Daaaammmmnnnnnn.

talk about deep. Higurashi seems to be able to cram so many genres into one series without looking silly.

I would recommend this anime to anyone who likes deep plots and mysteries, since the story has a way of taking a twist towards the end that really makes you go "Oh, so THAT'S how it happened"

I just finished watching the series, but I won't post any spoilers, since the fun comes from unraveling the mystery yourself.

Be prepared though. for much of the first season, you might be confused and even wonder what the hell is going on. be assured that by the start of the second season, all will be revealed, and the final pieces of the puzzle will be put in place.

Make sure you have a strong stomach though, since some scenes can be very very very VERY disturbing.

P.S. To Jade: Why should I save the world I no longer have a stake in.

A pair of girls approached one of the actors for the film, all covered in bloody cuts. "we did this for you" was their statement. the bewildered actor just continued on.

2. Someone who was continuously screaming during one screening passed out from exertion.

3. A friend of mines was dragged to the theater by his girlfriend. she needed to pee during this one scene where edward was on screen. she peed in her popcorn tumbler instead.

4. Some people report being insulted just because they said they "didn't find twilight to be to their liking"

5. Someone during a screening nearly suffered a stroke from being overexcited.

Now let me tell all you fans something. the best service you can do to that which you like is to take things a bit at a time. calm the f*ck down. by acting like this you advertise poorly for that which you like, and pretty soon all those people you pissed off will soon find the numerous flaws in the franchise, and shove it down your throats.

People committing physical harm to themselves or others over some silly fiction just goes to show how stupid our generation is.

>As we've all come to notice, in the past few decades,
>Filipinos have begun to infest the United States like some sort of
proof of
>the
>trashy kind of qualities all Filipinos tend to exhibit on a regular
basis.
>You
>can see this clearly by studying the attitudes and cultural Icons of
>
>Are they really Asian? Well we've come to accept the fact
>the Filipinos come from a part of the world known as South
> East Asia. But the term ' Asia '
>is used in the wrong way. You may notice that contemporary Filipino
>Americans
>try very hard to associate themselves with groups that we know as
Asian. I
>cannot count the number of times I have seen a ' Third
> World ' Filipino try to connect themselves to the Chinese or
>Japanese people. There is no connection and here's why. The
Philippines is
>a Third
> World country. Nothing respectable has EVER been created by
>Filipino people during our entire human history. Young Filipino men
in
>America have
perverted
>
dedication means to attempt a risky procedure to remove the flash from your rather expensive and valuable Akatsuki gundam model, only to cut yourself close to the bone, yet blithely ignore it to continue working on the model, but stopping 5 minutes later to realize "oh shit, what if my blood gets on the model and tarnishes it".
