Here's some bits from it:

My grandma recently had knee surgery and tried to tell my grandpa that he didn't need to spend all weekend at the hospital with her. He simply replied with, "Didn't I say in sickness and in health?" Their love GMH.

I work at a hair salon, and every Saturday this man brings his wife in to get her hair washed and blow dried. She had a stroke and cannot walk or talk, he also puts her lipstick and blush on for her every morning, they have been together for over 50 years. Their love GMH.

About a year before my dog died, he started to go blind. When my cat realized this, she began helping him find his way by rubbing against his legs, running ahead of him, and meowing loudly so he could follow the sound of her voice. The love pets have not just for people but for each other GMH.

Last summer, I went to Iowa for a week to visit my friends grandparents with her. One night I was walking up the stairs to go to sleep and I heard her grandpa's voice. I asked why he was up so late, and she responded "My grandpa still reads to my grandma at night." Their love GMH.

Today, at an assembly, i saw a guy in my grade getting picked on by some guys on the football team because he was gay. the brutal insults went on for about five minutes until the quarterback, the king of our school, stood up and announced he was gay. nobody ever made fun of the kid again. after, i asked him if he really was gay. He isn't. GMH.

I work in aged care, and every day at morning tea time, 2 residents sit together and share a slice of cake. They met 2 years ago when they came to live in the Nursing home, and today they shared their first kiss. A room full of 70+ year old people clapped. True love, no matter how old we are, is still magical. GMH.

So, this week was...weird. I had a really bad breakdown on Thursday, but I'm doing a lot better now, thanks to some good friends, and especially and .
I love you guys.

Yesterday I got to hang out with Sarah, and we watched Rent, and Pirates movies.
And we sobbed over poor Angel!
Of course he died right after we agreed that he was our favorite thing in the movie.

Today I had a much-needed lazy day.
Got a Christmas tree with the family.
I really really HATE that part of the holidays.
One: I don't even believe in Christmas.
Two: MY MUM SPENDS AN HOUR PICKING A TREE JUST TO DECIDE SHE HATES IT!
But this year, my dad bribed my sister and I to get our mum to pick a tree in ten minutes.

I have to babysit for my dad's VERY religious friend.
Meaning for once, I'll have to keep my opinions to myself.
I need the money.
I've also been losing my patience with people lately, mainly four of them in particular.

My words are hollow, but this feeling is here, swelling like waves on the ocean, locked inside my chest.
I wish I could spill it out to you.
I think it would be swirls of pink and blue, soft colours.
Feather soft.
It would be a net, catching you when you fell, and grabbing your hand when you even just tripped a little.
But sometimes it would be bright neon wings, made of thousands of roses and buttons and ink and music notes.

So, camping...It was really fun.

After she left I just mostly hung out on the beach with my family and hiked...I got SO TAN. (eep)

I got REALLY sick while I was there for a day though.
It was horrible.
Just a twentyfour hour bug but I spent half the night dry-heaving into a bucket and swearing like a pirate at my mum.

Damn it.
Haha, so I've been pretty busy lately, but I don't really mind.
I had a family reunion the other day which...wasn't as terrible as I expected.
It was held on my cousins' farm and their land is BEAUTIFUL.
For some reason, I let my crazy ten year old cousin drive me on a fourwheeler.
I'm shocked I'm alive to tell you about it.
Then I had a sleepover with Sarah and Allison, which was fun, only we ate way too much cake.
I've been working my ass off trying to make money before camping, and damn, is it wearing me down.
I've mainly been doing yard work and stuff like that.
But I'm really looking forward to camping.
Sammi's coming with us for the first week of it, I'm so excited.

Alright, so I first read Twilight in 8th grade, and I thought it was pretty good.
I mean, there's lame points, like the whole glittery vampire issue.
But whatever, it was a fun story.
Lately, though...
Things are getting out of hand.
I mean, it's fine to be a fan of something.
I own a Twilight shirt (thanks Sam) and it's cute.
But those people who buy every Twilight shirt they came out with, plus made their own, plus the (ugly) Twilight bags, plus, I dunno, Twilight stationary...It concerns me.
There were these three girls in Womens chorus who sat next to me and every day, day after day, for the WHOLE DAMN YEAR I had to listen to them babble about Twilight.
They connected out field trip to Philadelphia to Twilight. (How? No clue)
They connected our songs to Twilight. ("Oh my love's like a red red rose that's newly sprung in June. Oh my love's like a melody that's sweetly played in tune."..."Oh my gosh, it's such a sweet song, Eddykins should sing this to Bellapie.")
I wanted to claw their eyes out.

Alright, ahem.
Sophomore year is drawing, finally, to a close.
I only have a few more finals to take, and I'll be done and over with.
So, what have I learned from this painfully looooong year?
Well, first of all, it actually went by really quickly.
My classes taught me quite a bit, though not exactly what they were supposed to be teaching me.

AP History-I am capable of taking notes and sleeping at the same time. Literally, I'm not even kidding.

Spanish-Verb conjugation is terrible. There are too many tenses in the Spanish language. Screw them all.

English 10 Honours-Nothing is real. Red means sex. Victorian English is another language entirely. The measurement of time is nonexistent, so it's okay to be late to your classes. Sushi always tastes better when you eat it in the middle of a test.

Fashion and Clothing-I hate sewing curves. Karma's a bitch. Lace makes everything look better.

Chorus-Don't faint onto carpet. I have a much lower voice than I thought. Teachers will always play favorites.

Geometry-Sleep in class. There's no hope of learning the material anyways.

Girls Physical Education-The little white ball in boccie is called a palini. Change your clothes fast.

Living Environment-People are fucking annoying. Music is good for drowning them out. Do the god damn labs and suck it up.

So yeah, that's pretty much all I got out of this year from my classes.
I have a ton of pictures to upload, but I don't wanna dump them all on you at once, so I'm trying to go a bit slower.
So many people have been pulling the 'fav and run.'
I'm kinda sad, I'm a bit of a comment whore.
Haha.

So, has anyone ever heard of Gloomy Sunday?
It's otherwise known as The Hungarian Suicide Song.
Apparently if you listen to it, you hear a voice telling you to kill yourself, and most people do.
I've been playing it for a few days and I'm good so far.
I think it is a really beautiful, but sad, song, though.
If you want to listen to it, I suggest the Sarah McLachlan version, she sings it wonderfully.

I hung out with Sarah and Sammi and my family took me and Sammi out to dinner for sushi.
Friday I stayed home sick, but not really, cause my aunt and uncle showed up from Florida and took us out to lunch.
It was awesome, I hadn't seen them in four years.
