My baby shower went great, all of the people that are close to Tim and I were there, and it meant so much to see them all in the same place being tollerant of eachother for this baby. Still no news on the sex of the baby, but hopefully we can get that sorted out soon after the new year, although the short little glance that I did get looked like a girl. I'm really happy with the way things are going in my life right now, the only thing that I would change is of course having Tim here with me to experiance not only the birth of our first baby, but the pregnancy as well, I know its just as hard on him being away from us right now, but its his job, and I understand that. My husband is a soldier, long "business Trips" away from home tend to happen alot.

Back to the baby, he or she is very healthy and kicking mommy all the time, loves to be played with, hates my mom's dog, who sleeps with me, because she wakes us up every morning way too early for our liking. lol. Doctor says that the two of us are doing just great, and I couldn't be more thankful for that.

Well I hope that you guys enjoy the pictures and I can't wait to hear what you think about them, right now though baby's pestering me letting me know that its time for bed so I'm off!

Pictures might be a bit slow comming for a while in general though, I have to see how much my doctor is going to let me walk in a day first, and all that good stuff. Hope you guys are great!!

Just so you guys know the shoot went really well, and I ended p shooting 3 kids insted of two which was really nice, I actally got paied for my work! not much but still it makes me feel good to know that even though I wasn't expecting to get paied, I did. The pictures will be up as soon as I get something done with them, trim them up a little and make them look nice. And on top of that I now have people wanting me to body pierce for them as well, so that's really exciting! After the Baptism I ended up shooting a few pictures of another little girl, Which I'll also be using here on deviant. I'm like where my work is taking me right now, its a bit unexpected, I didn't expect to be a hired photographer for a good LONG while. The other lady whose daughter was Baptized even asked me if I went to school for it! I feel great right now!

Second off, some time later this month I'll have my new camera, which my husband was supper nice in getting for me. Its a Canon EOS Rebel XTi, I'm looking foward to having alot of new photos for you guys.

If you'll look through my gallery you'll find that I added "Gnome" and "A Bottle Well Used" as prints, if you're interested in that. I'm hoping to have more photos that I think are worthy of submitting as prints here soon.

For those of you reading this that actually bother to read the Hot Topics that get sent to you, I was reading today about the new senior mentor program, and I think that it is a lovely Idea, and I for one am willing to get into that program, its a great chance, for every one on DA to get to know other artists of their trade better, and also to get some great advice. I'm hopping to learn alot for this program, and I'm also hopping that alot of people will look into it and take advantage of it.

Mk so I thought that it would be nice just to let you guys know that alot of my out door shots now are going to be of the churches around the city, there is alot of very beautiful religious art here in the city, as well as all over Europe, don't get me wrong I'm still going to take my normal shots of what ever floats my boat, BUT In my opinion the most beautiful Churches on earth are right here in my new back yard. Once I'm out and about when the grave yard is actually unlocked I'll give a little look into that. I'm planning on making a trip down to a town called Straubing here soon, which is where I spent my summer, so that I can visit a friend, and hopefully get a shot of one of the funniest Head Markers I have ever seen in my life. I'm hoping that I can start my job here soon which will allow me to get a better camera, nothing too fancy maybe a Cannon since I'm used to working with one.... maybe a Rebel XTi.... man that's a hot camera or the EOS Rebel XTi, I think I like that one better. There's alot to see here.. and I want to make sure that I get the best of it captured for the folks back home. well I hope that you all have a great time!

that bit of advice means alot in my eyes. I'm hopping to put it to good use with out much of a problem. I love my family... but I've always felt that I should be the strong one, the one that never shows when something is wrong, able to hold my head up through most situations. BUT some things happened to me in the past year.. and that cool calm person that I thought I should be crumbled at my feel... I went through alot of things that I never in my life thought I would go through... and I admitted to alot of problems that I had, and that I'm still working on. I got out and went to study for a month in Germany, in all honesty I never really thought that I would have the guts to get on a plane. But every thing happens for a reason right??

I didn't pick up a pencil to draw all summer long, all because I was depressed that I had hurt alot of people around me... but when I finally did pick a pencil up again, just for a small sketch... The smell of the wood shavings, the feel of it in my fingers, the pleased feeling I got when I saw the led smeared on my fingers, god I wanted to cry I was so happy. This was around the same time i met my husband. Art is more than just an outlet for me... its in my blood, art is more than just a talent.

lol i got off subject... I'm going to be getting used to my new home I'll write a little when I get there just to let every one know I got there safe. After all... we've got to stick together right??
