I can't draw for beans, and my poetry is few and far between. I might dig up some of my old stuff and see what becomes of that. But I am also thinking I might start posting some fan fiction, or at least fan fiction excerpts and see if that goes anywhere. I like to know that my stories might have actual potential, instead of posting up weird crap.

Otherwise, I am enjoying my new job quite a bit! I am waiting anxiously for my discount. You're given a %30 discount on all merchandise in the store, except for the things that are already on sale, after four weeks of work. It's been four weeks on Monday, and when I tried yesterday, I didn't have it yet. ::whine:: I WANT MY BLOODY DISCOUNT!

But y'know, what I also enjoy is the fact that if you don't want to buy a book, you can borrow it from the store as well, which I was allowed to do at least. I finished 'Cathy's Book' in a matter of hours. It was enjoyable, and I will likely make my way through the rest of the series soon enough.

Also, what's up with all these published authors who claim to write erotica and don't even know what it is? Or even write well enough to actually do the damn word justice? Sorry to burst your bubble, but describing someone's anus as 'sugar candy asshole' seems a little ridiculous. And folks wonder why I burst out laughing when reading stuff like this.

Stole this from Some of you may have known these, some not. Anyway. Also, I'm not going to tag specific people, whoever wants to fill this out, feel free to do so! I like learning new things about people.


1) My first anime cosplay was an ANBU from Naruto, that I did for Hallowe'en of 2006. It was very newbie-like, and I feel embarrassed whenever I see pictures of it, and they will never be published. EVER. Haha.

2) Despite being perfectly capable of doing everything else artistic and creative (writing, scrap booking, can sew a few simple things, will master any arts and crafts set I am given, fold origami, take half-decent pictures), I. Can't. Draw. At all. And I have tried, I'm just really not good, although I am willing to bet with a lot of work and some lessons I could.

3) The first dog I ever owned was Max. We had him when I was five, and we only had him for about a month or two. I don't remember him very well, except that he had black fur.

4) Although I love all sorts of music, not only am I huge fan of heavy metal, but I also ADORE techno and raver music!

5) I have a pet turtle who is 12 years old. Her name is Nat and she's about the size of an egg pan.

6) I like my men to be hairy and beastly, and I think it is absolutely fucking ridiculous when guys wax their chests. It makes me laugh and laugh. (No offense to chest-waxers, but it really does, ahaha..)

7) I really don't like summer as much as everybody else does. I find it much too warm for my personal comfort, so I tend to stay inside a lot during the summer. I am more of an autumn person.

8) When I was 11 years old, I wanted to run away from home because there were two boys who used to tease me a lot. D: Then I decided against it.

Last night, Matthew and I got into a minor car accident. He hadn't noticed quickly enough that the van in front of him had stopped, so he slammed on the brakes, managed to veer off to one side, so his driver's side brake light got smashed in while the other person's passenger side bumper got a -dent-.

Yes, we're both fine. Physically. Financially is another matter. This is the last fucking thing we needed. He is only insured one way, so we have to scrape up the money to either repair the car (which is going to cost minimum three grand) or buy a used one we saw for about $800.

And you know, maybe this would have been fine if it hadn't come at such a time when we DON'T have any money. We both have credit cards to pay, and it's not a light amount, considering we just bought this computer for $2500.

"You should be grateful, you're okay, you survived!" Yeah, I fucking survived with nothing but a bit of bruising from where the seat belt dug into me. Matthew was a lot more shaken up, and I suppose I understand because he was the one actually behind the wheel and essentially had my life in his hands. But it's really fucking hard to appreciate this because of this shadow of the beginning of financial debt looming over us.

I always told myself when I was young, "I will never let myself get into money troubles." Yeah. I'm off to a really promising fucking start aren't I.

I'm not sure what to do. Matthew needs a car to get to work. His job is just off the highway so I don't even know if there are any buses that go there. I guess the only thing I can do is hope like fuck I get this damn job I'm getting interviewed for today. I swear I'm going to cut somebody's throat open if none of the places I applied to accept me.

EDIT: After speaking to a couple of friends this morning, finding ten bucks hidden away in the depths of my purse, and getting another call back (second one in four days!) I am feeling much better.

I ring the bell to enter, and the woman who greets me at the door is wearing heels, and a red kimono that goes up about mid-thigh. Hurr.

