And he is shamelessly drunk and my dearest friend Katherine decides it would be a good idea to trip over his foot and spill beer on him. Unknown to me, he has already split on her later that evening. I look at him after finding out this and say "It must be fate."
Why i said anything, I shall never know because he starts chatting me up. He tells me that he's full Italian (better then Kat cause she's half, he says) and asks me what I am. So I say "Not Italian."
He turns me slightly and points to the door and says "There's the exit."
I turn back to him stunned and say, "Bitch, I own this bar, I'm Irish!"
Because we were in an Irish Bar.
So he continues to chat me up when he notices ~DEADRISEN-RELAPSE giving him the evil eye, looks at me and asks "Is that your friend?" I look up to see him, smile, then say "That's my boyfriend."
He looks horrified and says "OMFG he's twice my size!"
I laugh and start to put on my coat (it is nearing one now) and he looks at me and says "Hey so, if this thing doesn't work out, come to me for some Italian Sausage" but according to him, he meant cooking (yeah right).
So I shake his hand politely and say "It was nice to meet you." Cause, hell.
and as I walk away I hear him say, "Remember! Italian Sausage with meatballs!"

Yeah. It was a god night.

So, a couple weekends ago was fan expo 09 and unfortunately we didn't fully finish our costumes (folkens belt feel apart right as we got there!!) and sora didn't have curled pieces of hair or her bracelets.. (but our partners in crime looked FANTASTIC). and ergo didn't get finished and re-l was about 78% done.. it's hard to finish costumes when pieces are terribly hard to find and when you don't have anymore money for. other then that, we all had a fantastic time, it was great

i'm back in school now, and this first term is going to be a challenge. I have 20th century British lit bright and early at 830.. joy, who doesn't love a bit of dickens in the morning

but i'm super excited about my classics classes

one of them is called the ancient world in film (i'm actually waiting to go to it right now..) and you basically study the ancient greek/rome plays then you study them... on the big screen! how sick??
but, yeah, so i'll get some new stuff up i promise

i've been having a terrible creatibe block and everything keeps coming out wonked.

I went and i saw 9 and it was really good, aside from the fact that the ending was PAINFULLY openended!! and it definitely wasn't what the commercials were like at all. but i definitly recommend it, even if your not a burton fan. i wasn't blown away, but it was really good

I also went to go see District Nine.
HOLY SHIT amazing!!!
if you have any soul at all you will go see it

I don't understand the appeal.. Maybe, coming from a vocalist's perspective, but whats with the voice? Welcome Home is a terribly terrific song, i've been in love with it since i saw the trailer for '9', but Claudio's voice is ... less then so?
I think Tuomas Holopainen from Nightwish should really consider redoing the song, Marco would be perfect vocalist. It's such a good song, but it needs a heavy singer!!!

There's a part of me who has always been carefree, so much in fact that she seems to have snatched my body at some points, casting me much anguish.
But unfortunately i have not see that part of me in a while. life, as it seems has not be carefree to me. this summer has been filled with tears, pain and suffering for me. but as they say, life goes on.
shit's hitting the fan pretty hard here, something everyone dreads is now becoming a very real reality, and now i am faced with a decision that is going to take my life in a completely different direction, no matter which way I look.
though this has been happening for... years now, i still stand at that crossroad that had not only two, but three possible leads into the rest of my life. the future as it now appears is completely out of reach. my foot strays down the path to the very left, the one hidden from the rest, the one that would most probably take me to true happiness.
but I've yet to mention this, and as i hesitate, i feel pulled two ways down the paths chosen for me.
life, as it is, goes on beside me. we are already into august and i have to make a choice.
though no words come to mind.
i stand, blankly at the two paths chosen, but listening to the sirens call of the third.

