I gotta tell you, I didn't know he was the voice of Tamaki/Dark/Ikkaku/Fai, (I actually used to rant to my friends constantly about how i hated Fai and Tamaki's voice DONT TELL HIM XDD), but after watching some FMA, I totally FELL IN LOVE WITH HIM AND HIS VOICE. By the way, I read a new manga called Kaichou wa Maid-sama. It's similar to Special A, and it's a great story. It's out up to chapter 24 right now in Japan (and translations online.) Volume 1 comes out in the US in April. April. Oh well, I hope some of you can check it out.

Who's Galleria Randomness by?
It's by and me.

What is it?
It's about these people who work at different places in the mall. They're all acquainted.

It's a series of comic strips

What genre?
Romantic comedy. The partners at their stores are the couples

Who are the characters? (Character profiles maybe coming soon?)
The couple by me are named Tomi and Ichiro. They work at a restaurant.

The couple by ~mewmewsnow are called Mo and Sukai (Kai for short.) They work at a sporting goods store.
We have:
My characters Ichiro and Tomi working at a restaurant
and
~mewmewsnow's characters Mo and Kai working at a sports store.

Are those all your characters?!?!
No We're still planning to add another couple (another one of our friends) into it. We'll also have many, many, many guest appearances of course ..Not even counting side characters yet

So...They'll be in the mall FOREVER?
Hahaha no. Even though it's focused on their mall jobs first, I have a little plan to expand that with their pasts in side stories. And obvoiusly when their relationships deepen we'll do something but we actually have no idea yet.

How do you draw these?
It depends. We either do the sketch and lineart traditionally, or we sketch traditionally and do the lineart digitally. Either way, we add the panel boxes digitally.

I might make a tutorial one day if this little manga ever gets popular.

How do you color?
Well, the ones up right now are not colored. When I figure out how to tone, I'll edit them in (or if I feel like coloring digitally one day.) However, ~mewmewsnow likes to color traditionally, so you'll see some of those


They'll remain in plain lineart until I can figure out how to tone, or if ~mewmewsnow colors them

Do you have a set release schedule?
Sadly, no. I'd really love to crank out these little stories and draw all the time...But we have school, lol. So We'll update whenever we have some free time.

I beat The World Ends With You this morning. Square Enix makes such addicting games. The STORY is SUPERB like the art. Auugghghghh xD

I've got the idea of my one-shot manga up and running in the depths of my brain... It's a SUPER cliche idea but it's something I always think about... What better than to put it on a manga? I get to project one of my-closer-to-the-heart ideas, I get to practice drawing manga, and it's the first time I get to organize a real story. Three birds with one stone, neh? I'm so excited

The only thing I'm struggling is with names. I think I'll manage though.

I don't plan to properly ink as I'm just getting the manga out there. I'll probably try toning-- lets see how THAT turns out *shudder*

Anyway, I have this manga idea in my head. It's a story I've been thinking about for over 4 months, just too lazy to draw, haha. So I basically have all the events lined up. It's a short feel-good little mini romance story. Nothing too much... A time to practice manga-making.

It was a very good movie. It was such a dark plot, and exciting. The effects and music are amazing, the fight scenes were great, and there WAS a plot. The actors really did have a grasp of the characters. I really noticed how well the lead actors, Christian Bale, Heath Ledger, and Aaron Eckhardt, could act in the movie. As well as the others too. No one who had an awful performance in the movie. I can't say how good it is. WATCH IT!

Heath Ledger really was AMAZING as the Joker. I've developed a Heath obsession now, too. He was also in another of my favorites, 10 Things I Hate About You. (How does a former "movie-heartthrob" do such an amazing job as an evil villain!? xD) RIP, Heath. He was an actor with great potential that was fully realized in TDK. _{Why are people saying that he doesn't deserve an oscar, and his fame is only because he died? He really was remarkable in the film, even stealing the spotlight from Bale. Even if he was alive he deserves one, in my opinion.}

I hope whoever reads it, watches it. And remember, the Joker can make an ordinary pencil disappear!

Edit:
I ALSO BELIEVE that both Heath's Performance and TDK lived up to it's hype.

ALSO, AS WELL AS HEATH, Aaron Eckhardt was GREAT as Harvey Dent I can't imagine who else could be him. I think it was near par with Heath's performance. But just by a LITTLE bit. I almost said even, but I think heath did a better job, as he acted the role of a cynical villain in a mesmerizing-acting way. But, as well as Heath created a perfect portrayal of the Joker, Aaron created a perfect portrayal of Harvey Dent.