-Regardless-, I told her I had finished school and was now looking for a job in my domain and was wondering if they had a spot open for a massage therapist. She gets her manager, who brings me inside and leads me into one of the massage rooms, which looks quite nice... good table, lovely, relaxing decorations, and even what appears to be a little shower. Mind you, the manager is also wearing a summer dress. Hurr.

Anyway, she and I start chatting a little bit. At one point, she says that they don't usually hire people right out of school, but you know, maybe I could start off as a receptionist! She also starts explaining to me that, you know, massage isn't just necessarily massage, and it can be something more, but she can't really tell me the situation. Hurrrrrr....

At this point, I am seriously trying hard not to laugh, because I know what is inevitably coming up. After staring at her a little longer with my ever so piercing gaze, she finally admits to me, "The thing is, while some people are looking for only professional massage, there are some people who are also looking for a little extra. That is our situation." Lawl.

Yeah, I kinda figured judging by mid-thigh red kimono. Nameless to say... even though she kept my resume, (I thought it would be rude to grab it out of her hands), I somehow doubt she is going to call me considering I actually have credentials. Matthew and I had a good laugh about it afterward. Hahaha...

I'm definitely not working there. That will teach me to go into strange places.

So, I managed to get a decent amount of pictures, and a few good ones of my main cosplay, Raver Gaara. Might be tempted to make a new I.D. but we shall see. Saturday I was dressed up as normal Gaara, but without the short hair. I simply put my hair into a low ponytail. Sunday I meant to go an a cat girl but it started raining and I thought it would be cold so I got out my Akatsuki coat and threw together a last minute, very half-assed Itachi, which I will NOT be posting up here because it's too embarrassing. xD

A few cool people to be mentioned: Pedo-bear, Dark Link, Windwaker Link walking around with a giant bomb, Space pirate from Warhammer (I think).. ALL OF WHOM I MISSED BECAUSE I FORGOT MY CAMERA ON SATURDAY!!!!!! But oh well. Also, a parade of people dancing to Carameldansen going by, and Team Rocket stealing some random girl's pikachu back pack, causing her to chase them around the cafeteria.

Convention loots: A Cloud collectible figure, Crisis Core style, a present for my boyfriend. Fluffy pink cat ears and tail. A chibi Gaara laminated bookmark. A pin-up of chibis from the cast of Twilight which I got as a present for my friend Jennifer (HOPING SHE IS NOT READING THIS BEFORE HER BIRTHDAY!!!)

And of course, a lot of good memories, and a couple of new friends! Hurray!

Otherwise, I think I would really like to start writing again, and RPing. But I do prefer IM RPing, which could pose a problem.. I think I should start considering forums.

I've finally settled on my cosplay as well. Since I won't be able to do a proper Gaara because I never got around to ordering my wig, I'll be doing Sexy no Jutsu Gaara, but raver style. <3 I spent a couple of hours last night fiddling with my arm and leg warmers, adding colourful buttons, making bracelets, planning out my outfit and how I am going to style my hair.

All I need now is some hair dye and a red face paint crayon. Yee-haw!

I have ONE week left, which consists of another day of stages (But since I already got evaluated today and passed, Tuesday will be free-flying, woohoo!!), pointing in which I am told a muscle and I have to point the origin and insertion VERY SPECIFICALLY, then an oral exam and finally the massage on teacher evaluation!

GAWD! I can't believe I crammed 400 hours into four months, that was craaaaazy!

Also, the following conversation took place between Josh and I yesterday afternoon:

ME: Dude, I seriously need to unwind, do you feel like receiving another massage? (I had given him one the day before as well to practice.

Long story short, because of a bomb scare, certain parts of the metro were shut down, which left thousands of people temporarily without access to the metro from 5:15 to 9:00 in the evening.

Sounds simple enough. Now, what did this turn into?

COMPLETE AND UTTER FUCKING CHAOS DOWNTOWN.

- The STM did not actually inform people properly about what was open and what was not. Rumour was going around that the ENTIRE metro was shut down when certain parts were still open. This could have been encouraged by people who distort info, because that does happen, inevitably

- The STM workers were not extremely helpful in trying to help people get to where they needed to go. According to what I have heard, STM messages were communicated in French. Now, I know we live in a French province, but there are many, many, MANY English-speaking people in Montreal and tourists as well. A lot of folks just had no idea what was going on, only that the metro was apparently down. The only thing we were getting for a long time from the STM workers was, "I don't know what's going on, the metro is down. It's all down. I don't know what's happening." Serious fucking lack of communication.

