Oh yeah, I'm getting a partial fursuit based off Jestre Hyvanine. Commissioned in August. :>
FEATURES:
-Head with hair, movable jaw with both rows of teeth, "follow-me" toony eyes.
-Hand paws with claws up to shoulder. (2 parts: sleeves and gloves that layer over.)
-Foot paws with claws.
-Tail.

An update on life.



I still have my job, my car is running fine...for the most part, I'm still attending DeVry (currently on break :3 and I just finished my coding and physics classes with A's leaving me with a still perfect 4.0 GPA which also got me on the Dean's list x3).

As far as the art and avatar front, I've been so busy, it's been hard to find time. I am currently sketching Shadow-Fox Kakuretsin in an Extreme-G style suit, and I am still thinking of a cycle to create for him. To those of you unfamiliar with Extreme-G, it was a futuristic style racing game that first came out on the Nintendo 64. Fun game, but I haven't played to GC or PS2 renditions.

Happy Yulmahanukwanzadan by the way! (Yule + Christmas + Hanukkah + Kwanzaa + Ramadan)

What else, what else...

Oh yeah, I've been stirring up a little drama on SA, LJ's long lost, artistic, dramatic stepsister. Reason, ~rtil banning issue which has happened in the past. I've submitted a few sound clips if you'd like to hear. Just see my page which has the same username that I have here.

MFF (Midwest FurFest) 2008 was a blast. Those who attended, know. |D It's a midwest furry con for those who don't know. It's also the third largest furry convention in the world. I'm still aiming to get a fursuit by 09.

Well, there's not much else that is new other than a few drawings yet to be submitted.

Among other things, one of my classic vents. I love to have my share of fun on the internet, but I always feel I come off as someone two-faced, if not more. I range from sad, to pissed, to wacky, to sarcastic, to comedic, even to being an ass. Is it natural to be such? I could rip you a new one, console you the next minute. I usually disregard what happens in the past. There's no use in not liking someone. Life's too short. Move on, and we can perhaps be friends. I digress.

I'll be cheesy, and say the internet is like a box of chocolates. You can get that rich chocolaty one, but get that crappy coconut the next. You can luck out, but really, you have to keep the same face not to look disappointed. People expect you to go a certain way, even if you're the serious type. I'm that perfect example. I tended to be sharp, objective, and one that seeked justice, but after much happenings, I twisted along to wear one of my many masks, as you could call them. If my mask had an expression right now to be seen, it would be glaring. Though you'll see my laughing mask the next.

Back to how people want you to be, and go, "How dare you say that! Piss off!" To you, I say, fuck off, I have the right to have an opinion, and can say it if I so choose. :3

I'll judge you where I stand if the time comes, but you better luck out on which mask I wear because really, I don't feel like I have a real face anymore, just a space to be covered by a mask.

Now on to my expression. (I bet you guys missed this kind of thing from me.) This has nothing to do with the Joker, but I would mentally be considered him. I am usually able to judge how things will play before I do it, and I am often right. Though that's just me being a sly bastard. x9 It's hard to express in words. I essentially have almost no sense of fear at times, I even challenge things that cause fear. My thinking is so out there that what I think of may shock my friends.

Now here's a part you may not believe, my friend and I have been able to psychically tune in to one another where we had to guess what the other was thinking. We were both right. So, I said, "I'm curious what my soul looks like" since your soul could be different from your actual body. Mine had a crazy look and was laughing.

This is what I wanted to type back in May.

So, welcome to Ulty's corner. An artist is a creative person. They can be small or great, but there's a way other than practice for them to get better, CRITIQUE. It's meant to help you improve. "This is horrible." isn't a critique. "Maybe [insert area to be mentioned where improvement is needed in a kind way]." is a general example. Say you have some proportions are off, someone would be there to help you by CRITIQUE. If you don't like critique, is it because you like your ego stroked instead? Why even bother letting people comment. Not accepting critique is a form of close-mindedness in my book. Take good critique, it's there to help.