Give me strength..
and life goes on

I've always had a weird fascination with vampires. . .
In my younger years, I would go to my local library, and rent this one anthology over and over and over again until I could practically recite to you. . . shame i can't remember the title of it.
Recently, I've started watching films. Though the watching aspect was probably influence by animes and such.. I think my first (that I can remember)vamp movie was The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, where the one female character is a vampire. From there is slowly started to spread. I remember in grade 8 (i was 13ish) Underworld came out into theaters and me and a bunch of old friends were going to go see it.
I didn't end up seeing it until two years ago.
To date, I've only seen a few, but read countless books, reviews and fanfics.
I've decided to spread my surroundings, or whatever the young ones say. Recently I purchased Nosferatu, I figure, why not start from the bottom and work my way up?
So i went on Wiki and looked up the list. its a good few pages long, varying from either just dracula to vamps in general to TV shows, feature it (even including soap operas

and random appearances of the vampire in varies series)
If anyone has seen the list you'll know its long ... i was just wondering, from anyones knowledge, whats the best and worst? some if I'm just wasting my time or ones i shouldn't skip at all? or maybe ones that aren't even on the list?

it has that 2009 adwrespyware thing on it, its some trojan virus that attached itself to my computers startup menu. i tried to get rid of it but somehow, i just kept getting more virus'. thats why you get a mac i guess

so i started uni. my first class was German.. i think im gonna like it a lot!! my first class for Japanese is on tuesday, and i hope i feel the same. ive bought about 1/3 of my books and its already costed me 163$. not bad, but its only 1/3.

i would tell you its different not seeing everyone from my highschool... cept id be lying. im seeing EVERYONE. its weird. everyone but my best friends sarah :dev~celticzarrah: and katherine.

they both are going to schools out of town.

My tastes have changed and who i know and want to know have dawned on me. I've never liked change, i doubt anyone really likes dramatic change and i havent noticed change for until i look back and say "damn i wish things had turned out differently".
Opurtunities have come and gone, some i wish i had taken up... others i wish i had never noticed.
Theres been people ive come to know who i wish i had never come to know. . . but if i hadnt, i guess my life wouldnt be where it is right now. then there is people i wish i DID get to know, who i may never see now.
But to those of you who toook the time to read this, i wish you all the best in everything you do. i wish all the love and greatness to everyone.

This coming september I'll probably be moving out with my boyfriend. and if i throw a party, youre all invited!!

I also heard back from the art program I applied too, as you all could probably tell in my last journal, I didn't get accepted.

but it's okay im still accepted to the englishes, so ill be taking everythig from creative writing to the studying of long novels to Japenese and German, which i am SO excited for.

I don't like Highschool... hopefully once im done, Uni will be ten times better!

Today I dropped my philosophy course after a lot of tears, screaming and anger. so today i went to the librayer to finish up some homework on my new spare as a count of the snow we couldnt really go anywhere. but becuase i have to brave the weather twice now, i was feeling realy hott and sickly. i asked ~celticzarrah to come outside with me to walk around so i could get some fresh air. this was just before 1 this afternoon.
after walking around of a bit in ankle deep snow we saw a friend of ours outside becuase he didn't go to school today. i asked how close his house was to where we were and it was about 2 minutes away so we went there so i could sit down in a non stressful environment and geta drink and try to get unsick as it were. his power had gone out.
at around 1.20 my sister called my cellphone and she sounded kind of panicy. she asked where i was and i told her i was wlaking around the school outside and asked what was wrong. she told me that she was walking to a friends house. i puased, and asked her why she was skipping 5th. she told me she wasnt. i asked her, then, why was it she was leaving before 5th.
the power was out at school .
this has never ever happened before to me. i ran back to school before they could lock it up to get my stuff and see if i could find my sister. i was talking to her on the phone as i ran and she told me she had already left.
the school was pitch black. so weird.

so. .. i finally manged to get home, it is now almost three.
my power, thankfully isnt out. but my msn isn't working.
there was word going round that a hydro plant "exploded" becuase the schools back up generators werent kicking in. Well have to see.
It just go to show that Canada is full of surprises.. and I've lived here all my life
