I've been away for a while

been busy with works
and some environmental project ( still working on it )

I took a long break of photography, i was out of idea
and inspiration. Instead of shooting nothing and everything
i decided to stop. My passion is back and kicking so i'll
start posting again but less than before cause im still busy
with other project.

It's nice to be back and i can't wait to go around
my friends gallery's to see new stuff.

The day i was waiting for is now here

Im still in a great mood and ready to go out and shoot.
Today i will do all the boring stuff like grocery, clean up the house and stuff like that.

Im not a winter guy. I don't do any winter sport or activity at all. So for me winter
is very long and boring. but now i can feel the heat of spring

watching the snow
melting is a real passion for me

that mean i can live again.

Yes im inactive but it's not my fault
I can't find the time i need to do something that i love and i mean

My head is loaded with ideas and projects and now they are fighting

It will be mostly Black and white HDR portrait.
I'll keep the idea of the project in my mind for now,
just to be sure that no 1 will stole my idea before i start.
Better to be safe than sorry.

A little thing about HDR.
HDR is maybe 1 of the best way to bring
details in shadows and highlights.
That's why some photographers call
HDR the zone system for the digital.

After you took 3 or shots or more in bracketing mode
you use a program like photomatix or photoshop
to merge all the pictures you took.
The program will calculate the exposure of each shots
and bring the details where theres shadows and highlights.

Of course it wont show you details in something full black or
full white.

I have to finish my christmas shopping

now im thinking should
i bring a shotgun ??? I can't stand people at this time of the year.
I think if i have to choose between shopping surrounded by zombies
who are slow and brainless and crazy brainless people who a running
in all direction i'll go for the zombies.

Ok ok i sound like i hate christmas but it's not true.
Im sure i'll have good time with my family and friends.
I don't have the stress of the perfect gift because i know
that they don't need a 60 inches plasma tv to be happy, just good
times, good food and good drink and im not talking about water

Now i just hope that i will have time to do some photos while im on
vacation. Well i should say that i hope i will have some inspiration
cause now my brain is working on slow motion ( well is always running like that

)

Hi Folks.

First, I'm thinking about buying a new camera.
Maybe the Fuji F30. I need something small cause
i want to bring it with me everywhere i go.

I know that i missed alot of spontaneous shot everyday
and i'm tired to say to my self, damn another great shot
that i will not take. I know that i have my D200 and my D70
but it's kinda big and it's not always safe to bring
my D200 at work.

The new account will be dedicated for my spontaneous and
everyday life shots. This account will be use for studio
and conceptual photos.

Again we are in a huge rush at work so my free time is

I'm still working on the project, don't worry it's comming

I asked at few photographers to be official critic staff, i will
present you them very soon.

For now i'm working on a lil design for my journal.
Like banner and other stuff.

The Idea

We all know that comment on our works can be helpful
to go further. So i decided to use this journal as a critic
journal.

The way it will work :

If you think one of your picture need comment about the
composition, light, colours, exposure, framing etc etc...
You'll just have to send me a note with the link of your picture
and i will post the photo into my journal.

It's gonna be you guys and gals to comment the picture through
my journal. Please try to be the more constructive you can cause
all comments will be use by the photographer to understand
what he/she have to do the get better picture in the futur.

The picture will stay in my journal for 7 days ( maybe less, not sure yet )

After i received 10 pictures i will post a stop action in my journal, that'll meen
that i wont accept photos for a while.

Hello Friends.

I've decided that i will disable comment on my new photos.
Why ? First i want to say that it's not cause i don't like to read
comments from you my friends, it's more cause i want to take
more times to work on my photos, browsing and commenting
other people works. Theres another thing that i want to put
more time on it, and it's my web site.

Why DA :

For me DA is an exhibition room. A place where i can show
my work and watch other people arts. Since i'am here i've found
some great photographers that i love to watch, like :
`arachnid15 this guy works is incredible and it's a nice surprise
each time he posted something and when he work with =Katerina423
it's getting more intresting then ever.

I do not comment all the time but i always take the times it need
to check the details, conception, light, pose, colours, framing, emotions etc etc...
When i comment it's cause i have something to say. I'm not a big fan
of this kind of comment : nice shot, beautiful colours, WOW or amazing
I think if you take time to work on a shot, you deserve some constructive
comments. For me it's 1 of the best way to go further into your arts.

A place where i want to put more time it's in conversation ( maybe through MSN )

Just got the Internet
I will answer to your comments and everything

As a community we have to encourage other artist to
go further into their art. Instead of just sharing arts we
should also share tips and tricks between us.
If you have questions about some technical stuff ( Realted with photography ), feel
free to send me a note and i will answer you back as soon

messages on my new DD and i don't have the time

It's been a while now that i think about the Life at work project.
Now i'm ready to start the photo project.

A different point of view :

We saw alot of homeless project.
How hard is to live in the street.
Where to get food, money and a roof when it's cold outside.
I know it's not an easy life and theres still alot of thing to say
about that and alot of thing to do to help them.

What i want to show you is how hard it can be in
the world of work.
How hard is for the people like you and me when
we are under pressure cause of dead line and client
needs. How we have to manage to keep our life straight
under the stress of money and responsabilities.

The shooting :

I'll take all the photos where i work ( Stainless steel shop )

Machines and equipements

It will take me some times to acheive the project cause i dont have the permission
to shoot when i want. so be patient. Between that i'll keep shooting nature as i do at the moment.

The Critique :

Plz i need constructive comment on that project, more than just nice or beautiful.
It's very important to me that i receive constructive comments to go further into my project.