And don't get me started on Christian Bale, he's perfect too. xD He also received acclaim in Batman Begins...

So, I've been working on a manga
Problem is, I've gotten 3 pages half-done, but I have NO patience whatsoever. I draw the scenes I want to first, instead of chronologically. I even draw the boxes I want first on the page. xD

And I really want to scan up the pages to get it on the pc, but I don't kn how to edit it on here. I want to add screen tones and all that, but I have NO IDEA how D: All I have is photoshop and manga studio debut, and I have no idea how to use them right. I mean, of course I've tried, but the final result hasn't been good.

So anyway, look forward to seeing one of my favorite parts of my story soon, sketched up or touched-up-manga style!

Rant ahead:
Okay. So these things have been bugging me right now:
1.Most (if not all) of my friends think: simply, I'm an idiot. I mean, sometimes I just keep seeing their sentences directed at me ending with the words stupid or loser. And I just stand there thinking... What did I do...? And...uh, yeah.

2.If my friends think I'm an idiot, what do other people think of me? o_o

3.Uhh, this isn't much of a rant, but after looking around DA now, I noticed: There were a lot of artists that I looked up to, and they were really nice... But lately, some of them act kind of obnoxious... Like "LOLZ MOAR STUFFZ NAW GTFO" ._.' Uh, I mean, their art is still great, but stuff like that REALLY bugs me. I guess it's a result of popularity or something...

Uhm, that's all rants I have, but that stuff's really been bugging me lately. I actually have 2 comics to post up regarding them. XD

Sooo, what do you think I look like? Yep, this is a contest! ^_^

Contest Guidelines
-Anyone that has commented on my work/profile, faved, watched, friended me can join. I need to at least know a bit who you are. =]
-Draw a picture of what you think I look like (At least head to shoulder shot, and there isn't a limit, it just has to be on one deviation. It can even be a profile thing XD)
-It can be a sketch to a CG, it doesn't matter.
-I will probably be judging from originality/style, I can't really describe, I have to think about how still
-I will NOT judge on how close your art looks to the actual me. o_o'' I don't plan on putting a pic of me up here. Sorry if anyone was hoping o_O

There are more sketches in my sketchbook, but I don't plan to scan them. I need to start catching up with some homework and practice as well. Anyway. That was the best ending I have ever read. Someone spoiled it for me on YouTube, but what she said wasn't even as detailed as the ending, because what she said wasn't that bad eventually, compared to what happened.

I can't believe what happened to Mello. That made me sad. And Matt didn't get too much time. XP But Then Near, Mello, Matsuda, Mikami and Aizawa moved up to my favorite characters list. ^^

Mello and Near proved themselves. XD I like the whole Mello and Near teamwork thing. That was great. 8D

And Matsuda was brilliant tehre. In a weird way. I kinda knew that he would do something drastic eventually, but when Light was writing Nears name down that almost killed me. D8 But then Matsuda saved it all~ >XD

And the ending really left a feeling of closure. =]

BUT-- One more question:
WHERE AND HOW DO I FIND OUT L'S NAME!? LOL

The 12 color set ([link]) is probably what I would get...if I had the money. Gasp. $70 for markers.

I wanted the 36 ([link]) color set, but it's like... 200 dollars!? o_O

The art people make with these make me feel so inferior XD And I'm sure professionals use this. I think the creators of Death Note and Kishimoto use them. (I looked at the Naruto original art reaaaly closely, and I think it's copic.) And markers are far more easier than CG. >XD But the pros like them have money. >_<

I'll be using my crayola markers for now. >XD

And I read some Death Note manga online. It takes me so long to read it online, these translations take long to read. DX

I got to chapter 84/85 out of 100 chapters. This manga isn't as interesting anymore as when it started, but there are some parts that make me want to slam my head on my desk, which is good. I still feel for this manga. XD

But, Near looks too much like L. I don't think he's JUST L's succesor. He has L's eyes. >_> And both Near and L... L eats sweets all the time, Near does puzzles or something. They're too alike.
And I don't see why L's death was so... blunt. Maybe it's Light's horrid fake "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" scream that broke the mood. -_-

Anyway, who here read/reads the Death Note Manga? I got the 7th one today. When I fighured what happened, I didn't cry (I think I'm immune to crying over anime/manga... Except KH2 o_O), but now I'm sad >_< why? WHY!?

But I bet when this is animated, or when the reality sinks in, I might cry. =/ Meh, animations hit me harder than mangas/books. =/
