I'm not finding anything too hard just yet, though it is still early days and this was just the introductory week. I'm absolutely in love with the classes I have on Thursday and Friday which are photoimaging (photoshop), drawing in illustrator and typography and colour! I'm even enjoying the web design and 3D aspects too! Heck lets just say I love the whole damn course!

From the introduction I can already feel that my drawings are going to improve so much with the drawing techniques I'm going to get out of my Thursday and Friday classes!

Now I don't think I'm the greatest or anything but I've definately been finding my way around the programs quite easily. Even on the occassions where I miss an explanation on something I can usually figure it out just by exploring programs so I'm very much relieved. And I always have my text books and the built in help programs and online tutorials to help me along with what I want to do.

On another note toxyart.com is being worked on between me and shannon in our free time and I'm getting really excited about that too! The links are going in and we're just about ready to list the cupcakes for sale!

-2 of my grandparents have terminal cancer.
-My brother was beaten up on thursday just because he didnt have any cigarettes to give to a group of 12 thugs when they asked... Thankfully he's ok. He's just very bruised up with a huge black eye but it was enough to scare all of us...
-I still cant get a job.
-I might have RSI in my arm- drawing has been painful but I have to keep drawing to try and keep my sanity and do my commissions.
-Wont be doing the course of my choice because i can't afford it. Dont know if i will be doing the short course yet but need to apply for it by the 15th. Need to make up my mind.
-I've got guy troubles.
-And theres a lot more going on i just cant make it all public here because it is very personal.
I've been working my ass off on commissions and revamping my jewelry website- which will be moving to a new domain for a reason i dont really want to post here. But yes ive been very stressed X_X

I'm sorry to my friends if i have been distant towards you lately.

I just have a lot going on and im trying to deal with it. Its all taking a huge toll on me emotionally and physically. A lot of its been hard to talk about. I've been trying but I really cant seem to collect my thoughts properly. And im probably not making much sense half the time.

Um other stuff that happened today- I'm feelings heaps better, my flus let up a huge deal so I went to bingo, had a great day with mum, bought the cutest little mustard yellow handbag (bargain at 10 bucks! I needed one anyway since my last one was practically ruined a couple of weeks ago- so i didnt feel too bad about spending it XD ) I also got the road rules book so I'm going to start trying to get my liscense yay! And the rains absolutely pelting down outside! (I mean I can hear it over "Poker Face" its that loud and heavy!) oo hey my 10k pageviews coming up lawlz

Neopets
I'm thinking about going back to neo. I like what they've done with being able to transfer pets between accounts and I'd like to transfer Kasumeh, Mecohea, Doaki and Amequi to my main account Toxentra and return to it. Having said this I'm still a bit peeved at all the changes that have occured on neopets over the time its been around so I will only be going back in small doses but I do plan to recreate my petpages just for the hell of it. I guess I'm just going back for the nostalgia of it. I miss the petpages and adoptables and the good art and rp community that I see has still somewhat survived. This does not mean I'll be quitting or playing subeta any less then I do now. We'll just see how everything goes

Ive been worried about my dog whos just got out of the hospital yesterday after having a tumor and bladder stones removed.

I'm finding it hard to get a job right now, and I have no money. My jewelrys not really selling. I've been ripped off by the post office which ate into any profits made on a piece.

And I'm pretty much overall getting really depressed with my art to the point where I almost just want to give it up.

I work bloody hard on my art... But I guess its just the wrong style for Subeta? I don't think I'm some super amazing artist or anything, but I'm sick of getting turned down for work over anime and chibi's usually made by people with established fame on the site.

And I'm really struggling to stay positive about my work...

Sure she may have 6 aria's to her name now but she'll be nothing more then another one hit wonder.

That "Sweet About Me" Song was just pushed in our faces, played to death, rammed down our throats- and sure- it sounded alright in the beginning- sure, it was catchy but after hearing it at least 5 times a day on T.V and on the radio I just wanted to throw something heavy at whatever blasted machine was playing it.

I couldn't even name one other song she's sung and I wouldnt even bother looking for any more.