Here's a dramatized example of a kind of person that doesn't want critique, "STROKE MY EGO FOR I DON'T NEED HELP AND MY ART IS GREAT!!!! ARE YOU GIVING ME CRTIQUE TO HELP ME BE BETTER?!!?!! GO THE FUCK AWAY!!!!"

I stress over financial situations.
I'm a self proclaimed Neutralist in religion. (Not agnostic since there are things I believe, but like to be neutral with.)
I have every released StarFox game.
I've been playing video games for as long as I remember.
I have every Nintendo console. (Virtual Boy doesn't count.)
I would love to see an alternate fuel since not everyone will switch to hybrids and whatnot. So, change the fuel that will work with everyone's cars for we can hardly afford things nowadays.
People who can't take critique, should. Art site. What do you want? Your ego stroked?
Egotistical/Elitist artists/people should get over themselves.
I would love to be popular, but don't want to a little.
I would like to yell "FUCK YOU!" to some people when they have a problem with me, but I don't say it.

The PTA is ignorant and hypocritical in my eyes. There are ratings for a reason, and the stories are FICTIONAL meaning they aren't to be re-enacted. Blame yourselves for letting your kids go off, don't blame the people who made the game.
I sometimes have a slight stutter.
Wolf and Zero Suit Samus are my best characters in Brawl.
A lot of money would be nice.
After submitting certain things, I have a slight regret afterwards.
God/Bible pushers annoy me.
In faith VS evidence (religion VS science), I'm stuck in the middle.
I hate porn.
Sex and prejudice/racist jokes make me feel uncomfortable.
I support GLBT.
Though I've claimed to be bisexual, I feel like I'm more straight, but still bi-curious.
Gang signs to me make me feel limited to hand signs I can use for fun.
My eyes are a grayish hazel with a slight bit of gold.
I love to be unique to the fullest extent.
People who call everything with emotion emo deserve a good V8 smack to the forehead.
Though education is the financial priority, it would be nice to get a partial fursuit.
I hate stereotyping.
I know I'm not insane, but I feel as though I have a slightly split personality. The nice guy who everyone loves and the intelligent, dark maniac that is kept in my head most of the time.

Now UPS delivery service-- I mean ups and downs of 2007.

Ups:
-Got some good video games.
-Got a pair of cool goggles.
-Stayed at a con all three nights for the first time. (Reactor 07.)
-Got my driver's license.
-Got my mom's old car, a 93 emerald green Dodge Intrepid, which isn't a beater, for free. (She got a new white 08 Dodge Avenger.)
-Explored new artistic ideas.
-Had fun meeting new people.

Downs:
-Major art block for the second half of the year.
-Couldn't get a job.
-The economy was horrible.
-Got a little colder, personality wise.
-Got in a few internet fights.
-Couldn't get to MFF 07 due to economic issues.
-Couldn't get a partial fursuit.
-Some memes annoyed me.
-Internet wise, I didn't feel I was there enough for people I'm friends with.

So, the downs were a little more powerful than the ups, and there were more of them.

Also, before I did this journal, I found quite a gem of a skit on YouTube. I'd want you to watch with an open mind because it's a very touching skit. It brought some tears to my eyes it was so powerful. I'm being honest here. See it for yourself.

Hey boys and girls of the internet, do you want to be popular? Well, it's quite easy, and there are different ways you can do it. You could do a crap load of fanart since people go crazy for the stuff. Or you could be a cartoonist that comes out with a meme for people to constantly overuse. Or as a last you resort, you could strike some controversy to the internet many ways. Unless you don't really deserve it like hard working people do. Sorry, original artists, but it seems the general public likes fanart and repeated pieces of crap. Well, kids, did you learn anything today?




((Yeah, you might be able to tell what I'm ranting about in a mocking way. In other words, I hate how people are popular through fanart, WORKS COPYRIGHTED TO OTHER PEOPLE, and memes that people go crazy for. Which leaves few original artists to their deserved popularity, and love even though fanartists are still more popular, and "loved."
