Ah...well, I wouldn't really want to date any of them. I know all of their problems >.> But perhaps the most decent, though a bit of a block-head, would be Dinhith. Maybe even Vidar if I didn't fear him literally falling apart on me.

I'm glad this question asked for the third XD Dinhith would save me. That tattered cloak of his will be bye bye in no time.

Not developed enough. Some of these guys are pretty new. And the older ones were made a long time ago when my mind was still very immature and unaware of the world around me.

If Landon and his partner ever got goldfish, or any fish for that matter, for their kid he'd eat 'em. I don't think he'd be it XD Dinhith is pretty mature and responsible, most of the time, but he'd have to father the kid alone D: *is sad now and shakes fist at Gildae*

XD Landon for indecent exposure? *shot* No. Diamond would certainly be. He's a thief, after all. But he'd have to be caught first.

This makes me sad. The setting for this character wouldn't at all allow him to have a job other than what he is assigned to do at the camp he's being forced to live at. But if he were put into a natural situation, one based in our own time, he'd probably be working as a freelance photographer.

O.O *is scared* I wouldn't want to be Veassen for a few minutes let alone a whole day. Veassen would be just staring to walk bipedally (he's a naga-esque creature), getting the hang of it. He has little patience, so he wouldn't get along with any of my friends, even the more mature ones, but he could probably handle my college classes...despite the fact he has absolutely no artistic ability. Though he would think my political science teacher too silly for his taste, he would enjoy learning about the government.

Once again, the reason some of these answers are as amusing as they are is ‘cause I was using one of my character’s playlists, Landon, which I listen to this playlist the most regardless (and happened to listening to before having discovered this meme on my friend’s journal) . All of the songs on it I love, or find amusing, and some are just beautiful. Like before, I was sure there would be more Queen songs on here XD

OMG. On the 10th I’ll have been a member of DA for six years. Not sure this is an accomplishment or not, but XD might as well be happy about it. School is still driving me up a wall, but I’m managing.

Why do people come to DA and talk about their personal life? It may be called a "journal" but in reality it is more of a breeding ground for gossip and ranting. The purpose of a journal is to catalog personal events that have happened to you: your thoughts, comments, emotions, and the actions themselves all on a piece of paper (or a file, or whatever you prefer using). Usually a journal is protected, hidden away, and kept out of the sight of prying eyes. So why is it that people come to DA to advertise their daily lives to whoever watches them and the occasional passerby? For the attention? Certainly some of these watchers easily become friends so I understand the support system involved. I know I've come to DA to ask for advice, to search for some greater insight to some problem I'm having hoping that a collection of people will have the answer that I as a sole person cannot find.

I understand the many benefits.

However, there is one grand problem I have with this form of expression.
The drama it allows to ensue.

Let's take a couple of friends fighting for example. This happens every day, usually for good reason (I am in no way undermining anyone's reason or valid points during these arguments, I'm sure you have your motives, otherwise there wouldn't be a fight in the first place) but then things become, what I figure, inappropriate when one (or sometimes more) decide to go to DA and tell the other person off, using a DA journal. What does this do I wonder? Does it solve the problem? Certainly it might make the other person aware of some wrong they are doing, but what else does it do? In my humble opinion, it creates even more drama for the couple having the fight. How so? Well, I already mentioned before that creating a journal alerts all of those watchers/(friends in some cases) to a problem you and this other person are having. And let's be honest...if your watchers don't know this person, whose side are they going to settle with? Yours. They may not even fully agree with you but because they are loyal to you they will stick by your side.
What's worse is when one of the people in the argument(is it obvious yet I'm struggling to find the right name and not sound repetitive?) mentions in their journal the username of this person they are fighting with. Even using a real name isn't nearly as bad as a username...Why? Because if these watchers of yours now have access and can harass the other person, using the username you just provided. Doesn't that sound just plan rude? That's like...kicking the other person when they're down...God knows whether or not they deserve it, but even if they do, do you want to really lower yourself to that level?

And look guys...this is your fight, something you should be discussing together, not involving a second, third or a myriad of parties into. As much as you might think other people on DA will mind their own business, well, I can vouch for all those who don't. It is human nature to want to see what is going on and be a part of the tension a person you know is going through. Curiosity is a bitch sometimes, isn't it?
If you have no other way to contact this person other than using DA, that's fine, I understand that, but you can easily NOTE them. That way, only the two of you are involved, not everyone else who happens to receive your journal entries in their messagebox everyday.

