dead. :/, some other random little things.

Overall: Excellent game, not perfect.

9.3/10 Superb

EDIT: Sorry, all the people that read my fanfic (read: Kagira ), but I got a crapton of fraction homework, and chapter 4 has been pushed back to Sunday. It'll be a good'n, though!
