        <media:text type="html"><![CDATA[ Reflecting upon my art school days recently, a thought popped into my head...a rarity. :lol:<br />I was thinking back to how we were instructed in Life Drawing 101 to do gesture drawings within a short period of time. Basically, it is a method of training hands to quickly sketch what the brain has already seen. Staying "focused" means sustained concentration. Once you start drawing you can't stop because there's only a minute or two to finish! <br />With that practice in mind I figured it would be a good exercise for photography as well. Too often I hear people say they have "writer's block" when it comes to finding something to photograph. So five p ]]></media:text>

The pipe must have dropped to the floor and then ignited the chemicals. Luckily my cat Eve was screaming and woke me up and I saw everything in flames and melting...all the years of negatives and all my camera gear now just soot. I grabbed Eve and ran.
