Me? Well, I'm fine.

For those who care (or are just plain nosy! XD ), here's a rundown of my activities!

-Startin' a new set of Pokemon and Sonic ATCs.

-Learned all about the kick-assness that is Project Needlemouse (Sonic 2010). [link]

-Gettin' some awesome new skills in my Drawing 1 class. (loves negative space drawing!)

- Trying to study for Psychology.

-Now wishing I withdrew from said class with full refund so I can pay attention to Algebra without feeling guilty.

-Deleted old file on Pokemon Fire Red @ 12:50 9.11.2009. Champions safe in Diamond.

-Working on a story based on new Fire Red file, tentatively called The Ballad of Deer and Turtledove.

-Attempting to scan something decent and post it in my Artician and Fur Affinity accounts. XD

-Drawing up new pages to Cadaver Dog. Some already done, just need to rework half-assed writing and post it. XD

It's so beautiful; my stepdad found the perfect laptop for my arting and at a great price!

It's a Toshiba Satellite L355-S7915. Beautiful, with a large 17" screen and 3gigs of SDRAM, along with 250GB of HDD. I can play Spore on it and it won't freeze up or anything! Eeeeee!

I'm just settin' her up for a test drive now, y'know just in case there's something wrong with it, but I'm pretty sure I'm gonna keep her; there's a lot good reviews about this laptop.

More later, I'm gonna play me some more Spore.

And I mean that in the most sarcastic way possible.

My friend, Marilyn was very sick and was throwing up practically every half hour; my boss was like 'Mar, you should call Frannie to come in early if your that sick!' and she was like 'Naw, I got it.'

So then I come in at my regular time and she starts to throw up again! I'm like 'Mar whyu didn't you call me if you were sick? You know I wouldn't mind if I came in early!'

Now granted, that would mean I would be working 10 hours, but that's cool. I like money. XD

Anyway, she was all like 'Naw, Frannie. I'm good.' -_-;

That Mar. She's a glutton for trouble.

So she manages to stay for another 4 hours before she finally goes home.

But not before I slice my friggin' arm on a metal frame!

For those who don't know (or if I never told ya), I work in a frame shop. I love this job like I love cake. I put together people's frames and crap like that. So I finish putting together a black metal frame and it slips outta my hand and gets under my long sleeve white blouse!

It's not too deep, not enough to have stitches or anything, but it was pertty damn close! XD

Didn't hurt yesterday, but it's starting to smart a little today.

So yeah.

Well, I'm debating over a Sly Cooper, a Pokemon, a Sonic the Hedgehog, a Twilight or an original. Since they're short, I guess I can do all five of them. How 'bout you guys? Since I just got out of this semester of college, so my internet time is greatly reduced. The only place I can ever get on anymore is at my library until I go back in the fall.

I know. It sucks!

But luckily, I'll still be able to upload stuff... just a lot slower. Not like that mattered in the first place!

And my tablet is working again! It just needed a new pen! *happy dance* So no more crappy pencil work for a little while! I need to continue practicing my Photoshop technique. ^^

Until I saw a guy's truck lose control.

Let me tell ya what happened.

So yesterday, I was comin' home from mah bud's house, I saw a large white van hydroplane, clip a large tree, spin outta control and land in the woods! The guy went flyin' thru windshield and land head first on the asphalt!

I was so scared and worried. From the way he was just lying there, I thought he was dead! But luckily, he got up after about five minutes or so.

The problem is that I live in a very rural area; lots of trees, lots of twists and turns. That + slick wet roads from the rain usually equals a crash. But that guy got real lucky. He could've died! But I guess the real lucky part was that tree bein' there, because if it wasn't he woulda hit the little white house that was behind it!

I'm still pretty shaken up about that... probably because it reminded me of the time I got hit by two cars...

I've been forgetting alot of things lately, so much so that I swear that I might have Teenage Alzhimer's (I know that's not possible, but you get the point).

I forgot my wallet and my cellphone at home, and didn't realize it until I got to collage (which is about an hour away from home), and I had to speed all the way home before I get caught by the Man. I get home and I get my essensials and there's not a cop in sight ('cause they're only around when I have my license on me, which is ironic). I drive around to my job to return some scrapbook paper. I park in the handicap spot. I have the soft tag in my hand to hang on the mirror.

And I missed the whole damn thing completely!

So the handicap tag falls and I have no clue!

So I get out from my light shopping and I see a 500 fucking dollar parking ticket sitting so snuggly under my windshield wiper!

Right now I'm sitting in my class, typing this up and crying on the inside.

This whole day blows. I'm so upset I can't think or see straight...

Lots of new stuff for me to submit here, along with getting back in touch with my old friends!

For those who actually give a damn about what I've been up too, I fought my ticket this past Friday and beat it like a rental mule! The judge was so nice and funny; he kept crackin' jokes every friggin' minute! So when I got up and told him what happened, he was all like 'okay, just go. You fixed that registration problem, so it's all cool'.

Sweet.