- As I said, earlier, certain parts of the metro were still open, but this was not communicated. People only found out essentially because they went down to check what was going on and low and behold the trains were running in the direction they had to go!

- Special buses were set out to try and help with the traffic flow. All of these, and regular buses were completely packed, lines for the buses stretching out for blocks. There were no empty cabs. People were even carpooling with strangers to get home. Others chose to walk.

- Tourists and others who were lost had a hard time getting to where they needed to go, because not only were STM workers being shitheads, but everyone was so frustrated and desperate to get home that they ignored others. Understandable, but still sucks. I tried to help someone getting to Westmount but I honestly had no idea how to get there via buses. They opted to try and catch a cab.

- I myself had to walk an hour to get to where I needed to go from Beaubien to Champ-de-Mars on the orange line ( [link] ). That was six stops. Neill had to walk ten stops from Beaubien to Guy-Concordia on the green line. Stevie thought she was stranded because she lived off the island, but luckily, the metro was running in the direction she needed to go. Which she only found out after wards.

- Matthew was coming to meet us downtown, and the roads were so blocked that it took him half an hour to move less than half a kilometer. He ended up finding a parking space on the street and walking the rest of the way. Chris ended up not even showing up, so I have no idea what happened to him.


Okay so... in the end, I really think that some of this chaos could have been prevented if the public could have been a bit better informed. If people would have known they could have taken a bus, or a cab, or walked to an area of the metro that worked, it would have diminished some of the panic.

Might I also mention that the metro was shut down for THREE AND A HALF HOURS because of a bomb scare. I understand that it's a serious threat, but three and a half hours seems just a little excessive. I suppose they wanted to be thorough...

~I have in fact been to three different high schools. The first one I was in for one year, before moving. I spent three years in the second, then chose to attend an alternative school which had a sped-up, intensive program for my final year.

~All-time favourite now is Kushiel's Legacy by Jaqueline Carey. Read it. Get addicted.

3) Who was the first WoW character I ever made (once I got my own account)?
~Karyanna, my undead warlock, was the first WoW toon I ever made upon getting my own account. However, Amatril was the first toon I ever created on a friend's account to try out the game.

~ Final Fantasy 6 remains my all-time favourite, and will forever have a special place in my heart. I grew up playing the game. ... and I only recently found out that one can Warp out of Kefka's Tower... sigh.

~Currently studying Swedish!

Anyway, Stevie had started off with writing something nice, something along the lines of, "I stared outside of the castle window, looking at a beautiful garden." I decided to be nice and NOT completely pervert the story (which was going to happen inevitably with our group...) and continued it with, "The sun was shining upon a bed of flowers, brought to life by nearly a lifetime of labour."

Josh was the one who ended up reading this story out loud, and mentioned he really liked the 'sun is shining' line so I told him dismissively that I was the one who had written it. He told me that it was a really nice line, and he liked it a lot.

For a few years now, I have been unable to write any good stories. It was as though my passion for writing got stamped over once I entered Cegep, and I haven't been able to regain it since. But just from this little compliment about this simple line that I got off the top of my head, I feel like giving story-writing another try. It made me realize how much I miss writing, and how my imagination has been absolutely dying to flow back onto the paper like it used to. So, I will try to come up with something fresh and new.

Also, that story ended up being a complete disaster in the end.

To make ourselves a little more comfortable with talking about sex amongst the class (since it is inevitably going to come up, and since we all know how shy ~I~ am), our teacher got us to do an exercise where we played The Alphabet Game, and for each letter we came up with a word that related to sexuality. We went through a variety of words, from kissing and cuddling, to doggy style and anal, to urine and impotence.

However, his electromechanique job won't be starting until June. So, he called his boss from the seasonal restaurant he was working at last year, and asked if he needed somebody to work for him for about a month or two, and now he was available full-time, anytime, since he's done school. Well, Jacques said yes!

The pay there is not half bad either, so he'll be able to make some good money until he starts his real work at Bridgestone Firestone. The only downside is that it's in Joliette (about an hour north), so he'd have to move there a.s.a.p. So.. after I'm done school, I'd probably go with him, once I can save up a bit of money. Although I do have a lot to think about... while I will be able to work an okay job with my 400 hour course, I can continue and take a 700 hour course to continue my studies. The problem with this, is that I don't want to take the course full-time because I would be overloaded! But the part-time course is somewhere around two years long because you only go in to school once a week. Argh. I suppose I could move to Joliette for a while. The two of us could save up our money for a while until he can find a job that would enable us to move back here, so I could continue my education and get even BETTER jobs. Because honestly, the thought of living at home for two more years is killing me.

