As most of you are aware I have been absent for the past month or so, most of you possibly do not know why, unless you have been particularly observant.
My "work" (occultist for "hire") became rather busy for about three weeks. After that time I was simply depleted and I booked myself a holiday here in Scotland for two weeks. And after one weeks rest and relaxation I am much better for it can at LAST resume my regular activities.

I have purchased myself a new computer - with Vista, which is an interesting change from Xp - and I donated my former behemoth to a neighbour along with a number of games and programs that are now incompatable with my current operating system.
I am however currently in the country with my aforementioned computer and as a result I am currently unable to acquire Office 2007 and Open Office is simply not as good as advetised, which means that it will take me a few more days to finish my work with the Space Age related materials (I had a number of good ideas over the past few days) I should have the second part of the Eye of Truth finished and submited withing the next three days. I will also be editing the entry on the Divines as I seem to have been a little out of my mind at the time that I made that entry, and some of its details can be misleading.
Due to Vermatalion's onset of "game-maker's block" I no have about three more months to spend on the idea requests I outlined in my last journal entry. (though no one has added so-much as a whisper of an idea, I do however blame my absence on this in part at least)

For those of you who posses the Seals of Nomin I need you to inform me about your current conditions, as well as those of the symbols in you possession, as soon as possible.
Keros has informed that the input from about two symbols has disappeared and another has suffered enough damage to cause what could be best describe as a "containment breach" so if anybody with a particularly nasty looking Seal is experiencing something strange I would like to be informed.

As always your time and co-operation is appreciated.

First, it is well past time to let the proverbial (and literal) "cat out of the bag" as it were. This one is a relation of mine who discovered my existence here a while back and as one thing lead to another he pleaded with me for help on a project of his.
Considering that he lacks what I would call a proper sense of creativity and/or imagination I decided to help him. Thus I have been engaged in constructing the underlying universe of his creation. He calls me a "creative assitant" - for the love of Anu I AM the entire creative department at this point.
Nonetheless I digress...

Second, as I am quite busy at this point with a number of personal projects I find myself streched a little thin. And it was this morning when a rather interesting idea occured to me.
I shall however need to elaborate considerably before I can really continue with the idea.

SPACE AGE
Vermatalion (or V as we tend to refer to each other) concieved a grand "Space Opera" civilization game some time ago. He has spent many years musing over the idea but has only recently turned those thoughts into serious work. (personally I suspect that hearing about the game Spore had had some part in this)
"Space Age" as he has named it (personally I think it is an appropriate title, he however thinks a better name should be found, in little more then a year he hasn't found one) is still very much a work-in-progress with the rules for it only about half-way finished. However he seems to be gaining momentum as I believe he shall be finished with his "version zero" rules by about June or July this year.
I am largely responsible for the basic style and layout of the "standard universe" which has had some effects on the rules of the game. And I also designed much of the galaxy (for a rudimentary image of Galaxy 611 view that link) within which the first game will take place.
The setting is not what you might expect, it is a science fiction and fantasy universe were you can find virtually any kind of civilization and species. Esentially the only limitations to the creation of any species and civilization (within the context of the games universe) is the amount of points that you have to purchase their various abilities, advantages, disadvantages and traits.

Third. I have already completed the much the earlier parts of the Galaxy's history however much of it's recent history still eludes me. I will be posting what I have worked on so far over the course of the coming week so keep an eye out for it.

Now I shall finally get on with the actual purpose of this journal.

Fourt. For the months of Febuary and possibly a bit of March I would like any ideas regarding civilizations, species, scenarios and whatever you might imagine that could fit into the Space Age Universe and/or Galaxy 611.

Your assistance would be much appreciated and nothing will be used without giving credit to the creator nor without their permission. Do however understand that this is currently still a non-profit project put forward by someone who simply wanted to create a game that actually lived up to the creators expectations.
And I thank you for taking your time to read this particularly long journal entry.

I dread the coming week for this is the time of the year when I am fondled, hugged and kissed for no more reason then "'ello son Happy Birthday, right!"...
You will not be hearing from me for about a week I suspect...I really hate my birthday because of my family (this is what I get for being the only son in the immediate family. [sighs]

As for any of you who have been wondering my birthday is on the eight of this month (to be precise at about noon). Then I shall be twenty-one. Not that I care much about the age, I am merely mentioning it for the sake of completeness.

Those of you who have helped with the Nomin project thank you very much! Although I still require assistance from Asia, Australia and/or China, Japan. So if anyone in those regions are willing then please assist.

I will also be adding the first part of a "short" story I have been writing here along with a bit of digital art I have been messing around with for the past few weeks. I will also expand on the section about the Art in the next few weeks, particularly in the areas of training and more basic use (such as conjuration, divination and enchantment).

Oh yes, and a merry xmas to all.

[looking slightly stunned] I have been absent here for a significant amount of time it would seem. I vaguely remember reading something about an update to these web pages just before I left. In hind sight I should perhaps have paid attention, unfortunately circumstances have become rather troublesome.
[sigh] How I long for those blessed days of peace I had up until that damn excursion...
None-the-less I digress - despite the things that have transpired in my absence - I have returned (indefinitely this time, I hope - things are so chaotic these days) with renewed vigour and insight.

My task however is a rather difficult one - and I am running out of time - I do not know too many entities here (yet) but I believe that those I do know might be willing to offer their assistance to (yes even those who read this) my proposal [reclines into his chair thoughtfully].
Before I begin I will require some answers to what will appear to be a rather dangerous and strange question. [eyes glowing green]

What love do you have for this Earth, and would you be willing to do something to change it? Even if that change was great and terrible, would you still do it?

One final thing, that act I require of you is nothing perilous. I merely need a number of individuals - who live on each of the different continents of this planet - to make physical copies of a specific symbol (one for each individual - though each symbols is subtly different from the others) and to keep watch over these symbols for approximately one year (maybe more, maybe less - I am not entirely certain, yet).

I can not stress enough the potential significance of this project nor the time constraint that I am under. So I offer my apologies and ask merely for your forgiveness and patience when it comes to any discussion and plans over the next few days.
[sighs] Things are going to become very interesting indeed...