And on yesterday (Inaguration Day!) I got a 3/4 crown put in my back right tooth. Everybody kept telling me how bad it was gonna be when I got it, but I don't know what they're talking about. My dentist is the coolest doctor I know. He know's exactly how to take care of my ol' chompers. I didn't feel a thing, but I did start aching a bit after the numbness wore off...

Well, I gotta get going. My class is starting. XD

Let me tell you guys what happened.

I was driving home from picking my sister up from college. There were two cops next to me. The first cop took of down the highway with no problem whatsoever. The second cop was still next to me. I thought he was gonna pull over so I slowed down a bit. After a minute of two I realized that he wasn't so I sped back up to my regular speed. The next thing I know he slows down, gets behind me and starts flashing his lights and signals me to pull over!

So I pull over and he tells me that I was driving with expired tags, which was silly becasue I know the tags on my dad's car was good for another year. So I give him my license and my dad's registration for the car. Five minuites later, I get the ticket for apparently driving with suspended registration.

So I get home and I tell my dad about the ticket. He raises hell. We're trying to figure out why this officer gave me a ticket for something that (as far as we knew) wasn't suspended.

It wasn't until I went to the police station an hour later that my dad and I discovered that his registration was, indeed, suspended.

So let's recap.

I drive the car, unaware that my dad's registration is suspended, and I get the $140 ticket.

Now I have to go to court to aruge the fact that I don't deserve this ticket, especially since the car isn't even registered in my name and I had no clue about the suspension before the incident.

...

*sigh*

Well... in other news I voice has been shot to high heaven. Right now I sound like a goose that's being sodomized with a weed hacker. XD

5.) I like to voice act on the side. I have no professional history though. I just like to do it for fun. I talk in so many different voices I think they might be running into each other, giving me a very original-sound normal voice! XD

6.) Oddly enough, I try very hard to make myself look unattractive. I don't like the attention I get from guys because I'm akward when it comes to takin' compliments.

7.)Speaking of attention from guys, I've never had a boyfriend, which makes people think that I'm a lesbian. But I'm not.

8.) I'm often critisized by my RL friends and family for liking Sonic the Hedgehog and Pokemon. I could really give half a crap about them. If I love something, I don't toss it to the wayside. ^^

I have to tell you guys something awesome.

May 3rd, 2008 (Free Comic Book Day) was the best day of my life!

Why?

'Cause I got to meet and have a chat with one of my favorite comic book artists, Mr. Matt Herms! He draws the Archie Sonic comics for those who don't know.

He's such a nice man... And so tall too! When we had our picture taken I had to literally look up to see his face! But either way, he signed my Sonic comic issue 185 and gave me a free sketch. I'm-a gonna frame it so it'll look nice forever and ever. ^^

It looks and sound kick ass so far and if we're lucky, Sega won't screw it up like they did Sonic Next Gen!

So here's the basics so far in case you didn't already find out/too lazy to find it yourselves. XD

1. Sonic turns into a werewolf when it turns to night. People seem skeptical about Sonikku's new blood thirsty man handling and/or devoring wolf side, but I accept it. It's like Sega answered my dreams to include two of my most favorite things in the world.

2. Eggman seems to have been successful in blowing up the planet or some crazy B.S. like that. Finally! It takes him 17 frickin' years to gather the man parts to get the job done! Jeez!

3. Dragon King. Or at least this is speculated to have one in the game. I'm cool with that.

4. It'll be a multi-platform game. That's right everyone gets to party! Wii, 360 and PS3 owners can embrace in blue doom glory!

So that's about all for now. I'll be adding to the list as I hear more. But for now, party on dear friends!

It's been frickin' forever, eh?

Well, I've been very busy at home. I'm starting my new semester in college, improving my arting, and kickin' serious arse on my Wii. XD


Got some bad news though...

I might have GERD (gastroesophegal reflux disease for you non-medical types). >.<; It sucks. I have to go drink frickin' barium and get an X-ray done tomorrow. Barium is not delicious.....

But on a lighter not, I wanna thank you guys for all the faves and comments! I may not be able to read all of them since I still can't get on DA at home, but I seriously appreciate the love.

It's been a while, huh?

Just some quick updates I guess...

It's been about two weeks and I already hate it.

They're makin' work night shifts - 4 'till closing time (which is at 10) almost everyday.

I was late twice because I wasn't told where the schedule was the first day I started working.

I'm not even gettin' my lunch break when I work over six hours, which is against the law, especially if you're a minor. Which I am.

*rolls eyes*

I'm workin' the night shift once again for the next three days, but if I work the night shift again like I do now next week, I'm quittin' and going to work for Target.

I like Target better anyway. X3

Well, where should I start?

I got in at 12.

Took me 40 minutes to get the blasted register to recognize me. Then I had to take an extra four minutes to get a till from the Gardening Department on the other side of the store.

Then I got started. ^^

In 10 minutes the dumb receipt thingy jammed up, causing five people to not get receipts.

I forgot to get autorization to cash a customer's check...

Kept hittin' my elbow on the edge of the bleeding register...