Anyway. Advice, suggestions, anybody?

P.S. I'm thinking of getting a custom-made shit that says, "Edward Cullen is a douche bag."

The story starts when last Christmas, I was playing Trauma Center: New Blood on the Wii for an extensive period of time.. we are talking for several hours on end. I was leaning forwards in a rather bad position, but I didn't notice until I actually made to get up, and a pain in my lower back suddenly blossomed. It was so horrible that I cried out and fell straight down to the floor. My brother came running to see what happened, and I could barely move. He had to lift me back up onto the couch because any movement that required my back, I couldn't do.

It went away after several days. I've had a few major flareups since then, and minor ones that mainly cause a lot of discomfort, but no terrible pain. Either way, I was tired of my back causing me problems, so I finally went to get it checked out by a doctor a few weeks ago.

He got the results back for my radiology, and he concluded that I have spondylolithesis [link] . Essentially, I have a slipped vertebra. It's nothing too serious, since it is still in the early stages as far as I can see, and it's quite treatable. I am glad that the mystery of my back pain has been solved!

Honestly, I dunno what it is with my family and our faulty spines... my mother, brother, and now myself all have something that starts with 'spondy'. Buh.

I also found seven 'Best Final Fantasy Cosplay' videos all made by the same person. I watched all seven. The cosplay featured in all of the videos, roughly 20-25 minutes of pictures, was really amazing.

The problem? About ninety percent of these pictures were Final Fantasy 7, 8, and 10. And the majority of those were FF7.

FOR A SERIES THAT HAS THIRTEEN OFFICIAL TITLES AND OVER THIRTY, THAT'S RIGHT, THIRTY SPIN OFFS YOU'D THINK THERE WOULD BE A LITTLE MORE DIVERSITY!

Honestly, I hardly think that showing pictures of the same characters over and over captures the essence that was the Final Fantasy series. I am SICK AND TIRED of seeing these "Amazing FF cosplay!" things and without fail, I only end up seeing Cloud, Sephiroth, Yuna, Squall, and that thong-wearing bunny girl from FF12 who, by some unspoken law, must be photographed from behind.

Not that I have anything against those games in particular, I really did enjoy them. Nor do I have anything against people cosplaying as characters from those games, as I am interested in creating a Tifa cosplay at some point in my life. However, there are many people out there cosplaying as characters from the other games, and to appropriately name a video "Final Fantasy Cosplay", one should really do some research and actually find pictures that aren't of the same spiky blond wielding an obnoxiously wide sword (Phallus complex, anyone?).

I guess the solution to the problem would be just to make my own video. Then I could stop complaining. But whatever. There's no point to this rant other than me bitching about how there is more to Final Fantasy than friggin' numbers 7, 8 and 10.

P.S. I suppose the same would go for people who put up "Best Anime Cosplay" and post nothing but Naruto, Bleach, and Full Metal Alchemist. THERE ARE MORE THEN THREE ANIMES OUT THERE GODDAMMIT!

So, I was a ninja. And I was at the Konoha ninja school, except that it had boarding school options, so I was living in the dorms. I was special so I had TWO rooms, for whatever reason. One in the basement, and one on the top floor.

Anywho, I was going out for my daily training with Iruka-sensei, wearing my usual ninja outfit of a leather miniskirt and mid-driff top (very conveniant for fighting you know). I found out that Iruka had constructed an obstacle course for me which basically consisted of jumping and pole-vaulting over hurdles and piles of logs. But it turns out that he was going to race me as well.

So we took off, and at one point, he face-planted towards the very end. I assume it's because he looked back at me and got distracted by my skirt. But I digress. I pulled ahead, pole-vaulted over the last hurdle, and won! I was all sweaty from the race and standing over him all sexy-like, pointing at him and saying, "I beat you, Iruka-sensei!" He was taking it in good humour, hehe.

Then my top came off.

And Naruto and Sasuke and all the other 12-year-old ninja boys were staring at me. It was awkward. Very, very awkward. Hence I ran off to go shower and cover myself up.
