Well, the year's almost over. The world's starting to recover. The economy's still in the balance. So much death and destruction, and yet still so much life.

For me, 2009 was full of betrayals, heartbreaks, breakdowns, and falling down. I'm not sorry to see it go. I've been torn apart by my closest friends, betrayed by one I considered my sister. On the other side of the coin, I did get to meet some amazing new people. Some of them even became my friends, and I honestly don't think I would have made it through any of the bad things without them. 2009 also saw my family getting bigger with two marriages and now two engagements. I'm happy for them, and glad that I get to call them my family. I'm going to attempt to make myself hope for the better in 2010.

Lately, I've been feeling really.. I don't know how to explain it other than numb, broken, and forsaken. I'm not sure what triggered it or why it even happened, but I want it to go away. I'm growing sick of being depressed most of the time. Sure, I've got my happy moments, but they're getting rare. A couple days ago, I smiled and my friend almost passed out, he said it's been almost a year since I've really smiled, not faked one. I don't know. I'm trying to get rid of it. And I'm kind of managing to, but the snow here is irritating me and I pulled something in my drawing hand shoveling. The wonders of Erie and Lake Effect snow. -.-

Speaking of Lake Effect snow... We just got out of a Lake Effect Snow warning. I'm estimating how much I've got in my yard... I think we've got close to a foot and a half out there. I wouldn't mind so much if it wasn't the wet, heavy kind of snow. Or if it was warmer than 20 degrees. ...Okay, it's 23 degrees right now. Maybe warmer than 35 degrees would be a better statement.

....This is random, but I'm freaking out. First the Browns defeat the Steelers [my mom, dad, and several cousin's team] and then the Raiders [my cousin John's team] and I'm ecstatic. Todd told me the Brown's wouldn't beat the Raiders and I just said 'we'll see.' HA! I'm the only Browns fan in my entire family, so I'm having a blast. Though, I don't follow football that closely at all.

Ummm...I can't really thing of anything else to talk about right now... So I'm gonna end the rants now.