Then it got better.

Got off at 5.

And my feet are killing me...

But at least I get 8 bucks an hour. X3

Why Flame Rising Will Flame You:

Firstly, you have my humblest apologies. This is not a story, or a poem, and I am well aware that as such I am breaking several of the Terms Of Service of this site. But, I beg of you, rather than simply disregard this document, or report it for abuse, read it. Learn from it. It contains important information that can help to make this site a better place; as melodramatic as that may sound. So please, have patience, and I will tell you why I am here…

Flamers. You may have heard of them, you may not. If you have heard of them, then you have most likely either been a victim of one, or know someone who has. You may even be a flamer yourself. If you have not been the victim of one of these individuals, then you are a lucky person indeed.

For those who are not aware, a flamer is a bully. They write abusive, degrading comments or reviews to stories that they do not like. Whilst everyone has an opinion, and is entitled to such, these ‘flamers’ go too far. All too often, these twisted individuals harass their victim to the point of distraction, often forcing them to leave this site just to make it all stop. This can not be allowed to continue, for reasons I should not have to state here. Does that then mean that every bad review is a ‘flame‘? No. If someone genuinely does not like an author’s story, then they have a right to express that opinion. If we are only ever told about the good points about our writing, then we can never grow, or learn, or better ourselves. By hearing about the points that need work, the reviewer is pointing out something that we might not have noticed and need to work on.

Appreciate that honesty. Thank them where possible. Ask the reviewer what you can do to improve. If you can’t do this, ask a friend. At the end of the day, no person is perfect. We all make mistakes. If you can not face that fact, then life, my friend, is going to be very sad for you.

A flame, however, is something else entirely. A flame is written in a deliberately abusive manner, using terminology ranging from ‘You Suck!’ to swearing. The whole point of a flame is to put down the author for the gratification of the flamer. Like any bully, they get a kick out of putting other people down, because for a few brief moments, someone is more miserable than them. They don’t want to help you to improve; they just want to have good laugh at your expense.

On the FanFiction site, there is a growing movement of flamers, who have started working their way through the various fandoms, attacking anyone who they view as an inferior author. There is even a forum named The Fireplace, run by an individual named Flame Rising, designed to be a meeting place for these bullies; a place where they can run down, deride and generally destroy whoever they choose.

Ironically, the majority of the flamers that frequent this forum have posted no stories of their own. Paw the Shapeshifter (me) - Paw a Shapeshifter with a human defualt. She was born on Earth, where everyone else in her family were human. At age 12 she met up with Tyrack and left Earth to live on Planet Amasta, a jungle-like planet inhabited by unique creatures. On Earth, she is called 'Frannie'.

Princess Tyrack Zinobi Wolf the Second - Born in the 1780s, Tyrack Wolf II is the former princess to a pack of wolves living in Northern Ireland. Her people were killed and she was subjected to countless experiments, eventually becoming one of the Immortal. She changes her name every couple of centeries to deter any suspicion of her immortality, telling her real name to a worthy few. She lives on Planet Amasta with Paw.

Canus Telifari - Canus is one of Sonic the Hedgehog's many alternate realities. He's a Hedgehog Tenrec/Gray Wolf hybrid with a case of Dissociative Identity Disorder and a mix of Psychotic and Atypical Depression. His best friends are Sitani the Bobcat and Dr. Nue Sorcierère.

• Quemadmodum - The second personality of Canus. He was created through Canus' need to survive in Madagascar, and elevated to a mind-controlling maniac when Canus' therapy came to an abrupt hault when the people of Laozen Village heckled him. He lusts for Sitani and is willing to do anything for her, even if it means killing his host.

The reason I'm saying this?

Well, I have Sickle Cell Anemia.

But I have the pleasure of being with my friends, hangin' out at the mall... sittin' on my butt in front of the computer. XD

I don't have many of the problems other Sickle Cell patients have. The worst that has ever happened to me that was related to my disease was when I had that episode when I was seven. I went to the hospital, peed in a cup, and went home. That's it. I haven't had another episode since. The only thing I have now it chronic athritis-like pain in my joints.

But there are many kids who don't have the same luckiness as I do. They have to have transfusions, dyalasis, gene therapy... and stay in a hospital for days, maybe months at a time.

I want to help kids understand Sickle Cell... how they can cope with it.

So I'm making a book.

It's called I Have Sickle Cell. It's going to be directed towards children, but it can be read by anyone who has it or wants to know what it's about.

They say that the best way to write a book is to actually experience it yourself. Well, I have an entire lifetime experiencing this disease, and I think it's time I made a difference. ^^

Been drawing Canus and his homies, then Murray from the Sly Coopersereis (my favorite character!), then... yeah.

Any requests or trades out there? I could really use one right about now. XD

Sly Cooper seems to have stired up a hype. There are about three different variations of this supposed 'new game'. But all-in-all, my best guess would be somewhere along the lines of the first variation, Sly 4: Power of Thieves.

A cheesy name, yes, but it seems logical, Captian. X3
