And I go to the 5 & 10 to get poster boards, because I just finished my charcoal bedroom poster I was working on, and I wanted to start another. The 5 & 10 was closed. I'm assuming it's starting to go out of business because it's never really opened anymore.

Since it was locked, I walked to the 'Joy Joy Variety' store. Now, generally, everyone in my little town is boycotting that store, because it's a load of shit and it's overpriced. And we'd all like our Dollar Store back. So I found the poster board. It clearly said: POSTER BOARDS: 2 FOR 1 DOLLAR. In a big ol' sign. I had six bucks with me. So I was like. OHAWESOME (I didn't think anything of it because posterboard IS cheap, btw). So I grab two, since it'd only be two bucks. Bring it up to the register.

The cashier was a fat asian lady. She BARELY spoke english (I have trouble figuring out what accented people are saying). The boards came out to $6.42. I had my money in my hand. She took it. So immediantly I'm like. 'Hold on a second.' This is what the conversation was like:

Danni: Over there it says poster boards are 2 for 1 buck
Cashier: nonono. they are ... (cant understand this part)
Danni: Alright. Whatever. Can you just subtract one. I'll only get three, I only got 6 bucks.
Cashier: Noo. I cant i already messed up the other register.
Danni: What? Just take one off.
Cashier: No. I cant.
Danni: Kay.. uhm. I'll just be back.

...Left without my money and boards. Oops, forgot.
I explained to my mom & sister. My sister comes back with me. I show her the sign where it says TWO FOR ONE. She by then, we were both like, let's just get the money back. And technically, the cash & everything wasn't put through, because I didn't have all the money. So it was like this:

Miranda: Can we just get the money back?
Cashier: No. It says no refunds up there.
Danni: But I didn't pay for them. And I told you to take one off earlier, but you said you couldn't.
Cashier: No. you said ...*shoves words down my throat. Words I cant understand*

So we tell her to show us the sign. It was TINY. I didn't even notice it. It said 'osterboards' (just like the other one, see the confusion even if I say the sign? There were big poster boards, and then the little ones. But I didn't see the LITTLE itty bitty sign. And I figured it was 2 for 1 for the big ones because on the plastic on the little ones it said: $2.35) $1.50 each.

Miranda: So.. since there was a price confusion, can't you do anything about it?

She tells us to take the four boards and leave... For the six bucks that I wanted back.
