As you probably all figured, I didn't die. Life has just been busy and I've been finding very little time to do the things I enjoy. Drawing and animating are two of those things, unfortunately.  That's not to say I haven't been doing either of these things - it's just, I've been doing them for 'work', or for 'clients' if you like :P. I've managed to land myself 3 separate internships doing what I love this summer (and it's going to be busy...) but unfortunately they are all unpaid. So... great experience. But not a great financial situation to be in.

Thing is, it's not that I've given up drawing... In fact all I've done for past couple months is draw - except they've been people, not ponies. Uni is so demanding this year :(

I've watched the season 3 episodes though, and I don't have anything bad to say about them. They were just good, easy to watch episodes, which I guess is all MLP needs to be :D. I had a really good day. I've now entered my twenties, which is a pretty scary thought actually :D  But my friends and I celebrated just as any 20 year olds should... by making a blanket fort with clothes dryers and pegs, and playing games of snap inside. Of course. What else would we do? :P

I've done quick searches on it and most say a cable is the cheapest option - but what are these cables generally called? I've seen ones that plug into the jack, and others that use USB. I'm not really sure what to search for on ebay/amazon in order to find one. (I'd like something that's relatively cheap and I know will work :P)

I'm using it as a place to post ideas/sketches I'll probably never use or elaborate on. I'm wanting everything to be traditional; no digital art because that's what I'm comfortable with. So I listened to the album through a couple of times yesterday during a long journey and I have to say it's pretty good. I don't listen to a huge amount of dubstep/house/trance/whatever you call it  music but I have to say I enjoyed the majority of it. I'm just wondering what everyone else thought  :)

My favourite would have to be Hurricane Dial by Sci... phew, what an experience that is to listen to. Just amazing :D  I've never heard his stuff before, but I'll definitely be following it now.

When I signed up for dA 4 years ago I only dreamed of having this many people see my art. I'd get 10 views, if that, and most the time I would delete the pieces a week or two later.

Then, not long ago, I discovered MLP and started drawing again. The views, comments and favs came pouring in. I think I have EQD to thank for a lot of it, considering the amount my stuff has been featured over there.

I was just adding the finishing touches to a drawing in Photoshop... when I tab out to check my emails. Upon tabbing back in, Photoshop decides to crash. Now at this point I'm crossing my fingers hoping that Windows will be able to recover it; even though I know fine well that Windows can never recover anything and that it's a total lost cause. :P