Is it obvious now that friends of mine are fighting? As I stated before, I am not here to take sides or undermine any points either party are making. I am not part of this fight and I refuse to involve myself (I think I just did just by making this damned entry -_-). But I think this has gone on too long with the whole, "let's go and tell this or that person why they're wrong and why I think I'm right on DA". And don't argue with me and tell me there is any other reason you posted, because honestly, when you look at it, there is no excuse. It has happened multiple times in the past and I'm rather tired of the repercussion. I do not want these people involved to comment about this journal entry. I simply wrote it to tell the world of something that presses a button with me, not to insult you or critic you personally (as you might have noticed, I haven't called out a single person...as there is none). I have so many things I want to say, so many things I need to get out but I really don't know if I have a voice. Actually, I have a hard time yelling XD This is completely irrelevant information, but I find it funny. I can yell, I can get loud, but I really can't scream...it's like there's a muzzle or something on everything I'm holding in my head. I feel this way about everything. I try to tell people things and sometimes they listen, sometimes, or sometimes they catch a word here and there and interpret it completely the wrong way, or they hear what I'm trying to say but miss the meaning. I don't have bad intentions...when I do say something, even when I'm angry (and I usually have a good reason to be; it's very hard to get me really angry about something) I try to be fair and give as much advice about something without lecturing. This apparently doesn't work because either no one hears me to begin with or they don't want to hear what I have to say. Is this anyone's fault by myself? No. I know for a fact there has to be something I can do to get myself heard, but I don't have the balls to do so. To some extent I'm sure I'm exaggerating. Some people do hear me sometimes...sometimes, and when they do I do appreciate it, even if I don't say anything or show some sign that I'm glad.

I feel alone most of the time. As I said before, no one really listens to me so I find talking to myself works the best. I talk to myself out loud most of the time. My mother has come in on that on more than one occasion and thought it odd, but I usually give some excuse like 'Oh no, I wasn't talking to myself, I was laughing at something funny I was just watching on YouTube.' I don't think she believes me. Oh well. I walk along my campus and notice there are thousands of people around me, but I don't know anyone and I don't give any effort to know anyone. I've always told myself I'm a loner. In some respect that is true; I do like being on my own and I believe I am capable of surviving alone (that doesn't mean I want to be alone all the time). But in most respects I feel that I'm probably just saying that to cover up some deep seeded loneliness that has no other way to communicate. Either way I'll manage. It just makes me horribly sad when people I know and care about act as though I've abandoned them. When did this happen? When I went to college O.o? I'm sorry but I've kind had planned to continue my education before I even met you and even if we had been together for a long time, I would still be going to a school and occupying most of my attention there because I sort of want a good paying job I know that a colleg degree will help me get. And it's not like I don't feel remorse. My God! There was even this one time I walked out of my English class and thought to myself I had to hurry and go meet my friends at our usual meeting spot and only realized a few seconds later that I'm no longer in high school, and I'm no longer surrounded constantly by these friends.

If I had the choice I'd spend every minute with these people. Too bad life doesn't go the way you want it to all the time. I wish I could just get my degree but spend the weekends with those I feel comfortable around at the same time. I don't know really how to express love or appreciation, I know this is a character flaw I have in myself, but I do want you guys to know that I do care about you. It's just sad I have to say it in a note on an website because like I said before, I really don't have a voice...

I don't even know how to be honest with myself. I don't have the guts. I told my mom once I wanted a sex change but I don't think she believed me. The first thing she said, after a few seconds of silence, was "Are you a lesbian?" All I did was stare at her for a second like 'Geezus! Your gender does not dictate your sexuality', but of course I didn't say this allowed. Instead I started to shake nervously and told her no. This was an honest answer, after all, I believe myself to be a man -no matter how effeminate I happen to be- and I am attracted to other men. I don't have the courage to tell my family outright what it is I'm feeling. I've tried to lay out hints...making comments on how I wish my voice was lower and that I wanted to sound more like a man, or that I prefer men's clothing and show far more interest in other things that generally society associates with the male gender. I wasn't using any of that just to get their attention, I honestly do believe a lot of what I was using as a truth about myself. I'm still giving hints all the time, though they're really not taking the bait (they usually just stare, or my brother makes some rude comment). Beyond the Veil is a project I have been working on for well over a year now. I have decided to make it into a comic(considering I have no writing ability what-so-ever), and am holding a contest for the cover of the comic( and posibly book as well if that ever gets published).