Maybe I was just one of the really unlucky ones (or I listen to too much radio when I work on my jewelry...) I actually had to resort to the classical station just to get away from that AND Leona Lewis's Bleeding Love AND Vanessa Amorosi Simple Things AND all the music that pretty much sounds the same on the radio these days- and of course anything by the fucking Veronica's. *shudder*

In my opinion it's been a bad music year- One of those years where everythings pretty much shit so someone grabs one "OK" song out of a pile of crap and plays it to death, gets it a truck load of arias and puts some 17 year old girl who doesnt know what the fuck she's doing, booze her up and toss her out in the new year.

Ok so I just needed to vent about something- so much easier to have a bitch about someone famous then bitch about the shit in my life on a public medium. Its good stress relief *burns a stack of Sweet about me singles*

Going to be going to the markets within the next month or two, I'm very excited but also I'm very tired from all the work I've been doing so please excuse the shortness of this journal.

I'd like to appologise for my Subeta commissions being so late, I'm trying to beat a certain deadline with my jewelry and the presentation of my brand. Gotta have most of this done by next Friday.

Can't wait till I can draw again, but I must be patient for now.

It's been going for about two weeks now I think?

Every night I'm up till usually 4am colouring or sketching. BUT I have such a problem with patience, because before i finish anything I'm starting something new XD I'm such a nut case.

I need to transfer this energy over to making jewerly over the next few weeks. I've sussed out the markets and have a better idea of what i need to do, all i need now is more stock and some business cards or pamplets, furniture and some more display busts and earring racks and things of the like. (Wonder if i can get those cheaply in bulk somewhere? I paid $15 for the display bust i have already)

Anywho enough random bable outta me except for this thought

Kinda crappy how neo doesnt give np prizes for the BC anymore. Actually theres really not that many ways to make a lot of np these days. Its disapointing how stingy they became. Subeta's point system is so much better but they really gotta get more games!

I know I can't expect instant results but I really want to get some feed back and so far- nothing.

*Sigh* Maybe I need to find some more ways to advertise- I don't wanna be one of those annoying people who spam every forum they set foot in but I really wanna get my jewelry out there and people looking at it and commenting on it and telling me if it's good or needs improvement or should be completely scrapped.

I'm losing sleep because I'm so worried that I wont be able to sell my jewelry outside of friends. I've put all my money into this and I owe my parents another 600 dollars... I may just be over reacting *deep breath*

I'm currently working with a series of Australia themed necklaces at the moment and I'm hoping the idea will take off, but what I really need is feedback to settle my nerves...

What things are out there that can help me promote my jewelry?

I just wanted to thank everyone for welcoming me along, you were all so kind and it was such a pleasure meeting all of you ^^ And thanks, Teagan for inviting me and driving me there and bringing me back home again!

Maybe next time I'll have a costume to join in with instead of being "Extra number 27 from some random anime" XD And I really do hope that there's going to be a next time!

The absolute highlight of my day was meeting the Master Chief (I'm sure he's sick of all the fangirls by now

). His costume was amazing and having played (more so watched my brother play XD) the Halo series I was extremely excited and squeeling with joy like a nutzo fangirl!

I can't wait to see everyone again, I've been added and have added a few of you to DA though I'm sure I'm missing heaps of names!

I'm going to need some time to redevelop my characters who I believe I'm going to just base on DA now cause I'm just too busy to mess with anything else right now.

So 3 years along the track:- I'm happier, more positive, older, easy going, wiser and less fragile then I used to be.

I'm starting my own business very shortly and I'm hoping to make an account here to post some of the work I plan to sell, it's very exciting yet somewhat scarey

I'm looking very much forward towards getting it off the ground.

For anyone who cared enough to wonder where i was- I took off into Azeroth- the world in a game called World Of Warcraft. I've been on there for the last 3-4 years on the gurubashi pvp server with 4 lvl 70 horde characters, Katey (Holy Paladin), Hyamei (feral druid), Toxilyss (fire mage) and Toxentral (beast mastery hunter) and all my characters are in a kick butt all girls guild called Girls Gone WoW. I still play but I had to quit end game raiding because it was taking up way too much of my time and with this new business venture of mine starting up, I needed the time for other things.

And having talked about my business in this post, I do know that i wont be as active here as i would like to be, but I'm going to try anyway. If any of my old friends are out there I would love to hear from you!
